341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: December 18, 2015, 10:35:12 PM
if i play in casinos i always loose all my money i deposit and thats not too big of a surprise for me it doesnt mean that the house edge is cheating or that casino is cheating its the thing that has to happen because if people wouldnt loose there wouldnt be any casinos

There we go someone who losses and doesn't instantly think the casino is cheating. That is a good way to think but hopefully you start winning because always losing is not nice and I hope you check your rolls etc.

As long as you play at a long standing casino that has had no serious scam accusations you will never have to worry about being cheated.

There is however a risk playing at new casino start ups but again if they are provably fair and have good promotions I'd give them a shot with a small deposit.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: December 18, 2015, 09:59:23 PM
I have no set time when I buy. I buy when I have had a good month at work and after I've paid the bills etc If there is anything left then I buy a little to keep topped up. I was lucky to manage to invest a fair amount when it was cheaper and dabbled with trading and found I wasn't to bad at it and have increased my coin mainly from that.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 18, 2015, 05:17:33 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

* However unlikely and practically impossible that scenario is I will answer anyway - Nothing would happen that doesn't now just a move from centralized to decentralized. Not sure what would happen to the forum especially the trading and exchange! Guess it would be closed.

* We may lose a few community members a long the way but it would not be a big deal because we probaby would have lost them anyway. The rest would get smarter.

* The solution would be to continue as is but taking better precautions than we already do. Bitcoiners are not stupid (well the majority aren't) Also there are decentralized exchanges with smart contracts in the alt world that can be used for btc as the main exchange.

Saying that imo there will be no ban on bitcoin as they will see it is near impossible to enforce with decentralized exchanges popping up for trading coins and goods. In my mind they could only regulate and ban centralized exchanges and services.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin user adoption is horrible - here is why: on: December 17, 2015, 09:24:56 PM
I have to agree with you that there is horrible and to long and reliant on middle men. Bitcoin to me is meant to take us away from  the middle man and into straight transaction relying on nobody but miners and your wallet security.
I'm still hopeful all that funny business will fade away and we will make straight transaction payments with bitcoin. I do question if it currently gets enough usage to warrant that though.
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can gambling sites deduct amounts in my account? on: December 17, 2015, 08:56:35 PM
its very easy for gambling site owner to do this , as long they know how to manage the website by their own, just my advice to you, trust only trusted gambling site

yes but they often scam ( reputed sites ) Sad

Don't troll and talk rubbish. It is hard to remember a site that has been going a year do anything along the lines of scammy. In general if the site is trusted and been here awhile nothing is happening. All you have to do is withdraw your funds after playing it is super simple and saves any worry.
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can gambling sites deduct amounts in my account? on: December 17, 2015, 09:19:48 AM
Why would you ask that after a week of playing?

I'll be honest it sounds like you may be up to no good. (if that is the case then yes they can easily!)

If you're a normal player just playing dice not doing anything shady then you have nothing to worry about in the slightest pal assuming of course that you are playing at one of the top dice sites.

Just wanna ask as I don't remember how much I have in my account. I just login and saw that amount I never have. will try to record my btc every time i go stop.

I see, in my opinion assuming you are playing at a trusted site you have nothing to worry about. But to be on the safe side and for your own piece of mind you are best of withdrawing after your days gambling. So you are always in control of your own funds which is one of the best thing about bitcoin. You gotta be in control of your priv keys pal.

348  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBTCCasino.com - Provably Fair - HTML5 Mobile games on: December 15, 2015, 08:39:07 PM
Good job on the team. Having this promotions coming gives our cause a real meaning.
Though it is a little bit weird the promotion had no winner. Perhaps the OP can clarify it.

I never see that competition before and what a competition it was! No play through no catch just play or withdraw. Awesome stuff luckybtccasino. I am finding it hard to believe that it only had 3 entrants so that could be why no winner was selected because there wasn't one. Or it was announced here on this thread as it says on there. Discuss this contest please use our thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=958133.0;topicseen

i tried this casino in early 2015, but latter i seldom see OP, i recommend OP will offer better games and bonus with low rollovers, so more people will came to play in your casino, good luck OP

There is many many games there. What games would you be thinking? Also they have 100%bonus which is very generous as well as a big campaign. One step at a time but I'm sure all ideas are good and he may use them as I probably would.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Bitcoin's price after the halving on: December 15, 2015, 02:19:27 PM
I think as we approach the halving this is going to get super exciting once again and the price of bitcoin will be flying. More than likely over the ATH and who knows from there.

We are sure to have a massive dump after though then back to a higher floor than before the pump but still there will be a dump obviously.

If I could vote for three then I would because that is most likely. Lets go with price fluctuation very big at that..
350  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 15, 2015, 01:53:59 PM
im pretty sure that some girls are using it in my opinion i know at least a few girls that use it really often so most probably there are a lot more than the ones i know though for sure my friends dont use it as much as i do

You would be right thinking some girls are using bitcoin. The gap between men and women is probably fairly big but I have no doubt in my mind there are many women here in bitcoin. Girls love spending and bitcoin is no exception.

My wife is one of them and I have a few friends whose partners are using bitcoin to both trade and spend. Reason I know is because we don't actually like them spending our bitcoin but would much rather spend our fiat haha
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: December 15, 2015, 01:42:44 PM
Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Yes of course sports betting is gambling. People are down hundreds of thousands betting on sports. Saying that, to me it is much more worthwhile to have a few small bets a month on your favorite team or horse than play against the house.

