3321  Economy / Economics / Re: Is crypto the final stage in the evolution of money? on: April 14, 2022, 08:25:01 PM
20 years ago nobody would believe there will be something called digital currency (cryptocurrency) that will be threatening the very existence of fiat, same thing happened years back before the advent of fiat, most of the medium of exchange back then where slowly replaced with fiat.

Now with the technological advancement of this generation it is very likely something more advanced will be created, the world is evolving very fast, new inventions every now and then, so it is possible something new will replace crypto in the future.
There were digital currencies even 20 years ago. I mean they weren't as big as bitcoin but that is mainly because of blockchain, bitcoin became the digital currency everyone accepted because of the backing technology it had with blockchain. So, everyone who worked on such projects knew that one day it would happen, didn't know when and didn't know how it would happen but they knew that it would one day be perfected and happen.

The first ever happened in 90's, we are in 2022, that is over 30 years of trial and error until this day, but if we look at 2008-2009 period as the start, that was a decade of studies done on how to perfect it as well.
3322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why no simple service for HODLing Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2022, 03:39:06 PM
Is it really that much of a big deal? I mean do you really have no self control over when you will be selling and when you will be holding? I have been holding for long enough to say that I have been quite good at it. I can't say that I have never sold, and do I regret it?

Of course I do, I could have been a millionaire if I didn't, but at the same time I was basically forced to sell as well, if I could go back to the same situation, I would still sell, maybe try to find another way if I could, because I saw bitcoin as the quickest method at the time and didn't look for other ways, but even if I go back now and look for other ideas, I can't, I am thinking now and I was basically forced to.
3323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 14, 2022, 02:54:55 PM
Bots and plagiarism was a problem then as well. In fact at some point they were in this forum farming accounts. I think that you are just paying more attention to it this time. Most twitter accounts used in bounties were desinged for only that, most youtube accounts were crap, and translations were low effort if not even made with google translate. Paraphrased articles/reviews etc. Not to mention the multiple telegram accounts posting nonsense.
The difference is that there are way more projects these days and the bounty managers have a very little time, I mean you could work like 16 hours a day, but you can't do that every single day. By creating like 10 bounties for a single manager, you are giving them a workload of checking thousands of people, and that is not an easy task, do that for 10 projects and they check tens of thousands of people. I wouldn't be able to do it for that many, I would accept like one or maybe two and then learn from that.

Or maybe I would just hire other people to help me out as well, that way it would be easier. All in all I wouldn't accept 10 bounties all by just myself, that is too much. This is why we are seeing lower and lower quality, because managers can't check them properly.
3324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 14, 2022, 11:01:26 AM
Not just newbies, even people who have been around for a very long time can still fall for a scam. It’s good to always educate ourselves and know what’s happening in the market and be aware of such activities. If we educate ourselves properly we would be able to spot fake projects or scammers from afar.

Just like this morning I got a call from my friend and he told me to check my WhatsApp for a screenshot he sent to me. It was a screenshot of someone who has sent him a login details and claiming that there are over $1 million worth of USDT stored in the account and telling him not to tell anyone. I laughed at it when I saw it because I realized immediately that it was a scam and I warned him to stay far away from that and not even reply the message. No one is throwing millions of dollars on the crypto market lol, that’s a full scam. Only greedy people tend to fall for such old tactics.

Have it in mind that no one is giving you free money in the cryptocurrency market, you only get what you worked hard for. Know it and know peace.
3325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on ? In crypto ? on: April 14, 2022, 05:38:18 AM
In fact, I think every week there is at least more than one token that is created. Whether it's a good token project or just looking for a momentary profit. So at least you need to consider by doing various analyzes about the right coin choice. I think if you want it to be easier, you can simply choose coins and tokens that have been around for a long time and have real-world uses. For example ETH or BNB.
There are so many things in life getting a lot better right now for people in crypto. We are getting a lot more recognition all over the world. Maybe it is about the Russia and Ukraine war, we did get a lot of attention before that, but with this war both sides used crypto for their advantage and that showed the world it is not just about personally getting richer but also about blockchain and how great it is.

