Barcelona might be after Kante now according to news. But I think this is no more than a rumour. Because he is still injured and I don't see any reason for Barcelona to go after him before seeing how he will be able to perform after recovering. Besides the transfer is expected to happen in January which is another not possible thing. Barcelona won't be able to sign any player in January as it seems.

Kante will be released by Chelsea most probably if he doesn't get any contract offer until next summer. He was a really important player for Chelsea before but now things are completely different. The injury has made things really bad for him.

Kane must be having a big disappointment for missing the second penalty but there is nothing to about it from now on. His general performance so far in the World Cup has been quite decent. He had problems on scoring goals in his first games but we saw him starting to score as usual again later on. He was nearly becoming the hero of the team against France as well.

He will surely be cared more at Tottenham from now on. He is already not a dispensable player at the team. A team aiming to sign him should be prepared to sacrifice an insane amount of money.

I think the fairytale is coming to an end for Morocco now. I must admit that they have done a wonderful work until this moment. They eliminated much bigger teams than themselves and surprised the world. But that must be it now. Because France are one of the numbered very experienced teams in the World Cup. I don't feel like their fully defensive game would work against them until the end.

I think France will score a goal before the first half ends and get ahead. Maybe it might not be a very early goal just as there was one against England. Because Morocco would play much more defensive than England in the end. But after breaking the deadlock Morocco's job will too difficult.

It is really disappointing for Ronaldo to see themselves out of the World Cup now. He was crying after the Morocco game ended. He would take his time first to pull himself together. After that he can start thinking about his future finally. It looks like he still hasn't signed for Al-Nassr. It was just rumours like he reached an agreement on an insane deal.

I hope Ronaldo's priority is still a European team which competes in the Champions League. I don't know if he can find just the team he is searching for. There is no team seeming serious about signing him for now. Maybe he will wait to see if there will be any later. If he doesn't find such team then it would be the best for him to just accept Al-Nassr's enormous deal.

There are already some rumours circulating such as Arsenal are planning to sign a striker in January. After Jesus has got injured news sources started to write this kind of things quickly. I know that Arteta will have a nice amount of transfer budget to spend in January. But I don't think it would be enough for signing a big striker. Because people were talking about a budget like 50 million pounds.

I don't trust Nketiah much honestly. He seems like a skilled player but his finishing is not good at all. Arsenal can find a better alternative to him in January if they want.
3546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 11:17:25 PM
It was a really unlucky night for England. They missed a penalty which could have revived their hopes about qualifying for the semi final round. Kane was really successful with the first penalty but somehow he missed the target by far on the second one. He must have lacked concentration a little. This cost them the World Cup but I don't want to put it like Kane was bad in this game in general.

This wasn't Mbappe's night maybe but I really appreciated France's performance anyway. They didn't rely on Mbappe mainly which helped them have a good team effort. Tchouameni's goal was really amazing by the way. The top speed of the shot must be around 109 km/h.  Grin
3547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 10, 2022, 11:11:14 PM
It is really difficult to say something confidently about the PSG - Bayern Munich game already now. Because there is still a long time period like two months for the first leg to be played. Bayern Munich are unlucky that Mane is injured and his availability for the first leg is doubtful now. Mane has already become a very important player for the team so his absence would affect them in attacking badly for sure.

Bayern Munich have improved their productiveness recently again. They are back in their usual form. But they need all of their important players to continue finding goals easier. PSG eliminated them in the Champions League not much time ago. They will try to use this psychology against them once again. But I expect another very competitive matchup.
3548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 05:23:50 PM
What a World Cup this is really! First Brazil and Spain have been eliminated and now Portugal are.

Morocco are really full of surprises. I wasn't waiting for Portugal to struggle this much honestly. Because they had a much different game plan than Spain. But Morocco managed to beat them in even 90 minutes somehow. Honestly Morocco wasted so many opportunities as well while Portugal were taking bigger risks. If those players were more skilled ones then the score would have been worse for Portugal. Portugal just had a big trouble in finding the target (3 out of 11 shots). Felix, Fernandes and Ronaldo found really big chances to score but they wasted all of them.

