3361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 22, 2021, 11:24:23 AM
Bitcoin could have dropped to $20k but I hope this doesn't happen.
I don't see any reason for us to be pessimistic about bitcoin going down to the 20k quagmire?  We have gone through many FUDs with china, carbon power, grayscale, ... all progress supported by user base at 28k-30k resistance like previous dumping.  I believe in bitcoin's long-term super profit, I believe that the true believers and hardliners at this stage will see the green soon.

But this kind of FUD will still continue no matter what and we all know that this market is full fo manipulators that will do everything to pull the price down, so it's going to be a battle between the bulls and the bears. So far though, the bears has the obvious upper hand because we are down now like -50% from last all time high.

Long term though is a different story, just remember that last March the price is around $4k, and now we are in $32k. So in a span of more than a year our investments grow X times.
3362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anti scammers on: July 22, 2021, 10:42:56 AM
What do you plan to do exactly though? Also, would you be able to create that wallet on your own, although it will probably take time to make it look realistic and it also sounds fishy that you are asking for an address that has done transactions because that seems to me can work for scammers too.

I don't have the money to make a bitcoin wallet just to make a few transactions seem realistic, I want the wallet to be unused, I will put it in the veracrypt encrypted file with a weak password, and another veracrypt file with a strong password, 64 characters all set , to never decrypt it just to waste time and money, I hope to rent powerful servers and not discover anything, so a wallet that has some transactions and is only used is the bait.
I'm not like Jim Browning, I'm a beginner.
I commented on this post in his (Jim Browning) youtube channel under my full name, so ...

And what will you accomplished here? why not instead of trying to learn how to protect your bitcoin addresses and all crypto related, focus on this thing?

In any case, I don't think that someone will provide you here with a wallet, like that.

The only reason that I can of why you are doing this is to record this one and upload to Youtube?

Anyways, best of luck to you.
3363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 22, 2021, 09:56:11 AM
Is there an odds already for this match? I was just wondering which has the higher odds. I think I will go on pacquiao to match even though there is an age difference pacquiao has an advantage in terms of experience from the previous match of pacquiao i see that he still have the agility and reflexes, one thing is for sure... this is gonna be a great match.

If you go back a few pages, boxing fans know that Pacquiao will be the clear underdog here because he is facing one of the best welterweights right now. So don't be surprised if the line open as Pacquiao as the underdog.

Of course Pacquiao still has it, that's why he wanted to face Spence and prove that again. He might be old but he can still go with the best of them. If you are a crypto bettor, better wait for the lines as it could be a good win for us if we bet early.

It is already available in sportsbet, fortunejack, betfury and betja. The odds are in favor of Spence but if you are a Pacquiao fan, it is good to bet right now as the odds are at 2.65-3.0. We don't know if it will go down once the fight is about to happen. Indeed! This is for me worth watching as who knows, this may be the last fight of the boxing legend Pacquiao? We always want to see a toe-to-toe fight, not a boring one.

As per sportsbet.io

Spence = 1.43
Pacquiao = 2.65

So that's a huge gap in the betting odds, but then again, we all know that Pacquaio is a live underdog here similar to the Thurman fight.

But no other betting options so far, it's just ML. I'm sure boxing bettors are looking for more choice, like per round etc. I'm tempting to put money on Pacquiao with that very attractive odds.
3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 22, 2021, 09:09:21 AM

Milwaukee Bucks, always a good contender in the Eastern Conference every season that always failed in their playoffs run. I even pointed out it here before that they choke at some of their playoffs series (notably against the Toronto Raptors 2019 Eastern Conference Finals wherein after leading a 2-0 lead, they lost 4 in a row).

Lots of rumors since then that Giannis might search for a new home but decided to stay and trust the process. Instead, the Bucks find a way to surround the duo of Giannis and Middleton with good role players.

The effort has now paid off and they are now enjoying their Larry O'Brien championship trophy which they acquire right at their home court!
It's true. Bucks management provided the players for Giannis and he didn't let them down. Both offensive and defensive end he dominated putting the Bucks to a winning position. Chase down blocks. Wooh! We will see a lot of that in his highlight reels.
I am glad that their bench players also steeped up. Bobby Portis with 16 points for 23 minutes, every time Giannis rests he will contribute.
Pat Connaughton, no points but 8 important rebounds in game and some of them are offensive rebounds that helped close the game.
Their strong and didn't need to outscore anyone, just do what you can. That's good chemistry for me.

