2301  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: April 11, 2022, 12:39:42 PM

2302  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 11, 2022, 12:25:40 PM
In theory I would expect that more promotions and special offers are attracting more customers short term. There should be a strong correlation between a new promotion and higher traffic at a casino. But some of this traffic will probably disappear when the promotion ends. Whereas higher RTP games should keep a higher percentage of the gamblers at the casino. In case the casino has a certain amount of money than can give back to the gamblers either through promotions or RTP, then the casino needs to find the right mix between the two. The thing is that a change in RTP might not really be noticed by the individual gambler. Let's say that the casino changes it RTP from 95% to 96%. It's a big step for the casino, but for the average gambler it only makes a small difference. That's why I prefer to use promotions, here you know exactly what you get and it makes it easier to plan ahead.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 11, 2022, 11:34:01 AM
I can't even access this website, it's hard to give you an advice here if you should put money in it or not. The link already looks very wierd for a website to be honest. Maybe it's blocked in my country or by my provider, both of it doesn't sound very good. I don't want to say it's fake without looking at the site properly, but using VPNs for gambling or sports betting is not a good option also. The whole offer that the bookmaker would cover your losses if you lose sounds misleading. How are they going to make money then if they pay for you? If you win they have to pay and if you lose they also have to pay. If this is true than the company would be out of of business very quickly. Would be needed to check the fineprints of the terms to see what exactly is included in that promotion. There must be some limits to the offer, can't believe for that to be a constant opportunity.
2304  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia wants to build a new world order with China on: April 11, 2022, 07:44:15 AM

High inflation rates weaken USD dominance for sure but are it really possible to replace USD as a reserve currency or the USA will allow that so easily? The era of regional currency is coming?

It is nothing new that China and Russia want to weaken the USD and change the world reserve currency. The only question is if Russia is fine to support Yuan as the new number one world currency? Because China would never settle for another currency as reserve currency that is not the Yuan. And what would Russia gain from all of this? Right now the world is trying to reduce trading with Russia and also dealing with Ruble, it doesn't seem very likely that the Ruble will surpass the Dollar as the world first reserve currency. As for the Yuan, China is a very export heavy country. All their economic growth is based on offering cheap products all around the world. They could ask to be paid only in Yuan in the future, but I am not sure how strong the bargaining power is. If the western countries collective say they will only pay in Dollars or Euros, I think that China still has to accept that. Maybe the picture will look different in 10-15 years, at the moment it seems that the US Dollar will remain as the worlds largest reserve currency.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and reliogion on: April 11, 2022, 07:27:33 AM
What about btc and reliogions?
If im christian fully full christian i pray everyday and serve full time god how do i know if btc not ban for me if im full god person.
Is anything about crypto or btc what might be against reliongins ?
Any experinces on that ?

No there is no issue with religion and Bitcoins, why should there be one? I am also a Christian but not very active, I rarely go to church and never really pray - only in really bad moments. What I do remember from my studies is that being a good citizen is the goal. Being a friendly and helpful person within your community, helping others and not harming man or animals is very important. All these things don't contradict investing and trading crypto currencies. Alcohol, Cigarettes, Gambling are all not bad things, as long as you don't do them excessively. Everybody needs time after work to regenerate and relax, if you combine that with looking after your finances and invest in Bitcoins its good. Just make sure to follow the laws in your country and you will be fine with the religion aswell.
2306  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 11, 2022, 06:41:38 AM

What impact will be received by gambling companies, both fiat and crypto, because we know that gambling companies use celebrities to boost the popularity of these gambling sites?