Ukraine used it because they wanted to get donations from all over the world and over hundred million of dollars given to them, maybe it is not enough to make them go back to how they were, but it is still great. Russians also used it to bypass sanctions as well. So, it was national level help, and not just regular "I bought some and got rich" situation.
3326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Desktop wallet vs Mobile wallet on: April 13, 2022, 08:24:46 PM
Reality is that desktop wallet is a bit more tough to crack, and it can't be stolen that easily, I mean, sure, your PC could be stolen if someone breaks into your house, but that is a bit lesser chance, whereas if your mobile phone is stolen, that could be easier.

However, at the same time mobile could be going anywhere, you could be anywhere in the world and wouldn't have to carry your PC, if it is a desktop PC then it is already a very tough thing, but even at Laptop level, do you go everywhere with your laptop? Not many people do. Which means that mobile has a better advantage to be carried right in your pocket and that means a lot.
3327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: April 11, 2022, 10:34:20 PM
For me, the common or basic actions I am doing are via social media. Sharing some posts about Bitcoin, like how it works, and how it can help with our daily lives. Even memes about Bitcoin that you are sharing with social media are already a good move for me.
Another one is asking some businesses if they are accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment, by doing that, they will become curious what Bitcoin is and they will start to look on it.
This is the way, I mean you could talk about it seriously in every place you go to, but they will start to ignore you for sure. However, if you make it a life style in social media then you could influence a lot more people for sure. I know a lot of crypto influencers for example and they reach to people who are not in crypto world as well, they somehow find a way to get in, and get a lot of people from those places.

This means that they bring a ton of people into crypto as well. You do not have to be at influencer level, but you could definitely be doing alright with less and that is why I really like being in the crypto social media world myself.
3328  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 11, 2022, 10:03:07 PM
The fall was mainly caused by the high level of sell pressure. It means that there were ton of people or basically ton of money being sold on the market price for a long time and not giving buyers any chance to match that. This is a bit shady this time around, there are periods when it looks shady and not just what market believes.

If I believed that the market didn't had any trust that price would go up and that is why they sold which caused it to go down, I would understand it, but I feel like there could be some manipulation right now as well. This fall didn't looked like others, it looked a bit more fake and I am not sure if it will stay like this for too long.
3329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trade cryptocurrency with FX trading knowledge? on: April 11, 2022, 09:03:28 PM
I must admit that I'm truly a newbie in both trading and cryptocurrency at large. I took some courses on trading some months ago, those training were majorly on foreign exchange (trading currency pairs). I've not been able to perfect my strategies though, but I'm curious about cryptocurrency trading, would there be need to learn it specially or general trading knowledge can help in cryptocurrency trading: can I trade cryptocurrency with the knowledge I've acquired in Foreign exchange trading?
I have a friend who did this. He was in the finance world, got in during summer of 2017, when the price first got up, at the BCH fork period. Then he stayed here for a long time, up until around late 2020 he turned his 40k dollars into nearly one million dollars, which was already astounding, but then during 2020-2021 period when the price started to skyrocket, he turned that into few million dollars instead.

That is how he got rich and I believe that it is certainly an amazing achievement. All he had with him was his previous Forex trading knowledge, and he used those charts and TA to make this kind of profit in the crypto world as well.
3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Spikes 10% After News Of Musk's $3B Stake in Twitter on: April 11, 2022, 07:09:17 PM
It's just a fake pump and  all investers will regret. memes coins trend gone now look for current trend which is gaming and Metaverse. Some Apy project fair launch also give their early investor 10x above. After successful launch of Safuu project many projects are launching with this idea and most of them are being successful.
It is already down again. After the news, price went back to what it was during the march period already and doesn't look like it is any different from the general crypto market levels. Bitcoin is back to what it was and eth is too, and many others are too. Which is a proof that the spike we saw was a temporary one and nothing big.

If you really think that it was something a bit better, then you probably assumed crypto would do better as well. However, it was always clear to me that it wasn't a good thing and would never do well. Elon buying stake in Twitter has absolutely zero to do with doge, anyone who connected the dots, connected the wrong dots together.
3331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the criteria for choosing altcoin on: April 11, 2022, 06:30:49 PM
Before venturing into projects or making investments, there should be something that trigs you about the project which made you to venture into, is either their development, Usecase or prospect, secondly if their team members are reliable or not. Most at for those looking at network; is either on ETH network or BSC and any more.
For newly project could be a pump and dump so i will suggest he/she should go for already developed project such as; BTC, ETH, BNB, WAVES, MATIC these coin are very potential and also good for long-term run.
That is called "gut feeling" by many people, whatever you want to call it or name it if there is something that intrigues you about that project then I believe that it could be something decent. I am not saying that it is impossible to find something purely by checking mathematically, of course that could happen, like some projects RSI peaks your interest is a good enough reason as well.

