Can you provide proof that these were indeed purchased from the seized assets (if there were any?). It seems like an incredibly good offer at 1.5BTC for the lot unless they are encrypted in which case the chances of recovery are extremely slim.

Here is the court order:

(see pg. 21 and exhibit B) http://cryptsyreceivership.com/v1/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/CCF_000148.pdf

The forensic team has previously determined that none of these wallets are encrypted. None of the other wallets were encrypted. And I can guarantee the buyer that none of these wallets are encrypted.

How did you gain this?

These coins were purchased from the court appointed receiver in Florida.

Why make a new altcoin, when you can rebuild a dead one?

Introduction: Cryptsy was an early cryptocurrency exchange that was "hacked." The exchange was then abandoned and a court-appointed receiver hired a forensic team to enter the facility and recover the remaining coins. These are the final wallets from that recovery effort. There will be billions of coins on these wallets. If you don't know the backstory, just google "cryptsy hack".

What is being sold? Wallet.dat files recovered from the exchange. These wallet.dat files have not been inspected and are in their original state as recovered by the forensic team. These are the main wallet.dat files from the exchange, so most of them will contain a LOT of coins. In many cases millions upon millions.

The main challenge will be in rebuilding a community, setting up nodes, and getting an exchange listing. I think you could take a couple of these and build a top 500 cryptocurrency practically overnight. The reason is the coin wouldn't be a premine and would have an existing supply.

These are all solid PoW or PoS coins which are currently in high demand because of the bad rap ICOs are getting. These coins are all safe for exchanges and would not be considered securities.

Please find below a complete list of the 61 coins (wallet.dat file only) that will be included:

This is a blow-out price considering that the right developer could literately turn these coins into a gold mine. Some of the coin names are most excellent and I think many would do well in today's market.

Price is 1.5 BTC OBO No refunds! Escrow is fine. Wallet.dat files are in their original state as received and have not been inspected or tampered with.

Please ask any questions below or send PM. I'll be monitoring this thread throughout the day. Cheers!

The security of GoldCoin is really tight. I do appreciate them. And their mission is really awesome. Best of luck.

This project is developing very well and receiving the support of investors, it is a great success of this project. I believe it would be nice if the market rebounded and grew, which would boost the project further.

Yes. We intend to take this project to the top of CMC sometime before the close of 2020. Watch out big brother Bitcoin!

Great project, tell me please, is there any plan that goldcoin will be included in bitfinecks?

Sure. I think that would make an excellent addition.

It was recently announced in our Telegram chat that UDAX will soon be listing GLD. This would open up several Asian markets for GoldCoin.

I see GoldCoin as a project that can benefit users and profits for investors. The project also mentions how they do to create a physical gold substitute. Many people are skeptical about the gold standard of digital money. I suggest, the project should promote more widely to people about the value of GoldCoin!

Instead of making up some random things to say about GoldCoin in order to increase your signature count, you should seriously take a look at this currency.

It's going to change a lot of people's lives for the better.

Regarding mining GoldCoin GLD I think few people asked where to mine or how at least on telegram.
So GoldCoin is based on a scrypt algorithm and can be mine with hardware like antminer L3+, Innosilicon A4+ or other scrypt hardware.
GLD can be mined at prohashing (4.99%fee), hash2coins (0%fee but half hash wasted) or and which I prefer and using is zergpool (0.5%fee)
Prohashing is expensive and not that great as should be.
Hash to coins probably free but you will get about half of coins you should be mined because do to 51% gdl defence system hash2coins is blocked with half of his dominated hash mostly. Just look at stats there always pool hash is 50% of Net and by my opinion if you looking to mine only GLD you loosing 50% of your hash.
Zergpool is multi coins pool with autoconversion to your desired coin payout.
This can be btc but GLD as well also there is option to mine only specific coin so in your miner password field you need paste c=GLD,mc=GLD. Worker is your GoldCoin wallet address.
Just sharing my point because pool which I been mining long time (gldpool.dns.navy) is closed down.
Mining no dumping but hodling!
GoldCoin will rewards us very well one day!

Thank you for posting this helpful mining information. Great to see you back on Telegram!

goldcoin is not good coin
because volume transaction is not big
and only accepted in bittrex, good exchanger, but volume transaction is low not big

Actually, Goldcoin is an excellent coin and is traded on 5 exchanges with Yobit and others coming this month.