That is really bad news for the gambling industry in UK. So far it seems that UK is the first major country to start limiting the advertising of bookmakers and casinos. Do we know if there are others? I really hope that other countries will not follow suit. Just looking at crypto.com and other major companies who engaged multiple celebrities over the last 12 month, this would make their advertising options very limited. I understand that we need to protect minors from the harm of unsupervised gambling - it needs to be clear that the celebrities didn't get so rich through gambling and betting but rather through their main jobs in the film/music/sport industry. For me bans and limitations are most of the times a bad thing and will have a negative impact on the crypto world. Using high profile individuals and celebrities for advertising has been done for a long period of time, and the casinos and bookmakers should have checks in place like KYC to make sure that no minors can play on there site. A ban seems to harsh in my opinion.
2307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trade cryptocurrency with FX trading knowledge? on: April 09, 2022, 02:53:59 PM
I must admit that I'm truly a newbie in both trading and cryptocurrency at large. I took some courses on trading some months ago, those training were majorly on foreign exchange (trading currency pairs). I've not been able to perfect my strategies though, but I'm curious about cryptocurrency trading, would there be need to learn it specially or general trading knowledge can help in cryptocurrency trading: can I trade cryptocurrency with the knowledge I've acquired in Foreign exchange trading?

Any trading course helps you with crypto currency. There are a lot of subjects in trading which are the same for all types of assets. For example, risk management and controlling your emotions when making investment decision are very important in trading Fiat currencies and crypto currencies. If you have a good trading strategy in the FC you can try to copy it to bitcoins and other cryptos. Just make sure to monitor your trades closely, there is no guarantee that it will also work. The future prices in fiat currencies are much more fixed than crypto prices. This higher volatility creates many opportunities for traders, but can also bring bigger losses. The fiat money is so stable because of central banks that guarantee interest rates. So if currency A can get a 2% risk free interest in 1 year, while currency B has 0% interest from the central bank than we know today currency A will be stronger in 1 year. Such predictability we don't have in the crypto world.
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 09, 2022, 02:29:23 PM
Very nice, seems like crypto.com is all over the place these days. Would be nice to know how big their annual marketing budget is. It's a nice way to promote crypto currencies and do some advertising at the same time. Crypto.com seems to target all areas of the sport industry for their ads. This probably will also bring a boost to the whole crypto sport betting community. I wonder how many UFC fighters will actually keep their Bitcoin bonus and how many of them will sell them immediately to convert to USD. For any big athlete with a lot money it would be a good idea to diversify some funds into bitcoins and other cryptos. If I were a fighter I would keep all my bonuses and negotiate some of my salary to be paid in bitcoins too.

2310  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad economy is not good for either super rich or very rich on: April 09, 2022, 01:35:33 PM
If we ever come towards a society where everybody needs a gun to protect his family and personal belongings than we are doomed. Without a law everyone can trust in, a country will collapse. First of all in such a world nobody would be using banks anymore, large amounts of cash will be stored at home and the financial system will go bankrupt. After that transactions will only happen between two people individually and no taxes are going to be paid. Why would anybody give money to the government if they can't guarantee laws and safety for its people. Once the government runs out of money the whole administration will stop working and military will likely riot. Eventually there will be a civil war where small local groups fight against each other.
2311  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 09, 2022, 01:27:27 PM
With Sport games I assume you mean betting on sport games. Both of them are fun for me, I enjoy playing casino games a lot more regularly though. Betting is fun too, but I only bet on matches where I think that I have an advantage or if its really big tournaments like the Worldcup where all my friends are betting. In the end it comes down to what us more interesting to you and where you are willing to invest time in. There is no guarantee in either of them to make you rich quickly or guarantee a profit. In case you are a beginner than learning dice games in casinos is very easy and make you some nice profits. Or in case if you have a favourite sports team that you watch all the games and you feel like you are calling the wins and losses days before the game, than you should definitely bet some money on it. Just don't rely on it to make you a lot of money quickly.
2312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: April 09, 2022, 01:17:36 PM
A stable bitcoin price is very hard to achieve, because we we look at bitcoins quoted either in Dollars or Euros. Both of them are not fixed in value and fluctuate daily. So even if bitcoins would have a stable price, than changes in the value of the Dollar will make it seem that bitcoins are fluctuating. First of all we need to find a more stable way to value bitcoins. Another factor that plays a role in the bitcoin price is the halving every 4 years. The price could remain stable for a few years but would likely rise with the halving. The price needs to be at a level for the miners to be profitable. In my opinion as long as bitcoins don't drop to 10, or 20,000 USD again it's already stable.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 07, 2022, 03:06:27 PM
Crypto.com has been on a sponsorship spending spree, securing high-profile deals with Formula One, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Italian soccer’s Serie A, French club soccer giants Paris Saint-Germain and the NHL’s  Montreal Canadiens, while also taking on the Philadelphia 76ers’ jersey patch sponsorship. Source : https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/crypto-com-staples-center-naming-rights-la-lakers-kings-aeg/

