341  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: February 07, 2018, 08:52:05 PM
I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?

No, bitcpins are not dead, their price are just going pn a downfall this days and its been months sinces it last pump but it doesn't mean that they are dead. It jist mean that the bitcoins need oir help to support them a little bit nore. Because they are going down because a lot of the people selling their cpins but when we all buy again a lot of bitcoins they will surely gonna invest again because they will gonna rise again to the market.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: February 07, 2018, 01:45:59 PM
Have you ever wondered how would the world's economy be like in the future as a cashless society?

Perhaps, with the increased traction of blockchain acceptance nowadays, could lead to the creation of digital fiat currencies powered by blockchains that are managed by governments themselves. With this in mind, there would be no need for physical cash, as digital fiat currencies would provide many advantages such as quick settlement, global payments, full transparency, implants use on citizens to make payments, and more.

If this becomes a reality, which I'm sure that it will, it would radically transform our lives for the better and reduce criminal activity as a result of the full transparency and auditability that a digital fiat currency would have thanks to the power of the blockchain technology.

Also, it makes me wonder if cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin would exist by that time, or will they co-exist with digital fiat currencies.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this.  Wink

For me it is hard to be a cashless society because not all people are technology literate especially those poeple whp are poor or in the lower calss of the society. Those poeple who doesn't have phones, how can they access cashless society. Porr people cannot cope up with those things. So dor me it will take a long period of time before that will be exist but for me they can both co exists sp that would be much better.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: February 07, 2018, 12:58:34 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?

Yes ethereum price is getyinf higher in the market and it is like a threat for bitcoins since bitcoins are falling today and ethereum are falling too but yheir price is not thay far. But i dont think that the ethereum will surpass bitcoins since the bitcoins are the pioneer in this business they will remain unbeaten. I know that the bitcoins will rise up back in the market bedore this year ends and they will become prime again.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: February 07, 2018, 03:25:25 AM
With the unpredictable changes in bitcoin price people have chose to hold instead of day trading,I mean the majority have.
How risky is day trading at the moment?

For me day trading is very risky especially when youbare just getting started to this kind of business in this kind of work you are gonna have a hard time before coping up to the right thing. And at first you are gonna lose some money especially when you are a beginner you do not know the basics it hard to blend it but if you are really dedicated you will win a lot of trafes and will win back all the losses you ever comit.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people want Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2018, 01:08:52 PM
Why do people want Bitcoin?

Bitcoins act as new currencies in the digital age. It can cross borders without any banks or governments.

The recent boom in Bitcoin may be great news for those who put money here early. But it also made it possible for Bitcoin to become a distant currency.

I can now use my Bitcoin number to buy stuff at Overstock or book a hotel at Expedia. But if I use Bitcoin to buy $ 25 on the Overstock today, and next week Bitcoin prices will increase fourfold, I'll feel that stock is $ 100. If Bitcoin loses its price, at least I still have the stock to use.

Bitcoins are considered as a kind of asset, instead of currency, with great profit expectations later on.

People qant bitcoins because they now have the freedom in their money that they all ever qanted because some people do not want taxes and bitcoins on the other hand are decentralized and no one source so there are no added taxes into them bit only fees. And they are gaining in bitcoins compared to other fiat. Bitcoins allows them to hold and save their money and at the same time that mpney can hav the possibility to grow in the market.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: January 31, 2018, 12:19:38 PM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

For me yes we really need altcoin just for variety because we all know the humans, we are not contented in only one thing we need a lot of chioces and it is also gonna be nothing if there are only one coins that will be use by the whole world that would be ridiculous. And in case that the coins will be down you atilp have spare one. Amd some coins you might not wanted so they add more and they are all unique in their all ways.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: January 25, 2018, 01:54:14 PM
i like it a lot because this crypto i change how to make study hard.. like when im schooling before, and now same crypto before you move forward in all coin make sure study first. in crypto i make profitable income he even not much. also all ico token its like a lot also they also make your profit if you joined thier project.

Cryptocurrency really can change our lives me too even though your statement is not that clear i am getting the thought ypu were trying to say. Cryptocurrency especially bitcoins change me it is risly but when you learn the basics and you got usef to the loss you wipp be 100% in to it. Because if you received the money the profit you all been waiting for the pleasure and the success is there and all those loss you made can win that back with a single win.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PURCHASE BITCOIN? on: January 25, 2018, 01:07:11 PM
Good day friends,

Since the emergency of bitcoin, which now serves as a model for other cryptocurrencies, there have been a massive surge of other cryptocurrencies, ICOs, coin price fluctuations and other market changes.

These changes if well monitored and studied can cause geometric increase in one's fortune but on the flip side, these changes can also liquidate one's capital.

So many pros have managed to create some undocumented rules on how they trade based on their experiences in coin market.

Now this post is aimed solely at those rules that have kept you in the game(bitcoin and other cryptos trading) all these years.let's share with us,our wealth of experiences, our rules and our strategies because it is said that Iron sharpens iron.

Let's hear you.

For me it is today because the bitcoins value are falling in the market it is kind of alarming and almost all that i know that are investing in bitcoins which are my friends are now somehow scared of what it happening. But i always said to them that the bitcoins will not fall entirely because they are just getting started to be known. I think the negative news about them is the one that affects the price people are getting away.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: January 25, 2018, 12:48:41 PM
I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?

