3461  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $3000 By The End Of The Year on: May 08, 2017, 09:22:03 AM
this is mostly news about a bit adoption which is leading to price rise. not the adoption itself. speculation is mostly what is driving the price up if it is because of Japan. so i don't think $3000 is possible this soon.
however in long term, we will start seeing the real effect of this real adoption in Japan and consequently in other countries. and that will be the start of some real solid rise towards $5000.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying for a long term. on: May 07, 2017, 07:00:41 AM
there are two main problems with the question that you are asking in my opinion.

first is the fact that altcoins are not good for long term investment at all. they all go down in long term because with all things said and done there is no usefulness for most of them anyways.

secondly you are picking a terrible time for thinking about investing, and investing long term for that matter! right now we are in a big altcoin bubble and although many are still rising that doesn't change the fact that these are going to pop soon.
3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need electrum like wallet for etherium on: May 07, 2017, 06:54:09 AM
i don't think it is possible with Ethereum but i may be wrong about this. you want to consult electrum devs.

but here is how Electrum works.
it needs Electrum servers, these servers aren't normal nodes. they have to be indexed differently so that they can answer easily and fast to all the wallet users who request their balance and transaction history from their node. and that takes up a lot more space than a normal node. there are ways to reduce this and make it faster,... but i don't think it can work with the bloated ethereum blockchain. that will take a huge space and possibly will require a much stronger server to host the node on.

and it needs to have many servers running because how SPV works and how fraud is easier since the clients don't have the whole blockchain.
3464  Economy / Speculation / Re: sub 1000 gone forever on: May 07, 2017, 06:46:21 AM
Definitely think it will dip sub 1k again.  We are in a massive bubble.  It might take a while, but I see it going below 1k in the next three years.  Would be nice if it just kept climbing forever, but that isn't realistic, and BTC has had hard crashes in the past.  History loves to repeat itself, but it will hopefully once again bounce back stronger.

it is funny that when i check your post history i see when the altcoin you support rises up, you call it "strong technology and a good dev team!" but when bitcoin rises up it is a bubble.

price went up fast for sure, and it will definitely come down but coming down doesn't mean it is crashing, it doesn't mean it was a bubble. instead it means a price correction is happening. a very simple and common thing to happen in all the markets. and it definitely doesn't mean price will go down to $1000 or below just because it went up and now is correcting!
3465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 06, 2017, 06:20:00 AM
Monday ... well, what's the time in Tokyo ?

time to sell .. obviously
Never sell in the weekend.
NEVAAH
never sell at the top , not never sell in the weekend .. what's next? never sell when is the full moon?

No.
Never sell.

 Grin
Selling of bitcoin towards the weekend is not advise cause must exchange/market were planning to close for the weekend. But it will be better if you can hold till it November this year before making a quick sell. The price per btc is to reach $2100 this year as Saxo bank predicted, remember?

this market is a 24/7 market and also global, so it won't close down for the weekends. you must be thinking about a different market then!
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coin which can return back 2xInvestment in 1 Week on: May 06, 2017, 06:06:23 AM
oh boy, that is the million dollar question isn't it!

i have stellar and ripply in my possession, and they have been doing well, i don't see another 2x rise but they will surely rise.
litecoin obviously is on the rise and will reach nearly 2x rise in the next week that the SegWit activation happens.
i see a lot of people interested in Golem! which is weird but i have that under observation without investing in it.
i also have a feeling that PIVX is going to see some rally very soon. and it can be a big one this time. so it is to good to have that in mind too.
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The pump and pump and pump and pump of Ripple on: May 06, 2017, 05:59:17 AM
in early years, the altcoin market was smaller with less altcoins and smaller number of pumpers who had so little money but knew how to pump. then each time they pumped altcoins they got richer and richer. now every year that goes by i see the market grow bigger and with that the pumpers become bigger and more powerful. we can see the case this past months with them pumping all the altcoins.
i can't wait to see next wave of pumps and see how they put all these millions of dollars to use next time!
3468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin surges above $1,500 - CNBC POST on: May 06, 2017, 05:46:32 AM
I really feel that bitcoin will surge up to $2000 in the first half of this year. Those people that bought bitcoin when it dumped $900 are very lucky. They are filthy rich right now especially those whales.

