Yay LINDA is back online at Cryptopia!   Now, no sell-offs please!   Grin
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 19, 2017, 10:19:12 PM

Check out some of the sub $500 masternodes on https://masternodes.pro/ - there's quite a few, and if you set one up you can make more coin while you're holding it, reducing your risk and with a good potential for the price going up over time as well.

343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin to be come millionaire from $10000? on: September 19, 2017, 10:06:45 PM

Check out SYNX and Neutron on https://masternodes.pro/ - they are both still quite cheap, but there are stirrings of dev activity in these that could mean a big return if you get in now and use the masternodes to make more coin in the mean time.

344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: September 19, 2017, 10:04:20 PM

Check out CRAVE and PIVX and other masternode coins on https://masternodes.pro/, they have a decent return and more stability because of the locked up capital.

345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: September 19, 2017, 01:48:52 PM
For a PIVX masternode you have to wait 1 day, then it pays every 1.5 days ... so you should get first payment after starting the masternode between 1 and 2.5 days!

No I had to wait longer than that, they were new PIVX nodes and it took many days for the first reward to come through.

Here is a setup doc that mentions the initial payment delay time https://forum.pivx.org/t/how-to-check-if-masternode-is-working-and-will-receive-payments/70.

My personal experience has been that Crave MNs are definitely faster starting than PIVX MNs, but there can still be a bit of a delay for the first payout. Also if a MN falls out of the reward queue for some reason it goes to the back of the line.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: portfolio for one year on: September 19, 2017, 12:12:13 PM
Look into masternode coins with an ROI - they reduce the risk of holding the coin because in the end you have more of them. Even if the price goes down unless something drastic happens you should be able to generate the difference to what you paid initially.

Also, these coins less likely to experience big selloffs because of the locked up capital.

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: September 19, 2017, 12:01:12 PM
dear all, i built up a masternode. I can see my node in the masternodes tab and it's running since 2 days. I didn't get a payment so far. How long do I have to wait? Just asking because I am not sure if everything is setup as expected :-). Or is there another way to check if my masternode is doing fine? thanks.

If the time in the masternode list is greater than 00:00 that's a good sign it's ok, and otherwise if you're running a remote node you can type ./craved masternode debug - if it says it's started then all is well.

The MN is in the list and showing greater than 00:00 yes. But the public key shown in the list doesn't match with the public key when typing masternode status in the console.
BTW I started the MN though console and not through the CREATE MN option in the GUI. Maybe this is the issue...? My collateral is on the address mentioned in the GUI MN list. hmmm?
I've just run that on one of my nodes and the string is different as well, so I don't think that means much.  If the time is greater than 00:00 that means it's working, so keep waiting, it is quite a random process.

For a PIVX masternode you have to wait at least 5 days before getting a reward, I think there's a startup delay with most masternodes so it could be that, and it should be more steady after the first reward comes in.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: September 19, 2017, 11:16:44 AM

Stop hyping your own coins. There's no proof that your coins will go up.
I'm going to quite a part from Acoin ANN original post:

Quote
Acoin was designed from the ground up with many new ideas implemented.

And that's it lol. No explanation what ideas or anything  Roll Eyes

In theory lower supply should equal greater value over time compared to say bitcoin supply.  My current thoughts are as long as there's a market, the coin is sound and the amount available for sale is limited, it should become worth more relative to other coins with higher creation rates or current circulation.

Other coins have bigger teams of course, I think ARK and LISK are great projects, PIVX could go far with Zero Coin, and CRAVE has interesting economics because of the low supply and requirement for MN setup.

I think 100x is possible for many coins, and we're in a speculation thread so does it matter if people advocate what they think will do well?

If it all holds together, I think maybe LINDA coin could be the next 100x - it hasn't been around for that long, and was as low as 3 sat just a few weeks ago.

Get into some high ROI'ing Masternode Coins: https://masternodes.pro/   And of course, my fave CRAVE!   Grin
Crave website pages always crash. I cannot read details about Crave. I prefer to buy Monero and Waves for today.

Do you mean the CraveProject site, or which website pages are not working?

Windows isn't that bad now, but yes Linux is better I agree (if only because there's less malware written for it).  You also have to be careful with your private keys, not even Linux can save you from that Smiley
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: September 19, 2017, 09:12:19 AM
CRAVE only has 1.37 Million coins - it's one of the most undervalued coins around in my opinion.

And you can make more of them while you're waiting for people to catch on to how awesome it is  Grin
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a coin developer? on: September 19, 2017, 09:07:17 AM

This area of development is a tricky business, I've been developing business software for about 20 years and that's a walk in the park compared to someone that can do cross platform C programming and has extensive knowledge of cryptography.

I want to start getting into it more by building by own version of the SYNX wallet and merging in some some of the freezing fixes for practice.  Then maybe look into the broken encrypted chat feature in the Crave wallet.

354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is everyone's top 5 Crypto to invest in and why on: September 19, 2017, 08:28:16 AM
For me, some of the better ROI'ing masternode coins on https://masternodes.pro/ - Some are pretty junky and don't trade with any great volume.  Others have been around for awhile and have great potential.  My top 5 list right now is:

PIVX
CROWN
CRAVE
NEUTRON
SYNX

EDIT: + LINDA

As an example with CRAVE you get around 1.45 a day, CROWN is 4.5-9 a day, LINDA up to 200K a day.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mysterium - investment advice on: September 19, 2017, 08:19:45 AM

Look into Masternode coins as well (yes, like CRAVE  Smiley )  but there's lots more to evaluate on https://masternodes.pro/.

I used to just see coins as things to buy and hold until I heard about Dash masternodes and the idea of a Passive Income coin (very Rich Dad / Poor Dad if you've read that book)  Then got I into PIVX because I could afford it, and now I'm holding a bunch of these masternode and staking coins that have the ability to make more of themselves over time, without requiring mining gear or lots of energy.

It's not a new concept, but I think it will take off more. If you get some of these cheaper coins now, make more of them over a year or two, then they should be worth more and you'll have more of them as when you started.

356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK or LISK on: September 19, 2017, 08:11:22 AM
I think LISK is more mature, have a good team and huge funding (plus a good company structure and organisation).  Ark looks promising.  I'm holding both, but I think Lisk have a head start on Ark at the moment, and there's a lot to come in the next few months.

Also here: https://c-cex.com/?p=linda-btc  - I hope this gets sorted, Cryptopia is a great exchange but they might be a bit grumpy at the mo with what's been happening with the Signatum debacle: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

Dear LINDA devs, please keep her going strong! Smiley My wallets have been very good and stable, and the MN rewards have been a lot better these past few days.  Is that because more staking is going on, or better luck??

Anyway, may the problem go away soon. Cheers!
