Tsitsipas vs Khachanov - under 22.5 @1.81
Rublev vs Isner = under 23.5 @1.86

Have a different choice than you do for these two match
Karen Khachanov - Stefanos Tsitsipas over 9.5 in first set, I think this match will be very tight, hopefully the first set will last until the tie break or at least 6-4
Rublev vs Isner over 23.5 their last meeting was in three sets so this time probably same.

You two is 1-1 on your predictions, so I guess it all break even in your bet.
Yes 1-1 for the two matches I mentioned, this is why I place single bets more often because if one match doesn't go as predicted it will not mess up all bets and there is a possibility to get a win on the other bet.

I think this is a bit strange for the J. Isner vs G. Monfils match, Isner is the favorite to win in this match at least on the bookies I bet, even though if look at H2H Monfils is lead and also he is seed 11 in this tournament, I mean it's rare to find something like this.

Yeah, at least we did take a W on a single bet, and I did get it with a 2 set prediction both match. Rublev though lost his match against Isner. Monfils vs Isner match, it's really intriguing match up, anyone of them can really have a good and bad night specially Monfils we simply lost his touch lately. Isner is the favourite is this game, hard to predict but it could go on a 3 setter marathon match for this two.

With the development of more gaming sites with more consensus to reward gamers so many of the NFTs will in the future look into this new trend that allows users to play computer games and get rewarded without having to stake money, they get paid for the skills in playing computer games.
NFT's are making so much noise for the past few months as new games that enables players to earn crypto keeps on showing up. The one leading right now is Axie Infinity and it is so much evident that it is a very profitable game and the growth within the number of players has been massive to the point that the game experiences bugs and needed a lot of maintenance to ensure the quality and the stability of the game as they accomodate more players. NFTs are promising and we can see more development and growth in the future specially with those who are leading the game right now.

Axie Infinity is different though, it is the prime movers that's why it has gain so much in the last couple of months. I myself have seen Axie from the beginning, but I'm not interested, however, I was surprised by the massive growth.

For NFT's, I'm not sure if there is crypto related gambling platform, or at least you will be rewarded by playing it. The only way to earn thru NFT is to have your own art released and have someone buy it as a collection or something.

It's cool mate that we have a different choice, yeah I think it can go either way obviously, I think the winner between Khachanov vs Tsitsipas will be two setter same with the Rublev vs Isner match.

So goodluck to your bet, I might do some live betting as well to see how the match is progressing. But for now I'm going to stick on my bet.
3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 12, 2021, 10:54:19 AM
After the big contract renewal with Kevin Durant (4 years, $198 million), the Brooklyn Nets are also working on contract extensions with James Harden and Kyrie Irving.
According to ESPN's Bobby Marks reports, James Harden can get a $161 million max salary contract over 3 years, from the 2023-2024 season.  While Kyrie Irving can also aim for a renewal at the maximum salary, $186.6 million over 4 years, but from the 2022-2023 season.
Last season, the Brooklyn Nets made it all the way to the Conference Semifinals in the Playoffs, eliminated by the champion Milwaukee Bucks.  The team has had to deal all season with injuries (Durant, Harden and Irving).  The true potential of the Nets has so far remained hidden, but with an improved supporting cast, and superstars ready to embrace the cause in the long run, they are a strong candidate to win the next NBA title.
Last season, we've seen a lot of injuries all throughout the whole playoffs and it kinda like dictates who will win the series.
If there is a superstar on a team that is injured, chances of them losing is high.

Injuries are inevitable we know that and that happened to the Big 3 of the Nets that is why they came short into the playoffs and they got defeated by the complete roster Bucks. I don't know if they will apply this but they might put some load management on some of their superstar players like what they did to Kawhi when he is in the Clippers just because these 3 superstars of the Nets are prone to injuries (except for Durant maybe since he didn't get injured in the playoffs) but if they will play all throughout the playoffs this upcoming season, we might see them in the NBA Finals. Right now, they are still on the top on the bets of winning a championship.

They are very close defeating the Bucks last season if not for Durant's long feet, remember the 3? well he was stepping so it only counts as 2 points and go for another overtime which eventually they lost. Harden was injured that time, was afraid to take the shots.

Still a big gamble on the Nets side though, they acquire this big 3 to get a ring in at least 3 years. First year was a failure already, so let's see if in the last 2 years if they can accomplished something otherwise the gamble didn't paid off.
3365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 12, 2021, 07:44:53 AM
I'm an MMA enthusiast but I don't see the fight as exciting.

