541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 20, 2018, 07:10:36 AM
Basically, the crypto space is becoming way bit saturated and alot of money is coming in and going. So many people want to leverage in that by running ICO and taking up people money without any viable product. To be safe, it's advisable to invest in a project that have a product or at least a prototype.
Actually the crypto market is not so much saturated and there is still option for people to invest in any of the coins that are available in the market. However those who have limited information about such thing often fall prey to the ICO thing and majority of the ICO are not much instrumental in imparting the growth to investment which is the reason the why investment in ICO is risky.

It is not easy to find a great ICO with an advanced project unless you have the very core information about what to invest in and why keeping the market graphs in the mind.
542  Economy / Economics / Re: Is technical analysis negatively affecting cryptocurrencies? on: October 20, 2018, 06:31:21 AM
I have to say upfront that I'm no fan of technical analysis, even in traditional asset markets. There are 2 main reasons for this:
1) There is no scientific proof that technical analysis works at all. The only correlation between technical analysis and true market movements is that it is widely believed. And this leads to the next point
2) TA is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If people stopped believing in it, it would stop working right away. If people find new patterns they only start actually working once they get enough traction for other people to believe in them.

This is somewhat of a problem in traditional assets, but it is just a minor nuisance. The fundamental values of traditional assets always strike back, no matter what TA says. Found resistance? Doesn't matter if the underlying value shoots way up due to increasing sales, usage or whatever. Glad a value has some support? Doesn't matter if sales drop to near-zero, the price does not care about support.

At cryptocurrencies, however, those fundamental values don't work as there are rarely any. Most companies behind cryptocurrencies either have no product that is close to justifying their volume and value. Some of them (Bitcoin amongst them) do not even want to have one. Therefore they are subject to constant influence by those religiously believing in TA, which makes them an object of pure speculation. The fundamental values are "news", no matter the level of reliance.

In my opinion, this holds cryptocurrencies from being a usable and reliable method for everyday transaction use.

What is your view on this?
If a lot of people believes in a particular prediction, they will all be pushed to invest their money and that will make the price of that asset to go high, due to there have been an increase in the rate of demand. I’m also not the type of person that believes in technical analysis, I’ve seen a lot of them ever since I stated and they are never correct. Many ojf them I’ve decided to follow all ended up as  being wrong. So none of them are accurate at all.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: October 20, 2018, 05:28:15 AM
of course I will choose a long-term investment, because long-term investments can get greater profits. of course I have to choose a coin that is very suitable for the long term.
There are various factors that determine whether investment should be short term or long term which also depends on the type of coin you prefer to invest in.

Speaking about Bitcoin, a long term investment can have a big impact on your current account in long term. All the Bitcoin millionaires and billionaires have been the long term investors who invested back in 2010 or 2011 and cashed huge capital in 2017. This is the reason I prefer the long term investment over the short term.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 19, 2018, 11:14:22 AM
Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!
Our team of investors successfully made a 233% profit by performing leveraged trading of ETH to purchase QNT, a low-cap altcoin that we were able to pump up over 100% in one week. This team plans to do the same by leveraging BTC and ETH volatility while making massive buys of a small altcoin in the CoinExchange.io platform.- t.me/iblockchainglobal

Altcoins are other crypto coins which are less valuable than the Bitcoin and are favorable as short term trading and its experience makes you able to upgrade to higher coins like Bitcoin.

The reason why you start trade with less valuable coins is to have a hold over your loss in case if you have loss in trading then it will not be a huge loss and slowly you will get experience to deal with these crypto coins, after this starting dealing with Bitcoin will not be difficult.

545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why not be rich? Is it impossible for you? on: October 19, 2018, 10:40:37 AM
it was not so hard last year. because marketcap was raising like hell especially at the second half of last year. and it was not so hard to make x10 when you chosed the correct altcoin. but in a bearish market it is really very hard.
It is not hard this year as well. We have just a bit of change in the market situations and besides, there is crowd in the market. So in such cases, you have to play your best move and that should be the preference to the investment with low cost.

