2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop in 2022 on: March 30, 2022, 10:25:53 AM
Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.

Nah, I don't think that airdrops is still worthy this 2022. The hype is gone and there are so many scams like projects not giving the right amount and I remember others asking for private keys or even some ETH to be able to received the airdrop.

So it's better to stop joining airdrops, maybe you have to look for other ways to earn some crypto, like trading.

I also saw that Sinner is the underdog against Nick Kyrgios. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bet on Jannik and it should be an easy W. But in any case, a lot of good matches, Sinner vs Cerundolo. The game might probably Under 20.5. And then Zverev vs Ruud, Zverev -3.5 in their match.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: March 30, 2022, 08:15:29 AM
Another good match for the talent laden 135 lbs. We also have the come backing Ryan Garcia here so it will be again a lot of good match between the 4-5 fighters. But the man at this point is George Kambosos he has most of the belt right now because of his huge upset of Teofimo Lopez.

But in this fight, for sure he will be tested by Devin Haney. I'm speculating that this is going to full distance because of Haney's trying to play defense at the same time being the technical. But I will still go with George, base on his last performance against Lopez, he is a well rounded boxer. He can go fight toe to toe and then maybe play technical against a technical fighter in Haney.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 28, 2022, 05:18:53 AM
^^ Yeah, I have the Nets as well during a live bet specially at the end of the 3rd when they cut a 10 point lead down to 4, and I said that maybe they will have chance, Durant sinks his first 3 and this could carry in the 4th.

But unfortunately, Kyrie wasn't hitting any shots, and as if he tries really hard to bring the team as they close again and the lead was just 4 points. But then Hornets scored successively and it was over for them.
2385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breakout on: March 28, 2022, 04:38:12 AM
Bitcoin is in the process of generating a breakout today (Sunday). A close today above 44569 will be the highest close in over 2 months and will break a triple top that has been built during this time in that area. Bitcoin is presently trading at 46667 at 7:00pm Sunday. The next resistance area is at the 50,000 level. Nonetheless, this breakout is a signal that the downtrend is over, meaning that now the bulls can buy with more confidence.

Just because we have a break out means that the down trend is over. It is too early, and you have to look long term though. We are still in March and many things can happen.

If you are not aware of, Terra project have plans of buying bitcoin, billions of it.

Quote
The founder of Terra network, Do Kwon, has announced that they will be purchasing bitcoin to serve as their reserves.

https://bitcoinist.com/terra-luna-will-buy-10-billion-worth-of-bitcoin-heres-why/

So in the next 2 months there will be pumping bitcoin market, it's just the question what the negative effect on the market after they are done.
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Investing Coin on: March 27, 2022, 11:39:30 PM
For reasons of the level of risk, I think that I personally don't like the coin chosen by the op, especially since he invested before the crash occurred, of course it's not something easy for coins, let alone new coins to bounce back. therefore the top order coins on coinmarketcap are a very wise choice when it comes to investing, especially for long-term investments, of course the level of risk is a major consideration
the easiest way investing in crypto market was buying top coin in coinmarket cap, its proven for years as good project and also have utiility that accepted by investors in market. without any utility that attract demand , i am believe we will notsee price sustainable till now.

Yeah, I agree with this one, when I was a beginner in crypto investing, I didn't know this simply but effective rule. All I do is look for gems in the market the will give me supposedly huge returns in short amount of time. But this times a lot of research and investigation and a little bit of luck.

We all know that finding gems is very difficult because we don't know which one of them will explode, so there is a big risk involved as well. So as to not make it complicated on your end, just invest on top 10 altcoins. One example is ADA, they used to be very cheap but a strong coin also in the top 10-20 and then suddenly it went to $1-$2 that is a gem for me.
2387  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: March 27, 2022, 01:04:10 PM
When you called HOLDER do they really bought Bitcoin to Keep for long or just waiting for the timing to sell out? because if this is what the intention behind those increase then i believe that this is not worth to tackle.
as in the end they are also a Buy and Sell account and not here to trust and use crypto .

To be honest, probably every investor who has ever bought Bitcoin has also some plan to "cash out" at some point, meaning they will liquidated their coins at some point and move on to something else or wait for the market price to fall enough to re-buy. There is nothing wrong with that , especially when you think about the long term, as long as you re-buy in good timing!
Also, it's really a big misunderstanding, especially with newbies, that some HODLER won't sell for the long-term and will keep holding for the entire lifespan. Well, in reality that's not what happens.

Of course, sooner or later, those holders are going to cash out specially if they have profited that big already. But it takes years though, not months to become a HODLER and it's very tough for the majority of us.

