3361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC will go to $15, $25 + on: July 05, 2013, 07:48:36 AM
We will see a huge rise in LTC soon, especially when LTC hits Mt.Gox.

If it was going to be $15, $25 etc after it hits mt gox......then it'd already be close to whatever figure you predict.
3362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oz Exchange? Is the demand there? on: July 05, 2013, 07:23:15 AM

Why would the banks close business accounts if they were involved in trading bitcoin?  Unless that's explicitly against the ToS for the account they have no basis for closing accounts - it's not like crypto currencies have been deemed illegal - as far as they'd be concerned I'd be involved in a business of virtual goods like any other.

I've had this discussion many a time with people who've tried, and each time they act exactly like you right up until their bank accounts have been closed.

In fact unlike the US our laws allow for private citizens to exchange goods by whatever means all parties agree on, and people even have the rights not to accept government issued currency. Hence if private citizens get too carried away with these ideas then unlike the US the banks have no protection.

So their best protection is to close the accounts of anyone exchanging non fiat for fiat, which despite your protest it is perfectly legal for them to do so.

And everyone that happens too bitches they have no right, they can't do this, I''l fight this.....and the usual bs.

Are the banks scared of cryptos.....hell yeah...representitives from all the major banks spent much of last month in silicon valley, to come to terms with all the new forms of internet currencies.

Pool : http://66.172.10.55:19337/static/

it's working properly again
You are welcome to mine

my little 20kh/s would never get a share in there atm Sad

I mine with 25kh/s and get about 3.4 SXC per payout Smiley

By the way, you should add +0.00002382 to your username (SXC address) to adjust the share difficulty for a lower hash rate. Should not make any difference regarding the payout but gives you a constant share rate.

you're lucky anyone say over 500 kh/s joins the pool and I can't even get more then the odd share in, so no payouts, the idea behind pool mining is to help those who can't solo mine join forces.

XXXXXX: @MicroGuy: MAN you was ment to be making coin cap smaller not bigger lol

MicroGuy: @XXXXX: there is currently no coin cap

kelsey: @MicroGuy: rip goldcoin

MicroGuy: @XXXXXX: currently coin output is infinite

kelsey: @MicroGuy: are u really that stupid microguy

3365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oz Exchange? Is the demand there? on: July 04, 2013, 12:54:07 PM

I'd like to know if there is a demand in Australia for a local crypto exchange.

And the chance of having one last more then a few weeks/months is almost zero, already knowing the outcome to many many previous attempts Smiley

Can you provide some links for information about this?

Why do you think one doesn't exist? Though quite a few have tried, and the current few that trade btc as a business do it via manual bank deposits giving the bank no connection to the btc trade.

You use any Aus bank to trade cryptos for fiat as a business, its not if but when all your associated bank accounts will be closed.

3368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MicroGuy scams YouTubers!!! on: July 03, 2013, 11:59:17 PM

Anyway, MicroGuy has seemed to change his attitude, let's wait and see his next move

oh so even his followers conclude this was a scam.

Caught out and now saying to his blind followers he has changed  Roll Eyes lol go figure
3369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Challenging gldcoins microguy to a deal on: July 03, 2013, 05:11:15 AM
He's changed his attitude, leave him alone now

Alright for him to try and sucker people in with his outrageous claims, but where is he now when I ask him to put his money where his mouth is at merely 1/10th the level of his claims?

He made outragous claims, I'm calling him out, of course he's suddenly changed his attidude, how gullible are people.

3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Challenging gldcoins microguy to a deal on: July 03, 2013, 05:08:00 AM
How would you enforce these shenanigans?

Quite easy to enforce actually, and its not the first time such has been done on this forum. I can get it organised in a way both parties would be happy with.

3372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][LTC] Online Litecoin wallet - LTC-Wallet.com on: July 02, 2013, 10:41:22 AM
Please, every honest soul, read it.

I'm an unemployed person and I have 90% disability. I can't work for my living because of my disability. I've used to be a trucker before that terrible accident that put me into wheelchair. LTC was my last hope. I took all my savings and deposited it to ltc-wallet. Now that scammer stole everything I had. I have no means to pay my bills. I don't know how to continue. I even don't have money to buy food!

Please. I know there're good and honest people around here. I was a good worker and I worked half of my life for the well-being of this country. If you hear me, please give me a chance to get out of this unfortunate situation and donate some LTC to:

LYGdrwspUa8zPMBHBvjpb97WiBV1pqyQYC

Thank you and may the God bless your way.

I hope I don't come across as unconsiderate but did anyone else get the feeling after reading this it did not come across as genuine ?

I kept it to myself but definitely. When I read it my first thought was "if the money was that important to you and you were really in this situation, why would you be stupid enough to give it away to someone else?" I have really big doubts anyone would really do something that ridiculous.

Yes, to me it seems like a fake story, but there is a slight chance it is true :S

About the same chance that this thread wasn't started by a scammer.

So much dumb here it scares me.  Like you guys actually gave your litecoins to a random annoymous guy on the internet because he said he'd pay 12% interest...like wtf?

3374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Challenging gldcoins microguy to a deal on: July 02, 2013, 01:59:18 AM
Well I've heard Microguy on these threads and youtube videos making all sorts of claims about the future of cryptocurrencies and his gldcoin.

I give him the opportunity to put his money where his month is when it comes to his claims.

This morning (my time) he was claiming gldcoin will surpass litecoin within 2 years.

I'd like to see you Microguy backup these statements with something more then just words and youtube videos.

So I'll make you a deal Microguy I'll 2 years from today trade you 100000 gldcoin for just 10000 litecoin (ie I give you 100000 gldcoin and you give me 10000 litecoin).

Now this is more then reseaonable as I'll only be recieving from you 1/10th the amount you're claiming gldcoin will be worth.

So are you willing to man up and backup your claims with more then just your keyboard?
3375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: July 01, 2013, 04:44:41 PM
We are all here to make profit.

speak for yourself.

some people are actually here to make a decent usable cryptocurrency, and to have it actually work as a currency (well its actually what the forum was foundered on), well then you kinda don't need all these here that are in it to make a profit.

no crypto will work as a proper currency if its not stable.

dam now thats your scam microguy, lower the difficulty to mine millions, drive the price down on cryptsy to bag a heap then sell them to the unsuspecting public for several times the cryptsy price for cash via paypal?

You do realize the difficulty is calculated using an algorithm right?
We can't lower or raise the difficulty at will.
There's nothing wrong with selling at a premium, not everyone has a way to get money into Cryptsy.

yes we know u hardforked it.
