341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with greed whilst trading? on: April 19, 2019, 09:23:17 PM
Everyone experiences this regularly in the world of trading since no one is immune to greed, but it is possible to minimize to a large extent in different ways.

One of the best ways to minimize it is to not trade too often and just buy and HODL for the long term which is my preferred way to trade.
People even happen to fall victims to greed in the long term hodl. We have seen it in the bull 2017 when people despite so huge profits were still holding the coins and not cashing out the profits. This was the greed that led them into the deep dark pit of the crypto space. But that also gave rise to the lowest value again and people invested again.

So, I think that if you are wise enough, you would not loose due to greed in the crypto.
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 19, 2019, 09:14:44 PM
The first thing that compose a goo exchange is not fees , but the platform itself, one major problem I have with a lot of crypto project is that they don't care about what kind of platform they build as long as they are providing a service, but I see that as a very bad a bit and should be avoided, the first thing a developer should consider before launching a platform is how user friendly that platform is, since it would be used by the users and not the developers.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ???? on: April 19, 2019, 08:43:13 PM
News is what you lack if you truly have taken care of TA and the psychology of trading. News is FA - Fundamental Analysis. This is very important in trading (generally, business) because news help push the TA to achieve a target. To be successful, one has to know what news emanate around the business one is into.
Though technical analysis and fundamental analyses both are very important in trading and business and particularly in crypto, it is not enough. There is a concept of low initial cost of investment that should be kept in mind. If you invest in dip, you can hodl later on and do the TA and FA to see and decide when you should cash out and make a withdrawal decision.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the main key of success on trading platform. on: April 19, 2019, 07:58:58 PM
Holding for long term investment is not bad as long as you bought at dip and make sure the coin you buy have potential too. I'm also more on Fundamentals ,once I see the potential of their project, I'm just gonna buy and hold. Maybe for 3 to 4 years. Sounds very challenging to me.
That is the gist of how you make money by holding the coins you own. Dip is very important from that point of view. The wise people say that you cannot make money if you do not make a margin for profit during your initial investment. And when you invest in dip, you are more likely to make more money than others upon the onset of the crypto bull run. This is a proven fact.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: April 19, 2019, 07:48:20 PM
Trading is not very difficult, if you know how to do it Smiley Grin For example, I found a good review from a person who is professionally engaged in trading on a crypto market. I follow his channel and repeat his actions. Little by little, I am learning to understand this large ocean of commerce. I also found a good project that already benefits, it makes roaming available around the world, I think that there will be a big profit.
That is nice. This is how you start learning things by imitating people and absorbing the skills. Trading however is more profitable if you have an overall insight into the crypto market. It is not just one coin and so many and in order to trade multiple coins, you would need different strategies and plans so yeah, master this one and later on, take on the others.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: April 18, 2019, 01:11:54 PM
I use trust and tomochain wallet. You'd like tomo once you start using and the team behind are always very helpful
I have used a lot of wallets but I have not heard of these two wallets that you have mentioned. One thing about me is that I don’t make use of wallets that are not popular. Used to do that at first, but later I stopped it, cause they are not safe. This time around I make use of only wallets that are secured. I once made use of Xapo and then I was making use of their MasterCard debit card which I was using to withdraw my Bitcoin as cash from ATM. Then I stopped using it and now I’m making use of Luno wallet. LUNO wallet is very safe based on the experience I have had in making use of it.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips in Trading on: April 16, 2019, 06:34:57 PM
I believe when you are going into trading, the first mindset you need to go in with is that you could either win or lose a trade and it shouldn't affect your life even if you lost, I remember when I was new to the trading world and don't know anything about it, I lost about $200 in one damn because I placed a wrong signal that caused a big dump in price and my coin automatically became 0 within few hours.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Done Buying Cryptocoins? I AM. on: April 16, 2019, 06:01:56 PM
If you are done buying cryptocoin, then I think you already have a lot in your possession, because one habit I have learnt is to save Bitcoin every week of my life unless I couldn't work in a week, I am a freelancer that gets paid in Bitcoin, and I always make sure to save a part of it for the future because I know what we are likely to see in the price of bitcoin in few years to come and we would be very amazed at it.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could still crash below $3000 - Vinny Lingham on: April 16, 2019, 01:56:58 PM
I don't think that the price of Bitcoin could go back to $3000 anymore, though I know that it is possible for the price to get back to $4000 but a wall will be built around that for a long while, then we are going to see a bull run in price, this bull run will start little by little and then begin to grow better even much more than what we saw in 2017, this is the main reason it won't be good to miss out from what is coming, so make sure you get some Bitcoin and keep in your possession.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essentials for Traders on: April 13, 2019, 09:40:43 AM
This three things are the main steps to become successful in trading. If i may add, less greed will also lead to more favorable result. Also, there are times that our trades are not in a good result, but if we are more patience we may also achieve our goal profits in trading.
This is an open secret that you should not be in the business just for money but for the provision of best services to your costumers. This helps you work delicately to improve your business. If you are in cryptocurrency just for money, greed will make you make bad decisions which would be unhealthy in the long run.