This exchange must make loads of money to fund these sponsorships and they also struck a deal for the renaming of the "Staples Center" to be named the Crypto.com Arena. (A deal that must have cost them about US$700 million)  Roll Eyes

Oh wow, I didn't know that it's so expensive just to rename an Arena. For 700 million you could get a lot celebrities to promote your exchange. Having a building named after your company is a nice publicity event too. All the fans going there, the commuters passing by and the fans watching from home will constantly see the name. Good for crypto.com, they are a very good exchange and deserve all the success. It's amazing to see crypto companies doing so well. The crypto boom made many investors rich, but also the companies that provide services for the investors. The more big crypto companies we have the better for the whole community. It gives some sort of security to new investors to trust in these names.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: April 06, 2022, 06:50:14 AM
1st winner
2nd winner and
3rd Winner.

Say your mind.

Hard not to be biased here so early in the tournament, but could be nice to place some bets very early on to get good odds for later. I like to bet at least 4-5 small bets at the start of the tournament on some promising outlier teams, just to hedge all my other bets. My outlier picks right now are Mexico and Canada - if either of them win you would get 151x back which is insane.

For my overall winners the most promising look:

1st - Brazil
2nd - France
3rd - Spain
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 06, 2022, 06:37:45 AM
Quite hesitant on BIG. They have fucked my bets many times over for me to trust them ever again. Sissi is a good team but inconsistent so far with their results, but even then I wouldn't place any bet for BIG even if they are against a tier 2/3 teams. They ought to redeem themselves, especially faven who is always underperforming and might even be the weakest link of the group.

I know what you mean, in the past BIG wasn't so consistent when it comes to the big tournaments. But don't forget this isn't the Tier 1 team BIG from the Major tournaments, this is BIG Academy - the training team behind BIG. The team is much younger than the players from BIG and the roaster is also quite new, on average the player is 20 years only and in the team for 2-3 months. The played really well against Sissi State Punks, wining 16-4 on Nuke.
Tomorrow will be the match BIG Academy vs Cowana Gaming as part of the ESL Meisterschaft, which is going to be a very close match. Both teams are very equally skilled and are almost on the same ladder place. Hard to predict a winner here, because there are players like glaVed who played a long time for BIG Academy but is now with Cowana. I would still go with BIG on this one though. For the other game tomorrow Sprout vs No Limit Game it should be an easy win for Sprout - they only lost 2 games this season.
2316  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: April 05, 2022, 07:43:29 AM
this may be possible, see my case, I only used 3 gambling sites, the first one I only used a few days and gave up on it, the second I only used it for 2 or 4 months and stopped and now that I'm using the stake, I'm not talking about a subscription campaign, I'm talking about that I only used 3 sites to place sports bets. maybe because I'm not a big fan of using many sites at the same time that's why I only used 3 gambling sites

