Anyone know any websites that accurately determine profitablilty
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 11, 2014, 06:12:04 PM
True, but say it stays at the current price by the time the store opens in 2 weeks.  Only IPO's like myself will be able to get one.

And when the IPO's buy GPUs, within hours everyone else will be able to buy the GPUC you guys used to buy the product with.

And so the cycle continues.

If the GPUC does not get the needed support. No one will buy it and the CEO will not be able to cash in to order more GPU's. Cycle will eventually end and CEO has a bunch of GPUC to stare at in his wallet.

True, I mentioned this at the outset of this endeavour, but it also isn't a bad thing for the owner. He'll win either way.

He's an owner btw, not a CEO.

Technically he is the director. So we are both wrong..

I suppose one we open up on more exchanges. there will be more buyers which will push the price higher. We will just have to wait and see.

Who's idea was it to make a coin that has no profit. Idiots.. Dev and CEO you haven't thought this through have you again.... It costs me about £3 per day to mine gpu coin,at the current rate i am getting 20k gpu  per day. Now sell those on the exchange for $4 i just about break even.

Whats the point.... Do what everyone else is doing and mine other coins then buy on the exchange if you think there is any point..

cheers

Your mistake is you are treating this coin like any other where you mine and dump for profit.

If that is what you want you would be better mining DOGE or something else

The price of this coin will rise when the shop front opens then it's up to you whether you dump or use what you have to buy a new gpu

I never dump coins. I have a varied selection of coins in my stacks of wallets.

But, i like to see some value in a coin in case i ever need to sell.

And one full day after release determines the value  Roll Eyes

I see your point, but i have watched so many coins over the last 3 months studying them daily. And not many coins last to get higher than 10 times their initial value. I hope GPU coin can produce the goods. i really do. That's why i am here and an IPO member.

I suggested the CEO speak to me about an idea i have to boost the coin, but no reply. So i might take up goldcoins offer and suggest that to him instead or i might just start my own business and strike a deal with some asics devices in the UK..

Anyone want to try and setup a decent coin with me and Please only from the UK so i can discuss offline about any proposals. I am from Kent UK.

PM me..

If they can sell hardware cheaper than other online stores and still make a profit or even cover the expenses, why are they not doing it on USD already? If they can, why can't someone else and how come there isn't some store selling cheap gpu's and having them in stock all the time? If they can't, well, then there will be no business.

It doesn't matter if they sell cheaper or at store price or at a bit over the regular store price. It's still worth it because you will have to exchange one currency for a physical item and not GPU to BTC and then to USD and then purchase. You lose/win on each stage, but mostly you lose. And if the coin is backed by a physical item it gives it a value, so in turn in can drive the exchange rate for BTC and not the other way arround.

Overall if they will get the shop online and working then this coin will go a long way!

Totally agree, and i have an idea that will put this coin above bitcoin.. But i am not telling it here.. lol..

Above BTC???
You mean a market cap of above 12 billions??

All i can say is that its a possibility, But wont happen instantly. But the value will certainly increase well above litecoins in a very short time. Depends how strong willed the CEO is. I have now sent an email to the CEO, but not divulged any info, yet..

Madbit, maybe you should just email the CEO. Your cryptic and frankly outlandish statements here are starting to make you look a little.....nuts?

Ok, please ignore me.. i am mad...

EDIT: Of course if you do have some holy grail of an idea which makes this coin "bigger than Bitcoin", I will be the first not only to apologise, but also to pay for forgiveness with the riches you have made me Wink

In fact i might email CEO now..

I know how to put instant demand on this coin, but will need the CEO to agree, this would then increase the value to a considerable amount.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:26:57 PM
The problem with this coin is that the Dev never posts anything of value if at all and the community(if there is even one) are not really behind the coin.  I see no push to get it on any decent exchanges and sites like crypto rush only have a few votes from people.
I see this coin dying pretty fast which is a shame.

Maybe, if you feel it needs this, we could get on and do this ourselves.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:24:51 PM
This coin is in for the long haul. Not just a pump and dump coin like so many others, in fact nearly all of them.. I think it has a future, give it time. We all need to slow down a little.. Promote once the time is right. Maybe the CEO and dev already have plans to promote and could maybe share a few of the ideas with us??
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:18:50 PM
It could be a scam in 3 acts:
First Act: StackCoin => cash out all the btc and disappear
Second Act: RealStackCoin => restore the confidence
Third Act: Gpucoin => second cashout lol.

LOL! +1

No, its not like that!!!!! If the guy wanted to cash out, he could have done a runner with the bitcoins already without launching with the ipo fund. You forget he has a registered company, he has a lot at stake.

I don't think it will die, if they do it correctly. I agree that more exchanges should have been provided. But there is a reason for this, That reason is to allow the smaller miners to get some action, because if you open u-p to the exchanges more people will know about the coin which will certainly put value on the coin, but will also make it harder for the CEO to keep up and then the coin will fail as per my previous post earlier.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:12:41 PM
The problem of not sharing in the potential fortunes of a company these days and with the core foundations and principles that made bitcoin itself what it is today and will continue to be.

Is that the little man should always get a cut of the action however small and this will keep the wheels turning in the finance world.

Is appears to me that, we are fast going back to the old ways of rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer scenario. This is NOT the way it should be..
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:03:34 PM
It's a very risky business model. The main person stands to lose a lot of money if things don't go as planed.

How, unless it cost more than the IPO funds to pay for the GPU's. I am sticking with this coin, but very anxious. I am interested to see how the business plan pans out. I just hope for everyone's sake that they have more than just selling GPU's and hardware.
