It was going to be a really comfortable game for Barcelona and it was really the case as well. Because Elche are in no position to make big difficulties for Barcelona in this season. They are just at the bottom of the standings and not even close to getting out of the relegation zone as well. They couldn't do anything in this game too as they didn't have any motivation to do so.

Barcelona just kept things under control and finished them off. They are just running to securing the league title now.

Chelsea are hoping for an opportunity to sign Victor Osimhen this summer but I don't think it will be more than a dream for them. Because they don't have anything decent they can offer the player to choose them over the other teams. They won't even be a part of the Champions League next season most probably. Why would Osimhen like to play for them anyway?

Even if Chelsea become the only team to make an offer he would still choose to stay I think. Because Napoli are in a much better situation than Chelsea now.

Maybe Freiburg can manage to open the gap with Leipzig more in the standings after this week's games finish.

Because I expect them to beat Hertha Berlin first of all. Meanwhile Leipzig's opponent is going to be Mainz. It is a home game for Leipzig though but I still don't expect a very comfortable game. Mainz can be a really dangerous team really. Maybe they can manage to steal a point from Leipzig again. However Leipzig are really amazing in home games so far. Therefore it doesn't seem like Mainz's job will be easy at all. I assume this would end up by Leipzig's win.

Real Madrid are going to have one of the easiest fixtures for them on this week. They should be able to beat Valladolid in Santiago Bernabeu without having serious problems. Bookmakers must be thinking the same as well because their odd for the win is very low. It isn't worth adding to a betslip actually. Instead it seems like it would be better to bet on a win by a big gap for them.

They don't have much chance left for the league title maybe but I still expect them to play solidly in this game. They should make up for the El Clasico loss.

I assume Roma would manage to put an end to this losing streak immediately. The game against Sampdoria is a big opportunity to do so honestly.

Roma are having a season that they can really join the Champions League. But they need to be a little more consistent to make this dream real. Mourinho had better make the right changes to finish this bad form. Maybe it is some kind of a psychological problem among the players. Whatever it is Mourinho needs to help them focus fully again. If they don't qualify for the Champions League again then Mourinho might leave the team in the summer maybe.

It wasn't an impressive level of performance by Marseille unfortunately. They were really bad at finding the target first of all. They had so many goal attempts but only two of them were on target. Montpellier managed to resist them well until the final whistle. I assume PSG would beat Lyon and consolidate their position more.

PSG aren't a very consistent team this season actually but Marseille are just making things easier for PSG to make it to the league title.

Feyenoord - Roma is a nice draw to follow in this round of the Europa League. These are teams that faced each other in the ECL finale last season. Roma's performance wasn't as good as I expected but they still managed to win the title. Maybe this time things can be a little more interesting. Feyenoord can try to do their best to eliminate them here this time.

They have been having a really good season actually so this isn't an impossible task for them. Roma had better stay solid at defending or Feyenoord can punish them. Feyenoord's performance in the previous round was also spectacular by the way.

It is going to be great to have a big opening game after this Euro 2024 qualifiers break. Manchester City are going to play another important game for the league title. They need to keep winning not to fall behind Arsenal in this title race. This is obviously a winnable game for them as well when we consider Liverpool's current situation. They haven't been too comfortable against Liverpool in home games recently though.

But this season is very different. We don't have the same Liverpool now so this is a big chance for Manchester City to go for a decent win.

Things aren't going on well for Turkey for now. They could have played much better against Croatia. In the first half they were good actually but this didn't reflect on the score. The second half wasn't much of an impressive one later on. Wales won their game in the meantime and now Turkey are at the third place. It looks like the games against Wales are going to be more important for Turkey to take the second place at least.

Maybe they can even think of a manager change while there is a long break until the next games in the qualifiers because Kuntz is criticized a lot now.

McTominay seems to be another target for Newcastle as it is said that Eddie Howe wants him the most now. However Newcastle should still focus on bringing some top players to the team as well.

Of course the only way to be able to do that is to finish the season in the English Premier League in top four. As long as they secure a Champions League ticket they should be good to go. Because big players always demand more than the others. Newcastle need to have something in their hands they can offer such players. They had better do their best in the remaining time of the season.

Real Madrid are an absolute favourite against Chelsea honestly. Chelsea aren't the same one as their previous version who had Tuchel. They are having a really problematic season in general. Their look in the Champions League might be be a little better but it is still not an enough level of performance to advance to later stages in the tournament.

