3361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 18, 2020, 12:11:05 PM
Thoughts? Do Bucks have what it takes this year to go for the title?

There is no reason not to be. This year they will appear as a very strong team. Bogdan Bogdanovic is one of the best players in NBA and Jrue Holiday also shows a very successful performance.
They played a good team game last season. If they can find a good team spirit this year, they can be a strong candidate for the championship Smiley Of course it all depends on Giannis Cheesy seem to have a chance with this newly created team, Giannis will be happy too

This is a new combination of players for the bucks and looks like Giannis needs to make some adjustment to this new team. Overall, these guys are great. the trade season is still ongoing every approval and rejection feels exciting. I can see right now that most of the teams are carefully choosing their next rosters, they don't just approve some random trades.
Bucks are looking for improvement, they can't be contented with just being the team with the best record in the regular season as the real battle is in the playoffs. One thing is sure, Giannis will stay but we don't know who are the players bucks would acquired in either signing them or through trade with bucks players.

I wonder who will gonna go to the Lakers next?

Will see, for sure more big news will be coming in the next few days.
3362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 17, 2020, 11:38:12 AM
Bitcoin market making positive trend will not have any negative effect on the altcoin market if the altcoin have good concept and utility. Aside from that, before altcoin have could reach a new ATH, Bitcoin always lead the market so if Bitcoin market is in total bullish all genuine altcoin we have will follow the bullish trend so theres no need to panic if Bitcoin is in a positive trend.
its right mate, if we already understand market behaviour in bitcoin bullish opportunity in altcoin should be taken to trade. there are alot good altcoin dump it first and then following bitcoin direction. this kind market cycle must be understood by all investors to get maximum profit from market.
Altcoins has become playground of high risk investors, they would invest on altcoins if bitcoin remains and continues to be bullish, at the current level, it's already bullish but investors are still waiting for bitcoin to reach a new ATH and altcoins will certainly rise.

I want to see how the market move once bitcoin will have a big dump as a correction, I'm sure panic will start, but as of now, everything is good for bitcoin and slowly altcoins are following its trend.
3363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum: $500, $400, or $800? on: November 17, 2020, 05:14:53 AM
Since the price of bitcoin is still hitting the $ 15k mark, I have been keeping a close eye on ethereum's price and hoping that it can reach $ 500, or even higher. however, as I thought, the increase in bitcoin price also affected ethereum, and made the price go up but not so fast. I believe Ethereum's price could hit $ 500 this month, in fact, I really expected $ 800 if it were possible.

$500 is so close now, ETH is priced at $454 now, but if bitcoin will breakout to $17,000, then I would say ETH will easily be heading to $500 or even more. I like the market movement now, it seems this is really bullish and I think $20,000 is possible and with that said, it's expected ETH will pump as well.
3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 17, 2020, 04:55:39 AM
The trading season has just started yesterday and some star players have been already traded already. like Chris Paul goes to Phoenix Suns and the Oklahoma Thunder receives Rubio, Oubre, Jerome, Lecque, and draft compensation in the deal.

https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/11/suns-thunder-finalizing-chris-paul-trade.html

What are your thoughts guys?

I don't what team gets the benefits in this trade, Paul and Booker in one team is just like Harden and Westbrook in a team, Booker here needs to adjust as surely paul will still bring the ball as a point guard and that means Booker's shooting attempts will be limited.
3365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 13, 2020, 02:52:10 PM
Nothing's gonna change with those opinions but nevertheless, nba will stay with positive or negative opinion.

No big sports league that has not received any negative opinion from the people, we have millions or billions of watchers and some of that has a kind of different mind, trying to spot the abnormalities of the game and make a conspiracy theory, it will never grow old my friend, in the next generation we will still see a lot of content about rigged games but the league will still continue.
Yes, I guess in this generation we'll see more of those conspiracy theories.

About rigged games, accusations, other theories, which will result in disappointment that they've lost their bets to create those thoughts.

That's their right, but it will not affect the reputation of the sports if that conspiracy theories are without a valid evidence. It will only satisfy the mind of few people who are too doubtful of what they are seeing, but like I said, no evidence, sports league will remain and continue to be patronize by the majority of sports fans and enthusiast.
3366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 13, 2020, 02:27:04 PM

Firing employees are one of the way to lessen the company expenses especially if a certain company is experiencing losses and not good sales due to the pandemic, for sure the employees will understand why they fired even though they have good performance in their previous work. Firing is good especially if there are valid reason but doing a lot of malpractices to their employees are not okay wherein the employees are forcing to do overtime without extra payment or to force to not do a leave. Traditional casinos should not focus on their sales only, they should also give a care to their employees because they are one of the reason why a certain company have profit in their investment.