So, I think that you should avoid being greedy and would be able to make money in cryptocurrency in long run if you speculate in good coin.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: April 13, 2019, 09:10:59 AM
Panic is probably the worst decision one can make when they make trades.  Postponing trading is a good option if you're really stressednout with the market movement. It refreshes your mind so you can think clearly by the time you decide to go back. Panicking however, throws logic out the window and makes you decide in the spur of the the moment. Not a very good thing to do when you're dealing with money.
Panic selling is an incomplete business and if a business is incomplete, of course it will be very risky for your investment. You leave your coins in the middle of nowhere and that is the end. You end up not making the amount you had been thinking of. And if you look around, almost all the people are holding the coins and some are leaving and creating negative news so do not follow what others do but rather what you think is the best.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 11, 2019, 07:40:39 AM
It is possible but it will not happen while bitcoin is still popular. Who would want to stop using bitcon when people are starting to use it in their daily life activities. It cannot become worthless as of now and that is for certain.
Yes you’re right, for now a lot of people are rushing into bitcoin due to what has been happening. The bull run that took bitcoin from $1000 to $19000 in 2017 is what made bitcoin popular and a lot of people are starting to invest in it with hope that same thing is going to repeat itself. It has become more popular than it was before. It will only fall when people starts to leave.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do u think will happen 100 years or 1000 years from now on: April 09, 2019, 03:52:10 PM
I'm confused. Your thread title says "100 or 1000 years from now", which are extremely different things.
Then you start your post by saying :

In 20 years

So, which time period are we even speculating about?
This doesn't belong in Trading Discussion, from what I can tell.
Speaking about 20 years, ELON MUSK would have probably set humans on Mars and guess what, having a cryptocurrency on Mars would be much fun after getting it colonized. If it did not happen in 20, it will surely happen in 100 or may be 1000 years but for now, it is better to focus on the market if you are here for making some money. And crypto is going to stay for long so if you are planning to hodl for 20 years, good luck.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Novogratz Slams Litecoin, Screams ‘Buy Bitcoin’ on: April 06, 2019, 09:43:54 AM
Well, even I am not a hater of litecoin and I like the way the billionaire is shouting buy bitcoin, we have a lot of bitcoin maximalist in the crypto space and this kind of people are not in support of any other crypto in the market no matter what it has to offer but only focus on bitcoin, I was once that way until I decided to spread and I discovered  that it is also good to check out other projects in the crypto space because most of them are also good.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an ICO go for[BOUNTY] thread first and [ANN] thread later? on: April 05, 2019, 05:50:07 PM
I don't think it's advisable for you to create a bounty thread before creating an ANN thread because ANN thread is the thread that explains what the project is all about and if any one wants to understand the platform, they would have to get that from the ANN thread.

Bounty thread is just for bounty hunters who wants to get free coin carrying out some task and most time don't really care what the platform is all about, this is why ANN thread is very much important than creating a bounty thread and it's even better to have just an ANN thread on the forum.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 04, 2019, 01:56:12 PM
A lot of projects are like that, they pay pennies for the airdrop. But as for the KYC, doing that for a worthless amount is never worth it, you're wasting your time and taking risk at the same time. And there are some of them that will not pay you for the airdrop and they will steal the info you've given to them. So, just be skipping any one that requires KYC.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA vs ADA - Which has a better future/potential? on: April 04, 2019, 01:24:04 PM
I have heard about both coins and I think both of them have great potentials and will have a very good future, though I cannot give 100% assured on this because I myself haven't done a good research on the project to see whether what I was told is actually truth or not, this is why I will say it is good you make your own research on the project before investing in it because I don't want someone blaming me if a project fails because I advice he/she to make purchase of the coin in the beginning.
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will you do when the market goes down? This is my advice on: April 03, 2019, 08:58:14 PM
We have seen the market go down countless number of time that I am getting used to seeing dip already, I joined the crypto community in 2014, and ever since then, I have seen Bitcoin dropped countless number of time even up to 60% loss, but we would always see a rise in price, yet a lot of persons don't want to learn from the past and hold strong to the crypto market, instead they just give up on the market and believe that nothing good is going to come out from it, when will people learn lesson from previous report.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: April 01, 2019, 07:07:38 PM
My lose is 16.67% so far this year.

I am keeping a record of the money I deposit and withdraw from the betting sites. I mostly bet in Cricket and Tennis by the way.

I think I need to assure you something here which is even though I am in lose but I never chase my loses. I bet for fun not to make money. Hope it make sense.
When you bet for fun, you do your best and another edge you get over others who play for money is that you do not panic in case you are loosing. Having a great and sound mindset is always instrumental in helping you make the best move. Another good thing is that you are keeping records which help a lot. Playing like this will always keep you safe and even if you do not chase your losses, you would keep no doubt win most of the time.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Definition of Winning in Gambling on: April 01, 2019, 06:46:11 PM
The definition of gambling is not determined by the victory we have won, for me personally that victory in gambling is when we can control emotions.
Gambling is not based on a victory because in my opinion gambling is a way to get pleasure. When we can get pleasure, we have won.
That's a very nice definition, it shows your maturity towards gambling and you understand your chances of winning.
If you will stay discipline and do it with the purpose of having fun, I'm sure you will enjoy everytime you gamble as any loss will not affect your negatively.
Yes that is what I feel about winning at gambling. You can increase the possibilities of winning if you are able to stay cool throughout the game and think of strategies fully devised to counter the predicted strategies of your opponent. This way it gets more enjoyable when you understand about what you do. But ultimately everything boils down to your experience and understanding of the game as well.
