CoinHoarder,

Hey, I just checked your ownership spreadsheet and you have me down as 53.099 coins, but to my reckoning I only invested 50 BTC.  I think you added my payment of 3.1 twice  Huh

I'd be glad to take them, but rather get it fixed now.  It'd be a mess if this were exposed after mining.  Tongue

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have corrected this, however, that messes up our our ownership percentages. I need to go back through and see what else I messed up on, because now we are short 3.099 BTC.

Thanks,

Ch

I'll be around for the next few hours, so if anyone needs to be verified on the forum you can PM me with your email address as well and I'll add you to the verified group.

Thanks for your help relm!

I have verified the users that have PMed me already. I'm done for the night though, gonna have to leave setting up the forums until tomorrow.

3483  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Thinking of reselling Avalon batch 2 or 3 because BFL will "ship"? on: March 31, 2013, 03:39:27 AM
Don't. According to Yifu, it took Avalon 1.2 months to fix their ASIC when they encountered BFL's problem. Giving BFL a generous time valuation of 1.2 months x 3, we arrive at 3.6 months for them to patch all other issues with BFL. Expect the first shipment somewhere mid June, and at the hands of customers perhaps July.

Not sure if trolling, but this is good for Coinhoarder and the seven dwarfs (yeah we're already naming them.)  Grin

In all seriousness, if Yifu actually said this then I believe him.

ATTENTION INVESTORS:

Good news guys, we have forums now. http://yourcoins.org/forums/index.php

Go ahead and register if you'd like to. All investors must PM me here on BitcoinTalk the email address they are registering with at the forums to confirm their identity.

I will spend the next couple days on organizing the forums so information and communication is more organized in the future!
3485  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 02:58:03 AM

Regarding point 3; Too complicated, error prone, slow, etc. Isn't this the reason we're developing the bitcoin economy? This sort of thing can be completely automated (for the admin end) in bitcoin. For each transfer of share, the seller uses his private key to sign a text block with the buyers bitcoin address and email, handle, whatever. The block is easily authenticated against the sellers address and the database of shareholders updated. When CH wants to run a dividend transaction, he uses a script to format the shareholder table into a bitcoin transcation and calculates the dividends. It doesn't need to be flash. I could write the form/updater script in PHP but there's probably more capable PHP or perl developers here that could do a better job than me, and deliver quickly.

Sam.

Some members have PMed me wanting to sell shares as of a few days ago. This is only a temporary solution.

I like your idea, there are a few ways we can go about it. I'm not a great programmer I will let it be known. I was just going to write a simple script. If you want to make something fancy then I would compensate you in some way, especially if you can add automatic payments of dividends. I know a couple of people PMed me about ideas like this, that said they could program it for us too, but I have a million PMs and can't find the messages. Does anyone have any other ideas of controlling ownership/paying dividends?

Sorry this whole thing is kind of disorganized. I was really expecting to only raise enough to buy one Avalon at first, but people kept PMing me wanting to join in with us. Otherwise, I would have worked these problems out sooner and had a plan from the get-go. At least we have a month to figure it out.

Thanks Smiley
3486  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 02:42:35 AM
Alright cool. I'll get it setup now then, should take me a half hour, I'll PM you when it's up. Going to use Xenforo for the forum.

Thank you very much! You are doing us a huge favor!  Grin

I hereby give Relm9 .00099998 of my shares in this group buy paid out to 1Dpmtq6jJRk6WhiWycbVfQCXpbKijXTRem

And... let the trading begin (I like nice round numbers)!  Wink
3487  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 02:29:12 AM
This at most!!!

I really don't want CH to have to do any more work than he signed up for and want him rested to look after the farm....

We can negotiate between ourselves he should not have to do it, he never said he was opening an exchange, nor should he be put to the work of it.

It is alright... for now I am allowing it.

When we get closer to the time we should be receiving our Avalon's, I will reassess the situation then.
3488  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 02:13:16 AM
I've got a dedicated server at Softlayer that I could host it on. Any preference towards forum software?

I would appreciate this. I'm not going to be picky on forum software, it would just be nice to have a place to our own so I can make things more organized with stickeyied threads, etc.

