New web server is up DNS might take awhile to propagate, but it should takeover soon. Now let's please find a block No kidding. This long round forced me to change the site code & upgrade a server for the ridiculous table size. It probably made the pool better It did

On my ubuntu server I got pushpoold compiled and installed but when I try to run it, it says can't locate libevent.so.5 file not found. I installed libevent according to the guide, I also found there is a shortcut for it in /usr/local/lib I'm not too sure what to do. I went into /etc/ld.so.conf and added a line "include /usr/local/lib/*.*" no go. Maybe i'm just being a linux noob just run: sudo apt-get install libevent-dev

had to restart the pool so the new webserver could see it. sorry for the brief outage.

on the new v1.5.8. using flags -I 8 -k phatk -v 2 -w 256 I get segfaults. Any other combination of vectors/worksize is fine. However, I lose about 70mh without those flags
Running 4x5850s, ubuntu natty 64, catalyst 11.6, sdk 2.4
I can't reproduce any segfaults here with that combination. Try deleting the .bin files and start it again. That fixed it

all my workers are offline. i assume this has to due with the update?
Half are back up thanks, but the other half is my problem. stupid hurricane. No workers should have been affected by the update. The pool & main sql never went down or hung. Update: site may be slow for a few minutes, I'm installing all of the web components on the new server.

New replication server is online. Page loads are MUCH better.
UPDATE: and it isn't updating. fixed shortly.
UPDATE2: After a swift kick in the pants, it's updating and it's FAST.

must... not... buy.... more.... cards... now...

The website is down while I move the replication server (this avoids me having to stop the pool)

Sorry for the delays. I'm trying to lock-down some things for 4.1.
Also, forum link has changed.

forum.simplecoin.us is up.
I haven't implemented single-sign-on yet, but your account is automatically setup when you first login using your simplecoin.us username/password.

Ok, add another 8core Xeon to the list of our server cluster It will serve web pages and handle sql replication.

Got the 3 5850s! Nicely packaged too.
All up and running, too.
Thanks!

Thanks for the update. I was wondering, but figured changes were being applied.
It's still lagging, I may just put the replication server on a new 8core server. The pool is fine, but the website is a bit laggy right now.

Optimizing some stats queries, sorry if the page load is slow for a bit.
Trying to make querying 3-4 million rows take less than a split second.

where did you buy those 3x5850s? In the goods section of this forum.

You guy's are scaling up!?
I have only two 5850's to my name. I'm actually going to have to part with them soon (as I plan to move abroad in a few months). It's a shame to, I'm proud of my miner. 732 Mh/s, 2.4 Mh/J, and very, very quiet. Ah well.
I <3 5850s. let me know if they need a good home And yes, I'm scaling up.