Who will forgot Bobby Portis contributions? he is a crowd favourite in Milwaukee now. Pat Connaughton outside shooting is also a big help for them. And he is also a very tough defender and good rebounder.

And then the key to the piece is getting Jrue Holiday, again big gamble of their part, but it really paid off. The team for sure will still be intact and will defend their championship next year. For sure the West teams wanted to get back on the East. So Lakers, Clippers, Suns will come out strong next year.

I also lost yesterday, it was the under bet between Dere vs Bergs match. I though Dere has it in the bag and that my bet could be a W. Unfortunately, it went to 3rd set. Dere though eventually won the match, but extending it to 3 sets.

Casper Ruud vs D. Novak now in the first set, I have Ruud winning here, but I haven't put any bet yet. String of losses for me in this tournament already.
3366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Data Reveals Bitcoin Mining is Now Friendlier to the Environment on: July 21, 2021, 12:28:38 PM
I think even before the Chinese shutting down the Chinese miners, bitcoin has been friendlier to the environment. There are a lot of studies since 2017 that really debunked the whole "bitcoin mining is causing harm to the environment".

And now that we have this new data in 2021, for sure it only goes to show that those who are using this sort of arguments against bitcoin is totally wrong in the beginning.
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can prediction results affect the actual market? on: July 21, 2021, 10:21:04 AM
I've been thinking that now there are many market prediction projects. I'm using X predict market for example.

People will be able to somehow know the market anticipation in advance. Like will the price of btc rise or decrease?

That's possible, you can used technical analysis to understand how the market will move. But this is just tool and it's not 100% accurate.

But this information might change participators' choices again, how should we adjust our strategy according to this kind of information?

As I have said, it is not an exact science, so obviously, when the market moves on the opposite direction, you should also adjust your strategy to deal with this kind of information. As for how you are going to adjust, it's really up to you. Stop-loss for one.
3368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 21, 2021, 09:35:30 AM
I’ll give them a pass on the exhibitions because they probably weren’t giving it their best effort while their opponents likely considered it the game of their lives. The bottom line is that the US team has Kevin Durant so anything less than the gold would be upsetting. I think the next year could lead to a Durant gold medal, NBA MVP, and Finals MVP.

Golden Slam? (sorry if I used a tennis term here).

But I agree though, it was just an exhibitions and they weren't giving their best. You don't want to get to get injured at worst in this kind of exhibition matches.

Although it's not that strong as compare to other US Olympic team roster, but they can still tear apart other nations even if they have a NBA player themselves. I don't think that Durant would want to see a team which he leads settles for the bronze in this Olympics.
3369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 21, 2021, 08:53:22 AM
^^ Good for you. I'll probably look for the Shapovalov vs Kopriva match.

Probably a -4.5 handicap can be cover by Shapovalov and the risk is much lower.

Djere vs Bergs already happening as of now, Djere is the favorite to win but I'll pass on this match. I'm not that familiar with those names, specially Bergs.

I put a small bet on this match, under 20.5. I think Djere can win this one with scores of 6-4, 6-4.

He is leading the first set, have an early break, 2-1 now he is serving. I do hope though that he can hold serve here, as Bergs is coming back strong.

Edit: Bergs did return and break him, score is 2-2 now, and he is serving.
3370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 21, 2021, 08:07:12 AM
Still rooting for the Bucks in 6
And I'm just right on what the outcome would be. Well, they are the set of brother now to win an NBA title at same time with the same team, that's a history to be engraved.

Well, Giannis deserve that Finals MVP. He joins with Jordan and Olajuwon with the only NBA players having MVP for regular season, a DPOY, and a Finals MVP. That's for sure a GOAT in the present.

Yeah, at least for those young NBA fans, this could really be history in the making. Damn, 50 point game performance in a close out game, that's one of the history books. Last year there where news that Giannis might leave the Bucks after this season. But I doubt that it will going to happen.

The addition of Jrue Holiday was really a big decision for them, trading players and giving up draft picks. But it's a gamble that they have won, because they clinch another title after 50 years. For sure, they wanted the team to be intact next year, and hopefully stay healthy and defend the title.
3371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 19, 2021, 10:01:30 AM
The Finals moved back to Arizona, where the home team tried to react to an ugly double defeat that has dampened enthusiasm and taken away certainties. The Bucks were gonna be called upon not to waste the positive energy of the two home victories. So far we're facing a series more balanced than we thought previously here.

