3501  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: April 13, 2015, 05:55:20 PM
I dont see the rules regarding that, I have checked Dadice Term and agreement, there is nothing to describe a person having multiple account for the sites, so it is allowed to do that, and I expect alot of alt will be rolling in the sites in attempt to get the 50,000,000th roll.

It simply does not matter for the casino operator whether you win or somebody else. So they don't care about players using multiple accounts, It is just like another player for the House. There is NOT a single online casino which forbid multi account gambling. It is perfectly legit 'strategy'.

well not always, since some casino sites indeed mention that only 1 account per person in their tiny terms and Conditions agreement, so it is better to check up their Term and Conditions agreement before you open up another account since there will be a risk that the casino might withhold all your funds if you breach their terms

Such a check will be difficult to implement IMO, most of the casinos/sites even if they mention so or not in their terms, they only catch them if they exploit the site.
There are plenty of ways to do it without being detected. For instance, I kind of checked how it works in certain site that does not allow this and I was able to bypass all their detection measures. (I reported to their support after the check. They just said they can't do anything. There was contest going on at the time too). They might also check your Withdrawal bitcoin address, and most of the clever guys here, use a different one for every transaction.

So, even if this was made compulsory, many will still get away with it. I think we should trust the other users that they will play fairly and be an example for them too. Smiley

Not the link to your recent post, lol. Wink
I don't know how to make it clear.. If I put just recent posts, some will be putting their post counts..

Well, anyway, it is fixed.

Future participants please take a note of this.

FYI, I'm withdrawing from the campaign.  I've just been too busy lately to be very active on the forum and so I think I should allow someone else to have my spot if they want it.

I've removed the sig.

Thanks guys, 'preciate your work.

EDIT:  If, for any chance, dadice is interested in having me keep the sig (but with no minimum posts) then perhaps PM me or something.  I obviously wouldn't require a lot of money for this, however, I *do* have nearly 1000 posts on the board (a lot of them in very common threads) so there may be some value to dadice in having me leave my signature.  Just let me know if there's interest here.

There is actually no minimum posts for the campaign currently, although the instructions is that it is waived for quality poster, and if you were to post 1 post for the whole week you will still be pay as long as it is a quality post, as for now, the spot for the Sr. Member is decreasing, this might be a chance for another person to acquire your spot

I confirm.
Quality posts will be counted even if it is less than 20.

I haven't removed it yet. Please add the signature back in a few hours if you want to continue.

Thanks Smiley
i think he is looking for payment without having to post. Similar to how bitmixer used to work.

Well. If that is the case, then I won't be able to help..

Lot of cool entries Cheesy

@s1ng, I think for proper camparison, all submissions should be resized to the Avatar requirements. Smiley

is there any upcoming avatar campaign? i would like to wear avatar of dadice.

It is likely that we start the Avatar campaign soon. Smiley
It won't be compulsory or anything, btw.

Votes are now: 21 : 9 => 7:3

Yes   - 17 (56.7%)
No   - 9 (30%)
Don't care but will not block it   - 4 (13.3%)

There is a 30% of the voters against it and the rest are for or okay with it. So, we will go ahead Cheesy
3507  Economy / Services / [CONTEST] Da Dice Avatar Contest | Results announced!! on: April 13, 2015, 11:20:26 AM

The next Gen Dicing platform!

Avatar Design Contest

The best Avatar design(s) for Da Dice (that fits) will each receive a prize of 0.02BTC each. Smiley
Up to a maximum of 5 designs will be selected.. If the number of winners are less, the prize pool of 0.1BTC will be shared proportionally. Subject to a maximum of 0.05 per design.

Deadline for submission: 00:00 GMT, Saturday. April 18, 2015.
Just to avoid confusion, that is 1 minute after 23:59 GMT, Friday;)

Edit: Additional 0.03BTC x 1 reward for DaDice Avatar Add-on. Attachable to a square personal Avatar, preferably on the right, with approxmate dimensions of 40px width and 80px height. Smiley
(P.S. Keep the leftover space on the left blank while submitting). But you should also have the design without it.

Edit2: Avatars must be resized to fit to be considered as valid entries. Otherwise bigger images create the illusion of being better even though it may not be.. But you may also post a larger image of the same. Smiley

NEW: Additional 0.02BTC bounty for the best Avatar with text related to Da Dice and Altcoins. Da Dice accepts 25+ Altcoins currently, including LTC, DOGE, DASH, RDD, CLAM,...