We will now delve into the maze of labor law in various countries. Although, the situation is actually quite simple. The casino has suffered losses for a long time due to the lack of proper number of visitors. This forced them to take extreme measures and they fired some of their employees.
In this situation, the main thing is for them to comply with labor laws and pay the dismissed workers a good severance package.

Labor laws in country to country may differ, paying a separation fee for employees is still debatable as the economy is in serious trouble, if the company can't pay, they could just file a bankruptcy and no one will get paid since it means the business did not survive. These people are force into paid leave because if a company would terminate them, they might be obliged to pay them, what a smart move, right?
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Markets Correct Resulting to DeFi Tokens Bleed Out on: November 13, 2020, 02:00:05 PM
I am not surprise with this, people saw how bullish bitcoin is so they take their money out to invest in bitcoin. Believe me, once bitcoin's pump is over and soon there will be correction, slowly some of it will go back to altcoins and will try to make the market still lively again despite a possible bleeding of bitcoin once correction starts.
3368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum: $500, $400, or $800? on: November 13, 2020, 01:29:39 PM
ETH is just waiting at the right timing, bitcoin is already close to its ATH, if  bitcoin achieved a new ATH this year, then I think ETH will also start to pump to at least close to its ATH. Once a coin is on a pump, it's hard to predict what price it will land because the FOMO is there, so $800 is not impossible, it's doable as long as bitcoin will be continue to pump.
3369  Economy / Gambling / Re: The new no registration required smart wallet interface btc and eth lottery on: November 13, 2020, 11:58:13 AM
If you are part of the team or working for them, can you please make an attractive ANN so the gambling site you are promoting will look legit.

Just an advice as most sites I see that are successful have put an effort on their ANN thread.
I don't want to commend yet on the legal aspects of your site, I'll let others judge it though.
3370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: November 13, 2020, 11:39:13 AM
can say like that, BNB is one of the best coins to date in my opinion many investor are interested in BNB as an investment option a development that always looks positive making BNB one of the TOP coin and my speculation the price will continue to increase especially in a condition bull run like now

We don't know whether we are in a bull run or not, but investors are showing a lot of interest towards BNB because it is an exchange-based coin which many people will show a lot of interest towards this coin, once after launching BSC, the demand for BNB is kept increasing and there is an enormous chance for BNB holders.

it's up to us on how we see it, some are already convince we are in the bull run, and some are still waiting. For me, I will call it a bull run once bitcoin will surpass it's current ATH, if not, then I expect the price to dump as a result of a continues pump.

BNB had it's own bull run, it's still fresh in my mind that BNB had an ATH last year.
3371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 11:10:16 AM
In theory, sounds perfect! Now it is time back to face with reality, the gambling mindset is totally different than what we think we will do. Many gamblers look for easy and fast money by betting on random events, so the final outcome is against their winning chance with a 0-1 score. Chasing losses is the shortcut to limit the more losses and saving time, otherwise, the gambler is supposed to keep playing a few more days in order to go back to the start point.

That's also what im thinking, in reality no matter how much you budget your bankroll. In some situations are just are tilting and after some exhaustion of losing streak. It might be hard to stick to the plan to bet minimum amounts not exceeding your limit. There are times when you get to emotional and chase losses in the end.

It's hard but it's not impossible, therefore if you make mistakes, just learn from it until you master the right bankroll management. All these factors are important for your success, just imagine you are doing a business or investment where you can't make bad mistakes or else you'll go bankrupt.
3372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 10:48:18 AM
It seems that almost all gamblers have experienced losing money in sports betting, because indeed for sports betting requires luck to win.
So no matter how good your knowledge of sports is, it still cannot guarantee success in sports betting. Experience and knowledge in sports
betting only minimizes our loss, but it does not prevent us from avoiding losses. So no effective way has been found to avoid losing in sports
betting. Most importantly, the number of victories we have must be more than the number of defeats we experience. And if we have managed
to get profit from sports betting, stop immediately, if it continues will suffer defeat in the end.

Even though in sport betting many people and gamblers say that it is 75% skill and 25% luck that luck factor together with the referee who always impact a game a certain away determines how the game will end and that is why most of us lose money in sport betting.

I don't mind that kind of principle actually, no way I would just rely on luck, i will go with 99% skills and 1% luck, as that is I believe the recipe for success, when you have a big percentage of luck, well, you will really just gambling and most likely you will just lose in the long run.
3373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 13, 2020, 10:34:07 AM
Altcoins market is always struggling, I'm not seeing it will be more in trouble once bitcoin continues to rise, I think it will become a wake up call for altcoins to have their own run which we called an altcoins season.

