B1 Avalons earned more than 5BTC/Day when they first arrived. As per your question: March of 2013. They were ~$1,200 for the first batch and $1,500 (IIRC) for the second. wow........ then those who had that avalon since they first arrived... now they are rich or what?? xDD 5BTC/Day...... how many days lasted that gift? xD Just be thankful you had no dealings with bfl. --> bfl is the company? problems with them?. bfl = butterflylabs = the most hated company for asics around = very long delays more then 13 months on some cases. more than 13 months?? ommggg xD hope thats not the case with my pair of S3 xDD |

I've seen 12 posts asking about shipping.
Bitmain said around July 10th to start shipping and that's a Thursday. Repeatedly asking when it is going to ship when that information was supplied already is just cramming the thread up.
I know margins are tight, the tightest ever. You guys are now living through a pre-order. If you never ordered a pre-order, you'll drive yourself crazy dwelling on it everyday. When I ordered my KNC Jupiter, I had to wait 2 months for it to show up. The luckiest people in bitcoin were the ones that ordered those first Avalons. I think they made like 5BTC/day for a while. These things we'll never see again. Poo Poo Poo on that.

Has any S3 been shipped yet from Bitmain? I'm in batch 1, and status is still 'unshipped' (I know, it is supposed to be shipped between 10 and 20th of July...  so 1st batch between 10 and 20. 2nd batch before 20 they said?? but 3rd batch they said the same as 2nd batch, so i dont understand. Should be something like... 1st --> 10-15 2nd --> 15-20 3rd --> 20-25 that would be fair.... or send them faster... send them right now!!! xD Imho now is a priority game: if they have enough units to cover all the three batches, probably they'll ship once all the miners w/o adding delay to the last customer that has bought a batch 3 s3 Hope you are right wow 2-3 days delivery that would be AMAZING, i thought it was going to be 5-6 days |

How can you (definitively) tell which batch your order was in?
well i know its 2nd batch, and they will know, i suppose, checking order dates, or just the price  1st batch was 0.75, 2nd 0.74 and 3rd its 0.725 |

payment only use BTC ? can't use alt payment  I didnt have all the BTC i needed for paying 2 units, so i bought the rest using localbitcoins, you just pay a few more EUR for it, and you have it within minutes cheaper than paying 599 EUR for 1 unit on other resellers... |

might not not be enough for 2 S3 ants at max overclock of 554Gh Max overclock is 554GH/s? But i suppose thats risky, right? better OC to a lower value maybe...?? When you guys have them, please post parameters for overclocking and how much GH/s u get and how much power they take I have a 1000w gold supply and I plan to overclock to about 400w each s3, so that leaves good headroom and may pull about 510gh/s I reckon. Max overclock will possibly increase the wattage by quite a bit so, to do that your better off going for a 1300w gold. And do you know the parameters you have tu use in vim editor?. I have 2 corsair CX750M, so i want to know whats the best option for GH/s and W power consume. 400w-->510GH/s u think its the best option then? |

I have a question... If you dont have a big house with a big room just for miners.... where will you place miners in an apartment? Because i see you have big houses, not apartments, most of you with big rigs  if its an apt. you ain't running big rigs...apt. don't have that much power you can tap into...unless your using the whole apt. to try n mine with, n then you probably won't be able to use much of anytyhing that uses power etc. tv, toaster, microwave...hehe unless you tap into the circuit breaker box and wire your own setup...but even then i doubt there is enough power... Yeah i know hehe. But maybe i can run 6 S3 for example in the future or so, 2 S3 right now when they arrive, of course i dont expect to build big rigs such as many of you here have... |

The Third Batch of S3 sales price is dropped to 0.725 BTC each with international shipping, which will open sales at 22:00 pm on July 4th (UTM + 8 ). The Third Batch is most likely to be shipped before July 20th, but no more than one or two days delay may happen.
"The Second Batch is estimated to be delivered about 2-4 days after shipping of the First Batch of S3 for 0.75 BTC each, but still no later than July 20th." I dont understand... 3rd batch is going to be send same date as 2nd batch?? that wouldnt be fair  I want my 2 S3  And wouldnt be easier for bitmain, to start shipping batch 1 right now?