Happy designing Cheesy

Ask people to design multiple ones and give a bounty for any you choose to use. I think if there's a selection of avatars to choose from it will be less annoying. The more the better.

Part of the plan. But require confirmation to start something like that. Smiley

Edit: Started a small contest. Let us see how it goes. Wink

I find WhatTheGox's avatar is super cool design.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=271958

Any future plan about dadice avatar campaign?   Grin

Sure. We might get it launched soon.

But the current issue is the Avatar. We want multiple ones

How about different color lines, like golden (on that one), red, blue, green, orange... ? lol Wink

Edit: lol. inverted it. http://i59.tinypic.com/2wme4pu.jpg

If the post was deleted in the first place re posting it is still a deletable offence. It's worse, cuz now it's spam as well. Your just going to get people in trouble here.

I think he meant simply quoting the PM you will receive when a post is deleted and post it here.

I dunno if that is okay or not tho. Smiley

Just a quick question that may have been asked already, but I haven't looked. The avatar campaign that Moneypot or Bustabit is having, does any rules apply to this? I see Bit-X is not allowing their sig campaigners to advertise their avatar for other services. Is Da-Dice the same or is this open for use without incident?

New rule coming up:

Wearing a competing Avatar may not be allowed. What is and what is not allowed will be dealt on a case-by-case basis.

It is not allowed especially when it contains the name of the competing site.

I honestly don't think it is good for the campaign for someone to wear a say PD logo on the Avatar, BitDice.me on the personal message and DaDice on the signature. That will be pretty weird..

Personal meesage is okay atm, since it not as intrusive as the avatar campaign. Personal avatars are encouraged.

Besides, avatar is more a personal thing than something to advertise for. I suggest against participating in a campaign that gives something like 0.005BTC a week, in which you may be making some 50 posts or so.   Smiley
You can also see it like this.

The rate of your Avatar is included in the pay per post rate.  Grin
But, we are letting you upload your own Avatar. Smiley

So, you can't participate in another Avatar campaign. Wink

Expecting your cooperation here..
Thank you Smiley

So what is the consequence if we participate in another avatar campaign?

Don't lol. Just that it is not recommended. Smiley

Besides the rate is not high enough to consider it that important. You can get the same by making just 4 posts. Smiley

The previous one is the official code. This one is just testing..

I see some issue with the code, since I can see only the first part of the code in your signature??

Some truly good designs, I may open a contest soon. Looks very nice graphic workers here on this forum. Good job everyone.
If you are confused about which entry to be chosen as winner, open a poll and let people vote for you Smiley , maybe this helps.

I would suggest against that.

It is like saying the designer with the most sock puppet accounts (and friends) will win.
3518  Economy / Services / Re: ➨➨ CryptoSplit.com Sig Campaign ➨ Full/Senior/Hero/Legendary ➨ Up to 0.10BTC/Week!! on: April 12, 2015, 08:38:01 PM
But, I think the escrow may wait 24 hours before doing anything with the funds. And where will the funds go? If there is something extra you can always tip something to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300631 Smiley
I will wait a day or so and then start to PM participants that they can remove their signature ife they so choose. The signature has only been up for a day or so, therefore it was likely not very effective/useful for them.

The funds belong to the OP so if there are any excess funds will need to be returned to the OP, otherwise I am scamming them. If they don't give me an address to return the funds to after some amount of time then I am not sure what I will do.

Shouldn't you seize them? I know that it would probably not be a good idea to police things yourself but if CryptoSplit did indeed scam, funds shouldn't be returned to the scammers.
Sieze them for what? I am not going to engage in asset forfeiture. Seizing bitcoin would set a precedent that it is not safe for scammers to use escrow which would give them a legit reason to refuse escrow which would make it easier for them to scam after they have been outed as a scammer.

Scammers won't/don't use escrows. That would not make them scammers (for the particular trade).

It is already not safe for scammers to use escrow.. Read my sentence above.

You wouldn't be setting any precedent.

+1 on that. Quickseller returning to OP will not make any difference oo what a scammer will do in the future. Smiley

I'd say donate the extra funds. Smiley

Like I said above that would create the president that scammer cannot use escrow which would only make it easier for them to scam once they have been outed.

What? If you are saying what I think you are saying, that doesn't seem logical.

Edit: Okay. You are assuming that they will already say they will end up as a scam? No, I don't think so. Scams like that, won't even call up an escrow..