But, no matter what the reason is, eventually you need to reach to a level where you need to study it very hard before you invest. If you do not know every single line of detail about that project, and if you learn about it after you invested, then it is going to be a problem.
3332  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 🦉 DRAKE x STAKE 🥩 - Watford FC & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 10, 2022, 05:53:32 PM
I'm only active in Stake contests while in DB not anymore I had a conflict a few months ago and have asked for account closure
Yes I usually miss some unworthy challenges but somehow yesterday i wanted to try it's true that the reward is still the same as last year
I won't try again any time unless there's an update e.g. the prize is doubled.
I am not entirely sure if it is a smart idea to completely close accounts based on rewards being little. I do not know if that was the reason or not, maybe it was some other reason because you just say conflict and nothing else so maybe it was something else. Stake does provide plenty of promotions and if you think that it is not going to be worthy then you can skip that one and get to another one and you could make money that way as well, or maybe lose that too.

It doesn't matter "which" promotion you participate, in the end you manage to make it all back one way or another and that is how it should be like, if you could somehow find one like once a month, that is good enough.
3333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex crypto stocks commodities wich one ? on: April 10, 2022, 02:33:36 PM
Forex crypto commodities stocks wich one of them are most easy to manipulate ?wich one of them can be not influenced by whales ? Or all of them influenced by whales?
Whales are everywhere; you cannot escape. Because, we are witnessing pump and dump happening on every market; traders who are into commodities or forex markets will never complain about manipulations with cryptocurrency trading. Probably stock markets may not have regular manipulation due to various regulation kind of restrictions still pumps and dumps do happen there as well.

I’ve traded almost every market except maybe Soy beans, pork, bonds, yields, etc and what I’ve learnt is that almost every market is manipulated. Whether it’s big or small. It doesn’t matter.
Yes, whales are too smart to convince rest of traders to support them for pumps and dumps. For example, they will pump till resistance-1 and after testing most traders will expect return back of trend but whales will pump till resistance-2 then most traders will assume about change of trend and will pump toward resistance-3 but in-between whales book profits by trapping everyone else. This is just one scenario where how whales exist on every market and we cannot understand their goals always in any market.
3334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding "When" to trade. on: April 09, 2022, 02:35:20 PM
I think it is also important to set trading limits for your trading habits. The trading fees add up and people really don't understand this, they end up going back and forth 10x a day in trades. With a 0.2% trading fee, that would be 2% loss per day and 60% per month. For example, I do not trade more than once a day because of this. And to be honest, even once a day is too much as you lose 6% on fees in a month like that.

At that point it might be better to hodl.
If you calculate the trading fee into your profit beforehand, then you should be doing fine. I had a friend who used a bot that did profit no matter how much, like even if it was 1 satoshi profit, it was still a profit and it calculated the trading fee as well, so even though he did thousands of trades in a single day because of the small "sell as soon as it is in profit" method, he still paid a ton of trading fee and never had any problems considering it calculated that in.

The only reason he stopped was the fact that he made good profit but not great, whereas when he bought something that went down, he had to keep it for way too long and lost a lot if he wanted to get out.
3335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2022 Conference on: April 09, 2022, 12:33:03 PM
These type of places are very important for crypto, it allows people to actually follow up on what is going on around the world and it does provide people meeting up with other people and how they could connect and build things together or merge their powers together etc etc. It also allows people to realize their dreams, either achieve them or even maybe realize that they can't do it because someone else tried or failed and gives a good reason.

Moreover, it is always good for people who participate, you do not have to, it is not a must, but if you do, I am sure that it does bring a level of benefits to people who go there and meet with people, that is what this is, a great networking method.
3336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian individuals are using crypto to bypass sanctions on: April 09, 2022, 08:29:58 AM
As for payments in roubles, they made export companies to sell 80% of foreign currency got with export revenue before plans on selling anything for roubles. So the difference between 80% and 100% is not so big. Yes, it helps with the rouble rates but it is far from market situation.