If they will come back at the octagon, that's more exciting and not just what we can call an exhibition match. But I agree that it was Triller so they will arrange fights and matches that are not expected.

On the other hand, I like the main card between DelaHoya and Belfort because that was an official fight and it will be listed on the professional record.

Is this true? the Dela Hoya vs Belfort will be a full boxing and professional rule? I thought the commission or whatever governing body that approved it says that it will be an exhibition match?

Nevertheless, I'm also not excited for this event, all for the business and that those retired MMA fighters can still earn some decent money in this pandemic. But I doubt that either of the 3 will make a come back fight in the Octagon, but then again if the price is right then why not.

A. Karatsev vs. K. Khachanov - over 22.5
A. Rublev vs. F. Fognini - over 21.5
I took the same two bets, both matches should go to the third set and pass our margin easy. Opted for over games since I don't like any bets on favorites today. Harris should be able to win against Lopez without much trouble if keeps his recent levels. Took him to win 2:0.

My predictions were perfect this time, Karatsev vs Khachanov = 23.0 and Rublev vs. Fognini = 22.0, Isner vs Garin = 29.0.

Lets see if I can continue my winning streak. I will take a risk and go for the under this time, single bet again.

Tsitsipas vs Khachanov - under 22.5 @1.81
Rublev vs Isner = under 23.5 @1.86

^^ Still a loss though whatever angle you look at it, what he will be getting in Celtics is way below what the Lakers has offered to him, which he gladly turn down. Of course, he has one year to proved it in Boston, but I doubt that they are going to offer him the same as what he is looking before. Yeah, maybe $10 million based on his performance, or worst they will drop him if perform way below expectations again.
3368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 11, 2021, 11:33:54 AM
Today nadal withdrawn from toronto atp due to a left foot injury the same injury that prevented him from playing in wimbeldon and the olympics and it seems that he is in a difficult situation this year since he lost rolland garros and maybe now he cant participate in us open too and if so djokovic will have a more bigger chance to win all grand slams this year.
I found the news here, maybe his decision to withdraw from this tournament because want it accelerated his recovery so he could still play at the US Open.

For today's match, I think the following matches will be quite tight:
A. Rublev vs. F. Fognini
A. Karatsev vs. K. Khachanov
J. Isner vs. C. Garin

Yeah, this are all interesting match to watch as it can go either way, the best bet for me here is over/under and possible that the match can be extended to 3 sets. I will heed majority of the calls not to do multi betting.

A. Karatsev vs. K. Khachanov - over 22.5
A. Rublev vs. F. Fognini - over 21.5
J. Isner vs. C. Garin - over 24.5

For those who wanted to know how much this athletes are getting from their government for winning the gold medals?

For example Hidilyn Diaz will received $600,000 and then 2 houses and free flight for lifetime.

But other nations are getting way more incentives than that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqY2ZuvuEiM

This is great. In Croatia, the athletes are receiving a little less than 30.000 euro for gold medals, 17.500 for silver and 12.000 for bronze. That is really peanuts compared to what most of the other countries are giving, even the ones with lower life standards like Serbia and Kosovo.

I'm actually really surprised that our athletes don't perform for other countries. Some of them did and we were really quick to paint them as national traitors but I actually support any that make a career choice that is away from Croatia.

Perhaps other nations, who haven't got any golds or at least hasn't perform in their last Olympics, government are giving them a huge incentives so that it will motivate them to really give their best. Like in  the case of Diaz from the Philippines, that's already huge amount of money and for sure she will also be a product endorser so that's additional money for her for bringing the country their first medal in the Olympics.

Not sure about Croatia, maybe in every Olympics, they have at least gotten a medals regardless of the colour.

Anyone of the Rogers Cup? Aug 7-15. I still remember this tournament, first time to see Roger Federer play like 15 or 16 years ago.  Grin

It's round of 64 but already had a lot of good players facing each other. I put a bet on Ramos-Vinolas vs Marin Cilic under 22.5 and Sonego vs Humber over 22.5 parlay. Hopefully I can get a win so that I will roll by bankroll in this tournament.

Did Lakers sign Schroeder back? last time I heard about him he became a free agent and struggling to het a huge contract to the other team since no one grab what contract he likes that's why he's slowly losing a chance to get one.

But if this the case well this line up is much better line up compare to their last season and if they can work out their chemistry also can rotate the ball then  this is the team will get a huge chance to win on Finals.
Wow, I didn't even realize @Oasisman had lineup Dennis Schröder on Lakers team.
I just did a quick research and i found, Schröder has great chances to play for the Celtics.
Let's see what the Lakers will get in this exchange!