As long as your investment has a low cost, you can set future targets and keep on investing which ultimately gives you edge over all those who invest in the market with recovery in the prices. The more profit margins you get, the more money you make. This is my opinion to be rich in crypto.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin leverage Trading on: October 16, 2018, 09:59:35 AM
A trade with a big leverage causes you to lose all of your money with a small move. Surely you can gain more, but if your money is few, you can lose all of your money when it moves a little bit opposite direction you predicted.
It is just greed that usually make a lot of people to end up going big on leverage and then setting themselves up for a pretty huge risk than they can handle at all, and the funniest part of it all is that they still always end up not even paying attention to learning before even they start trading.

Leverage trading to me is actually more like complete gambling which if you are not careful the chances of losing all your money even though you can still get huge profit as well is always going to be there. Even while I was trading leverage, I have never gone higher than 20 xs.
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low, sell high on: October 16, 2018, 08:23:56 AM
Watch it bro. We ask people to buy and they buy, now you  call them fools? What makes you think they will buy again(even at its lowest) after this insult? If Bitcoin had continued to move up from the 20,000 they bought you would probably call them smart.
Nobody is certain where the price will move to next. We are all fools in this case as far as trading and holding Crypto is concerned
Whatever the insult you want to rain on smart investors, as long as they know what they are doing, it really does not count actually. Like you said, no one is certain what the future holds, and where the price will move to next, but the thing when it comes to a market actually is to always look for the dips when the market has bottomed enough, look for projects you can trust, buy into them and then in that way you will be able to enjoy some beneficial profit when the market recovers.

Nonetheless, everything depends on each person's knowledge and the strategy they have to play the market to their advantage which only smart people have anyway.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 16, 2018, 07:38:44 AM
Since the last couple of weeks the US dollar has strengthened against almost all currencies (https://www.investing.com/analysis/us-dollar-time-to-buy-or-sell-200347445). Many analysts and traders consider that the growth was triggered by FED. In fact, Fed has been increasing gradually the interest rate since 2016 (https://www.investing.com/economic-calendar/interest-rate-decision-168) as well as there has been published the lowest unemployment rate since 1969 (https://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-reward-for-the-lowest-unemployment-rate-since-1969-higher-rates-for-your-loans-2018-10-08).
Gold, silver and other assets are under the pressure of strong dollar and  moreover strong dollar may cause a strong correction or even a crash on the stock market.
The key question is how the further strengthening of dollar will effect on the crypto market?
Cryptocurrency is not linked to dollar and is completely on its own. So whatever value of USD is doesn’t have anything to do with what’s going to be the value of cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrencies devs has a way determining what’s going to be the price and that’s by knowing the rate of demand and how much is available or supply. So count the USD out of this, whether it gains strength or weakens has nothing to do with this.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 16, 2018, 07:00:46 AM
Cryptocurrency price not depending on youtube. Price is depending on peoples supply and demand. Recent market condition is not good because people panic with fake news and some people think its good opportunity to collecting more coin with cheap price.
I think we should keep optimism on our portfolio because cryptomarket is not one day market.
In fact, getting sick and tired at this point, when everyone should be trying to raise their spirit when it comes to accumulating is one pathetic thing to be doing. The market condition is a normal thing.

For instance we are beginning to see a downtrend market for stocks at the moment, and apparently, this is not something that would kill the investors will it? One thing about a market is that there will always be a downtrend and an uptrend no matter how long they last whenever they come, and as long as people refuse to keep it at the back of their head that cryptocurrency market is no different from any other market before they start beginning to reason like proper humans.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In this bearish market, What do you think is the way out?? on: October 16, 2018, 06:30:22 AM
Hope, trust, and patience. I think that is really it. there is nothing anyone can do to easily  manipulate the market to our favor. So the best thing to do right now is to keep the faith alive and just be patient till when the market comes back up. I know for a fact that this will definitely happen. So let's just patiently wait for that.
Actually, those three things are some of the attributes that makes an investor to make certain quality decision in the space. When you have hope in the blockchain technology advancing, you trust that the system is definitely going to grow at some point and help disrupt a lot of things where we get to see mass adoption and then you know what you have to do is to wait for the long term and you are patient enough for it, the ability to be able to see dips as a good time to be accumulating and then being patient enough no matter how long it takes to wait as long as you know the potential you tend to benefit from in the long run.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is convincing people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: October 13, 2018, 01:16:13 PM
Yeah. It absolutely is. First of all, keep this in mind, gambling is totally addicting, specially when one starts to win loads of money in very short amount of time. What used to be just entertainment, might end up being an addiction that will be affecting his over all life for the rest of the future. Your friends can still gamble on sites that offer virtual currencies that has no value and is free to play if he wants to enjoy playing those casino games.
It is more like trying to convince someone that jumping inside the middle of an ocean is a good thing to do without telling them the risks involved and the repercussions that could end up befalling them if care is not taken and I really see it as an act of irresponsibility actually which was what I eventually came into conclusion with after reading most of the things here.

