Jure is silent, but he arranged and celebrated the first recorded purchase of a good: Two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin. Wink

Like the pizza? Cheesy

Didn't read much about it, but already saw that some big whales are involved.

EDIT: Not talking about people mentioned in the crowdsale.

pool mining Huh

PoW is over long time ago. ARCO is now PoS only.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rumor Bittrex is releasing it new layout soon on: May 17, 2017, 06:13:39 AM
More important is that Bittrex is a reputable exchange. I talked with them in number of occasions and they were always responsive, polite and straight. I think the exchange deserves more volume and I'm pretty sure it will get it.

I think Karma is completely dead?
346  Economy / Scam Accusations / Yet another scam accusation against YoBit on: May 15, 2017, 06:04:31 AM
Last year I opened a scam accusation against YoBit because of ARCO (AquariusCoin (link to the scam accusation thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.0)), painted them and some of their staff in red and they solved the issue (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.msg17019449#msg17019449), but this time my patience is over. See my tickets to YoBit:

They needed about 7-8 months (time frame painted in red, but I opened the first ticket after some time) to update the wallet and now it's taking about 2 months (painted in black, but again the first ticket was opened after some time).

You may think of it like it's just another s*itcoin under maintenance, but there are financial losses to ARCO holders! Currently I am able to see about 22k coins in sell orders up to 3600 satoshi, but I suspect they are a lot more and that YoBit is probably staking the coin. Where is the financial loss here? Well, I am a major holder (though I have 0 coins on YoBit) and I have about 115k coins. I am able to stake about 10k coins/month, which at current prices (ARCO ~2500 satoshi & Bitcoin @ $1760) means ~0.25 BTC/month or $440. Let's assume that these 22k are 1/5 of my holdings. This means ~0.05/month, ~0.5 BTC for these ~10 months under maintenance or $880. Now imagine if they match my wallet? We're talking about close to $5,000 potential loss of the holders for doing nothing (other than to keep their wallets open 24/7). What if the price goes up (ARCO's current supply is only 1.2 million coins, there are real people behind it and there's much space to grow)? What if we mention these other 10s (or maybe 100s) of coins, which are under maintenance for months? I am almost certain that YoBit screwed people with 100s of thousands $!

Guys, please post link to threads of coins, which are under maintenance for too long and share since when they are under maintenance. I'm not removing my negative trust, until ALL of mentioned coins are not fixed and I kindly ask fellow trusted members (at least I'd like to think I am one...) to paint them in red as well!

IF the issue with ARCO is not fixed within the next 10 days (until May 25), then I'll do even more than just opening a thread against you.

To all - my suggestion is to withdraw your coins (if possible) from the exchange, because (I repeat as I said in the previous thread) they will disappear...

YoBit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594), fix your shit!

Cheers,
Spartak

Just had a conversation with Adam (and Jure knows about it). We should expect ARCO on cryptovpshosting soon, though Adam gave no ETA, because he shared that there are some issues with the site and he wants to clear them out first.

Good news bro! Please check your Telegram.
349  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is it Yobit going to scam? Held my Balance for more than 3 months !!! on: May 12, 2017, 03:28:35 PM
What's worse here (and nobody pointed it out) is that the price of EDR back in February (at the time this guy tried to withdraw) was over 56k satoshi/coin or ~$0.58/coin. This means the user got stuck close to $30,000 in EDR on YoBit. Now the price (in BTC) is 30 times lower (~1800 satoshi). Not sure how their "market" works (as EDR is obvious scam) and if he was able to sell them all at this price, but still...

OK,

I had a conversation with Adam, which worked with chrysophylax for over a year now and we have decided to welcome him on the team. He is from Australia. Will wait for more opinions, until we finally decide about re-branding, but personally I think we should do it and Adam's opinion is the most important one here as he (as me) is the Co-Founder of FAILCommunity. Isaac has exams this week, but he will be free in the next one. I guess we can then play with some new logos. Smiley

Cheers,
Spartak

Keep up the good work, guys!

Btw, what is your opinion on re-branding FAILCoin? I was thinking to use FAIL as a FAILCommunity's token, instead of FAILCoin as its coin. I'd like to hear more opinions.

Cheers,
Spartak

Yes - We did speak about this quite a bit back - moving over to something more community focused in structure and I think the system should follow - but nothing ethereum based!

Holy shit, bro... you should know better that I HATE Ethereum. Cheesy It was all about a community with its own cryptocurrency, but token sounds more modern. I will ask our other members on Facebook and Telegram, but I think it's already decided.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCO] AquariusCoin | The water of crypto | NO premine | on: May 08, 2017, 02:34:49 PM
These are Jure's words, not mine:

"If you have a full node with NAT TCP port and at least a few 1000 ARCO on it, you are essentially already a master node."

And to be honest, ARCO network looks great!

You want to earn more coins? It's easy! Maybe I should not share this, but I don't care. I currently have about 113,000 ARCO and I'm staking about 300-350 coins/day or ~10k ARCO/month, which at current prices means 0.13 BTC/month. Even 1/15th of these coins can pay the electricity of your PC (if you use one). Smiley If more people have their coins in their wallets, then maybe my personal (and yours) stake will drop, but even 1/3 of this is good enough, no? Master nodes are just a gimmick!

ARCO is currently a pure s*itcoin in terms of usage and we all know this. What is needed is more people involved with ideas (which matters). Don't be fooled by others, were 105 shill accounts are used to "promote" it. You have a fast coin with clean code and people using their real identities. Buy, sell, give advices, promote - there are a lot of opportunities and much space to grow.

Cheers,
Spartak

Is there any possibility of implementing master node in ARCO in the future?

That's not a bad idea. Will discuss it with Jure (though personally I'm not a fan of master nodes).
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCommunity's FAILCoin | UNITY IS POWER | NEW MINING POOL on: May 06, 2017, 01:12:44 PM
Hello,

I'm sorry, but looks like we kinda missed chrisophylax's pool. I saw the post, but was just returning from a night shift and needed some sleep. Here's the link: http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/fail/index.php

OP is updated. Thank you mate!

Cheers,
Spartak
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCommunity's FAILCoin | UNITY IS POWER | NEW MINING POOL on: May 05, 2017, 07:29:28 PM
Pool is up and seems to be running fine. Some hash is already pointed and all back-end is working good.

Fee is 1.5% which will be kept to once side for now (Until I decide with the team what we plan to use it for)

Payments are set to payout when you have a minimum of 3000 FAIL

Thanks a bunch bro! But I do think we should remove the fee (or lower it to 0.5% or something). With this block reward fees will be like 2-3k coins per month. Let the miners take them and I'll cover it all, no worries. PM me with some address and tomorrow will send you 20k (as I'm about to leave for work), which we can keep for something else.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCO] AquariusCoin | The water of crypto | NO premine | on: May 04, 2017, 07:19:55 PM
OK, I wrote to YoBit (again) and let's see what happens. I HOPE they will do their job and update the wallet (despite it was previously updated and there was no reason for this maintenance (at least not from ARCO's side)).

Cheers,
Spartak

Anyone planning on using the pool: This is the first pool I have operated so don't scream and moan if anything goes wrong, things are backed up but it is a learning curve! Any questions PM me!

Cheesy

Time for me to go to work, bud. Will contact you tomorrow on Telegram as I want us to discuss something. All heil FAIL! Smiley

Hello,

New FAIL pool: http://failpool.cryptovpshosting.org/. The pool is controlled by Adam, so you can all feel safe about your coins if you decide to mine.

Cheers,
Spartak
