1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer on: August 20, 2017, 09:51:57 PM
So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head  Roll Eyes Cheers
I do believed that most of the member in this forum or none of them  including me didn't get easily understand for  an hour for what bitcoin really means. So, I think if there's a newcomer keep it simple and short, explain only the usages that's it. Wink
Exactly, explain the benefits of Bitcoins and how to grab them, don't bother explaining the complicated technology used. It will just make things hard for him and for you as well. With the passage of time, he will develop interest in it and may ask you certain questions, then go uncovering details.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transaction fees rising ? on: August 20, 2017, 09:00:41 PM
With the growth of bitcoin value to 4000$ bitcoin is establishing  themselves as one of the most wanted cryptocurrencies. While this is good as the demand will make it's price increase, I am thinking of what may happen to the transaction fees ?  They seem to grow proportionally because the miners are taking advantage of the numerous transactions happening, and they select the ones that have a higher transaction fee.

Will these continue rising ?
How can this be solved without affecting deeply bitcoin?
Will this give an upper hand to bitcoin cash to increase it's value, as it looks like their transaction fees are lower ?

Bitcoin transaction fees rising only I think because bitcoin is also rising. But I'm not sure about it, because there are some exchanger giving their charge amounting 0.001BTC like in bittrex, while in yobit.net was 0.0015BTC higher than bittrex though most of the coins listed in yobit was a shitcoins compare into bittrex is not.
Transaction fees have increased with the increase in the number of users but different exchanges have different transaction fees. Some offer low charges while other have decided to earn profits in this golden period of bitcoins where prices keep on rising in the market. Choose those exchanges which have lesser fees to tackle with this problem. I like bittrex personally.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: August 20, 2017, 07:49:38 PM
Adds are way expensive and it will still be overwhelming for people when they start looking into bitcoin.

A powered by bitcoin or something would be a lot better, just to get the name rolling on regular channels.
It is not just that. It will be expensive but also against the ways of government. They will never allow its publicity through media. However, if big companies like Microsoft, Uber, Paypal etc introduce bitcoins in their adds as they accept payments in the form of BTC, this might be an option. Other than this, I don't think so it is possible to advertise BTC this openly. Powered by Bitcoins is not an option.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: credit card bitcoins on: August 18, 2017, 06:09:28 PM
I really want to have a card called bitcoins credit card ,, not I also want but for all bitcoin players let alone there is also bitcoin atm around the world must be very good.
I really do not get the idea of making bitcoin ATMs and now BTC credit cards while in order to make any sort of transaction in bitcoins, you just need internet and mobile with wallet. However, if we have BTC cards which will allow us to directly pay in bitcoins will help bitcoiners a lot all around the world. It will also increase the fame of BTC.
1205  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 17, 2017, 06:08:28 PM
Maybe bitcoin will lose its value if everyone sells all the bitcoin they have. It will make the bitcoin price going down. Bitcoin prices rely on supplay and demand ... maybe if sales are bigger then bitcoin prices will go down. Plus the government also prohibits the use of bitcoin in a country. Bitcoin wallet is closed. So all bitcoin transactions no longer exist. That will make the bitcoin value drop. But that's not possible
Absolutely, that is out of question that people will start dumping bitcoins. Since they are decentralized, I do not think so governments will be able to ban bitcoins besides they are aware of the fact that people are crazy for bitcoins, governments will try to figure out methods via which they can control bitcoins.
1206  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 15, 2017, 07:19:01 PM
Young people should go bitcoin because at their younger age they already know the important of bitcoin. This idea is a good opportunity to young people because bitcoin has a future and they can invest and earn extra money to help for their study. Let us introduce to all young people about bitcoin, it helps for their study and for their future so that someday they have already have a savings. Because bitcoin has a future and good in investment.
Bitcoins do have brightest future among all the crypto currencies and it is not only mode of investments but also the best currency for international transactions.