As for the discussion whether the price will rise or not, short term, it seems that we are increasing by the day but we want the price to go as high $50k and see how it goes. If we touch another all time high again, this will be the first as we thought that we are already in a bearish cycle.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 27, 2022, 11:58:14 AM
Took the Rockets -3.5 against the Blazers back to back game for both teams but the Blazers still have a lot of missing players so I think the outcome will still be similar to their game yesterday unless the Rockets have an abysmal shooting night.

I feel like the handicap should be higher after what happened yesterday and i'm surprised that the odds remain the same and even moved a bit in favor of the Blazers.

Good bet mate, the Rockets won with a big lead, and as you have said, it should have been higher, but perhaps the bookies don't trust the Rockets or they think that the Blazers will have a chance to win.

I took the Rockets -5.5, live betting @2.00 (score is 47-48, favoring Rockets).

So it's also a good win as I thought that they can cover that handicap going into the 3rd and 4th quarter and they actually did.
2389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 27, 2022, 11:23:12 AM
As I expected:

Quote
BoxingScene.com has learned that the WBA has determined after internal discussions to move forward with Bivol-Alvarez as a sanctioned title fight,

https://www.boxingscene.com/canelo-bivol-wba-announce-itll-sanction-light-heavyweight-title-fight--165054

So we will just wait for the final statement coming from WBA regarding this fight. I have suspected that this is a go since there were reports about sanctioning this fight.

At least this is a good news for us boxing fans.
I had predicted the PPV match would not change the schedule even though some people pressured Bivol and boycotted the match because he is Russian, but Bivol quoted in the article above has expressed sympathy for the innocent Ukrainians since the invasion. I think the official announcement on Saturday will be no different from the results of the internal meeting, hope everything is fine, we have been waiting for PPV for that extraordinary match.

I would rather wait for the announcement of this fight will push through or not. I cannot speculate now because I have a feeling that the sanction would be serious and the fight might not happen or will be postponed. We know what's going on, so the speculation has a very good basis waiting for the official announcement, let's just hope for the best.

Maybe in a day or two will have the official announcement, but it seems the source is reputable so I will say it's a done deal already. The fight will go, no sanctions or postponement.

And there is no turning back for Bivol, he should really get himself focus for this fight and not mind those who wanted the fight not to push because of the ongoing war between his country and Ukraine.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 27, 2022, 09:46:06 AM
The joker had himself a night tonight. Jokic scored 35 points on 13-15 shooting from the field. Insane… He also added 12 rebounds and 8 assists. As much as I’d prefer Shaq’s game to Jokic’s, you can’t deny that having a center who can pass the ball and play with finesse is a great piece to have on the team. I can’t think of another center to compare his game to, and tonight he reminded everyone why he’s a former MVP as he led the Nuggets to a 6 point win over the Thunder (who surprisingly still covered the spread).

Yeah, almost another triple double for the Joker, and he really seems to be calm in his game, maybe he knows he can take OKC because they are just down to 8 players, although I'm not sure what is the initial handicap for this match. Because I wanted to bet on them by -6.5 live betting, but the good thing is that the odds keeps changing so I just give up. But in any case, I would have lost my bet. But still a good game by the Joker, but I doubt that he can do back to back MVP, Joel Embiid for me is the MVP for this regular season.
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Misconception of Crypto Currency on: March 26, 2022, 10:17:37 PM
It's not that bad to invest on altcoins in my opinion.

The only problem with them is that they are heavily manipulated and then the pump and dump schemes are prevalent specially those new projects, although the OP listed some solid ones, but still we can't discount the fact that it can still be done  by whales playing in the market.

So it's better for me to stick with BTC or just a handful of altcoins like the prime movers: ETH and BNB.
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: ₿ not going below 40.000 (probably) on: March 26, 2022, 09:35:44 PM
Its  become more possible we do search the lower 30k's.   The close to this last weekly bar is quite negative and any further negative trade will push price action over the edge.   We have to see but the lows around 38k need to hold now for any hope of a build higher, recovery or just sideways.
We are in a regular downtrend here, if we can simple hold this price level then it can eventually turn positive & that would be the time element in recovery prospects.

Yeah, but me thinks that this sudden surge of price might not hold and I'm not feeling comfortable with it. It's better to have a steady and slow growth or a massive downturn and and slow recovery.