Real Madrid are one of the teams that have a big probability of eliminating Chelsea now. While Chelsea are in this kind of a situation I think Real Madrid would do a similar thing to them which they did to Liverpool.

Technically there are still ten more weeks to go for the end of the season. The gap between Marseille and PSG isn't the kind of an impossible one mathematically. However I assume PSG wouldn't let us get more excited about the championship. I would really like to see a thrilling competition between them for the championship on the final weeks of the season.

But even if Marseille continue to win for a long time I assume PSG wouldn't make a huge mistake from now on. They are already out of the Champions League so they can't risk the Ligue 1 title as well.

Juventus are too highly favoured side against Verona this week and there is a reason for that of course. Because there is a really huge difference between these teams at the moment.

Juventus are fighting their way to top four in the remaining weeks of the season. They have done a pretty good job so far and they can continue their chase from now on as well. They have got very close to Atalanta now. But Verona are in a tough challenge about not relegating from the league. They are already in the relegation zone and this is an important game for them as well. However I don't expect a surprising result anyway. Juventus should be winning home.

Barcelona's fixture this week is a really comfortable one which is against Elche away. Because Elche are at the last position and they have been able to collect very few points as well. There is no way they are staying in the La Liga after his horrible performance until now. I don't think they have any motivation to win against Barcelona as well.

Barcelona have also secured their lead very much over Real Madrid though. But this doesn't mean that they wouldn't care about the remaining games too much. Until their title is official they would continue to fight hard for wins. I don't expect any surprises in this game as well.

Manchester United's job is going to be really difficult against Newcastle in that away game. After losing points for two weeks in the league they might be likely to have the same kind of a result here again.

Because Newcastle's recent form is better than them despite their being behind the Red Devils in the standings. I remember the game in Old Trafford as well that Manchester United failed in winning it. It won't be surprising to see Newcastle resisting them home as well. Technically Manchester United are a stronger team of course but let's see this will be enough for them to make difference in this game.

For the Bayern Munich - Dortmund game my first betting choices are both teams to score and more than 3.5 goals to be scored. Because I agree that we can see many goals in this game as usual. We have mostly seen the games between them ending in this way so far. They played in Signal Iduna Park the last time in the league and it ended up with a 2-2 draw as well.

This time I will be expecting a win for Bayern Munich. They have to win to take back the lead from Dortmund. As for a score prediction I expect it to end by 3-1 or 3-2.

Nagelsmann and Pochettino are still seeming like the biggest candidates for the manager job at Tottenham.

After Conte's leaving the team Tottenham are in search of a new manager. I was expecting such departure at the end of the season but they did it earlier. They had better act fast about finding the right manager because the season isn't over for them yet. They are still trying to finish the season in top four you know. They should make their choice very carefully. It feels like Pochettino will be their priority but let's see. Nagelsmann is also a good manager to give a chance.

I'm also thinking that Inter wouldn't be comfortable about beating Fiorentina this week. Because Fiorentina have been in a much better form than them already. The game is in Giuseppe Meazza still but it isn't that easy anyway in my opinion. I would like to remind you of another game against Juventus which Inter lost home. It wouldn't be surprising to see Fiorentina having a similar result as well.

But I still assume Inter wouldn't lose points in another big game again. I still expect a competitive game but Inter should make it to the victory after.

Atletico Madrid are quite the favourite against Betis with a 1.57 odd for the win. Actually there is only a six-point gap between them now in the standings but the gap between their odds is really big.

Atletico Madrid are of course stronger than them on paper. Their form has been spectacular for so many weeks as well. But Betis are one of the really challenging opponents for them. Atletico Madrid beat them away though but the final score was 2-1 which was a close one. Maybe this home game for Atletico Madrid wouldn't be easier and we can watch another close score. But I still expect them to win one way or another of course considering their performance these days.

Napoli shouldn't have big problems about moving Milan out of their way in this round. There is a big difference between them already. Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia should be able to make difference as always. After that I would expect Napoli to have a matchup against Inter. And they can get past Inter as well and make it to the final round later on.

Whatever team they face in that round I'm feeling confident that it would be a really competitive game. Because Napoli are also very strong this season. They would do their best to make a big surprise.