Young people have advantage over elderly because they have very much interest into technology, gadgets, apps etc which elder people lack. I will like to suggest all youngsters to go for bitcoins and have chill future.
Yes, the youth has to control future of the world. In the near future, the cryptos are about to rule the world. The technology is the essential part of the world. Youngsters have indeed sharper brains than old people so they should definitely take interest into bitcoins and other digital currencies.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that in near future BTC would be connected with mobile number? on: August 15, 2017, 05:01:03 PM
Hi guys and girls.
What do you think will they ever make BTC connected with our mobile numbers (so we could pay with it)?  Cool
Well, it’s likely to be possible, since there are some bitcoin platforms that lets users send bitcoin using their email addresses, I believe inventing mobile number as one of the means of transaction won’t be any difficult task to take. Still, it may lead to compromise the one of basic concepts of bitcoins, being anonymous.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 15, 2017, 03:59:45 PM
this dream you are talking about, it's already happened to many many bitcoin early investor, most of them are millionaire now !!!
I personally believe that whatever amount you invest into Bitcoin, you’re likely to make out more than double of it just by leaving it there. Price is pumping right now, and it’s the perfect time to invest. I believe anyone can become rich just by investing into bitcoin. Getting into bitcoin must be the biggest requirement here and all our dream will definitely come in true incoming years.
1209  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: August 15, 2017, 01:22:17 PM
Controlling prices artificially is not a good idea, governments have been trying to do this for centuries, with terrible results. But if you mean helping the price to grow organically, the best way is to promote the benefits of Bitcoin to others, and if you're a high skilled developer, you could create features and apps for the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Actually, there is no way you can stop the crashing/bear market. The price will always keep going up or down actually, as far as the community/users increases and decreases. There is nothing to worry since, since the price keep rising everyday, and even if there is a noticeable decrease, it still picks up.
1210  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 14, 2017, 09:15:00 PM
I will keep both bitcoin and gold, never put all the eggs in one basket. Hence I have 2 baskets.
Lol, too much concerned about future. Indeed it is wise to invest into both but invest larger portion of your income into bitcoins than into gold. Bitcoins are the future of the world. They can generate profit faster than any other investment. Good luck to you for investing into both!
1211  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [Lightning Network] Zap wallet on: August 13, 2017, 08:32:09 PM
I once came across a news article about “Bitfury successfully tests lightning network”.
What I don’t really get is, will these so called “Lightning Networks” be implemented into our wallets to let us quickly send and receive Bitcoin? If so, when will they be released ?.
1212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: August 13, 2017, 08:36:37 AM
The most important aspect of trading is buy low, sell high.
If you get into the habit of panicking, then you will inevitably sell low and buy high.
This is NOT what you want.
If the price drops and you think about selling - just don't.
Wait until it goes up again, and you will profit.
The best thing to do when you see that you are losing from your trading portfolio is to take a break and just check it not too often so your emotions will not be so active and you will not sell your coins for a negative profit. Just keep a lot of patience in yourself so you can have a better trading performance and if you do have some losses then take some lessons from your losses and treat those as a lesson.

We are just humans and no matter how we have these pre-planned trading, emotions tend to be over above us. However, the more we do trades and teach ourselves to control that emotion, we tend to master it can just focus on the trading game plan.
Controlling emotions is not an easy task. We can’t totally get rid of emotions because it will make us zombies.
Emotions are in a way important to enjoy the special moments of the life. Yes, practicing trading gives you good control over emotions.
Lol no one will like to become a zombie. Yep emotions make us feel the special moments and let us enjoy the precious sweet memories as well. As far as emotions are concerned in trading, they do play significant role in decision making but we should treat them like visitors to avoid wrong decisions.
1213  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 13, 2017, 08:00:40 AM
I do not think that the cash will disappear completely. In the system of electronic money there can be a failure and there must always be an alternative for a person to make purchases at any time.
I agree with you. It is always wise to have back up plans. I also believe that the fiat is not completely going to perish away from the face of earth. The digital currencies no doubt have made their place in the world economy. Cash will always be supported by old school of thoughts.
1214  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 13, 2017, 07:30:42 AM
Bitcoin can not reduce unemployment. Only to reduce its consequences for individual unemployed people who are looking for ways to earn for a living.
Opportunities exist and are very open, depending on the individual want or not thinking and creative, but the problem is most of the unemployed it is lazy so it is difficult to change their mindset.
All the unemployed people are not lazy. It is very rude to call them sluggish. There are many highly qualified people who are not having any jobs instead of taking numerous interviews. Bitcoins have provided them with a hope of earning their livelihoods with dignity.
1215  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 13, 2017, 06:36:29 AM
For me, bitcoin is the best investment in the modern world. Its price is skyrocketing, no matter what, and in the future creates the prospect of financial security.

Even if the price is pretty much stable it is still a good investment because it was shown to us many times that a year or two later the price will be higher thatn it is now. The only thing you need when investing in bitcoin is patience. Don't sell when it is dropping, wait patiently and you'll see it will rise in the future.
Indeed, it will be difficult to find something with more upside potential. But I advise you do not try all your capital invested in such a volatile asset, or you can be emotionally destabilized if the price falls too much, which can lead to bad decisions.
Yeah, investing all capital into any single investment is very risky. That’s why it is advised to have versatile portfolio to be on the safe side in the trading world. I believe that it is good to invest good portion of your savings into bitcoins because I see them as the future currency of the world.
1216  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: August 12, 2017, 09:30:23 PM
Until now I do not have a lot of bitcoin because I am also in the learning phase, still deepen what to do to be able to benefit from bitcoin

