Arsenal deserves all the appreciation for sure. Their comeback from a 0-1 disadvantage to 3-1 lead was amazing to watch honestly.
It was another proof of how strong the relationship among the players is right now. The team performance is so good that they are still playing very well and staying productive in the absence of Gabriel Jesus on the front. Nketiah did a good job today by scoring a goal while most people weren't giving much chance to him. Saka was there to wake up the team as always by scoring the first goal. It looks like Arsenal are still the same despite the long break.

Lazio have done a good job so far by having a good form in general. They are very good about keeping up with the top teams now. Maybe Napoli are at a very different level now but we never know what will happen in the future. We don't know what kind of a return they will make. If they lose momentum we can suddenly see a title race starting seriously again.
As for Lazio again, their next game is a comfortable one. It is against Lecce and I don't except any big mistake from Lazio here. This season they have a bigger potential to finish the season in top 4.

Liverpool got what they wanted by a really reassuring victory like 3-1. Aston Villa seemed weaker than I expected when it comes to general performance. They weren't much durable and Liverpool got a really good efficiency from their attackers in this game. I would have liked to see Firmino in the starting eleven instead of Nunez but unfortunately he was injured.
It was nice to see Salah scoring as well because Liverpool really need his productivity a lot these days to recover.

Hopefully it is time for Monaco to start rising in the league. Their upcoming game is against Auxerre away. This is a really comfortable game for Monaco on paper. There has been a long time since these two played against each other maybe. But still Monaco have a good history against them and they are a far better team currently obviously.
Auxerre are new around here this season. They have been doing quite bad so far and I don't think they can resist Monaco. I will be betting on Monaco's win @1.77.

Ancelotti was looking for the successor for benzema. Enrick already bought from palmeiras with decent amounts of money. I think that ancelotti used him as the future asset while real madrid was also still looking for the beast striker that might have the same playstyle like benzema and that might be mbappe. There's no need to feel worry about that. Benzema has been planning some good plans regarding it. Even real madrid already planned to fine a replacement for modric once modric will be going out from madrid caused by he was an old enough to play football.
Madrid has been doing massive regeneration for its player. that means madrid will be coming back with the fresh players. I think that barcelona will not able to compete with madrid in the future.
Endrick can really be Real Madrid's future in the centre-forward position. However there are still many years for him to reach that level most probably. He is only 16 years old and this is even preventing him from joining Real Madrid before 2024.  However after he joins I will also be curious about his performance the most. Because Real Madrid believe in him very much seemingly. They were ready to spent 70 million euros for him even though he was only 16. Until he deserves the starting eleven I think Real Madrid would sign a top striker to take Benzema's place. |

I'm still negative about Roma and will continue to be as well. Because as long as Mourinho continues to use the same old boring strategies there is no way this team are having a much better season than the last one. Currently it is like there is nothing changed for this team comparing to the previous season. They are still losing so many points and staying behind many big teams in the standings.
Obviously Roma need a substantial change in their game plan. They need to have a more attacking focused game rather than a cautious one.

Arsenal are good at maintaining a solid team performance. Jesus' absence is not good of course but they are accustomed to play without him indeed. There was a long time period that he didn't score even for once. But Arsenal still continued to defeat their opponents by having productive games as well. This is enough proof for the strong bond between the players.
West Ham are not in good condition at all. This break was a chance for them to think about what they were doing wrong of course. But still I don't think they can steal any point in Emirates.

It looks like Ronaldo is really about to sign for Al-Nassr huh.
Ronaldo would not let the chance to be a player with big salary to be passed. I meant once ronaldo will not get a new club until the end of january and then he shall think to sign with al nassr. that's best choice rather than still waiting for the interest from the european club which didn't interested with him anymore. I think that ronaldo must also think that will quite better rather than running the next season without any club. That's why ronaldo might consider al nassr a lot at this moment. I hope that he will try to decide what's gonna best for his life. It can be really very difficult for Ronaldo to find a big team competing in the Champions League for himself from now on. Because his performance level has dropped down very sharply. He can't play even close to the level of the previous season now. We saw it again when he had the chance at Portugal in the World Cup as well. As a result, teams aren't eager to spend a lot of money for his salary while he doesn't have much thing to give to them as of now. Leipzig are really the most serious team that have a potential to make difficulties for Bayern Munich. However this is a really small potential as always. Bayern Munich are still way ahead of them as well. Leipzig were able to fight with them for some time in one of the seasons before but they gave up on the title race quite early after that.
As long as Dortmund don't make any change in their business model I think Leipzig can become the second strongest team in the league. Because they are more competitive now.

allegri is even very safe in the juventus coaching chair, even the club president and ranks resigned in the last month but allegri position is still quite safe. maybe if allegri fails to make juventus finish in the top 4 this season his position as coach of juventus is in serious danger of being sacked. but previously juventus is currently managed by new president Maurizio Scanavino who was appointed recently after Andrea Agnelli resigned from his position. I don't think that Martinez is better than De Gea these days. De Gea is still showing a very consistent performance for Manchester United. I can't talk about that much consistency for Martinez on the other hand. Yeah, his performance at Argentina (especially in the finale) was really amazing. But I can't say that he has been that much impressive in general at Aston Villa so far.
I'm talking about this because there have been some rumours such as Manchester United will replace De Gea with Martinez. I think they should extend with De Gea at least for one more season until finding a better and younger goalkeeper.

