2441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: September 10, 2021, 03:31:01 PM
After witnessing Bitcoin price to fall down very sharply by $10k, we see it at $45k now. It looks like it will need to break the $50k resistance again if it starts recovering soon. But Bitcoin is having a difficulty in even breaking the current resistance level as people started selling their coins. Panic sellers are helping the destruction of the market now. The coming days can bring about even a lower price than this but I hope that it won't happen.
Most of the time, there was a strong recovery after its correction but I'm not going to say it was in the same scenario we may see after this current decline. It is for now that $50k is the resistance price but for sure it was subject to change depending on the market flow. We might not know that the next surge will be reaching $60k, can't disclose such a chance knowing that the current demand for Bitcoin is really high.
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Litecoin? on: September 10, 2021, 12:50:00 PM
Litecoin is very interesting in exchange, everyone will not reject it, many people have looked at litecoin for exchange because of the cheap gas costs, actually litecoin is a coin meme that has been around for a long time because this year there have been several corrections, all coins have decreased and some of them have reached ATH and I also use litecoin for exchange in wallets at the moment
is this serious LTC is a meme coin? what are the actual meme coin criteria? so you put LTC in that category?
LTC itself is not so much market movement. following the trend shaped by bitcoin and not much going on.
we can see LTC actually has a fairly high trading community.
LTE is not a meme coin, it's not like a DOGECOIN and currently, I believe LTC is undervalued since the hype is on the new coins in the market. LTC only has 66,752,615 supply, I think the price is too low compared to its supply and therefore there's a possibility that it will pump again.

We should also not question if it's dead or not because LTC still has a decent trading volume with over $3 billion on average daily based on the record in CMC.

So far, we haven't seen the maximum for this year.
Not yet but this coin is worth watching for.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: September 10, 2021, 11:19:46 AM
I think but the hype of the cryptocurrency is not like ending so early. From the moment the Cryptocurrency starts, you can see that when a hype ends, a new hyte is created. Last few years ago, everyone was able to see that ICO hype was a lot. When ICO Hype was over, the new hype was created. Then IDO Hype was created. When we all saw the end of the IDO the currency moved towards the new hype NFT . So I believe Cryptocurrency Hype is not going to end so early because when a lost end comes to the market with a new hype. I believe Cryptocurrency will build a new hype again in the future before the Hype of the NFT is over.
The hype will continue as we are an evolving market, there are new projects that are introduced and since the supply is limited, the price would always be volatile as people love to speculate. The more money will enter, the more the market will be volatile, hence the hype will stay and we should accept that already.

The way to earn in crypto is to understand the nature of the market, know how the market will react to every news and speculation.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Wants Your Opinion on: September 10, 2021, 10:47:38 AM
Cz is pro bitcoin, of course, he would say more positive news about bitcoin and he wants to expect us that there will be more countries to legalize bitcoin. Well, El Salvador makes bitcoin legal tender, they will be the barometer for other countries, especially for those who experience a high inflation problem, if that results in the economic growth of El Salvador, then possibly other countries will follow.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 10, 2021, 06:09:27 AM
Maybe the Sixers can get a good players in exchange of Ben from those future picks that will be included and not trade Ben one on one with franchise players.

Maybe because there's no other team that is willing to trade to acquire Simmons in exchange for their star player. I don't see any player now being a star player that was criticized than Ben Simmons, so he is really a problem to his team and I don't know if they can sell him the value they expect to receive.

you are right, they are sending silver for gold, that's not fair.

Sixers think they should be the one who would dictate the trade because they got Simmons who is an all around player, but other teams see it differently because they will not trade Simmons if the sixers management thinks he is still a valuable player that they can keep for the long run.

how about this?

NBA betting: The Warriors are the favorites to land Ben Simmons if the Sixers trade him
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Choosing the right time for profit on: September 09, 2021, 11:18:47 PM
Almost all coins experience bullish and bearish times, if you believe the coin you are holding is good, keep it even in bearish conditions, if in doubt please sell when the price is good. We are often trapped by selling a low price for a good coin when buying it at a high price because we are worried that the price will go down even more.
That it comes into panic selling where most newbies had experienced such a thing. If they can manage to control their emotions, this will not happen to them. However, choosing the right time for profit is less possible to find especially when we are in this thing. To invest must consist of some patience. If we are thinking about instant returns from our investment, this certainly won't work.
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: September 09, 2021, 08:45:46 PM
I think Nonito has done that, so it's time for Casimero to step up and hopefully he will fare good against Inoue here, even if the chance are very slim.

Agree with that, Nonito has done that and soon he will also have to retire like Manny as he is not getting any younger. Casimero is on his prime, may not the best boxer in his division now but he is up for the biggest challenge by beating Inoue who is an undefeated fighter of Japan.

He is already 38 years old, still has power with him as he won in his last fight, but age will eventually catch him up, not yet in his 40s but 38 years old is already old in boxing. I think he only has few fights left in him, and if he gets beaten in his next fight, then probably he will think of retiring so he was really looking for a big fight and the big fight that he wants is against Inou.