Yeah like you, I don't have that much.
I'm just starting to earn and save bitcoin and hope I will reach my target before the year ends.
Trying to do some trading now and it feels good. There's ups and downs for me but I always learn my lessons.
I appreciate your high spirits. It is good that you are not giving up on bitcoins and working hard to earn bitcoins for the future. Your hard work and sincere efforts are obviously going to pay you off in the form of millions or even billions. Keep working hard and stay loyal to bitcoins. You are soon going to rock.
1217  Economy / Speculation / Re: $4,000 in sight. on: August 12, 2017, 07:28:56 PM
Since yesterday's breaking of a strong resistance level of $3,500 bitcoin has been showing strength to touch $4,000. I do believe and speculating that by this time next week we may break $4,000. Bitcoin is a really blessing to us.
Yes. Bitcoin is now amazingly at its peaks. I have also previously predicted the price of 4000$ and soon it will go.
If bitcoin once reach 4000$ then it would surely be unbreakable and will move with a rocket speed toward moon. That is what is expected by all the bitcoiners.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 11, 2017, 08:12:13 PM
Gambling can not be profitable in the short or long term. They can only lead to a loss of funds if you try to earn or receive pleasure if you look at them as entertainment.

I agree and I think gambling should be kept as a mode of entertainment and not the mode of earning money. Thus the players would not  play in a serious manner and thus their losses will be minimum. If one thinks of gambling to be a mode of making money then they will get addicted to it and as soon as they lose some money they will try to win it back and thus they will continue to gamble.
Nobody is okay with losing his capital even in entertainment. I bet you can't also. In gambling either one is serious or ignorant, victory and defeat is just a matter of luck in fact and frequent loss is not welcomed by anyone. As far as its addiction is concerned, if someone keeps on doing something, that becomes his habit in no time and habits are difficult to push off certainly.

I think you are getting it all wrong - there cannot be any investment in an entertainment. If you are going to get entertained then there is a fees required. That is not an investment and you will not be getting it back in any form with or without interest. Gambling should be kept to a mode of entertainment and not as mode to earn money - that is all I was saying.

As far as I know we can invest in an entertainment - this time not a player but an investor with the casinos. There are also other forms of entertainment where we can invest to it as well - some bars, clubs, and the like.
Pretty good idea to invest in an entertainment and I like the way you look at things. You have taken this conversation to a whole different level. A business mind! For those who think of this an entertainment, then this entertainment includes defeat and victory. And who wants to face defeat. Who likes to be a loser? Its not like other entertainments like watching movies where people spend their idle time without getting the tag 'LOZER' .. getting the picture Funlovers?!
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 11, 2017, 11:26:55 AM
Yes, I always set a limit for myself with how much money I'm prepared to gamble. Either on a per day or per session basis. Need to do this or else can easily rack up large losses.

making a limit for ourself is really work if we want to keep the most of our money, but we need to obey with the rule that we made so we can avoid from losing big money or using big money in gambling. for me its better to set up limits in every time we want to playing gambling because we can prevent for something bad that maybe happen and we can playing gambling with happy.

Yes you can not control your greediness then setup limit. Don't fix your limit in mind because we can not remember that number. When you are going to play gambling deposit only how much you can afford. Then it will control your greediness after losing everything you will stop your play.

sometime i use fix limit like 0.005 btc for playing gambling and no matter what is happen later, if in one hour i am loss about 0.003 btc then i am decide to stop the games and leave the games. but if in one hour i can win more then i will stop the games too like what i did when i loss. this is i use in gambling games and i think for now, its work again with me because i don't want to getting loss more than 0.005 btc.
Yeah! One should set some limits before investing his or her bitcoins in gambling as there is a greater risk of loss in this game. People should have some strategic techniques in their minds regarding gambling .

You are probably on the safer side as you have a complete control over your greed and patiently earning money through this method to become rich .
1220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: August 11, 2017, 08:53:51 AM
You only lose when you stop trading, trading can't be always profitable, sometimes you have to lose money and this is very normal in trading and it gives you experience.
Yes losing is always normal in trading but imagine, he lost 40% in trading. So if this man continues trading, there is no doubt that he will lose more. Maybe not stop but pause of trading will be better because there are many demo platforms where you can to learn or improve your trading skills.
There are things which arent really for ours no matter how hard we do try and sometimes deciding to quit isnt really bad at all and there are times that our instincts do really tell us on what to do that we do see its the best way to be done to avoid such more lose further more. Some may say that he must proceed even more but its his decision and we cant really stop it.
That is truth, there  are people who are not meant for something that they want to do but they can still make it work if they will just learn from their mistakes because all of us, do mistakes and the only thing that we need to do with those mistakes is to analyze and try to learn something from it. Trading will never make your life happy if you are not serious with it.
We all should learn from our mistakes and treat them as our lessons rather than regretting over them. I don’t believe that trading is not for everyone. We all have got different potential of doing trading and those who think they are bad at trading, can learn it with some sincere efforts.