Main problem for government for bypassing sanctions with crypto is not only that it can destroy the money value of rouble, it can be hardly done as Russia is a big country with a huge import volume. Even if it can get enough crypto for trading (which is hard by itself as all amount of crypto holded by Russians is just about 100-130 billions of USD according prime minister Mishustin) it is impossible to import such volumes of goods into the country unnoticed.
Russia is basically going for the short term solutions and that is not a bad thing when you are a whole nation in war because during the war times you could have radical short term solutions. In the end, we are going to have something that will be a bit more at ease and people will like it for sure.

What we need to realize is that the best thing we can do right now is to keep the sanctions against Russia, keep putting more money in renewable energy which will not only allow nations to be energy independent and not need sources from Russia but also it would help the climate as well, then hope that the war doesn't go for long and threaten Russia with these.
3337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: April 09, 2022, 05:15:48 AM
The trend of bitcoin thirst is very difficult to explain the phenomena that will occur in the next 3 years. Especially in terms of value. Based on the simulation that the supply becomes much more limited at the halving after that, the current 19Mxxx will be as a supply/demand rule. A simple analogy for that, $430k in 2025 is possible
Do not rely your investment based on some simulations. I am not saying that it will happen, but I can't really say it won't happen neither. That is the biggest difference. Some people make sure that they invest into things that will make some profit in the long run and then focus on that, but if you think that it will be 430k, and it won't be that much in few years after the halving, then you will be disappointed and may end up selling.

There were ton of people like that in 2020 as well, after the halving it didn't move from 10k to 20k that quickly and then got stuck at 20k and dropped and it took time to break that, we did that in December, from May to December many people got disappointed with the results and sold, do not be like them.
3338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding new exchange tokens on: April 08, 2022, 10:16:48 PM
This is a very good token but at present BNB chin is very popular and I like FTM and Matic chain this is a very good chin for the long term we will get good something.
BNB, FTM and Matic are coins that already have a very strong network and chain, so there is no need to doubt whether it will be good or not, because they have proven to be good and become strong in the market through the large number of enthusiasts and fans of them at this time.
Doesn't mean that they will continue to be great. I mean BNB could be great because it has other incomes aside from itself, Binance is making constant profit and constantly burning it causing it to worth something and they could spend their millions, even billions into making it into something amazing and that is awesome for them.

However, FTM and Matic doesn't have that constant income as far as I know and that seems to be the key point here. I do not think that it would really mean anything at all, I believe that we should be not trusting coins just because they are high right now, crypto world seen so many projects be in top 10 or top 20 and then slowly but gradually drop a lot.
3339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 NFT Games You Should Be Looking Forward To on: April 08, 2022, 09:20:41 PM
There are some more into development that could replace these games but axie infinity has grown to wide range and at big level so it will go on for long term. The benefits of axie infinity are utility and player engagement through different moves of cards and you have to make plans to win it not like simple P2E game without any use.The next series of game might bring good usecase for players. So looking forward for them.
Axie could go long term if they keep doing what they have been doing, but they just got a hacking situation going on, and SLP have been going down a lot and earning money there right now is nearly impossible, it is just not happening right now. They could start their "origin" game and maybe that will be better, maybe the game will look better but I do not think that it will be a long term thing.

I believe that there will be some 3D good looking game that will come out and make a lot of money for people. My friend "tested" something and literally built a better game connected to web3 and crypto token that he created, and that was just testing. Imagine how amazing games companies can build if my friend can build something better than axie while just testing. So the future holds many great games for sure.
3340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donating With Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 08:38:36 PM
Donating with bitcoin is very convenient and we can donate from anywhere in the world, it's good that bitcoin is doing things that fiat can't.
However, many governments still see bitcoin as an enemy, accusing BTC of being a tool for criminals to use. After going through the Russia and Ukraine war, they will be ashamed of their accusations against bitcoin earlier.
perhaps after the Russian war Ukraine passed most likely the government will return to its habitat, the government will again antagonize bitcoin and accuse bitcoin, now that countries are at war they can accept bitcoin donations and switch to bitcoin to avoid sanctions.
That is what they make their money from. I can talk about only a few countries but let's take the USA for example because we all know them. They will act as if that is a good thing right now because we use it to donate to Ukraine, and that is not a bad thing, that is actually quite good but even during this period they used "Russians are bypassing sanctions using crypto" as a bad evil thing.

So, even during a good time, they could use this like it is some bad thing and that is a big problem. I have to say that the biggest reason they will come back is the fact that wall street may tell them to shut bitcoin off, not completely because it can't be done, but at least harsh regulations to make it a difficult thing.
