Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies - Hornets (this has a close gap with 1.83 Hornets and 1.87 Grizzlies)
Philadelphia 76ers vs Toronto Raptors - 76ers
Houston Rockets vs Miami Heat - Heat
@3.54 total parlay. That should be enough. Cheers!

Almost!, you just lose one bet which is the Hornets, a clear loss as Grizzlies dominated the Hornets by 30 points. I hope I also see this coming so I could bet on the specials where the odds is surely huge for a team to win 26+.
2362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: October 07, 2021, 11:17:57 PM
I also prefer short term trading.  I don't have the patience to hold the coin year after year. We also don't know what will happen to the crypto market after 6 months or a year. So it is better to take profit now without relying on uncertainty.
If the crypto you hold for years is bitcoin then there's nothing to worry about.

But you have a point that you'll not know what's in it for the crypto that you might hold. And if those coins aren't bitcoin, ethereum and other top coins.

You really have no idea what's the future with them.
Being a hodler wont be an easy but its true that if you do aim for this target then theres no need for you to worry about whether you had entered late or early. What matter most here is that you do aim or does have

goal for you to make out profits in the future but if you are aiming for shorter durations then you would really be thinking off that you should be careful on when to get in.

People do mostly buy when the market is recovering and not on the time where everyone is on doubt or in fear that the market might crash even more.
Holding was not hard for the rich people and they could make it for the long term, unlike the others. Although we can't say when is the perfect time to buy Bitcoin or altcoins but as long as we are ready to accept the risk accompanied by this, that seems fine. It just needs courage and trust, but if we come doubtful, any time of the day we been bothered about selling it or hold it.
2363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: October 07, 2021, 01:49:00 PM
I think that Bitcoin is an asset rather than a currency. As long as Bitcoin is not the currency of most countries, I won't be seeing it as a currency like fiat currencies. Bitcoin seems to me like an alternative payment option in some places and the number of these places is increasing every year. But the main thing of Bitcoin is not to become a currency of any country of course. It is more of an asset for people to store their money, make investments into it etc..
Well, it depends on which country we came from but most likely, we take Bitcoin as a form of currency and asset. But for me, I consider this most as a currency. It was not directly I spend my BTC to buy things or to pay bills as I converted it to our local since it was not fully accepted in our country.
I think, but I'm seeing that this somewhat fails as a form of currency only. As long as it was not fully adopted globally, that it remains like that having both as an asset and as a currency. And I don't think there is a need to complain because people are enjoying this as what it was today.
2364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 07, 2021, 12:11:07 PM

The knicks played so solid, the starters played big minutes so they dominated the Pacers. It's a new look Knicks now and once again, I'm seeing the good numbers from Julius Randle, he scored 20 points and played almost 30 minutes, hopefully, this guy will mature and will not tank in the playoffs, it's hard to watch the Knicks struggles because Randle struggles.
Hopefully that will happen. Randle is still young and has a lot to improve.

with the help of those veteran stars who have much deeper experienced he might learn how to balance,
all in all, the guy already gaining star caliber player.

He had experienced a defeat in the playoffs from a team that was expecting him, I'm sure he learn from that mistake already and  although he has a good stats last season, he should realize that there's more to improve as he was limited during the playoffs.

Feels pretty good to have the thread up and running again, I've not been the best fan betting on the preseason, due to the fact that I feel the competition is not up to standard and bets could easily go either ways, but I'll be keeping tabs and maybe tailing one or two.
How about you share mate and we will just tail, kidding! but you can always do so as this thread is for everyone, we are free to tail or fade and for me, I will just tail on a poster that is hot, no questions ask.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 07, 2021, 07:51:33 AM
Anyone will be angry if someone insults him, what else is insulted is: his biological 'mother', well, well, look at this one: Don't talk about my mum! Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez explains how Caleb Plant's family slur led to their on-stage punch-up... warning the American 'you don't want to fight me now'

I think the boxing this time is between Canelo vs. Caleb will be fatal, I think this is no longer boxing to win the championship, but a burning revenge boxing.

The schedule has been set, the tickets have been distributed, inevitably boxing must be carried out, I think this is a big problem between Canelo vs. Caleb, I myself don't like to see Caleb's attitude that has a gay mouth, unprofessional.

