Burn always have a positive impact on the token value by lowering the total supply. Yeah, burn unsold tokens is not a wrong decision. Better then putting them into the devs pockets or something like that. That should be the only right decision but unfortunately some teams are just to greedy to do that and i am glad Mirocana will burn all the unsold tokens since thats how you prevent the artificial value of the token.
