2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 09, 2022, 06:40:37 PM
I don't see any odds yet, maybe when the fight gets closer, for sure my favorite sports bookies are going to list it. But I have a feeling that Casimero will be the favorite, for obvious reason. And with the news that Donaire vs Inoue rematch will happen, I do hope that Casimero will be motivated to really break down Butler in this fight so that he will have a chance to fight Inoue (if Inoue wins against Donaire).
2462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 09, 2022, 06:01:36 PM
Total odds @ 7.42
Cheers bro! That's a good one and a bit scary.  Grin

Miami Heat vs Phoenix Suns - No Booker, Cam Johnson at day-to-day status. Heat in 3rd hot winning streak. I'd rather take the Heat -7.5.
Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls - Now this is a must-win for the Bulls after their 5th loss against the 76ers. It's not fun to see them struggling like this after they gave us a great performance in the first half of the season. Bulls -5.5
Good luck to all.

Right, the Warriors was able to get out of their own slump against the Clippers and they are definitely back in the game.

So it's up to the Bulls to stop their bleeding, Warriors just ended their 5 game losing streak. It will be bad for them if they can't win against a low team such as Detroit Pistons. And with that said, I will tail you on the Bulls -5.5, best of luck to all riding on this bet!!
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: March 09, 2022, 05:29:19 PM
I wouldn't say it will strengthen like we are in a bull market, but at most the price will not go down very fast in this kind of environment. Sure, we have the war in the background, so there's a lot of noise, and yet the price of crypto seems to be bouncing around and not the massive drop that we have been expecting. And yet people are shouting that we are in a bear market? (including myself). So at this point, we are in the middle ground and it's a good indication that investors are still crypto despite what's happening around us.
2464  Economy / Speculation / Re: ukraine battlefield bear market on: March 09, 2022, 05:09:55 PM
Bitcoin price is dependent of the combat zone circumstance. Since the conflict began the environment for the economy is horrible, and the net worth of market is sinking. Billions of stablecoins leaving the market, it's going on gold, oil and commodities. Additionally big money is purchasing now, after looking at account bigger than 100 BTC holders are increasing. It's institutional money leaving the market and less liquidity isn't great in any way. Truly negative for the world economy. In this way, Bitcoin also on short and mid term.

However, there are still many factors that will contribute to the price of bitcoin and not just it is dependent of the combat zone or war. And in the last 24 hours, we have seen the price breaking the $40k barrier and it seems to be going again and could hit $45k which is the next mental barrier.

Like the covid-19 pandemic, sure it hits everyone including crypto market but we slowly gain and even goes for a new all time high with the pandemic still around.
2465  Economy / Speculation / Re: ₿ not going below 40.000 (probably) on: March 07, 2022, 03:54:11 AM
Bitcoin has been at a price below $40K and under $30K, if I'm not mistaken from 2018 to 2020. All possibilities exist and can happen even though we hope that Bitcoin can continue to be at a price that can benefit everyone who chooses Bitcoin as an investment.

Of course the last all time high as around $20k in December 2017, and from 2018-2020 we are way below even hitting the lowest low for the bearish cycle at $3k March after the pandemic was announce.

But there is one important event in the calendar that year 2020, the bitcoin halving, which for us is the catalyst for a bull run. So we don't have it right now and so many thinks that we will still go down below $40k or even under $30k worst scenario.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 07, 2022, 02:58:24 AM
Just because it lines up it all comes down to money and if it makes sense for both sides.  Crawford don't care who he fights.  His angle has always been to be the pound for pound best.  I'd love to see his go at with with Spence.  I don't buy many of the fights but I'd pony up for that one.  Boxing needs that fight to happen.  Crawford is fun to watch, always liked seeing him in the ring.
In terms of money, I think there will be no problem in this match (if it happens) because it is certain that this will be one that will be recorded in history considering that both fighters are the best at this time and of course there must be one who is made king in one area. Likewise in boxing there must be one who can indeed be said to be the ruler now whether it is Spence or Crawfod.
The best boxers now in their division are Crawford and Spence because they are both undefeated and holding a title, Ugas just came in the picture because he was successful in defending his title against Pacman, but I guess that would not last long as Spence could beat him and that will give way to the biggest fight which is the Crawford vs Spence.