Who knows what happened out there for sure? All of this may be scripted, just to get some cheap attention. Perhaps the organizers wanted to fire up the supporters of Canelo, since the ticket sales and PPV buys were low. And it will not be too surprising if the sale figures are low. The maximum interest will be there only if both the sides are of equal strength. Naturally the interest won't be there if one side is expected to dominate the match. That's why there was massive interest in 2017 and 2018, when Canelo fought against Golovkin.

Just check the ticket sales and it looks like there are still some available. Maybe because we still have a month to go, but for sure the press con scuffle really put more hype on the fight, and then every Canelo training video, he always tells us how Caleb is going to pay for disrespecting his mother.

So we don't know if this is scripted or not, because if yes, then Caleb get a mark on his fight. Hopefully  even if the tickets are not sold out, we will see great fight between the two.

I am a bit curious, how are we going to check the ticket sales? Is there a website where we can monitor the total number of tickets sold already and tickets still available? I know this is a hyped fight as what both have done during the press conference creates noise in the boxing world.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 07, 2021, 06:51:28 AM
This is going to be fun watching Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder Main Event Press Conference, and I am sure Fury will try to get under Wilder skin and make him nervous, who is mentally very unstable and immature:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-b3hO_Hw1s

Wilder did seem annoyed and agitated by Fury's trash talk. He does not seem confident at all. This is not the same fighter who once said he wanted a body on his record. Losing in such a devastating manner has changed his personality. If the aggression is not there prior to the fight it makes me question his frame of mind and if he is mentally prepared for the challenge ahead of him.

What happened to Wider, I only watch the first 5 minutes of the video, he seemed not to focus and what was he doing? is he playing music or video game, why wear a headphone during the press conference. I saw him afraid, and I think we will see the worst Wilder in this fight, if the last fight was through stoppage, this time could be a KO.
2367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: online course for trading on: October 06, 2021, 10:19:52 PM
What are the things to keep in mind when looking for an online course for trading?

*legitimacy of the site/source
*site/source feedback
*views (for YouTube)

These things I'd consider most and because a lot of sources we found online, the more we become choosy as some sources are just clickbait. We have to be careful in choosing trading platforms, not just because it was promoted online then we have to follow what they said. It needs thorough research which is very important just for the sake that we are going on the right path.

2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 06, 2021, 03:11:14 PM
~
I do not feel the "need", because surely the government will take regulations after that legalization and I do not want government to ever touch, know nor see the Bitcoins I am holding. Making it illegal would just make the usual transactions hard, since I might need other people around me to either trade or pay something to them.

That regulation is usually what we think when it was legalized by the government but I hope they will just be fair for the user and implementing rules that both the government and the users/investors will agree. That is somewhat a sort of market adjustment but this is could protect the merchants and once it was legalized, we never know many establishments will start to accept Bitcoin as they know that there is a law that could help them.

So definitely, I wanted to be legalized and see our freedom to use whatever we want but it was for legal purposes only.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 06, 2021, 07:17:51 AM
It's really going to be close, I don't see Crawford having more experience. And on the contrary, Porter should have the advantage, he has fought prime welterweights and won against them. And Crawford? his resume is good, but he hasn't fight anyone close to Porter's style. The guy's workrate and chin is unbelievable. But I agree, whoever wins this fight could be in the judges hand and knock out chance is very slim as both have good and tough chin.

Terrence Crawford is undefeated and that can be seen in his record with a 37 wins and 0 KO which gives him a more experience that he could ever have to be able to give a good fight to watch for versus Shawn Porter. Also the odds between the two fighter with Terrance Crawford -400 betting favorite, Shawn Porter +300 underdog this without a doubt will give both fighter a tough fight against each other and finally Crawford has a big g=fight. In this case, I'll bet that this fight will go long till round 12 in favor of Crawford.
If it goes to 12 rounds, Crawford will likely win, I hope Porter knows that os he will work hard and find a way to KO Crawford early. I know it's unlikely as Crawford is undefeated, but Porter always gives a tough fight on the fighters that beat him in his boxing career.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 06, 2021, 06:41:10 AM
New York Nicks VS Indiana Pacers

It is a close odds for these two at stake.com 1.76 for Knicks and 1.96 for the Pacers, and I think both teams will do their best to build momentum for the upcoming regular season, that is why they need a strong preseason campaign, even though heading into the preseason without their key players and have brought back Rick Carlisle as their head coach, I would pick Indiana Pacers even without Caris LeVert because of Stress fracture and Edmond Sumner because of the recent tearing of his Achilles.
Wouldn't they be too disadvantaged if they have two of their good players gone for awhile due to injury? Pretty sure that they're going to have a hard time playing especially if they're a key players to the Pacers.
If on a regular season that's a big disadvantage but during this preseason, it won't matter much.

