Sevilla got what they wanted from the game against Valencia today. The first half didn't seem like Sevilla would win this game. But here we are seeing them as the winner by 2-0.

This was a really crucial win for Sevilla about getting away from the relegation zone. After this win they are officially eight points away from the zone. I don't think they would be under the same threat again in the remaining time of the season. But this season still has been a horrible experience for Sevilla for sure. They have been so inconsistent that it is very hard to trust them to bet on as well. I don't expect them to eliminate Manchester United in the Europa League as well.

It is really difficult to understand Arsenal for two weeks. This game against West Ham was literally the copy of the Liverpool one on the previous week. They got ahead by 2-0 again but couldn't keep this advantage to the end. Even after it became 2-1 Arsenal still had a big chance to open the goal gap once again with Saka. But he wasted the big chance I'm afraid.

Even after West Ham equalized the score I still believed in Arsenal to win this game somehow. But after another draw Manchester City are only four points behind with a missing game at the same time. This is really alarming for Arsenal about the title race.

Leverkusen's impressive winning streak has finally come to an end with a game against Wolfsburg. I'm not surprised with the result anyway honestly.

Because I was expecting them to rotate their lineup thinking of the second leg in the Europa League. Because they aren't in a good situation there now after getting a 1-1 draw. They will need to make an extra effort in the second leg so they need all of their important players on the field. I don't think they will focus on the Bundesliga less than there. Because they are doing a really good job about qualifying for a tournament so far.

I think Roma can still move Feyenoord out of their way in the tournament. Because their performance in the first leg was really promising actually. They wasted unbelievable opportunities in that game. One of them was a ball almost passing the goal line and the other one was a penalty. This game could have ended more differently if one of those attempts ended up with a goal.

I expect to watch a more effective Roma in this home game. Feyenoord's priority will be to secure this advantage to the end so they might play a little more defensive. Roma need to take advantage of their attacking power.

It is very lovely to follow the competition for the last spot to qualify for the Champions League. Betis have increased their chance again by benefiting from a big chance.

Still everything can change so quickly in the remaining time period of the season. Betis want to put more to their previous season performance by making it to the fourth position in the standings this time. But this is another tough journey for them indeed. Pellegrini has made a big impact on the team with his strategies and tactics. No matter what I expect him to stay at least for one more season. His contract already lasts until the summer of 2025.

I really think Dortmund don't deserve the league title anymore after that poor defensive performance against Stuttgart. It was a very comfortable game for them after it became 2-0 already and the red card just eased things for them. But a really rare thing happened and Stuttgart got one point after a magical comeback. It is really hard to explain Dortmund's playing this weak against those goals.

Dortmund just continue to hand over the title to Bayern Munich despite finding new chances. It is so hard to get this team really.

Manchester City are quite close to the semi finals now after getting a very solid win like 3-0 over Bayern Munich. Honestly I was waiting for Manchester City to win in Etihad but this was way more than my expectations. Especially in the second half Bayern Munich were pretty bad against them. It was like the game Manchester City played against Leipzig in this half.

Bayern Munich have nothing to lose from now on. They will need to take much bigger risks and Manchester City are just the team to benefit from that.

Manchester City look serious about going for a Bellingham transfer this summer. But it is still not known what his final decision will be about his future.

I'm pretty confident about one thing that Bellingham will end up similar to Haaland. I mean Dortmund can't keep him in the team this summer from now on. The question is about where his next station will be. Maybe Real Madrid might still be one step ahead as he has been wishing to join them. But I don't know if there is a situation like Real Madrid is his dream team. If it isn't then Manchester City can also have a big chance in this race.

I'm not surprised with the results Napoli and Milan got because they have a really important game ahead in the Champions League against each other. However I didn't understand how Inter lost against Monza in a home game. They surely have a game also in the Champions League. But they have already captured a huge advantage by beating Benfica 2-0 away.

Therefore I expected Inter to focus on the Monza game completely and win it to finish this winless streak for many weeks. Winning this game was going to carry them ahead of Milan and maybe even Roma depending on the result of the Roma - Udinese game.

The point difference is only three now between Arsenal and Manchester City. But I fully trust Arsenal about winning their missing game tomorrow.

West Ham are having a really bad season as you have seen so far. They are totally different than the previous season. Therefore it will be very difficult for them to resist a team that are running to the championship. I don't think it matters much whether they play home or away. Arsenal were nearly beating Liverpool away so they can do this against West Ham this time. They just need to be careful with their defending more now.