We can all call now that Ben is over rated player? Just passing skills and then no shooting?
He is not IMO, why would we only criticize him now when he was already playing for many seasons, and in his first season, we were impressed by his performance and thought he would be the next big start in the NBA.
With his stats, a lot of teams will be interested to get him, but if the 76ers will not reduce its value in a trade, no trade will happen as no player will give up their best player for Ben Simmons who is not a complete player yet. The pressure is on the 76ers because if they will just sit him, Simmons will become a dead investment on their part, not a wise way to manage the business whom they invested millions of dollars.
2449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you scared? on: September 09, 2021, 04:05:39 PM
I don't just to wonder why people are just saying on the negative side when seeing sudden drops, most they are panic and thinking for the worse scenario which I don't that really it happens.
I don't care how much it drops in the past few days, I'm not selling any. If you have just trusted Bitcoin during the Bullish season that mist also it happen during the bear season. But somehow, it is likely different and most people got into panic selling after hearing fakes news.
2450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your thoughts On the crypto trading simulator? on: September 08, 2021, 10:53:33 PM

every pro also in the forum will tell you that the demo is very different from the real market so if you wanna learn to trade, just do it at risk of money. just put a little risk so you will have some pressure that you are going to lose some amount, this way you will find a way not to lose.

And we can't learn more if we are afraid to lose a few dollars. We need to invest in this if we wanted to enhance our knowledge and gains some experience as this was a vital tool in enhancing our trading skills. $100 as the starting capital may not be big enough to lose and we can really familiar the market with that amount because if we are too careful and wise in making a decision, we can't lose that $100 instantly.
Only we need to continue doing research and watch online tutorials rather than relying on worthless signals.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Choosing the right time for profit on: September 08, 2021, 10:18:17 PM
This is really how crypto works and never have found the perfect time when to buy and when to sell, and having a good profit is likely depending on us. If we are too emotional in all dumps and pumps, it is most likely we miss the better opportunity and this is how patients applied. If we are too naive to understand the situation, I can just imagine a short stay in the market, and later on, we just quit.
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin fall need a reason? on: September 08, 2021, 11:40:13 AM
Probably look at the big picture, bitcoin fell and it's a huge fall but it's not that bad knowing it's normal in the crypto space.

Actually, I don't see any bad news that causes the dump, but I believe the main reason for the dump is the whales, they are playing the market again with their power to manipulate, and I tell it's not new to us.

Just relax man, instead, try to buy as this is an opportunity.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: September 08, 2021, 11:18:54 AM
If we destine to lose let's accept but if we  win it's a good luck ,an we all know in gambling wether you win or you will lose and that would be defend in the fate of your the game. Having no control or lack of control it can leads you nothing cause a person who greed to win and if not responsible to play in the gambling and all of the labored will be gone.
Well, most of the time the destiny was to lose and it's an acceptable matter in the first place. That's the thing most gamblers lack and the fact is even people who aren't new will still fall on that behavior - lack of control.

I think few gamblers only, because if we believe most gambler has that kind of problem, then probably gambling should not exist as it's not good for the majority of people. The fact that gambling sites are still profitable is because addiction is just a small problem and it's happening to some people only, of course, only those who are not responsible.
2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: September 08, 2021, 08:46:19 AM

So is there an unfair judgment here?
That's what happened. They allow the fight, since they accept the alibi from Valdez camp.
Alibi should be valid that's why the fight continues. It's not us who will judge and though we think it's quite biased but they know their job and they are just implementing it based on their knowledge of what is right. Let's not talk about it anymore, instead, let's see how this fight will go and is the favorite really here has the big edge to win, or he is just overvalued?
Before I go to the issue, where do you guys put your bet at for this match? It's not available in Stake.com. The only boxing bout available is the Holyfield vs Belfort fight.
About the drug issue, he was tested twice and the first was positive then negative on August 30. But social media analysts and boxing community are trying to pin them down with the basic logic of he is positive, so he should be disqualified. "He cheated, don't give him a chance", something like that.
One thing is for sure, he is tested negative already so that's it. As long as he fights fair and square then the game is on. There is also a part that the boxing business is trying to get back what they loss from the pandemic and they will do everything to prevent postponing the fight.

It's not available also on the betting sites I'm using, if it's not in stake.com, then probably it's not also available yet in other crypto sites. I see the odds in https://www.betfair.com/sport/boxing/boxing-matches/oscar-valdez-v-robson-conceicao/30878073.. maybe anyone here is using it can put their bet now. For crypto betting sites, maybe they'll make the odds available 24 hours before the fight, just like the old unpopular fights.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: September 07, 2021, 09:21:43 PM
This is what Oscar Valdez says:

Quote
"I have never used banned substances to improve my performance. I never have and never will. I am respectful of anti-doping tests since my time as an amateur and now as a professional," Valdez said.

