341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lets try to make 1.5 BTC from 0.013 *** New Pick*** on: January 26, 2016, 01:34:41 AM
New pick:

NBA
New Orleans vs Houston Rockets:
Don't have time to review, but after a small research I choose to
pick : Houston Rockets +4.5 @ 1.94
Bet: 0.049BTC
( continue the last challenge after loosing the first game and winning the second with double bet.)

Missed your pick again! Good luck though. Rockets have started out well but they are so streaky throughout games you never know if they are going to hold on or end up losing. Hope I can catch your next one.
342  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live betting on sports on: January 26, 2016, 12:54:04 AM
Definitely depends on the sport but I like to bet before the match starts on the underdog and then play the favorite live if I want to at the point. Never like to lay coin on heavy favorites before match start.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: January 26, 2016, 12:52:15 AM
So much for the under but Levante ML and Levante +0.5 hold up in a contentious match
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Oscars on: January 26, 2016, 12:49:20 AM
Haven't been really keeping track of the films this year but all about the insider edge when betting on stuff like the Oscars.

Anyone have any good information?
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: How can I win big? on: January 25, 2016, 11:21:45 PM
A chance to win big tonight with the Cavaliers playing the Timberwolves. If you think Cavs lay another egg and lose tonight, you could get 8x to 9x your bet if you go on the Wolves.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 25, 2016, 10:58:54 PM

Big prize! Feeling good about the pick today though

Spurs win this game

Spurs 122 - 115 Warriors
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: January 25, 2016, 05:33:15 PM
Levante vs Las Palmas I am not sure both teams will score goals, but I prefer the under 2.5 goals.

A lot of people here thinking over 2.5 but wouldn't be surprised to see a 0-0 or 1-1 result. Think I'm gonna go with the Under too.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: January 25, 2016, 09:31:50 AM
How could it not be introduced? As long as there is currency or anything of value, people will continue to wager it in hopes of getting more. I can't really imagine the notion of no gambling  Cheesy

One of my upcoming bet later is SAS v GSW: GSW -4 i think the warriors got this game since they have the homecourt and tim duncan isnt playing on this game seems like a win win situation.

This is going to be an awesome game and a must watch but feel like the Spurs will come out with the win here. If they lock the Warriors down defensively, they will be able to bring the upset. Duncan is a big part of their team but their bench is so deep that they still have enough firepower to compete.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: January 25, 2016, 09:15:26 AM

Zidane is not a god that could make real madrid always win in the league but they are now much better compared to when benitez was still coaching the team. They need some time to change their habit of getting draw in a away team for sure, everytime they play as an away team they always ended up dissapointed

lol. I'm not said Zidane is a god and don't expect Real madrid always win. just a litte dissapointed Real madrid not win in this match. Yap! you are right, everytime they play as an away games real madrid did not win.

They shouldn't win every game but against Betis I feel like they should have gotten the win and needed the points to close the gap in rankings.

Liking a draw today with Levante/Las Palmas. I would also play Levante +0.5

I really like that you can try out the games first with freeplay before depositing any coin. I tried out the roulette and casino war (haven't this at any BTC casinos. only live ones). Really good, speedy interface. As far as table games go, would like to see a version of craps.

Also, a different method of depositing Bitcoin other than through third party would be great too!
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 25, 2016, 08:43:28 AM
I use PayPal for online shopping and I use BTC for steam products but i more often using PayPal because more seller support it.

Nowadays Paypal still more used than Bitcoin, but it's not guaranteed that this case will continue forever. If we compare the Bitcoin's features with the Paypal inconvenients we could easily pretend that Bitcoin will be used more than Paypal worldwide soon

PayPal took a long time for widespread adoption. Now, it's pretty much the only payment processor for these small businesses to use. I wouldn't say they are doing super well though. Otherwise they wouldn't have needed to split from eBay.

Bitcoin could be on that level in another decade. Those same inconveniences seen in PayPal are solved by BTC
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream for bitcoin? What will it become? on: January 25, 2016, 08:38:25 AM
Widespread acceptance and adoption worldwide ideally. I don't think that would be anytime soon but it would be cool to say that you were among the first to use BTC when it gets super popular. If its worth a lot, even better.

Would like to see BTC and cryptos in general more infused with different kinds of gambling.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 25, 2016, 08:31:38 AM
Tonight it's MIN vs CLE. Even though MIN is coming from a huge win from Memphis, I do not think they have the firepower to defeat the powerhouse (yet currently a mess of a situation) CAVs. I'm still betting on the MIN tho.

On the other hand, I'm quite confident now Josh Smith's back in the lineup for HOU, against their match vs the pelicans.

Cleveland looked like a mess against the Bulls. Not sure what kind of team is going to show up this time against Minnesota.
356  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make Over 1BTC with sportsbetting. on: January 25, 2016, 08:05:25 AM
I actually like these types of sports betting threads more than guys who post a bunch of picks a day. More fun to reach a goal and still get some good picks in the process. Good luck on getting to 1 BTC!

What amount are you starting out with? 0.01 BTC?
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sport To Gamble on: January 25, 2016, 07:31:05 AM
Any sport which you have the best knowledge. If you follow hometown teams, you could have a slight advantage in knowing which games are especially important to them or which they will be gunning hard to win. If you don't follow any sports, then anything that has a lot of stats already out there. MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and soccer are all good options.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: January 25, 2016, 07:25:21 AM
Not only is it hard to obtain at the moment for many people but there's an aura of complexity around Bitcoin too.  The volatility in the price doesn't really help when you try to sell it as a stable currency either.

The more reputable businesses that accept it; the more curiosity will be drawn to BTC
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favourite gambling game ? on: January 25, 2016, 06:43:30 AM
Dice can definitely get boring after awhile. Poker is a kind of game where you can just chill and play against other people. You don't really have to worry about playing against the house but getting beat on the river or something can be stressful.

Sports betting is also fun since you can eat and drink and enjoy the game while still potentially winning money at the same.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 25, 2016, 05:59:10 AM
A lot of people were on Arsenal today but Chelsea hasn't lost a game since interim coach took over. They might not have been winning games but thought they could at least draw with Arsenal. A lot of people will probably be all over Chelsea again come next week.