If you want to convince people, convince them to do the right thing. Sure, everyone is entitled to the way they think, but the fact is that some people can be gullible and ending up trusting you enough to not lead them in a ditch and then eventually when you end up doing that as a person, how are you going to be able to live with yourself?
552  Economy / Economics / Re: How Binance Decentralized Crypto Exchange Launch in 2019 Will Impact the Market on: October 13, 2018, 12:13:37 PM
I prefer the simple one, and I think everyone does that too. and so far to exchange the most simple and fast tokens is the forkdelta.
Fork Delta is just another decentralized exchange, and whether you prefer it or not, it really does not matter, what is not known yet is what Binance will end up coming with.

Nonetheless, I feel we have not even reached that stage of decentralized exchanges getting to function properly and probably, this would change with what Binance is bringing or would just end up becoming the same old same old. Centralized exchange are always known for liquidity, which is why a lot of traders prefer that, probably, this would just be for a totally different category entirely.
553  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin versus other offline currencies on: October 13, 2018, 11:32:02 AM
As a NEWBIE, how would you explain bitcoin as against other offline currencies?
Which one has more market value and why do you think so ?
To me, every one of them has its own purpose. Bitcoin doesn’t serve for everything, it can only be used online and that’s for sending and receiving money and for making payments on websites where it is accepted. Some people also use it just for investment, while some claim they use it as their main currency daily, I don’t know how that’s possible. I like both currencies, although my main purpose that brought me into cryptocurrency is to make more money, y’know, more dollars.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 13, 2018, 10:55:24 AM
We should spend our time focusing on how we can make bitcoin and other crypto currencies a more of a "everyday thing" instead of a "futuristic investment" for young people. So far people has been using bitcoin like a method to make money, buy it low and sell it high and make profits.

We should leave that and move ourselves away from it and go towards more like " a payment method" and make bitcoin with lightning network into something that everyone uses to pay stuff. You can use debit cards for bitcoin, you can use mobile phones, you can use cold wallet banknotes all I care but we need to make it into something more common.
That is actually what I believe everyone should be channeling their focus on. This is a space that is actually growing every day and we have all seen the great benefit it brings when it comes to payment system with a lot of freedom and as long as people start seeing those benefits, the more they will be able to focus more on the fact that they should be more interested in the long term instead which i believe is what would eventually drive in real growth as well as sustainable demand in the long run.
555  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 13, 2018, 10:18:49 AM
Majority of people still think traditionally and would choose bank deposits over crypto. Banks are not going anywhere.
the thoughts that you convey can happen for the time being and the development of the times and technology will change all such thoughts, practically efficient and fast that will be needed in the future along with the development of the era and technology, especially the economy
That will take long time. The rate at which the technology is spreading right now is very slow and there are technological efficient countries that refrain to give the technology to the rest of the countries for their own political reasons which is the reason we still have so many countries that do not even have the basic internet access.

SO what I want to say is that there is no impossibility in the fact that people will stop going to banks once the technology take over but we would have to wait for that time.