"And since I've been a professional I have undergone more than 30 anti-doping tests, which is something we always ask for and we make sure that [drug testing] is in the contract, to do the VADA tests to keep the sport clean and to make sure that no one has any advantage."

https://www.boxingscene.com/oscar-valdez-i-never-banned-substances-improve-my-performance--160320

Yeah, we take his word, but seriously, how can someone who says who didn't take any ban substance was caught here? His A and B sample turns out to be positive, if it is only A sample, probably he get it from somewhere else, but both his samples are positive.

So I agree with some posters that he might have used this one to mask some other substance, or his condition coach forgot about the recycling calendar.

We are not experts in this area, let's leave it to the expert I guess. The fact that the fight still continues despite the findings, that would only say that he did not violate any rules and therefore there's no reason to speculate that he should be ban or sanction for being positive of such drugs substances.

What do you mean by 'experts" though? Urine and blood samples don't lie, he was tested twice and come up to be positive.

I'm not an expert in this area, but Valdez is not denying the fact that he has failed the drug test. But his defense is that he didn't used any drugs. So we will just have to used our common sense here as who is telling the truth or not. Science or Valdez himself, make your choice.

Anyhow, as @bisdak40 said, just a couple more days and we will see this fight. Still a must watch fight.

So is there an unfair judgment here?

He was tested positive for ban substances and does the fight still continues?
What does it implicate to the boxing organization? Are they now more on the money than the reputation of the sport?

Lots of questions in our mind now but it will never change the decision since the fight still continues, and probably they know how it would impact so it's not a big deal I guess.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 07, 2021, 08:54:04 PM
The game of basketball, especially the NBA has a huge changes. Flopping was a part of the game even before, but because of the physicality soft fouls was usually uncalled. So, players like LeBron, Harden, and others who didn't get enough calls will exaggerate the contact, thus flopping will be the result. The calls was changed too, they added too many soft calls that even taunting an opponent after a highlight moves will be a technical foul today.
Also, the defense was also changed maybe because of the range the players can do to score today.

I feel like soft calls should be called. Because if soft calls are uncalled, physical players as you mentioned like (Lebron or Harden) will somewhat abuse that. That does not help in a tactical point of view in my opinion. Yes, physicality in a sport is important, but I don't want it to get prioritized over the tactical side of the game.

The soft calls like hand checking fouls are terrible for game flow.  It stops the momentum of the game and general watchability.  Allowing for some physical play also gets rivals going.  Watching in the 80s and 90s was so much better than now.

I really missed those times, players are not relying so much on their 3 point shooting, they are more into physical plays like driving inside to score and get fouled. I guess the NBA organization has realized that if they will not make it soft, their players will easily be injured and their investment will be at risk, so I don't think we will ever see the 80's-90's style in NBA again.
2457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull market is back on: September 07, 2021, 03:44:35 PM
And base on the previous performance of Bitcoin during BER season, it is mostly in the pumps and this will likely have to see this year again. That is why I remain on the positive side. Though market corrections can't be stopped, perhaps it is a part of crypto, recoveries are still to see right away. I leave the confidence that we still keep in the range of $50k-$60k until the end of this year. But I'm not sure if it retains early next year as many people might spend and sell their Bitcoins during Christmas day.
2458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: September 06, 2021, 11:44:59 PM
You can recommend your friend any time to buy Bitcoin actually unless he is a panic seller.  Grin  If your friend likes long term investments more than short term ones, Bitcoin is the number one choice I believe. Your friend can still buy at this level also considering he already bought BTC after some time you posted this. We are still not in a bull market but the price continues to increase. I can't even imagine what would happen when a bull run starts.
It is important also to know the capabilities of the person you wanted to tell and to clearly understand that really it happens once you have been doing this. Because so many cases that blaming has been happening when they suffer losses due to their own fault. That is why we need for them to understand the situation and the risk in investing crypto so they can solely decide it with their well, not ours so this helps to avoid blaming each other.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your investing Strategy on: September 06, 2021, 11:11:58 PM
Doesn't need long complicated answers - just a simple question:

Do you invest
1. mainly on price/the market trends
2. mainly on the underlying usefulness of the token/NFT
3. pretty even split of the two.

In my case, my way of investing is to split them into those two categories you've mentioned. Actually they're connected that is why I use them both as a basis if it is good or bad to invest to a particular coin/token. As of now, I also had chosen to invest on those NFT projects, especially those NFT games that are currently booming like Axie Infinity and Plants vs Undead.

Currently looking for more potential NFT games, you might want to mention some guys, thanks Wink
I suggest you not focus on NFT projects. I know it was your choice but it was risky to put an egg in a single basket but rather to spread your investment into more potential coins like Bitcoin, ETH, and BNB for the long term. NFT's projects are in their prime, many had made a lot of money but worried about how its sustainability. And besides, only NFT games had made the great pump while many of them just are dead now. You should think it again.
2460  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: September 03, 2021, 08:46:23 PM
Don't invest in crypto if you don't put money on bitcoin, bitcoin should own the largest portfolio in your account as the market is heavily relying on bitcoin. Try to observe the market or check the history, there's no time that altcoins had a good pump while bitcoin is dumping, it does not happen as bitcoin owns the biggest dominance in the market, hence, you can't neglect to invest in it if you want to be profitable and a little safer with your investment.