A lot are hoping that Spence Jr will easily beat Ugas in the upcoming fight.
Even sportsbooks are highly favoring Spence Jr with their odds.
Ugas is at 3.5-4.2, which clearly shows that they are indeed expecting Spence to win.
And that is true, Ugas came into the picture because he beat the legendary Pacquiao.
So we will see to how far can Ugas hold that belt inside the ring. This is an interesting match to watch out for.

Yeah, maybe Spence has the tools to beat Ugas but it will not be an easy task ahead. Ugas is a good boxer, accomplished amateur and recently riding high on a big win against Manny. So as much as what the odds marker are trying to portray Spence as the heavy favorite, this fight might go on the judges scorecard with no knock downs and a difficult match to score.
2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gonzalez vs Martinez on: March 07, 2022, 02:25:59 AM

What a masterclass performance by Chocolalito, seems like Martinez was the older fighter of the two  Smiley.

Martinez lost his legs going into the tenth round he just wants to finish the fight while Gonzalez just keeps moving forward, there's no hint of old age on Gonzales, not the fight that we expected we all thought it was going to be a close fight but it's not, the match against Estrada is still on and we'll wait for the announcement of that fight because in the first place it's the fight we expect.

I think it was due to the early attacks of Gonzalez in the body, in like rounds 1-3.
It really took a toll on Martinez as there was no more legs in the championship round. And of course, the experience of Gonzalez help him as well. He just took the rounds early and try to test Martinez chin and body and then they go toe to toe and he can take Martinez left hook.

Gonzales showed the young opponent how good he is and how his experience help him to be a better boxer. Gonzales may be the older fighter but he is not old at 34 years old, I'm pretty sure there's are still more fights coming for him, and maybe we will again see a fight with Juan Francisco Estrada to avenge his defeat.

Analyst are saying that he is old as per boxing age because he has a lot of wars already, and it could wear him down as he continues to fight. But as what we witnessed, his young opponent is no match for him as he is the aggressive one and even though Martinez has power in both hands, Gonzalez was able to fend it out and he bring the fight to Martinez, engaging him for the whole 12 rounds and have a wide unanimous decision from the judges. Let's see Juan Estrada's response, if he can get healthy and recovered from his bout of Covid, the fight can be made before the end of the year.
2468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 12:36:29 PM
It is very difficult to predict with certainty when there will be Bullish and Bearish bitcoin going forward because there are so many factors that can affect the market going forward, let alone the adoption of bitcoin by large institutions is increasing. However, as a long-term investment bitcoin is still very profitable going forward.

Taking that factor into account, we may say that we are in a bearish situation.

You just have to look at the price, in a span of four months, the price goes from an all time high to currently $38k. And then we have the negative news, like the war and still the effect of covid-19 is still around us. Definitely, if you are going to look at it, better to invest for long term, or at least wait for the next bitcoin halving and then the eventual bull-run.
2469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 06, 2022, 11:49:44 AM
Here is the statement from the 4 governing bodies of boxing:

Quote
The four governing organizations responsible for overseeing boxing title matchups around the world -- the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO -- announced in a joint statement that they won't sanction any such bouts in Russia because of the invasion of Ukraine.

https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/33381629/boxing-governing-organizations-sanction-title-bouts-russia-due-invasion-ukraine

So it clearly states that any fight in Russia will be sanction. It didn't mention about Russian fighters not able to fight outside of Russia. So I think this is still a go fight in May 7.

I hope there's no hindrance to this big fight, we are just speculating now but you have a point and I agree with you. The fight will not take place in Russia, it will be outside the country so the fight has to be realized. We have been waiting for this patiently and we don't want to be disappointed anymore.

This war really f**k up everything, and just like Covid-19 everyone seems to be affected by it.