Plus... this thread does not really belong in this subforum, I am suprised they haven't kicked us out of here already. Wink

Now that the initial fund raising and investor ownership percentages have been figured out, it is time to figure out a better solution than a million page thread in the wrong sub forum.  Wink

CoinHoarder and the Seven Dwarfs.

ROFL  Cheesy

I have updated the bottom of the OP to include all spreadsheets and also links to the latest updates. Any time I have an important update, I will post it at the bottom of the OP in case some do not want to wade through this long thread to pick out important information.
3490  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 01:46:46 AM
I agree we need a dedicated forum, this topic doesn't belong in the custom hardware section of bitcointalk.

Is anyone in the group willing to setup/host this for us?
3491  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 01:38:39 AM
Well, there seems to be enough opposition to going on a security exchange that I am willing to scrap that idea.

ATTENTION INVESTORS:

First, I have taken some mBTC off of my ownership interest to make our numbers and percentages add up to 100% ownership of the seven Avalons.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7b7omfd7hrbk9gs/Ownership%20Percentages%20%26%20Profit%20Projections.xls

Second, everyone owns a percentage of ALL Avalon's that the group has ordered. Splitting up interest to each 7 Avalon's and making 7 different payments each month would be an accounting nightmare for me. Although there may be some downside to this for the very first investors, as others have mentioned, there are also advantages to owning a percentage in all of the Avalon's. For instance, if I ever have any technical problems with one of the Avalon's, at least you are still making BTC with the other six.

Third, I am willing to commit to a temporary solution to allow the buying and selling of ownership interest at this time. I will allow you guys to transfer/sell/buy shares to whomever you want... people in the group or out of the group, either one. I don't feel like it is fair to say you MUST sell your shares to people already in the group... if someone is offering you 3x what someone in the group will, by all means.. sell your shares to the highest bidder. I have the right to suspend the selling and buying of ownership interests at any time, as this was never covered in the original investment offer, I am only trying to accommodate you guys.

Ya'll must take care of all negotiating and transactions yourselves. To avoid people blaming me for transaction errors, all sales of ownership interest MUST be posted as a reply in this thread. The post to inform the group that you have sold your shares should be similar to the following format: I sold 1 BTC of my interest to <insert name> who would like to receive his dividends at <insert bitcoin address>. The amount of shares you're selling must be in BTC.

Ownership transactions are non reversible, so make sure you get paid first. I highly recommend you change your password on the forums to something secure, and something that you don't use on any other sites. I will not be held responsible for your account getting hacked and someone selling your shares to themselves.

I hope this temporary solution is OK for most of you, thanks,

Ch
3492  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 30, 2013, 11:32:25 PM
Hi CH,

I'm not a big fan of this option [edit: mainly because it introduces a layer of counterparty risk (exchange trust/hack), which I consider is very low when dealing directly with you], but I must confess I haven't had the time to think it out. But if you really want to list this on an exchange, please list it on btct, not LTC Global. This is a BTC group buy for a product generating BTCs, and not LTC, so I think it has no place on ltc global, which would force a conversion everytime a dividend is paid, and I'm not even talking about the fees...

As Cryptojournal said, if you want to use an exchange, use BTCT. But I also would prefer receiving BTC directly from you.

I see that there are 100 investors that put on the table less than 10 BTC and 32 that put 10 BTC or more.
For those who want to sell there shares, they should be allowed only for a short period of time and only with those who already have shares. That way, you will have less investors and less transactions to do each month.

I agree, I dunno why I suggested LTCglobal first... I guess it was the first exchange that popped into my head.

BTCT would definitely be the best route to go IF we are to get listed on an exchange.
3493  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 30, 2013, 10:11:22 PM
Hi all, hope you're having a nice holiday weekend!

I am seriously entertaining the idea of adding our group as an asset on Litecoinglobal.com. This would solve several problems for me and the group immediately.

First of all, this would allow everyone in the group to buy and sell shares at any time without me having to do all the work. I can tell you guys right now, my fees are very small and soon difficulty will be very high. I do not want to spend all my free time transferring shares all the time for everyone for pennies. I need to have a life too.