And so with the current movement, wherein someone is pumping it to even levels of $44k-$45k, we might be getting the traders to the edge and who knows, maybe they are going to be push over the edge in the next couple of months and will decided to sell just to make a quick money specially those who have invested when the price is below $40k.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 26, 2022, 04:37:55 PM
.... Memphis Grizzlies are the favourite team to win this game but it is by a small margin. I think that Milwaukee Bucks are going to be the winner here. They already played against each other before and Milwaukee Bucks won that. This can repeat itself.
Grizzlies are formidable at home that's why they are still favored despite Ja Morant's absence. There's also a chance that Giannis could be back but he will probably play with restricted minutes. It's tough betting on this game right now. I'd rather bet live or just wait for the announcement of the line up.

It can be easy to predict who will win the match if one of the star players does not take the field. I don't think the Bucks will have much of a chance unless Giannis plays, the Memphis Grizzlies could win this game.
Ja Morant is having an incredible season and will ensure his team wins this game as well, but that might change if Giannis can play too Smiley

The Bucks win their last game without Giannis, same with the Memphis Grizzlies without Ja Morant. So it's hard to predict this games because other players are stepping up in absence of their superstar.

So we will have to see if both stars are going to play and if they play, how long the coach as going to insert them in the game. Even though they have clinch a playoff spot, this games are still very important because you want to continue winning and have a good momentum and secured your spot.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 26, 2022, 04:07:59 PM
I disagree with your disagreement hehehe. However, I only agree on your speculation if you are making a bet on Bivol. Everyone has already witnessed that Canelo is something similar to Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquaio. They are the kings of the sport of boxing. But there is a chance for Bivol and he might be underestimated for this. I speculate Bivol's left hook, right uppercut might knockdown Canelo.

Canelo should do his best as lots of people are expecting to win money betting for him hehe. Looks like everyone is considering Bivol as an easy opponent for Canelo. I only see a few posters here praising the skills of Bivol. Him being a champion is now disregarded because Canelo is treated similarly to Floyd Mayweather Jr or Manny Pacquiao.

I also see Canelo has the advantage but we can't speculate early who will be the winner of this fight.

The odds for Canelo seem not attractive too. I wonder how those bettors that eyeing for Canelo to win will make a bet.

Maybe they are looking for more betting options and not for the ML unless they are going to bet huge money on Canelo.

Many have tried to fight Canelo and said that they are going to win, much bigger guy than Canelo, but they all have because they can't solved the puzzle in Canelo. He has vastly improved since his lost to Floyd.

The only way to beat him if that if Bivol got lucky and time Canelo coming and have a shot that Canelo is not expecting. But then again, Canelo has a great chin as well, so hard to imagine how Bivol can win this fight.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 26, 2022, 11:59:26 AM
Golden State Warriors to win @ 2.12.

I'm thinking that they will repeat their win even without their main players. They should be able to give an Atlanta Hawks a loss despite that.

It's worth betting for me since the Warriors are totally not a team that can easily beat even without Steph Curry. I trust my bet.

The game will now start in 2 minutes as of posting this.

The got dogged.  Going to the east coast or west coast is a hard thing to deal with top that with not having steph and atlanta who cooks at home this was tough to bet on golden state.  They will struggle without steph

Correct, I thought another trap for us bettors, but GSW perform poorly on the road again. Poole was the only one consistent but Wiggins after a good game against the Miami Heat was a big let down.

Lost as well as the odds for GSW to win is very attractive and I can't resists it.

@Japinat - I haven't check the odds for the home team, but if they are good then yeah, parlay those games.
2396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 25, 2022, 11:03:08 PM
After long time of suspension of BTC price between 32k to 40k is we think it's bounce backed to 60k this year?
The market situation is indeed difficult to predict this year because of the turmoil in several countries that made the business industry chaotic, at the beginning of this year everyone was shocked by the war that broke out between Russia and Ukraine, from this incident we can see market sentiment turning negative which caused the market capitalization to fall as a result of the sell-off. But now / today we can see the price of BTC has increased by 4% from $40k to the price of $45k. Well, based on this there is a possibility that the BTC price will reach $60k by the end of this year or will record a new ATH.

Actually entering the beginning of 2022 Bitcoin performance is quite disappointing because it has decreased in price, but it is still reasonable,
because in 2021 Bitcoin experienced a tremendous increase. So this year it is likely to experience a bearish trend, so according to my prediction
the possibility of Bitcoin returning to the price of $ 60k is very small. Moreover, this year there was a surprising war between Russia and Ukraine,
which affected the crypto market. Therefore it is likely that Bitcoin price will stabilize around $30k to $40k until the end of this year. It is true that
Bitcoin is currently rising to the price of $44k, but it is likely that Bitcoin will be very difficult to rise above the price of $45k, because previously
it had gone up to the price of $ 44k, but not long after the price of Bitcoin will go back down again.