By the way, I liked Schröder, he was a good player (not an allstar), but he's still a missing player on the team.

More likely he will end up in Boston, they have traded Kemba Walker, so they need a point guard now. And Dennis will be a perfect fit, however, as per report, Celtics can only offer one or two year deal. Remember that he turn down a Lakers offer of $84 million for four years. So doesn't have any good options this season, worst he could end up to his previous team - OKC. So it's really up to him and his agent, shop him around and take less money if he really wanted to get out of the Lakers.
3372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum pump on: August 08, 2021, 01:25:59 PM
As a Result of London Hard Fork,Price of ETH is so increasing and is forwarding to Its Previous All time High.Bullish Movement in Eth is also indication of Bullish Market.

This has a huge impact on Ethereum and it's still a good sign. It simply means that the market is still actively moving these days. One common problem that is facing by most traders these days is the increase of Ethereum fees on different exchanges which is normal during the Ethereum pump.  I hope that the price would still continue to rise up so we'll all gain a good profit.

But the supposed released Eth2.0 should be resolving the issue of higher gas fees?

In any case though, I've seen the price going about $3k now, so it's obvious pump that is going on Ethereum because of the hype around the Eth2.0 release. Right, we can only hope that this is the start of another set of bull run, leading up to the end of the year super fast really that we have seen in the past.
3373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC still top1 on the cryptomarket? on: August 08, 2021, 12:54:08 PM
Bitcoin is the ancestor of the entire cryptocurrency, everything went from it and it became a standard of its kind, and most importantly , it is decentralized, because most projects today do not have such a thing.

Most of the projects are still decentralised, but bitcoin is the first and prime mover, and without bitcoin maybe we will not any any of this cryptocurrencies. Some of the coins that comes with bitcoin during its early days has died already, but bitcoin keeps going strong.

As for the question, it's irrelevant for me, no one can touch bitcoin in the top and I doubt that there will be in the future. Bitcoin has cornered the market already, newbie investors started everything through bitcoin.
3374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol on: August 08, 2021, 12:27:27 PM
There's a possibility that the fight will not push through, Eddy Reynoso is working to get the Plant to happen

Quote
Reynoso told The Athletic that Canelo would not be fighting WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol. Those talks are now “OFF,” according to Lance Pugmire.
“The project we have before us now to unify at 168. We are working real hard on this and hope to get all this together,” Reynoso said

This is their goal right now because they feel Plant is beatable and both fighters are going to get a huge paycheck, I hope the fight finally push through, this is a more interesting fight than Bivol

Eddy Reynoso says Canelo wants to unify at 168, Plant negotiations restarting

I think this fight is already cancelled.

And I agree with Reynoso, it's better for Canelo to unify all the belts in 168, not sure who is the last man to do it, but it will be the best interest for Canelo. If he fights Caleb Plant and then his belt, then he can go as high as light heavy weight again. But not sure if there will be money on that division because Bivol or Beterviev is not a US household name. Maybe he can defend his belt against David Benavidez who will be fighting against Uzcategui on Aug 28.
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 08, 2021, 11:38:27 AM
wow, what a powerful team!
PG - Russell Westbrook
SG - LeBron James
SF - Mello
PF - AD
C - Howard

Something interesting I was thinking to myself.
Howard and Melo are not performing well lately, but I believe that only them playing together with AD, LeBron and Westbrook, and created this excellent team, will give them confidence and consequently they can play inspired

I don't think Melo will be in the starting line up.
And LeBron might play much at the PF position, while AD might do a little bit of playing the Center position.
However my current prediction with the Lakers starting five would be;
Pg : Schroeder
Sg : Westbrook
Sf : LeBron
Pf : Davis
C : Howard
If the Lakers decide to have a quick and aggressive starting line up, they could put AD at the Center and LeBron at the PF and add Ellington at the SF position.
Melo would be a good depth for the second unit for the Lakers.

Yeah, Melo will likely come out of the bench to replace Lebron in the forward position. Maybe we can see them together in the court but not that often though. But with a deep bench, the Lakers can experiment with their starting 5's and shift players around to find a perfect combination. Ellington could also be inserted as you have said, specially if they needed an outside shooter in the mold of KCP.
3376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 08, 2021, 10:51:06 AM
Yes, but for now, Pacquiao and his team shouldn't bother themselves with that lawsuit. They need to focus on this big fight on the table, just a week from now, everything should be perfect, training should be unwinding by now as he don't want to overtrain himself and then followed by a strict nutritional diet to make the weight in the weigh-in Saturday.

