30 hours left before the end of the 10% bonus !
No bonuses on investment will be available in the following weeks

How much BTC is needed to invested to be eligible for the Dividend?

To get 10 000 MNM you need to do the following calculation :
( total BTC invested / 4 000 000) * 10 000 = Minimum to invest to be eligible for the dividends.

Since we need to raise at least 50 BTC, the minimum investment need is :
(50 BTC / 4 000 000) * 10 000 = 0,125 BTC
I think this proyect is interesting and I have invested some BTC in it. But I think that the eligibility strategy is not the fairest possible. Let's say you think total investment is going to be approximately 70 BTC, so you invest 0.20 BTC to be sure you are going to get your 10000 mineum minimum to be elegible for dividend.

But in the last minutes of the ICO two whales invest additional 50 BTC each, and suddenly total amount reach for example 150 BTC. In that case with your investment you have 5300 mineum and you need to buy another 4700 in the market to be elegible for dividend.

I think that a formula based in BTC invested and not mineum rewarded as

Quote
Minimum invest /(total BTC invested/4000000)=Quantity of mineum needed to be eligible

Could be fairer.

So if you determine 0.125 as minimum BTC invest and you get
50 BTC 10000 mineum needed to be eligible
100 BTC 5000 mineum needed...
150 BTC 3333.33 mineum...
and so on.

And an idea for the web, I would be fantastic to have in an easy place the ways to participate in the bounties and how to get the rewards correctly for signature, tuitting, facebook (screenshots, mailing mineum address,..? I'm not very sure how to do it).

Thanks.

Devs need to pay attention to this maths. That will be more fairer.

What is the easiest way to send coins to a different wallet while breaking up into individual address for staking. I want to send lots of coins to one address and then break them up into multiple addresses. Any ideas how this is done?
Right now you must do it by using coin controll in wallet.
When i did this long time ago, i specified a custom change address, choose a input i want to splitt and send that block to the addy you want it in. Spesify the custom change address as the same address you send to, and the block/input you choose is now splitted.
You can have it all on the same address.
Continue to you are happy. until you are happy.

New wallet will have automatic ways to do this very easy.

IW

Nice to see you here! ETA for a new wallet?

What POS coin has the highest interest percentage? (of the list)

Cheers

That would have to be BigUp with POS 2 @ 100% per year immediately and forever.

Unless I am wrong :p then please someone point me to the insane POS coin :p Smiley

It's TEK with 40% monthly interest.

350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PMP] / Now With Even MORE Friction in Every Transaction ;-) on: May 10, 2016, 09:12:08 AM
What could be the reason that the transaction is not confirmed i.e. why is there no new blocks in the chain?

I mined one block some hours ago, and it has only one confirmation.

@TheLittleDuke, I dont need the coin back, you can use it for testing once it gets confirmed.

The reason is that not all wallets with coins are open. For example i have 5 or 6 amounts on a block in ma wallet. every few days when i switch on those amounts stake and create a block other stakes are confirmed, now I have to wait for 60 confirmations to get my coins free to stake again. That's why it is so slow ....

Wow that is REALLY UNSATISFYING -- talk about a lot of Friction.

Straight up, what do you think this chain is good for / at?

What is it's competitive advantage?

Because if holding the coins and hoping for a miracle exchange is all you got I might take the loss.

OR

If you REALLY cared about the care and feeding of this chain, you'd do something similar to what we're doing in the "airdrop" in 2GIVE -- that is specifically seeding the network by dropping coins every 1/2 hour for the first month which become eligible for staking in 30 days.

If you want to power up PMP, what I would do is spin up a bunch of cloud wallets on AWS or CrownCloud et al -- and then STRATEGICALLY send coins to those wallets at some regular interval so that they could keep the chain fed with regular transactions in the future.

Hoping for others to download the software and then beg for coins is not going to make it happen -- and unless you have a marketing plan, no exchange is going to host it for long -- especially if the chain is as flakey as it appears to be.

Hi Duke,
thanks for bumping the thread a little. I see that you guys did some movement, when I was away from PC.  I am traveling by the end of the week, and only when I come back I will be able to turn on my wallet to move the blockchain a little bit. I was doing that (together with someone else) for most of the last year or so. Splitting your coins in many parts has a clear advantage: it is easier to get the required 50 confirmations to be able to stake again and thus move the blockchain forward. Currently we are in the situation where we literally had 2-3 people regularly opening their wallets and that was sometimes not enough to get to 50 confirmations.

as for the valuation. PMP was thought to be a low coinage coin, with the total of 400-500k coins being currently in circulation. 640k coins that has not yet been distributed sit in the team wallet, to which Nullu has the keys. As Nullu is not active anymore and we know the address of that wallet, it is as easy as to exclude these coins in the swap process, if it takes place. You mentioned that 2GIVE has 1000 fold more coins, thus I would see 1:1 conversion as definitely too harsh. PMP may not be tradeable at any exchange at the moment, but swapping PMP you are also buying a user base that in its peak moment had about 1200 addresses - we had identified about that many unique users to which the coins were distributed. That is an asset too, that should be taken into account when looking for the swap rate. In my opinion a fair value would be somewhere around 1:20 - 1:25 (2GIVE for 1 PMP, respectively).
Just my 2PMPs for what is worth.

I do not think that we will be able to collect even half of all distributed PMP coins for this swap. Because the majority of wallets did not participated in the POS for a very long time.
So yes, 1:20 looks very reasonable.

Hey there!

I think I need to swap my v2 coins to v3 coins. Because at the swap time I just replaced the v3 wallet.dat with v2 wallet.dat. But I can not remember exactly, a long time I did not open the DOPE wallet. But coins are carried in a v3 wallet (3.0.0.3). What you will advise? If I need a swap, please give a link to the v2 wallet (not mega.co.nz please). Thank you!

Official Syscoin 2.0 Launch Update

Quick update before signing off for the night. The team has been working on the migration all day and while there were a few minor changes needed to make the process smoother for exchanges things have proceeded exactly as planned. We're still waiting for some major exchanges to complete the conversion and communicate to us all balances are satisfactory. While some have already done this we've asked them to wait until at least the other major exchange has confirmed before reopen withdrawal/deposit to be fair to all traders on both platforms.

We're still operating within the 24hr timeframe we communicated, and we'll be releasing the full launch announcement along with some other materials tomorrow morning (US/PST). This way the team can be online to answer questions that may come up related to using Syscoin 2.0 features or general questions about the conversion process.

Looking forward to sharing more in just a few hours! Smiley

Sounds good. Will wait. Thanks for the good work!