And we thought that it will get worst when we hit around $33k-$35k and it will still go down to like $20k-$30k. However, bitcoin proves it's resiliency again, slowly getting into the $40k'ish range and the continue to ascent to $44k-$45k because one company is being bullish about it because they are willing to throw billions for the next 3 months. So we will see if we can go over and touch $45k because of it. So no surprised if we even touch $50k in the next couple of months. So don't say that it will not rise above of $45k because everything is possible.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 25, 2022, 06:06:46 PM

His promoters will see this as a money fight for Tagoe, but he will come prepared for this fight, Tagoe very well know that he was picked because they think it's an easy fight and attractive for bettors and those who idolize Garcia but Tagoe will not only want money because he knows that if he can upset Garcia he will become an instant celebrity and that means more money to come in, it's not only a fight to make money for him but an opportunity to make more money and become an instant celebrity, let's see if Garcia is now prepared to be back again or Tagoe will blow out everything.

It's a very big challenge for him because he could be hurt badly in this fight.

Yeah, that is the catch in this fight, he might be the next victim of Garcia if he thinks that he can take his punch.

I just like Tagoe though because he was never afraid to fight a KO artist, probably his camp seem some weakness of Ryan Garcia from his last fight and hopefully they'll be able to exploit that so this fight would be exciting to watch. However, Ryan Garcia will still win this fight, that's my prediction.

It's a opportunity so he just grab it. There could be some motivation from behind, and the obvious one is money. Well Garcia was knock down in his last fight, but was able to get up and knock out his opponent, so I don't think that is weaknesses, on the contrary, he should his resiliency and his ability to recover fast even after he has knock down surprisingly by Campbell. Doest Tagoe possesses the same or even more power than Campbell? I doubt it.
2398  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 25, 2022, 05:01:47 PM
And now Russia is thinking of accepting bitcoin for their oil and gas.

Quote
Russia is considering accepting Bitcoin as payment for its oil and gas exports, according to a high-ranking lawmaker.

Pavel Zavalny says "friendly" countries could be allowed to pay in the crypto-currency or in their local currencies.

Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he wanted "unfriendly" countries to buy its gas with roubles.

The move is understood to be aimed at boosting the Russian currency, which has lost over 20% in value this year.

Sanctions imposed by the UK, US and the European Union, following the invasion of Ukraine, have put a strain on Russia's rouble and raised its cost of living.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-60870100

So to get away with the sanctions, Russia now is thinking of accepting bitcoin, not sure if this will be good for us as the US might mitigate this risk on bitcoin and for sure they are going to be scared.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 25, 2022, 04:22:46 PM
He is one of the boxers who stands at the top in his current class and indeed this requires a lot of struggle for GGG.
Technically, if you look at it from there, it's certainly as expected in this forum because GGG is definitely the favorite and indeed Murata is the Underdog, but indeed this will be tough and most likely this will be a battle with calculations later

I believe that Murata is not just a simple boxer that GGG should take him easy because this man Murata will truly give a difficult fight for him. It cannot be denied that GGG is the crowd's favorite here but it is also undeniable that he should prepare for this fight to be able to achieve the ultimate goal of winning the battle. I can't wait to see them inside the ring and unfold the result right in front of us who among them will stand out at the end.

Yes, it will not be an easy fight for GGG and he knows Murata years back because they have a sparring session, so he knows what he is up to. Besides he will be traveling to Japan, Murata's home soil so it will add to the obstacles.

Nevertheless, GGG has all the experienced, maybe he is 40 years old already, but he can still fight at high level. And then he has to win this fight to setup a third fight against his arch nemesis in Canelo Alvarez.

Chris Paul is back. Phoenix Suns are once again the powerful team in the Western Conference.
He always fixes the problem the Suns have and that is to calm things down and let the game be in their own pace. It worked as he was not needed in the last minutes of the game after he secured a good lead ahead.
The veteran being a veteran in terms of being a good leader and as the playmaker. High chance they may take the championship this year and I am betting on it. I am a Nuggets fan, but damn he is good.

Surprised to see that CP3 is back, and his presence alone is enough for the underdog Suns to win a big games against the road. Yeah, he really did lead the team, when the Nuggets are trying to get back at the game in the 4th, he calm the team, and make it a slow game, which is very advantageous for him. His basketball IQ is really one of the best right now. No doubt why they are the best team in the West and in the NBA right now. And I will not be surprised if they will reach the finals this year or even win the NBA championship for CP3.