All that's bothering Pacquiao have stopped the lawsuits the political squabbling, so much at stake here for Pacquiao, if he wins it will have a huge impact on his political ambition, this could well be his last fight as he is not getting younger and he has other goals outside of boxing, I'm hoping he'll win this fight and not get hurt, there's still so much left for Pacquiao in other fields where his country can benefit, whatever the outcome Pacquiao is a rare breed in boxing.
Speaking of Pacquiao to be a rare breed in boxing, it something  every boxing fans understand and that's the reason why Logan said hes happy that he choose Mayweather not Pacman.
With his unique breed in boxing I don't see this fight to be his last and I watch a video of his sparring outdoor in front If his fans it shows he's still pretty good and in shape.

Yeah he is still in good shape, but I read that there are haters saying that his abs is not as visible, Lol. That's their latest argument against him that he has really age and that he did take PEDS years ago.

But I'm one of those that believed Manny is clean and didn't use enhancement performance drug during his prime. It's natural talent and as you have said, just rare breed that we will only witness once in our lifetime. And he continue to amaze us with his fights with the young talents that we have right now.

What do you think about this final?, If McDonal wins then this will be his first title but the opponent he faces is a good player seen at the ranking and achievements are better than him that's why his opponent Jannik Sinner more favourite seen from odds 1.29 and for him 3.85.
I am thinking Sinner got this easy. I watched him yesterday and he played really well. Did not watch Nishikori and McDonald but I saw there were breaks like it was WTA on clay and if McDonald is not able to hold his serve he will have no chances tonight. My bet goes on Sinner for sure, maybe even to take it in straight sets or -3.5 handicap.

Same here, I think Sinner will win this finals. McDonald is good but he almost lost to Kei today as it is a very close match. While Sinner won in 2 sets and like he is breezing in the game specially in the 2nd.

-3.5 for Sinner is @1.74, not bad odds, or under 21.5 @1.82, this could be a 2 setter as well for Sinner.
3378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish News!!! on: August 07, 2021, 11:50:11 AM
If you want to see the positive, you can find it with every bad news, and no matter how good the news is, you will find that some will look at the negative.
This news has no meaning, and even if Google and Apple announced their acceptance of payment through their applications, it will not change the price, unless these companies add Bitcoin to their inventory, which is something that will not happen soon.

The whales control the news and adjust the price.

You have a point, but at least this kind of news could trigger another set of FOMO in the market.

And maybe this news is the catalyst for the recent run that we are seeing up to $43k and no sign of stopping. As far as Google and Apple having bitcoin in their balance sheet, who knows maybe they are already thinking of that option or it could happen down the line.
3379  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bullish At The Moment on: August 07, 2021, 11:01:36 AM
The price of bitcoin moved above $43k, which shows a bullish signal, as the next targeted price will be $45k before moving to $50 before the end of September.

I'm more leaning towards the $50k resistance level, this is a big wall instead of $45k which can be breach within the month with the way the price is moving currently. So if we touch $45k next week then hopefully at the end of the month $50k will be reach as well.

But as I have said it will be a hard grind as this is the next whole number barriers. But we are already in some sort of bullish run again so let's see.

Congratulations to the USA for winning the gold medal, Durant was spectacular, he carried this team, and thanks to Tatum and Lillard who also showed their support when Durant was in foul trouble. It was a big effort, they have a good lead, France comes back but they hold on.

Also, congratulations to those who bet on France as they cover the spread.
I second. Cheers to all those courageful gamblers who put their bet for France with a spread. The lowest was +10.5 and it should be enough. Big loss for me. I really thought USA could cover the -10 spread but they are sloppy on the offensive end and losing the big lead a lot of time.
A little sad for Gobert when I saw him cry but he knows the outcome will be like that when you dont have enough players to help you out.

He should not crypto, USA is the top favorite so he does not have to expect a gold medal, save that tears if they'll win a gold medal, and as long as they will continue next Olympics, they will have a great chance but probably team France will have a lot of new players to compete. Booker was not really playing well, I can't count how much he scored but I'm sure it's not double digit.

It's different though as compare to NBA finals, here you represent your own nation, not just Rudy but you will see the almost everyone who fell short of the gold medal cries, regardless if it is on athletics or basketball. They have a good chance to tie the score and force OT, but they missed it. Then they foul Durant who calmly sank the free throws.

This is Durant's 3rd gold Olympic medal representing US and I think majority of them are first timers so they are happy and proud to win their first gold medal.