Remember, it happened before when bitcoin achieved it's ATH, so who knows if history will repeat itself.
3374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 12, 2020, 01:04:01 PM
I would be rather curious to know how you guys bet and how you make use of singles. Do you really believe in minimizing risk when placing single bets? It's like going all-in, you basically flip a coin, either you win or you lose. If you like that, keep on playing. That's not for me. Wink

The risk is always there, you are right on that, but after following this thread for some time, I've come to the conclusion that multi bets are riskier than single ones. And it's not like, the more risky your bet, the higher multiplier you get, no. You are more likely to win a single bet with 1.9 odds, than a multi bet of 3 that gives you the same outcome odds. And the main reason for that is that you can't research as thoroughly about 3 events, as you can about 1 event.
Man, betting is not like science. The amount of effort you put into researching what the possible outcome of an event could be will never be enough. There are always unexpected circumstances that will blow away your conclusions. Really anything can happen that you couldn't foresee. And, also, how much money do you bet @1.90? Again, better to flip a coin.
Every pick we make is coming from our conclusion based on our research, there's no guarantee to win but at least we always try our best to win. Every gambler has our own style of analyzing the game, but the only thing that would measure our success is our gambling record, if we boost we are a winner, we should back that up with proof.
3375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 12, 2020, 12:20:47 PM
No one can talk about the right security measures when it comes to betting there are risks but it requires sufficient knowledge and experience no one can tell when the game will turn so you have to start with a small amount of capital. The site must be well monitored before joining without making any bets if you have any experience in the world of online gambling you can choose any type of bonus based on your own betting style and preferences.

Looking for a site is just an easy task for anyone who has knowledge since it's a basic requirement.

The only difficult thing is to find consistency in winning which most of us does not achieve, therefore we should aim this and in order to be safe, we need to ensure that we go with our plan and that includes betting with limitations and knowing when to stop in any situation.
well, what you explain is very reasonable and I strongly agree because at some gambling places there is no guarantee whatsoever when you have gambled everything can be affected and it doesn't feel like you have spent a lot of money used for gambling capital. therefore it is necessary to remain aware and not be affected by the conditions at the gambling venue.

Being a gambler, I'm sure people will understand how it feels when you lose control in the game, most likely it will result to a bad loss because you are getting heated and you can't focus anymore, and you'll begin chasing loses until you end up losing your entire bankroll.

Been in that situation many times in my life, so I know the feeling.  Cheesy
3376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 12, 2020, 11:23:20 AM
and it is very likely that the main goal of this man is just for fame and maybe to be recorded in history..

No, I wouldn't believe on that, pulling the trigger for a $5 million bet is not easy, one should be fully convince that his pick will win, and that is his main goal which is to win, getting listed in the history is just another thing, he maybe even not aware on that.
3377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: November 11, 2020, 10:31:32 PM
What do you think of defi projects, most of them are only good for the short term.To make a big profit, we must enter at the right moment, if we are wrong we will lose very deeply.

If that's their classification then we can compare them to Ponzi scheme, this is how Ponzi scheme works, you have to enter at the right time, if you failed to do so, you will end up losing it's an early bird thing, the early bird catches the early worms, but unfortunately on this kind of project, you never know when the scheme will end it could be the day after you invest or week.

Ponzi are automatic scam while De-Fi projects are not, at least some of them are not scam, the pump and dump situation was only brought by the hype of the De-Fi projects, but it will be stable overtime IMO.
3378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 11, 2020, 10:20:34 PM
if I have to choose then I will choose IEO but it is done in large eexchange, why do I choose IEO? because it is safer in investment, ICO is too many scammers and bear in mind that ICO will not be as beautiful as 2017

The question is when they return, if ICO would return in a different way, the better ICO then I guess ICO would still be better.

IEO is no doubt better than IEO due to the fact that it's done in exchanges where exchanges doing their part to evaluate the IEO project they'll accept, so the risk is lesser but the market is already big, more projects are always welcome so we can choose a quality projects, which some projects although quality failed to succeed since they lack budget to get listed in big exchanges.
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: November 11, 2020, 12:24:56 PM
I agree, defi is like a casino game, someone is lucky and someone is not, those who came first in the project win, and those who came before the price fell lose.

We should be aware with that, it does normally happen when it was popular due to the word "HYPE".

The risk is high, but the reward is also high if you succeed, so just play the game if you want.
IMO, investing in a more established project is still more advisable, but it's really up to investors if they want to take this high risk investments.

Every platform has its hype, it's just that it's time for DeFi hypes now.