Barcelona and Real Madrid both have comfortable fixtures ahead of them now. The opponents are Espanyol and Valladolid respectively. I don't expect any mistakes from both favourites.
Barcelona have already been very comfortable against smaller teams in the league for a long time. As for Real Madrid it has been a little complicated recently. They lost points in really unexpected games which was a big help for Barcelona to take the lead from Real Madrid. With the return of Benzema I think Real Madrid will fight stronger than before. Ancelotti should be successful with helping his players have full concentration on their games from now on.

After Haaland's move from Dortmund, their team has had some problems in attack. For which they are not performing very well. The team needs to add a good attacking player at this point.
Rather than their attacking performance, I think they are still lacking in defense too much. They are still conceding so many goals in their league games which is a big problem for them. This has held them back from collecting more points so far. They could have been the owner of the second position in the standings in the other case. There is still a long road ahead of them until the end of the season of course. But they need to focus on their defending more. I know that they are dealing with their Champions League games on one hand. But this shouldn't cause them to lose their concentration on their Bundesliga games. |

I don't think that it was just trash-talk what Argentina players did in the World Cup after eliminating Netherlands by penalties.
Their behavior was so not right there. This is just humiliating for Netherlands players. I also agree that it is meaningless to say that France might have done the same thing as well. We can't assume such thing while not having any proof that is showing a potential for such action. I don't remember France players doing a similar thing in the recent years. They have always just focused on their games and targets.

The only historical part of Manchester United's game against Nottingham is that they are playing against each other for the first time in 23 years. But no more than that indeed.
Because there is a significant gap between these teams at the moment. Maybe Nottingham defeated Liverpool but it was due to Liverpool's incapabilities. We all saw how Arsenal destroyed Nottingham as well. As long as Manchester United return strong and play focusedly there is no way they are losing points here. I expect them to be in full control from the beginning of the game.

Galatasaray have a big opportunity in hand as of now. Fenerbahce's loss by 2-0 against Trabzonspor created the opportunity. That red card changed the plans and Fenerbahce really had big issues in defense. Of course it isn't easy to stay strong in this situation against one of the tough opponents in the league.
But I would have still expected a better performance from Fenerbahce players. Having even no shot on target is just terrible statistics. It looks like they are still not fully ready for this part of the season mentally.

It looks like Ronaldo is really about to sign for Al-Nassr huh.
As long as he doesn't find a suitable team for himself in Europe there is no meaning in rejecting Al-Nassr's unbelievable offer. He just wanted to play in the Champions League a little longer but he is unlucky about not being able to find a proper team. I have heard that Al-Nassr's offer is a 7-year deal and 5 years of it are included as a different job in the same team for him. Normally his contract as a player will be lasting two years as far as I know. I don't know if he would like to continue there after playing for one or two years.

Dortmund will be most likely to sell Bellingham next summer. They just don't want to sell him already now as they need him in the middle of the season. But in the summer they will have quite enough time to sell Bellingham and find another young and talented replacement for him. Dortmund bought Bellingham for 25 million euros but his selling price will be over 100 million euros. It is an enormous profit. Dortmund and Ajax are like siblings in terms of the business model they adopt. Ajax are just Dortmund's champion version at the same time.  |

I really liked Manchester City and Liverpool both in their EFL Cup matchup. They were both promising for the rest of the season. Only Nunez made me worried because he was so ineffective. I know that he made an assist at least. But he wasted two big goal opportunities above all else. The shots were so bad that they didn't even hit the goal post.
I hope his scoring skills won't be bad in the Premier League from now on. Liverpool are believing in him to perform well. They have spent so much money for his productivity. He was amazing at Benfica and hopefully he will get closer to that level in time.

We will see how new president of Juventus will decide upon Allegri's future in the team. Because Agnelli himself was planning a long-term work relationship with Allegri before. But now Agnelli has resigned and we don't know what new president will do. There isn't any agreement with a new president yet as far as I know. Therefore Allegri still has time to continue to get positive results to be more convincing.
His Champions League performance was so horrible that he can make up for that by only putting up a strong fight until the end of the season. People will expect the team to be successful in the Serie A and Europa League both.