If we can just stay aside our difference and being biased, for sure this fight can still happen.

And all we can do is wait and hopefully this fight is going to happen in May. And it will be US soil so it should be sanction by the boxing bodies. And this is a Canelo that we are talking the cash cow of boxing so for sure they are considering the fight to happen as plan in the US this May.

As you have said, this is business, the money being involved in this fight is huge specially for Canelo. And perhaps someone can pull the string to make this fight in the US. I think this is just another hindrance, but knowing the personalities involved, this fight will push through as per schedule.
2470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: March 06, 2022, 10:28:07 AM
Hello i had bought link for 1400euros for price about 31euros per link and now its about 10 euros per link
i wonder should i buy more link or should i go to a safer choise like bitcoin ? or get some ada with 0.67euro per ada ? ada price ATH ada was like 2.5 euro per ada ...

an links ATH was like 42euro per link...
what would you do if you were in my place?

every though is welcome!!! i just wonder what is the wiser choise of these 3 coins ada link and btc

Seems to be solid to be about those 3 coins. But remember that we are somewhat in the bear market so the price might go down and may not reach a new all time high.

But this is the perfect time to buy in my opinion, when they become cheap just continue to accumulate and then go for a long term investment. Maybe down the line, when everything settles down, the price will really grow and obviously it will be a big profit for you.
2471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: March 06, 2022, 09:55:33 AM
I don't think the bitcoin price will drop further to the $30k level although in recent times the bitcoin price has decreased slightly where the bitcoin price has dropped to the $38k level. I see the current downward trend is only temporary because the potential for the market to return to bullish is still possible.
Lol wait if the war in Europe happens , then even 20k will be on our way, remember that this is involving one of the most powerful country in the world(Russia) so the effect will surely cover all businesses and markets and including cryptocurrency .

No one can say what will be the exact botton. 34-35K could be the bottom before we see the next all time high. If there is a war and other crises, fundamentally bad news can push it to 20-25K also. Nothing is impossible when it comes to bitcoin price. It may reach 100 thousand dollars or it may reach 10,000$. No can can predict the top and bottom of bitcoin.

In as much as we can't predict the top, it is the same with bottom.

There are speculators who said that we will hit $100k last December and it didn't happen. And the same scenario, there are predictions that we will see $20k as the floor fight, but so far we hadn't even touch that.

So it will really base on how the market will react at this point, now that the covid-19 is on the back seat issues for most countries, now we have a new one, the war in Europe that really affecting the market.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 06, 2022, 01:52:04 AM
Really wish we can just finally see Spence fight Crawford.  That would be an epic fight.  Expecting Spence to take care of business here.  Hopefully they can work out the fight details to get the Crawford match done.  Would be one of the fights of the year if they can make it happen.

Agreed. However, Terence Crawford's next fight will be vs. Keith Thurman. According to some articles, Ugas wants to fight Crawford if he wins but it appears Errol Spence wants to avoid Crawford if he wins. I reckon the promoters might organize this when they are already not in their top shape similar to Brook versus Khan.

Is that sealed already? I mean Crawford vs Thurman fight? Never saw any articles though, so I'm thinking this could be just an speculation although chances are high since Thurman just won against Barrios.

But I somewhat agree with your point at Spence, he seems to be avoiding discussion about Crawford and even downplay that he didn't need him for his legacy.

Not sure if he is really avoiding Crawford, this could be the for the unification of the belts in this division. And it could be the first time that we will see all the belts in line if ever they face each other.

So there is plenty of money for this fight, so Spence should not stay away from fighting Crawford. Both of them are way over 30 years old so just about time that they should look for their future without boxing. So make the most money and this is the biggest paycheck for them for sure. They can split the purse 50-50 simply as that.
2473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 06, 2022, 01:12:34 AM
LOL, Keith Thurman? no way that Donaire is going to face a big guy at 147 lbs, so 100% this is not true mate, I don't know where you get your sources.