Nothing wrong with only using a few gambling sites in my opinion. In todays time casinos became so competitive that there is not such a big difference anymore. If you really like the layout and design of an online casinos and it offers all the games you like to play, why play on multiple casinos? And many casinos run a loyalty program, that the more you gamble there the higher your level and the better goodies and kickbacks you can get. So instead of gambling with 100 USD on 10 different casinos it would be better to gamble at one casino with 1,000 USD. The only thing what makes it for me so attractive to look at new casinos from time to time is big promotions. There are quite a few deposit promotions that offer 100 to 200% bonus on your first deposit what can make a big difference in gambling. Same goes for sport betting, there a lot of different bookmakers out there who are all in competition with each other. That's why they will have always very similar odds for betting. If you found a good betting site with all the sports you like there is no real incentive to switch.
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 05, 2022, 07:19:28 AM
I've seen them pop up all around me, in small convenience stores and even restaurants. I was wondering if it's a good option to buy a gift for someone else, or are the fees too high and it's not worth it? Also I'm not sure how it works but figuring they give you a private key, and how safe is that?

For now I haven't used a Bitcoin ATM, the idea of ATMs that accept cryptos is a good and should be supported worldwide. I am not even aware that there is one close to my home. If there was one close to my home, I probably wouldn't be using it to be honest. I rarely use cash these days, paying with cards is just so much easier and faster. Carrying around large amounts of money is a thing of the past. Also I am trying to build up my crypto portfolio, so withdrawing coins from my wallet and converting them to Fiat money is not really my interest right now. It could be a big alternative when travelling on vacation to have the option to get local cash from our crypto wallets instead of paying high fees to our banks.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 05, 2022, 07:02:18 AM

Other than that it's a great initiative since players would be able to :
1. Improve
2. Make better decisions
3. Play competitively and win more !!
4. Gain more confidence

What do you think about this initiative??
Are you going to sign up ??

Sounds nice, I will give this course a try, thank you for posting it here. Nothing wrong with taking advantage of free things and 70 episodes is a definitely a lot. BlackJack is one of my favourite casino games, I have been playing it for more than 10 years now. The first time I heard about BlackJack was back in highschool from my math teacher. He wanted to show us some statistics example so we played one day BlackJack in class and had to do some presentations on different strategies. It's always great to hear from others about their experiences in gambling and what helped them to become professional. Same goes for more advanced strategies in BlackJack, there are a lot of different approaches to the game and listening to others can open our eyes to maybe change our own strategy. In the end it is all about improving our decision making at the table.
2319  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 04, 2022, 11:50:38 AM
Bitcoin lost half of its value and it took at least 3 months to recover from it. It has been at least 4 months since bitcoin was at an all-time high. This decline was longer than the Q2 2021 bitcoin decline. Will it recover in a few months or in a year?

Time will tell. What are your predictions of when will bitcoin recover from this decline?

Of course Bitcoins are going to recover from the decline. In my opinion we are already in the middle of the recovery. If we look at the bitcoin price at the start of the Ukraine-Russia war it is now much higher even though the war has not ended. The world is facing a lot of problems this year, rising energy prices, rising inflation, declining world trade, rising refugee numbers and ongoing covid crisis. With so many issues it comes as a surprise that Bitcoins are still trading so strong. I would expect the worst to be behind us in the next 6 month. We could see a new ATH for bitcoins in November/December this year.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: April 04, 2022, 08:00:13 AM
Sorry not to answer your question, but rather to ask about that "service". Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere anything like you described.

Could somone please provide a link to such a simulation of reality game?

In sports they are usually called Simulated Reality Leagues, because they not only simulate individual games rather the whole leagues and many games in there. It's not real matches, they use historical data for the teams and matches, but the games itself are randomly generated. The biggest markets are football and cricket matches, you can check them out here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/cricket/simulated-reality-league/matches/future

This is just betting on the games, it's not like you can watch the whole game on your TV. There can be graphical imagines of the games but they are all created after the games are simulated and only die illustration purposes. It must sound very strange to someone who hasn't heard about it before. There quite a lot of people really into that alternative reality games. It gives the opportunity to have many more games per week which would never be possible with real life players. We