I do not agree. The very lucky people are the altcoin investors. While Bitcoin is going up in fiat value, the altcoins are continuing to out perform Bitcoin and they keep going up in BTC value. By the end of this cycle, I believe there will be a few more millionaires made.

very good point. the rise in bitcoin is always small when you look at it percentage-wise because how big its market is and how big the demand for it with manipulation shrinking.
but the altcoin market because of being smaller and more manipulated, has been performing very well. and that is true about literary all the altcoins not just a handful of them. when looking at the prices of different altcoins during last 2 months you can see that every single one of them have been getting pumped and most of them got pumped hard to big percentages such as 100% to 300% and that is a lot of profit.
3469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex bitcoin withdrawal issues? on: May 06, 2017, 05:36:16 AM
always try to check the TXID in another block explorer. i have had the similar problem as you when the site (any service that has bitcoin withdrawal) says they have sent me bitcoins and give me a TX ID but that doesn't work in blockchain.info explorer. their node is known to not get transactions specially during the heavy spam attack like these days.
3470  Economy / Speculation / Re: sub 1000 gone forever on: May 05, 2017, 07:10:29 AM
forks, finex, alts any of these could

btc can go below 1K easily. now below 100$ ? no, unless an alt takes over which eth may at this rate.

I think we will see 100K before we see 100$ though

ETH taking over and sitting on the throne as the cryptocurrency king? You must be joking. If you said Litecoin I could find some reasons to agree with you. Ethereum is still very experimental and untested.

well ETH is 1/3 the way there now.....btc dominance has been dropping all the time....the trend seems to be that way....

IF btc got its dev act together then I would be inclined to say BTC all the way.

as someone who puts "crypto specialist" in his signature you should already know that price rising of an altcoin doesn't mean they are suddenly good and can take over bitcoin.
also again you should very well know that marketcap of an altcoin that has more than 90 million coins available (well being available to public is open for debate) will go stupidly high when its price is pumped.
and i have already explained how bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency and what its dominance really means
3471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 05, 2017, 06:48:16 AM
The larger marketcap and being more mature the asset, make it harder for bitcoin to have those kinds of swings.  It's impossible for Apple stock to 5x in a quarter at this point.  A penny stock can 5x overnight.

no not at all. there are at least a 100 altcoins with potentially bigger marketcap that are easy to go up and down.
have you even looked at the first page and what i have posted? apparently not.
marketcap doesn't show anything at all. it is just showing how much supply a cryptocurrency has and nothing more.

what makes those things you mentioned such as Apple stock, to have smaller swings is not their marketcap it is their volume and the demand they have. the orderbooks in another market which is big does not consist of orders as small as a $1000 dollar. and certainly in those markets one person or one group of people don't own 80% of the shares on the market. and definitely they can not manipulate the market as easy as an altcoin market. and you know manipulation and pump and dump is highly illegal in many countries.
3472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Miners or others stealing our bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 06:29:50 AM
You should drop your web-based wallet {PayZa} for a hardware wallet ...

Payza is not a web wallet in a sense that you think (not like coinbase for example) it is more like Paypal with option to buy bitcoin from them. or PerfectMoney for that matter. and it is mainly a fiat-web-wallet that you can send and receive fiat payments from.
3473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC reach 1 billion market cap before DASH on: May 05, 2017, 06:10:51 AM
Congratulation to all LTC lovers, if you are also DASH basher, then double congratulations.

if you are talking about the price then these terms you use "lover", "basher" are meaningless.
as far as price and making profit is concerned all the altcoins without any exception are good options. even those coins that people call "shitcoins" are profitable as long as they are being pumped. nobody cares about anything else even if they are scam, their wallet has a virus,... all the traders only see BTCBTCBTC and how much of it they can earn from that shitcoin.