Just wondering if Knicks stars will play? I really love seeing DRose playing healthy once again, with Walker and Fournier to back him
These two stars can bring good impact to their offense.

Knicks coach needs to balance all his guards. They are all good chemistry will be the big factor here, if all the players will help each other
they might be coming back to the playoffs again.

2371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nft hype-cyvle is over? on: October 05, 2021, 11:17:28 PM
maybe it is but for me id say that nft hype is still there because everywhere i go i can always see nft projects or ads about nft  .
like cryptos , nft can also experience a bad times because not all times people have money to buy an nft and sometimes people that are involved in nft sold their nft's for cash .
september is over and october have started rolling on , let see if what will be the nft's performance this month .
Only just a few of them get into the rally while some are in the downtrend. This means that not all of these projects have the potential and investors leaving them to find another project. This has been happening to ICO projects, some survive from the crisis while the others die. NFT will keep its momentum as long as investors could still make some profit from them but for the moment that they have gone, NFT's will also follow. That is how the crypto market works and only those old and potential coins will stay long-term.
2372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is telling people you're into stocks "cool" but crypto is a big secret? on: October 04, 2021, 11:04:04 PM
Ever noticed how people would boast or proudly proclaim (or at least used to) that they invest and trade stocks, but they don't feel the same way about crypto, as if it's a secret never to be shared? Why is that?

As they don't want to criticize and been told that they are investing in a scam. Well, that is what they know and most of the people around that investing crypto don't have better ends, but just losing. Well, that simply they hide it just the time has come they will prove them that they are wrong.
I keep secret, and I don't think it was a need for the people around to know what we are doing. Well, the stock market is known and that is how people got praise because they think that it was profitable(yes it was) but crypto is now the trend when it comes to investing and is much more profitable which don't see.
2373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: October 04, 2021, 09:52:58 PM
over the weekend bitcoin recovered back to $34K after going below $30k and early this money the market jumped to above $38k breaking the $35k market bench mark, a move that many will see as a bull market movement. am very optimistic that in the coming days of the week bitcoin market is going to make a significant upward movement that will make it price recover back to it all time price of $64k and there after recording a new all time high.
what are your takes on the current bitcoin market movement.
In my opinion, the bitcoin market movement is currently undergoing a correction. It was the aftermath of the sell-off due to concerns about the banning effect of China Evergrande Group and investors focusing on the policy direction of the United States central bank, the Federal Reserve. But I think this decline is still within reasonable limits considering Bitcoin still has the potential to increase again.
Correction is probably over as it has bounced back already and it looks like it's going uptrend. Although we don't ascertain the future, based on the trend, it looks like bitcoin is gonna end bullish in the last quarter, at least that's the status now so far.
2374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 04, 2021, 09:31:34 PM

the over/under betting line is more attractive to place bet if you don't want to bet on full time for canelo, as it will only give you small profit if he wins. a lil more than a month from now, we will see a very interesting fight. by the way, it seems their tickets are not yet sold out so we will see if they can get good number of actual audience  here. at least, we are seeing live matches now with live audience.

I like to see the over/under line, I'll probably bet on the under here as I expect a KO win by Canelo, and with what happened during the press conference, I think Canelo has the motivation to KO Caleb Plant and the fight will end before 6 rounds.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2021, 11:25:42 PM

What do you think can be the biggest threat for Bitcoin in current situation? In my opinion it can be only some sudden governments shift in regulations and laws to ban Bitcoin (which I don't really think may happen), otherwise there are basically no obstacles or threats.
This has been asked almost 1 year ago and I think this was the right moment to answer this question.