What we want for Casimero is Inoue, I doubt that him and Donaire will face each other since they are now on the same promotional company and seems to patch up things already.
I search "Donaire vs Thurman" on google and I don't find any single source mentioned that's rumor, pretty sure he's either confuse some divisions or mentioned wrong name. Yeah, if two boxer with same national fight each other, it doesn't have a lot hype and popular. I thought this fight already ended, but checked the date it will happen on the next month lol. I'd interested to see Casimero fight with Inoue rather than the rematch Donaire vs Inoue.
You know its been delayed due to some health issues of Casimero which he needs to settle this fight first before anything else.Whether he would putting some problems with his belt or not.
It was unexpected actually but surprisingly this fight push through and hope that there would be no other situation that do rise up.Lots had been anticipating for this one but majority
is really been rooting for Casimero to win.Yes, its likely but he shouldnt really take lightly on Butler yet this guy is also that capable on beating him off.

It's because the WBO allowed Casimero to go and make the fight happen because he submitted all the needed docs about his health issues and the body accepted it.

So now the fight resumes, although there seems to have another problem on the side of Casimero that will bother him in the fight, at least this is going to happen. It's really up to him to train hard and focus and not to be distracted by the negative news bad at home.

We never heard about the case filed against Casimero in the Philippines, so maybe it just died down or at least their is no noise so that he can forget about it for a while and put forth his best effort in this fight.

Yes, he is battle tested already, but who knows, Butler is his mandatory and we know that mandatory fighter has to go through a lot of fights get to get that number 1 position. So it will be a very tough fight and it's gonna be close.
2474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 06, 2022, 12:44:43 AM
Sixers will play the Heat without Harden while the Heat will be without their key players and maybe some of their reliable support team (Max Strus, Caleb martin). It will be interesting to see the battle between Embiid and Adebayo as both centers are playing good. Another thing to watch out is who the Sixers will put up against Heat's Tyler Herro. Hopefully, he's up to the task.

And that's why the Heat is the favorite because of Harden sitting this game out.

Now the Heat's line shoot up to -5.5 because of this news. But still they have Joel who can go out and score 30-40 points in this game and they have a lot of role players to fill for Harden's absence.

Adebayo had a 30 point performance in their last game if I'm not mistaken, so that is a great battle in the middle.
2475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Ukraine successfully rug us? on: March 06, 2022, 12:11:55 AM
i was watching the NLW breakdown today and was amazed to see Ukraine plans to airdrop thier own nation-state token to those who will donate to their war. the funds raised up to $54M based on this article from cnbc and this is after the Ukrainian government announced this airdrop. Mykhailo Fedorov )Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation) the next day tweeted, they are not distributing Ukraine coins but instead NFTS.  https://twitter.com/FedorovMykhailo/status/1499348177002151937

this guy from youtube also talked about his frustration about this rug pull. notice her girl roaming behind him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOGwy85r98k

this could have a positive effect on crypto if the country really sends out government-backed tokens. do you think the IMF also advised Fedorov not to pursue this Ukrain coins?  what do you think stopped them from releasing?

I think we will never know what influenced the decision to make such a change. In my opinion, they choose a good way to raise money. In their place, every way is right.

However, I would like to point out that the donations before the airdrop was announcement was around $10M. As you wrote yourself, this sum multiplied right after that. And I am very glad that the money is flowing to help Ukraine, but I am disgusted that most of them were sent there because they wanted to earn money and not because of good will.

I don't think there is no right or wrong here, there could be someone advising the government on what to do, but still it's for the best interest of the Ukrainian and not just for crypto enthusiast.

I think it's already more than $40M if I'm not mistaken, they said that they are going to help those who are in dire need, specially those who have been damage by the attacks by the Russians. For sure the medical expenses should be their number 1 priority.
2476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 05, 2022, 11:38:27 PM
I took the -7.5 Sixers but tough luck Grin

Onto the next games:

Mavs vs Kings could be an easy pick. I'm taking Mavs -5.5 @1.65 I think they could win with more than 10 points gap but I'm sticking with that. I'm not also sure if Luka would be able to play because of a sprained toe.