Yes, but in the game 5, the homecourt advantage didn't hold. The series seems to be boring in the beginning because it seems that the Suns are going to sweep the Bucks. But the narrative has change, Bucks has now the momentum in this series and can become the champion next game.

What happened then? The Suns, back in Phoenix, lost again! It was a spectacular game 5 where the Big 3 dominated: Giannis with 32 points, Middleton with 29 and Holiday with 27.
Now the Bucks truly can win their first ring in 50 years!

What a timing for the Big 3 to show up. It was the critical game for Bucks and it's about time to show their teeth and that's what they do, Holiday steal the ball assists to Giannis for a slam plus a foul, he missed it but got the offensive rebound and tap it to Middleton. Khris then hit 1 of 2 in the line but it was enough to give them a 4 point lead.
3372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 19, 2021, 09:10:23 AM
I think any athlete, even a beginner, understands that at a certain moment it is necessary to change the source of income simply for the reason that time, strength and health are running out. Since he already has a name in world sports, he may not worry about a complete loss of income.
As for political ambitions, this is a conversation about amounts of a different order, here you have to think not about making money but about sponsors who will support you and your political ideas.
This man name Manny Pacquiao know how to make other income by using his talent and capability to sustain their family needs and luxuries I think and to funds one of his biggest ambition which is to run in the highest position in a country the presidency. But it seems that the odds favor to him today is quite small than the odds of betting of his past fight maybe its because he is much older to consider but who knows that this man could still perform well. I bet that the fan of Manny Pacquiao is excited for this.

In fact, I am also glad that I will be able to see another fight of this great boxer, but I strongly doubt the justification of such earnings. In the end, a few major defeats at the end of a career can ruin the overall impression of a boxer, even one as great as Pacquiao. If he wins this fight, it will be a big surprise for everyone.

Well that could be true, but history will be the judge if Pacquiao could be in the Mt. Rushmore of boxing or not. For now we have seen his legendary ascend to the top, specially when he was at his prime destroying bigger man than him. But now since he is already on the twilight of his career and others may argue that he should be retiring by now, he is still fighting for his legacy. No doubt that a win against Spence here will just make him look for more lucrative fights in the horizon. Maybe Terrence Crawford is next. And then he will be judge after his retirement and what legacy he has left in the boxing world.

I already lock in my bet for the Delbonis vs Busta, over 22.5 @1.89.

I think this will be a classic thriller, both are really pretty much playing amazing, have come back victories in the brink of a loss. Hard to see who will win that's why I go with the over here. There could be sets wherein there will be a tie-break so that's already 13 totals.
Yeah its a pretty good bet both with stunning performance even if i saw that delbonis had more strugle in this tournament especially in the last game but he still got the win after been down one set and that will give him more motivation i think that we will see three sets in this game.

Lost my bet on Delbonis vs Busta. Yes, I have predicted that there will be a tie break and it did happen, but in the second set, it was only 6-3 so totals is just 22.

For the finals, I think I will go with Krajinovic ML here, he is really playing high level tennis and full of confidence after he beat Tsitsipas. He is the underdog so a money line will be a good bet.

I didnt bet on Delbonis v Carreno Busta, I some of the games in the first set,
Delbonis was playing well but obviously Carreno Busta was able to get on top.

Very interesting final now with Krajinovic v Carreno Busta, really too close to call,
I think i'll go with the slight favourite Carreno Busta

I think Carreno Bustas experience in the final stages of tournaments will help
him through, for what thats worth.

I was wrong again, as others have said, Krajinovic was pretty much done in the first set alone.

As if he is just cruising, his aggressiveness is not there against Tsitsipas.

First ATP for Carreno-Busta and won't be the last for sure, he could be one day contend for any clay court tournament moving forward.
3374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anything particular causing these declines? on: July 18, 2021, 12:47:18 PM
It's not just Musk. Any economic and financial events may have an impact. I know that the recent policy that the People's Bank of China should make is aimed at virtual currencies, which obviously has a great impact on the market.

But we should be hopeful that as China is making laws against it some countries are beginning to adopt cryptocurrency like Vietnam, El Salvador . This will help to bring the price up again because of demand to covert Fiat go btc and hodl.

China is a different story, they have been FUD'ing the bitcoin market since 2017.

While the latest new of El Salvador is really very welcoming for all of us.

Elon Musk is irrelevant now, he has no longer have that influence like he did in the beginning.