557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: October 08, 2018, 01:28:59 PM
I usually gamble during the day, when my work is done and its still not night I gamble on stake recently, I used to gamble on primedice a lot but stake took over that from me (well both owned by stunna so I do not think it matters to them Cheesy ) so I assume I am gambling at stake from 4 pm to 6pm or so when I do. Of course I do not gamble all the time but that is just when I gamble on some days, and also
sometimes I gamble really late at night which I hate because if I am sleepy the results would not be really fun but sometimes its hard to sleep so I gamble during the 3 am or so hours even though I try not to.

Since all I do is basically online, I just let the whole automated thing keep running on dice and that is it. Which I usually do not care if at the end nothing comes out of it anyway.

So in that case, I would say I gamble during the day. For casinos however, we all know that night is more or less like the most bubbling time if not the main time casinos rock it up the most. Although recently, I have been a lot busy so that is more like a once in a blue moon thing.
I gamble usually during the day, at night I can honestly just watch tv and relax, but during the day when I do not have much work life gets boring really quickly. I usually play ps4 games whenever I can and stay away from gambling but sometimes life just gets so boring that you have to get like couple wagers in, sometimes I do research on sports like NBA and bet on sportsbook websites but I sometimes go to stake and play some blackjack there too. At really late nights it happens again, sometimes I have hard time sleeping and I try to stay away from gambling when sleeping but it just happens time to time.
558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the reason Behind The Kucoin Exchange Fall? on: October 08, 2018, 12:02:42 PM
Not only me, Many people thought Kucoin will be the next Binance Exchanger. Kucoin User Interface is like almost Binance, Maybe they inspired from The Binance exchange but that was cool also. Kucoin has stronger security than Binance. A few Months ago, Kucoin rank was in 12 in coinmarketcap by daily trading volume. Then what happened? People are not talking about this exchanger, I have seen Exchange related Threads but maximum people ignore this exchange, at this moment, Kucoin rank is 56!! Even Yobit, Exrates Types exchanger is in a better position than Kucoin! Do You know what is the reason behind this fall?
I think the only reasonable explanation is the rise of other places. Whenever places like binance and bitfinex gets up and running and become the fan favorite than some others have to go away to make room for it. Kucoin was a big deal in asia as well however when binance came out kucoin started to fail because it did not create the marketing binance was doing and it did not have hype for it.

It is not just kucoin, take a look at poloniex, poloniex was the exchange for everything, after cryptsy got hacked poloniex became the biggest exchange for a long long time however with binance poloniex lost a lot value as well.
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hodl or sell right now ? on: October 06, 2018, 11:42:54 AM
when I look at the condition of the graph from the beginning of this year until this month I see the moment is the perfect time to buy a cryptocurrency that is more complete you can buy as much bitcoin as you can because this bitcoin price pattern has begun to show price increases and make sure you are not late to buy bitcoin.
I really do not even see this time as a time anyone should even be selling unless of course they have some urgent need to take care of and there is nothing they could have done to be able to get it taken care of asides pulling out some of their holdings.

The market is still in its early stage and that shows that a time would come when there would be some huge prospect for it, and for that reason, I really do not expect that anyone should not be taking advantage of the moment now for the future when things get better than they are now, at least optimistically. Like they always say, buy the dips and hold for the future.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach its Bottom? on: October 05, 2018, 10:22:30 AM
Bitcoin price CRASH: Analysts think cryptocurrency could be reaching its BOTTOM
BITCOIN could be reaching the bottom of its bear run as experts speculate the cryptocurrency could fall in the $6,600-$6,000 range over the weekend, it has been reported
Many speculators are saying bitcoin bottom was around $1800 and $1400 therefore,  I doubt if bitcoin will reach that low before strong recovering.  I think we are at the time were bitcoin do make a bullish trend and the December that people were saying it is going to bearish could not push bitcoin price that low.
Speculators will always say whatever they want or whatever suits them and that is why they are called speculators anyway. The fact that the market is more speculative in nature is what has made it easily manipulated the way it is right now.

We really will be lucky if we manage to hit $3k, as I believe there should be a very strong demand within this region. Nonetheless, no one knows the future, the market can go down lower and even reverse before then, and the only thing we obviously can do right now is just to watch and see how events unfold.