I can't choose the spread for Sixers vs. Heat but odds are good for the ML fortunately. I respect the way the Heat play hard even without their key players but I'm taking Sixers @1.99 this time. It's hard not to.

I can't decide on Warriors vs. Lakers. Warriors -7.5 @2.05 anyone?

We do really have the same bets and almost share the same view, except for the GSW vs Lakers bet because I'd sit this game for now as it's risky for me as they are both losing games and they are really unpredictable.

Other than that, I also got my bet on Dallas Mavericks -7.5 @ 1.91 vs Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers +2 @ 1.85 vs Miami Heat.

I think this is the game that the GSW will end up their slump, although the Lakers loves to play against Curry and prove something but they are in a disarray that I doubt that they are going to score one against the Warriors.

So I'm leaning towards the -7.5 for the Warriors, Steph will not let this one slide.
2477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gonzalez vs Martinez on: March 05, 2022, 11:17:00 PM
Did just he intentionally missed the weight to take advantage?

This guy has been campaigning below the desired weight for this class isn't it? So I don't understand the logic of him and his team to move up in weight and this missed it by more than 10%? Hmmm, something is not right is this fight. And this is some disrespect on their fight to come above the weight limit but the good thing is that he is paying it base on their contracts.
2478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: March 05, 2022, 10:51:19 PM
Unfortunately today's market drop again so the price of Bitcoin is under $ 40k which is $ 38K, many analysts are convinced that the Red Market will occur throughout the year 2022, even sure Bitcoin prices will drop below $ 25K, but I think Bitcoin always has the opportunity to recover and skyrocket again so I'm not worried even though the market is dropping.

We are indeed in the bear market, but at least there is no massive drop just like 2018. I mean the bulls keeps fighting back, just like what we have seen, they trying to maintain the $45k level at least for some time now. So we will see if we can defend the $38k price and then go bounce back to $40k. So there will be another drop in the price in the $35k range. But I don't see it dropping to $25k and if did, then could be a good recovery because that price is very cheap.
2479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: March 04, 2022, 06:14:24 PM
What a Newbie should do first after entering crypto is to know how to protect his wallet from theft, know where the private key will be stored, gain information from experts on YouTube and blogs, and conduct sufficient research on the coins of projects and various use cases before investing or before He works in any bounty because there are a lot of scam projects, also any newbie should not invest large sums and determine the appropriate time for sell and buy.

I think it's given already, the first thing you should learn when you go crypto is know how to protect your assets.

For me, just educate yourself about it, really that simple, but it takes time to absorb all the information. When I was beginning my journey, I play around with wallets and really try to grasp everything like private keys and mnemonic phrase etc. Of course, money wise, do our own investigation and not just be carried by hype on a certain projects.
2480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 04, 2022, 05:28:30 PM
People doubt about him because they see Erol Spence as more stronger fighter but we know how the under dog Ugas defeat Pacquaio and he's win is so impressive knowing that many people expect him to be defeated by the champ. But since he already prove that he has a guts to defeat the Pacquaio then most provably we can see a exciting match up for their fight with Spence Jr.

It's another fight that very much awaited and very much worth it to bet on and watch for, I know Ugas managed to defeat Manny Pacquiao during their last fight scene around last year but that doesn't mean Ugas is already a fighter that could bet Errol Spencer that easily. Well, I guess there are some factors on Manny Pacquiao that once his strength become his weakness due to his age which also happens to be the advantage of Ugas against Pacquiao. Well, let's how their fight Errol Spencer vs. Yordenis Ugas went on once happen.

I think Ugas defeating Manny put his name on top of the welterweight division. But this is a different fight for him because Spence is one of the best if not the best of this weight class. And as we can see base on the odds, Ugas will be the underdog. Yes, definitely a must watch for boxing fans, we are just waiting for more betting options but as per initial release of the odds, Spence is the favorite by a mile.