The latest is that about the GBTC unlocking today if I'm not mistaken, but that news seems to have only a little effect on the price. Lows of $30k has been seen, but we have recovered.
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Charlo vs Castano - July 17 on: July 18, 2021, 11:36:09 AM
The way I see it, Charlo let Castano dominate him in the ring. What by I mean by that is that he is just sitting on the corner and let Castano swing on him all night. There was a time that he was caught and almost fell and knock down. The bad thing is that Castano doesn't have a huge punch, so what he did is volume puncher and he has a solid chin as well.

I agree with the decision that it should be a draw, Charlo didn't left his hands go, it was only in the last 3 rounds. And it seems that Castano has gas out already that's why he was able to take advantage of that championship rounds.

If there will be re-match very soon. I think, I will go for Castano the next time around. Since both boxers know each other already inside the ring. They will know the strategies how to defeat each other. But it would be a challenge for Charlo, so he may really want the re-match to be on his favor. Let us see if they will arrange the re-match very soon.

I do hope that we will have a rematch soon. The ending was very controversial indeed, specially on how one judges score a lopsided victory for Castano. I think Charlo over estimated Castano here, not saying that he didn't train for this fight, but he was surprised by how Castano becomes so aggressive that he needs to cover the majority of the fight and that's where Castano stole some very close round in the early part of the match. He is lucky that he got a draw, it might have been a big upset and he would have lost all his belt if not for that one judge who score it 114-114. I didn't see Charlo winning though, I think Castano in my book is the winner in this very close fight.
3376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and GBTC premium on: July 18, 2021, 10:24:34 AM
According to cointelegraph the unlock take place today:

Sunday, July 18, is of particular interest, with that day’s unlocking worth just over 16,000 BTC.

My guess it that any sell pressure (if any) will be eaten by those who sold before this event to trade it. Its how market works. Buy rumours sell facts. After unlock there will be nothing more to worry about. We will begin Taproot activation narrative and fomo (activation take place mid-November 2021).

Yes, we just need to be patient and not to panic and wait till this is over. I think the sell pressures happened when the price reaches $31k, but then we are now recovering just a hundreds of dollars. Might be good to see $32k tomorrow.

And once this is completed, there will be no selling pressures and on the contrary, many should be buying because the price is cheap at $31k-$32k. So just a little patience or our part and we are good to go again.

That first quarter was something to see. You got a glimpse of the Suns at their full potential. Giannis is just too much for them though. Ayton does a good job but he’s just not enough. I think the Suns have been playing great and this has no doubt been their best season since 1993, but with their back to the wall and the Bucks heading home it doesn’t look good…
Yeah, not to rub it in though, they have been shouting for "Suns in 4", but now they are the one who's back is against the wall. But it's not yet over, although their chances are slim right now. They have to go to the road and win to force a decider to their home court.

I really thought that they are going to win because they took a huge lead in the first and they are very good at protecting it. Unfortunately, this is the first game that Bucks big 3 has scored 20++ points in a game if I'm not mistaken. Giannis getting his first MVP in the finals if they are going to win in their home court in game 6.

On the contrary, it will be the Bucks who are going to sweep them in next game. After losing the first 2 games, now they've won the last 3 and could make it 4 and a sweep.

That defensive gem of Holiday though, they know that Booker will be taking the ball so he reads it early and double team him. And that lob pass to Giannis is perfect. Booker though has another 40 point game and Paul and Ayton did their thing. But it wasn't enough, as Giannis was really unstoppable inside the paint, getting fouled, although missing free throws, but it was their total effort in the defense and their composure in the last minutes, specially when Suns are coming back that gave them this huge pivotal win.
3379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 17, 2021, 10:31:46 AM
^^ That is also a safe bet, but I put a bigger risk and seeing that the Delbonis vs Carreno-Busta will go on a 3 sets marathon match.

I also have Krajinovic at (-1.5) for the win against Dere @1.84, decent odds and very attractive not to take. The match will start in about 1 hour from now, so hopefully it will be a good start for us tennis bettors.

2018 ATH passed and went 3x 65000USD to BITCOIN. Now we again expecting to go 100,000 and 130000. I think its useless point now. its better to wait 2025. just accumulate usdt and ready for 2025.

I don't know what do you mean by wasting money here. Everyone is in the crypto market to make more money and investing today might be the correct way. And why would we accumulate USDT? doesn't make sense unless your are hedging your bitcoin.

Better approach would be just to continue to accumulate it, and then sell to make profit and as you have said be ready for 2025, at least by the time, you should have 1 BTC thru stacking sats.