Galatasaray were very impressive on this week. I was expecting them to play effectively but this was much more than my expectations. They really demolished Kayserispor with a great performance. Their stars are making an incredible contribution to the team this season. Even Zaniolo started to do a great work despite joining the team new. This must be feeling great for them.

It will be really hard to stop this Galatasaray from reaching the league title at the end. But Fenerbahce are still doing their best now.

After drawing with Marseille this time Lorient's opponent is going to be Monaco. This is another tough game for them and it is going to be an away game as well.

Their previous head-to-head ended up with a 2-2 draw. Lorient were nearly beating them by 2-1 actually. Monaco must have learned their lesson from that game and they must be well-prepared. Monaco are still a part of the race for the Champions League. Therefore they had better win against Lorient this time. Otherwise Marseille seem likely to open the gap with them more by beating Troyes home. I think Monaco are powerful enough to do this.

AS continues to write like Chelsea are preparing a big move for Gavi this summer. However I don't want to believe this even a bit. Because Gavi has already extended his current contract and put an enormous release clause of 1 billion euros into it. There is no reason for Gavi to change his mind and sign for Chelsea all of a sudden. Before anything else Barcelona are much more successful now.

Besides Gavi is very eager to be a part of Barcelona for many more years. Even if Barcelona say okay for a price Gavi himself wouldn't like to leave the team anyway.
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 14, 2023, 11:28:39 PM
I expect no point loss from any of Dortmund and Bayern Munich this week. Bayern Munich lost to Manchester City newly maybe but I still expect them to focus on their next Bundesliga game anyway. Because they are in a really critical situation. If they lose points against Hoffenheim then Dortmund would be ready to take advantage of it right away.

Bayern Munich don't have a big chance left in the Champions League in the end so they had better not rotate the lineup much in their next game in the Bundesliga.
2595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 14, 2023, 10:54:08 PM
It was a very comfortable week for Lazio. They played a really dominant game against Spezia away and deserved that 3-0 win there. They have already been very impressive on the recent weeks. This was just another addition to their great series. These wins are really crucial for them to guarantee their place in top 4 while we are closing in on the end of the season.

Lazio couldn't make it to the Champions League the last time but it looks like they will make this happen this time thanks to their big effort. I would love to see them there as they deserve it. But they might need some increase in the squad quality to have a decent result in the Champions League then.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 14, 2023, 10:47:44 PM
Atletico Madrid are the most impressive team on the recent weeks thanks to their lasting winning streak. It looks like they can add another win to this streak by beating Almeria home this time. Almeria are among the teams fighting their way for not relegating. But here in this game they have a very low chance to get some points. Atletico Madrid are unstoppable now.

I don't think Almeria would be the team to stop them. Maybe they would try to take the second position from Real Madrid by continuing to win as many games as possible until the end of the season.

I thought that Benfica would be some challenge for Inter but they weren't so. I mean this 2-0 win by Inter should be enough to finish the job in Giuseppe Meazza.

I don't think Benfica can retaliate in the second leg while they can't even get a decent result in a home game. I thought they would be a more difficult opponent for Inter compared to Porto. Because Benfica have been experiencing a much better season than Porto so far. But instead Inter got a more advantageous win away already. Inter were even out-of-form in the Serie A but Benfica still couldn't benefit from the situation.

There is a Chelsea - Brighton game as well and I'm not thinking about positive things for Chelsea honestly. I feel like it can be one of the best times to try out Brighton's win here. The odds are also very close now despite Chelsea's being the favourite side. While Chelsea are having a terrible season in the league they are still lucky to be shown as the favourite side.

Brighton are in a much better condition than them now. Their recent form in the league is also way better. Besides Chelsea's morale should be downed more by Real Madrid after that game. I think Brighton win can be given a chance in this.

After losing the game against Lazio, Juventus can really make use of a win over Sassuolo this week. It is an away game but still winnable of course.

They already beat Sassuolo once by 3-0 in Turin. However there wasn't a one-sided game as well actually. This makes me think like whether Sassuolo would resist stronger this time. Juventus need to show a better performance than the one they did the previous week. They were really bad against Lazio. But they beat Sporting by 1-0 in the Europa League tonight. This should contribute to their motivation level positively as well. They can beat Sassuolo in this game.

There could be another chance for Marseille to get ahead of Lens again at least. Because if PSG win against Lens then Marseille can take the second position back from Lens by beating Troyes home. This isn't a very tough job to do for Marseille either. Maybe they aren't more consistent than Lens recently but they must be strong enough to beat a much weaker team in a home game at least.

They just need to be more accurate with their shots unlike their game against Lorient previously. That would be enough to be victorious.  Grin