My personal reason is I know a little about sports and I have some experience which gives me the slight edge I need to be slightly profitable with good bankroll. As with any gambling its about not getting carried away and be happy with small wins risking small amounts.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: December 13, 2015, 07:28:40 PM
The price of bitcoin is regularly fluctuating, so you might get $100 worth of bitcoins now, $50 or $200 worth of bitcoins tomorrow, who knows? So, do you prefer a currency that is more stable, like cash (USD, EUR...), or do you treat bitcoins as a currency, for investment to let it grow?

State why you prefer your option. Smiley

I love the fact that it is so volatile and that makes for a big reason why I am here, it gives potential to earn from it bouncing.

I prefer bitcoin to the usd its just a case for others to feel the same and get accepted everywhere and give me no reason to continue to use usd.

I treat it as both a currency and an investment for the future. In case not obvious my vote is for bitcoin.
353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Betcoin.ag legit? on: December 13, 2015, 05:45:29 PM
Hello Everyone,  I recently been reading allot of articles and reviews about bitcoin and it seems to be doing well so i figured i would give it a shot. I have switched from usd poker to bitcoin poker and want to know the community's personal opinion on the betcoin.ag site? Please if you do not mind give me some advice about the site ? is it trustworthy? are payouts on time ?  Is support staff friendly?

In my experience it is very legit and I  have never read or seen anything scammy about them. They are leaders in the poker field and its good you have found them, their support I can only answer from one issue which was resolved within minutes and I give them top marks.

Withdrawals don't take long the maximum I have waited is around 24 hours. Usually within 6 hours. Anything else please pm me I will be happy to help out. Well done on moving from the usd Smiley

355  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is Betcoin.tm 4 real? on: December 13, 2015, 04:46:46 PM
Hy guys. I recently found a casino called betcoin.tm. I thought it was pretty strange they offer as a bonus for registering about 13.5 BTC.
Anyone using this site? is it for real=?

I read mixed reviews when I hit the google search. Your best bet is to do your own research before depositing at any casino and if you feel safe after researching then go ahead and deposit.

You are kind of doing that here but you may get alts come and tell you how legit they are and believe them. Look around and decide don't listen to anyone including me. I stay away though after my reading on them.

Reading the post below me I would say that is crazy, 400x wager to withdraw lol Check the wagering requirement to see if that is true if it is then....... good luck
356  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015 on: December 13, 2015, 04:33:52 PM
This poll has been corrupted with a crazy amount of newbie alts which is stupid to say the least  lol From my time here the best dice site to me is either BitDice or JustDice.

I find myself going with BitDice, well done Alex. I would leave my funds on either site and not have a worry in my mind. Your clear on your provably fair and investment. Top sites!
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 10, 2015, 11:14:38 AM
To me BItcoin is worth more than real money. Real money I spend daily without a care in the world I do not save paper money because it is worthless but my BItcoin is held in secure paper wallets/hardware. Bitcoin to me is more like gold, I mean an investment for when it is accepted worldwide as is gold which I do save.

We do have people here live on this extreme with me but then we have the other end where people see it as a way to gamble and buy crap from the dark web like you say. Each to their own is the saying I believe.

In short I am much more careful with bitcoin than I am with paper. To me the value are far apart.

Not only it's real, it the ONLY REAL money we have today (aside from altcoins ofc). Fiat & gold are crap - the primary reason why the world is so fucked up.

Fiat is correct but come on gold is far from crap lol

358  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBTCCasino.com - Provably Fair - HTML5 Mobile games on: December 10, 2015, 10:43:49 AM
Really enjoyed the Blackjack interface at LuckyBTC as well as the rules. Being able to double and split at will.

Will try out other games as well. Wouldn't have even known about it had I not entered the signature campaign.

I liked that as well and many other games but to much to choose from as you get a very big choice here. Bitcoin Crown and Anchor Dice was fun and better than average dice games. I don't play much usually nowadays but I wanted to test it before advertising for it and the casino gives the feel you want to stay and play more. Only thing missing is free food and a place to sleep. No doubt I will come back to play again very soon.
359  Economy / Gambling / Re: the betting increse more and more lose, Why? on: December 10, 2015, 10:26:52 AM
hi, why a gambling site, the more i bet higher the possibility of the loss bigger.
till my balance is not sufficient anymore to bett again Smiley I often have it . whether other gambling sites are also the same, apply it as it also Huh Huh

If you are playing a provably fair site which checks out then you just have bad luck betting bigger amounts. It happens! In poker when I have played bigger games than I usually would I would get unlucky more than usual a hella lot not because it was rigged just the ways of the universe and law of averages going against you. Unfortunately when you want it to be working with you lol It just shows you to not bet the higher amounts.
whether a play gambling only need luck? if such 0% hope we will win at a gambling site Angry

Well kinda. I would say some experience and bankroll discipline will help a lot in the long run. Over all though you will need luck and lots of it and be able to walk away with winnings and not get greedy and bet more and more do.

(which most cannot)

Like yourself they usually hope/wish to win more so thus bet more. Neither will work and more times than not make you go broke and the said casino more profit. If it comes and you win big then there is the chance of having to deal with addiction  :/
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: December 10, 2015, 09:55:03 AM
Did someone try this? http://www.getonebit.com/ It looks like you can use bitcoin direcly, like you would use a credit card, to pay in every store that accepts credit cards. It sounds great though reality will proof if it's great.

Thanks for the link I have not seen or tryed this yet but only because I have not seen the idea until now, I will be giving it a try in the very near future. If this works out then that will be another step for Bitcoin and a big one at that.

op I like holding and using bitcoin more because it cannot be touched by feisty agencies or anyone I don't give the priv keys to. I don't trust or like banks so instead of cash under the mattress I have keys in different locations which to me make me feel safe.