For me it is time to buy cryptocurrency because almost every successful coins in the market are falling so it is an advantage to us investors. Just dont be scared just like what everybody feels because nothings gonna happen if you keep thinking the negative side. Just wonder that those huge investors will not let the coins to fall down so they will not totally fall it is just a matter of fluctuation just keep calm and continue doing cryptocurrency.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: January 25, 2018, 10:05:12 AM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.

Yes it is true because being afraid can lead you into wrong decisions as always because if you are afraid you cannot think that properly so you might end up getting a lower profit or panic selling when the price drops. You need to stay calm and act professional and have a lot of patience especially in this kind of job because you cannot always win and you cannot immediately get the money it takes time and effort.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 25, 2018, 08:47:24 AM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

For me it matters becausebtgat determine what are the value of those coins that we use to hold. If bitcoins price are stavle5 i bet that they will not be used and recognize lilke this. Maybe businessmen are the ones that will just accept and use bitcoins if that is the case. But no the bitcoins are volatile and the price really matters. When they drop a lot of people are panicking and when they go to the moon a lot of people are selling.
352  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: January 25, 2018, 07:30:08 AM
I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?

I also wondering that thing then i think maybe those people hate taxes so they want to make their own currency but they fo not meant it to be use by a lot of people but because of the rising of technology the other people wants until it comes to the point that it is now a digital currency that are acceptes. Or maybe ut is just meant for businessmen who wants an easy and fast way of transactions. And yes they are dangerous because of being volatile and decentralize but it depends on us if we want tp be engage.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: January 25, 2018, 06:55:39 AM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

Very well said, sp to those people who are saying that bitcoins are scam no there not ypu need to be engage in this fpr a long period of time before saying that bitcoins are scam because those bitcoins that are getting scam is not really a victim on butcpins but a victim of a scammer people whonare using the image of bitcoins in order for them to not be blame when the scam is already done. So be aware of what really butcoins are and dont trust people that much.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince the people to invest in Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 08:19:41 AM
How do you convince the people to invest in Bitcoin?  When most of the people around doesn't believe on Bitcoin because for them Bitcoin is just computer thing...

I am just saying that bitcoins is gonna give you a huge money with just and easy way then i will let them see all of my bitcoins that are in my wallet. Then some are getting convinced and they are asking me how to get startes then today they are gaining money just like me. And some just pick to stat away from.this things because they are afraid to lose moneybat all because i also say to them the negative parts of bitcoins.
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy some BTC? on: January 18, 2018, 11:48:20 AM
The market is Still Looking Dull Due To KOREA's Unclear Statement. Still Market is Going through that FUD.
BTC is so cheap now. Do you think it is time to buy some BTC?

There is a part of me that is no and there is a lot of part in me that are yes because bitcoins are falling and i do not know if they are going to rise up immediately amd if i ever invested i always want tp get my money back. But in longterm investment it is a good way to biy bitcoins today because as what the bitcoins holders are saying the bitcoins will reach $50k in the market so if you have hokdings in that day you will me rich.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: January 18, 2018, 10:49:29 AM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

I do not recommend to invest all of your savings because if those ccoims that you invested in will fall what will happen to you. And if you invest them it is hard to get them immediately if uou needed a money and ut has a fees so it will be a reduce to you also. But they way you divide the percentage is good for me because bitcoins are still the prime so they will be the highest percentage but i want to replace litecoins by ripple
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold or Sell on: January 18, 2018, 06:59:47 AM
today the price of BTC is down by -36%.
For those of you Bitcoin owners what are your plans in these circumstances?
  • Hold your Bitcoin?
  • Selling Your Bitcoin?
and would you like to give me a reason. thanks. Smiley

If you are asking me what to do i am going to day that i am gonna hold it because i am not going to cut off my loss because that is a huge lose 36% as what you memtiomed. Ibwill wait until the bitcoins price will rise again up to $20k and after that i will sell it because that is the last higest of them and i will not wait until another record breaking because maybe that might happen in a short period of time.
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price recover? on: January 17, 2018, 10:34:27 PM
Early 2018 bitcoin prices slumped. When will the bitcoin price recover? How is your prediction?

It is hard to day that the bitcoins will recober if everytime you look at the market the bitcoins value falls and always at red. But i am still hoping that the bitcoins will rise again because some rumors are saying that the bitcoins price will pump up to $50k in the market but even if they not achieve that i hope it will be more than $20k and when that happen i will sellnow all of my coins and start another one because it is hard to lose a lot.
359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: January 15, 2018, 07:02:07 PM
Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?

When i see that the price of the coins is pretty much larger than it used to be. Because i just join in a bounty campaigns and i am not selling those bounty rewards that are giving to me unless the price is right. If i know that i will gain a lot of money in it. Because the fees are getting expensibe these days and it is gard tp sell coins in a lower price so if the price is grat as i calculated it it is good for me to sell it.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: January 15, 2018, 11:28:47 AM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?

I do not think so that bitcoins will be a national currency because they are decentralized and the government wont allow that to happen because they want to have control of the monetary unit.the second one is the bitcoins are volatile and the people do not want to.lose money even without doing anything they just always want the gaining part not the losing part. But for me they can co exist with our moneys used as an alternate money.