but technical aspects and loving a coin or talking about how they are centralized or have a big premine or things like that don't concern price, it mainly concerns the long term lifespan of these coins and how high they can go. for example a highly manipulated coin which has the backing of multiple banks can go high a lot and keep the second place in coinmarketcap so it is profitable if you invest in them before they are pumped.
3474  Economy / Speculation / Re: WARNING INCOMING CORRECTION on: May 05, 2017, 05:59:11 AM
a tiny correction already happened and i think that is it for now. if the speculation about ETF being the reason for this rally is correct then there is more rise to come without going down or slowing down. and that will last up until the ETF day (i think it is in 10 days but still am not sure) and then the bigger correction happens possibly before that date so that to create a nice dip to buy back in case of acceptance.
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Etherium going up? on: May 05, 2017, 05:52:51 AM
one word: pump
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News!! ETH ETF Announcement Imminent. on: May 04, 2017, 09:21:58 AM
Herber2020 darling, let's take it step by step;

are we at darling now Smiley ok.
and i have to say my time is too valuable to want to repeat all the things that have already been said a million times. all the long things you said have already been answered. and not so long ago. go back and read those comments.

and all of your links to fake news have also been debunked. you can also go back and read the same replies that other hundred users gave to them. i certainly won't repeat it since it is useless.
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 04, 2017, 07:33:33 AM
A few days of trading volume can be faked,
if you are saying that LTC Entire Year of Trading Volume was Faked, the you also could say the same of BTC.

i don't know if you are really dump or think nobody has access to a chart! (i also made them blue for you)

and oh look what it is, it has happened before Cheesy

3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News!! ETH ETF Announcement Imminent. on: May 04, 2017, 07:13:12 AM
Please be aware that the ETH ETF is about to be announced. This is the last chance to board the ETH moonship.

oh my we've got a pump coming. thanks for the heads up. i'll keep an eye out. although i think the pump is already happened because of this fake ETF news for ETH recently!

but it is the most ridiculous thing though Smiley
SEC is denying bitcoin because it is not regulated and its price is volatile!
and bitcoin is
- the biggest cryptocurrency that has real adoption,
- is decentralized,
- a lot of real big businesses like Microsoft are accepting it as a payment,...

there is no way in hell they are going to accept ETH ETF
- a centralized coin with lots of manipulation,
- no adoption other than traders trading,
- a big ICO scam (you know these guys don't take this kind of behavior lightly),
- lots of forks,
- and lots of scam such as DAO scam
- and not to mention the huge volatility it has
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 04, 2017, 07:06:18 AM
You can also observe BTC Major Downward motion in CoinMarketcap Dominance.
of course bitcoin's (what you call) dominance is decreasing. when a shit coin like DigiCube (the screenshot above) can be number 3 or ethereum or other couple of hundred altcoins can easily create marketcap (which is a simple number) then share of bitcoin goes down.

Trying to Discredit LTC by trying to link it with some coins that were randomly pumped.
i am not discrediting LTC, litecoin is one of the solid coins and one of the old ones but that doesn't change the fact that it is being pumped because of its SegWit activation. and in the end it won't make it good in a way that you are thinking.

Here is your Problem,
BTC is secured by the Chinese Mining Pools,
LTC is also secured by the Chinese Mining Pools,
this is irrelevant.

BTC has a coinbase wallet , which makes it easier for merchants to use.
LTC will be gaining access to a coinbase wallet, which will increase merchant usage dramatically.
this is also irrelevant. coinbase is a web wallet account not a payment processor and they add altcoins that have high volume so that they can earn money from the fees they take from people buying them or trading them in either coinbase or Gdax.

Also if you went by trading volume LTC is already the #1 coin according to https://www.worldcoinindex.com/
, since they rank by trading volume and not marketcap.   Cheesy

None of your random coins have that going for them.  Wink
what you don't realize is that trading volume goes up when people are trading the coins, and people trade coins when they are getting pumped. go check the volume of February and you'll see.
then go check the volume of some shitcoins during their pumps and you'll understand.
3480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 04, 2017, 06:45:57 AM
as much as i like Litecoin and i have invested in it, i have to do this:
with your logic a lot of shitcoins are better than bitcoin. so lets take a look at some random coins:
Arcade Token (ARC): from $0.15 to $3.32 => 2113% who wants bitcoin and litecoin, lets get ARC.
oh look when you sort this table based on Change (24h) there are a lot of coins better than bitcoin!

and my all time favorite (and important lesson for all marketcap lovers):
DigiCube (CUBE):
on 2017-02-06 this altcoin was number 3 on coinmarketcap!
it went from less than 1 satoshi to about 14000 satoshi thanks to Yobit pump and that is 8,117,660% rise.

Topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1780445.0

so what do you say we just abandon bitcoin, litecoin and start using CUBE, huh?