Secondly, this would be a way for me to streamline dividend payments. This is one of the only remaining things to figure out before our Avalons come. I could write a shell script for bitcoind to do this, but then I will not be allowing the buying/selling of ahares because it would again, require too much upkeep for little incentive.

Honestly, I'm not too familiar with litecoinglobal or what kind of fees, etc. would be involved, but I know it is a possible solution to the problems we face ahead of us. I am interested in everyone's opinions on this and how we should proceed. Please speak up!

Thanks,

Ch

All my deposits are on the spreadsheet

Good Smiley

I've been working on ownership percentages of the Avalon's. I seem to be off by 0.000484296097%, I'm not sure whether this is transaction fees or my errors, but I will get it figured out soon. Everyone is encouraged to check my work. This will show you projected earnings with current difficulty up to 10x difficulty. Enjoy!  Grin

YAY out of posting purgatory =)

Glad to be a part of this awesome venture and another big thanks to CoinHoarder for putting all this together!!!

I'm unsure why it says it was sent from two addresses but CH if you can find them in your inbox on BTC-E our communication I sent the same transaction ID and address, I know you probably have about 10,000 though lol....but if you need anything else to confirm they are from me just lemme know!

ROCK ON!!

SS

Naw, you're good to go as long as no one objects to me assigning that deposit to you. If someone does, then we will work it out but I doubt we'll need to as I remember you deposited BTC.

I can't wait to get our Avalon's hashing!!  Smiley
3496  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 30, 2013, 04:18:38 AM
SilentSpring has claimed Transaction ID: f0ae6f84b9afccadde51e4fd7a937ce15be6b3d0afc1be0cd17dfc598824776c

He's in for 2 BTC unless I get any objections, I have already updated the spreadsheet.

That leaves only 2 remaining unclaimed transactions.

Thanks,

Ch

I wanted to bump these posts in the thread to make sure all investors see them.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157930.msg1698379#msg1698379
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157930.msg1698658#msg1698658

I am crediting the unclaimed 1 BTC transactions to thomashrev89 (1 BTC) and jargoman (3 BTC Total in 3 transactions) as I have received no objections.

There are still unclaimed deposits on the list, two of which the funds were sent from two addresses, so I'm not sure which address I should send back to. This is very important, please contact me.

The rest of the unclaimed deposits may remain anonymous if they like.. I'm not sure why they haven't contacted me yet. They only sent from one address, so I will just send their dividends there.
3498  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: More drama, ThiagoCMC finnaly caught lying and asking for removing information on: March 30, 2013, 01:23:17 AM
That's fine, but Thiago was using that thread to get his rightful ownership, and he should complete it before locking that. I opposed Rudrigo for trying to extort the Avalon machine, but now ball is in Thiago's court, and until he corrects it, he is now on the hot seat.

Ya... just letting him know that it was probably not a Mod that locked the thread and most likely Thiago himself.  Wink

First Who locked that thread?

Second, I need that document anyone copied? This is VERY important to me.

Thiago, you are a liar and you asking him to remove information on 506, cause thats where I caught you.

You are trying to make myself a fool over the eyes of brazilian users. Its already quoted there and that document proves it, along with the private message you sent Yifu.

Third, where are my coins?

Fourth, if you have them ready, where did you get them from?

I'm not getting in the middle of this, but any OP can lock any thread they started at any time by editing it and clicking a check box below it.
3500  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 29, 2013, 10:31:00 PM
I am also interested in buying shares from people of the group... With so many candidates (despite BFL announcing they will ship next week (lol)), I guess we won't ever need to let outsiders get in Smiley

Same thing, you can PM me or we can set up some kind of collective arrangement for attribution of the "abandoned" shares, as members of the group wish.

Yea... I'm not worried about BFL yet. All they said is that they MIGHT ship next week. You have to take everything BFL says with a grain of salt.

When they show pictures/videos of actual devices hashing then I will believe they are shipping soon... I'm not talking about some prototype they wired up like Frankenstein either, actual devices that they will ship to actual customers customers in their fancy wannabe Apple cases.