Well, it has to hear that some countries are keeping hated Bitcoin like China, some countries who ban crypto were also lifting it, and while had officially legalized this. Those countries who already adopt and legalize crypto will surely be imposing laws and strict regulations but I'd never find this as a threat for crypto but seeing this as additional protection to all crypto holders unless we are doing illegal activities.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I got attracted by Goma Finance. on: October 01, 2021, 04:02:04 PM
I don't really know about this project but I got attracted with the project.
Goma Shiba Inu is another project I so much love despite their total supply and yet the price kept increasing, as a holder there are some percentage of the token being distributed in every transactions that occurs.
Do you think it's worth holding for long term?
Already listed on CMC https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/goma-finance/
You could do your analysis and I appreciate your response.
Being listed on the CMC was not our assurance that this project is worth buying nor that it has market potential and in fact, a lot of people become victims of this scam. Yeah, I call it a scam for this somewhat become a trick just to attract investors and that is why we should not be confident enough, research is still very important before making any judgement otherwise, we fall into their hands.
And since it has a pending scam accusation issue, that makes no sense to follow this project. Much better to find reliable and old existing projects as we know their capabilities already.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why NFTs projects are not making wave-like ICOs on: October 01, 2021, 03:23:02 PM
Interesting...
Well, you know part of what attracted alot of people to ICO was the "attractive" and "useful" projects that were promoted. Many people invested because they believed that useful things are being built or would be built.   Today, things that make little to no sense are promoted as NFTs and there are those that sold for alot of money. Guess people are realizing they need to focus on the use cases more and not just the money.
Now that people had realized the importance of being usable in the market rather than the name, NFT's become not their interest. As I can see on the market now, the more projects created the more they become useless, just like how these NFTs projects will end. Maybe these NFT games can manage to survive but I don't think the others will help themselves to recover, well, they don't as to see.
2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 01, 2021, 01:19:47 PM
Donaire is nearing to to His prime and i think in a matter of time he might decide to but of course the main reason why he don't wanna do this is because still wanted to rematch against Inoue in which will surely a big fight to happen.
This is one of the best game ever to happen as Donaire is a best fighter after Manny Pacquiao , while Gaballo is one of the toughest Boxer of these days now.
Only a champion could retire Donaire and I don't think he will have a hard time beating Gaballo in this fight knowing this kid does not play good defense. The left hook and the counter punch of Donaire is so effective to an opponent that is aggressive and does not play defense, so Gaballo better watch out.
But Gaballo is undefeated, that's another thing that would still make Gaballo confident in this fight.

You know, Gaballo knows that if he beats Donaire, it will raise him up to have big fights in the future, like a chance of fighting Inoue or his fellow countryman Casimero. Of course, that's just one of the scenarios (least likely to happen) but it's possible since Gaballo would also train hard to win and achieve his ultimate goal to become a champion in this division.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 01, 2021, 06:42:19 AM

I think it's Sultan that was more experienced but Caraballo's dangerous resume of only having KOs on all his fight is the best  stat could ever have in this fight to side for. They both are in their primes and I guess that's how exhilarating this fight was.

This is such an interesting fight to watch both fighters are very promising and both hungry to get a world title crack, and this may well be a fight that could push them into the limelight, its power versus technicality between the two, I'm into technicality here we have seen how a technical boxer like Usyk beat a power puncher like Joshua.
I still believe Sultan is very much capable of beating Graballo.

We will see that.

Their style could change depending on who they are fighting, while a fighter who always win via KO, means he is really aggressive and would always go for a kill, sometimes, that's also a weakness because it made him underestimate the power of his opponent as he wants to KO right way.

Just try to reflect on the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight (their last fight), on that fight, Pacquiao was already going for a kill, but he didn't know Marquez still has the strength so, with a good counterpunch, Pacquiao got KO and hit the canvas.

This young fighter will only learn once they experience getting KO.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 01, 2021, 05:54:43 AM
I think Donaire will retire right after he can fight Casimero, but if that does not happen sooner then I think Donaire will step down as a professional boxer like Manny Pacquaio did. Given the age Donaire he's the most likely retiring few years from now after Manny Pacquaio.

But let's look forward to this all Filipino fight showdown soon after this mandatory fights that the WBO ordered.
What??? I don't think that will be the case or worst is "they won't fight at all". His retirement has been a talk even way back 2015 I guess but doesn't happen yet and I guess the one that making the noise is when he makes a rematch with Inoue and if that happens by the next year then I'm expecting that year will be his retirement year too.
Donaire would only retire if he loses against Inoue in a rematch, the fight between Casimero is unlikely to happen as these two does not agree to fight anymore, they are just chasing their opportunity to fight Inoue, hence they should win their mandatory fight in order for that to happen.