Ziyech has really been like a ghost at Chelsea so far. He hasn't been able to show a very impressive performance in general. But the World Cup was his chance to show his skills once again and attract the attention of some other teams as well. Chelsea were already seeming willing to sell him actually. They must be contented with his performance as a result.

Milan have been the most seriously interested team these days. I think it will be the best for Ziyech to continue his career with a different team from now on. He is already 29 now so he should make his decisions more wisely. Milan can really be a good choice for him I believe.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 10, 2022, 05:13:39 PM
The scenario is like always the same in the recent years. Bayern Munich take the lead and win an easy championship. Dortmund follow them right behind and Leipzig - Freiburg - Leverkusen trio share the positions right below. This season is a little more different of course. Some teams are not having a good season.

Leverkusen started the season really horrible. They are still far away from the top positions now. Xabi Alonso's arrival has started to change something by the recent weeks though. They won their last three games. But their road is really full of obstacles until reaching top 4. I have big doubts about their making it there.
3551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 10, 2022, 05:02:02 PM
A true nightmare for Eden Hazard when he joined Real Madrid. I don't blame Real Madrid for Eden Hazard's decline because Hazard did have problems, one of which was an injury that made his game significantly decrease and he couldn't compete with other players who were more promising than him.
He couldn't keep waiting for luck to be on his side and make him back as Caro Ancelloti's first choice.
I would say the same, he'd better find a new club that wants him and get back to his best. But if I have to return to the Premier League, it seems I'm doubtful because the competition there is very competitive and also I haven't heard of any Premier League club wanting to recruit him.

I wonder if Chelsea would like to see him in their squad once again after years. Hazard had his best times with Chelsea in the end. Maybe returning to his home would be a big motivation for him to perform much better than his times with Real Madrid. But we haven't seen such rumour circulating these days.

Chelsea have been focused on striker and defender transfers these days. His contract expires in two years but his cost wouldn't still be too much for Chelsea actually. But let's see how things go.

Arteta said that they were going to look for other options after Jesus' injury. The only other option they have is Nketiah in the team now actually. He is the only remaining natural striker. Actually even if he plays temporarily in the starting eleven it wouldn't be an enormous problem for the team success. Because they have already played many games without Jesus' great performance and they have been successful as well.

I guess Arteta isn't thinking of signing another striker in January. They can use the money more effectively actually. Besides I don't think they can find a very good striker with the budget they have in their hands.
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 09, 2022, 10:52:04 PM
Eddie Howe has a big responsibility in the other half of the season as well. They have gone beyond the expectations so far by reaching the third position in the standings. It is going to be really difficult for them to hold onto this position. Of course teams like Liverpool and Chelsea are having inconsistent times and this is helping Newcastle a lot on one hand.

However this half of the season could be much more different. I wait for Liverpool especially to pull themselves together. Newcastle need to keep their motivation level as high as possible. If they qualify for the Champions League it wouldn't be difficult for them to make big signings.

It was a really great night. I was expecting to see the Argentina - Netherlands game to be even more exciting than the Brazil - Croatia one. I got what I wanted in a great way. Netherlands' comeback was unbelievable first of all. Weghorst made a magical comeback by scoring two goals after entering the game. van Gaal made a great move by having him on the field.

Argentina started to be effective in extra time again. They wasted some big chances as well. Fernandez was like the worst player of the team as his shot hit the post and he missed a penalty as well. Messi was definitely the man of the match. I should admit that Martinez was also great about his saves in penalties.

Moukoko to Chelsea? I don't think such deal would happen for Chelsea. Because I wouldn't expect Chelsea to be the only team in this race. Maybe Bayern Munich would be interested in signing him in this case. Because they were already one of the rumoured teams with him. But I don't know if they would like to fill Lewandowski's place with him.

Moukoko is still a very young player. This would be just an investment into the future for them. But if Chelsea sign him I think they would plan to have him in the starting eleven. It depends on finalizing the Nkunku deal of course. In that case he would be Nkunku's substitute.

Alperen Sengun, the guy we talked about a bit time ago here had another game and it wasn't enough, I really thought that Rockets would beat the Spurs and Alperen had one of the best dunks of the season, he had a coast to coast run and then dunked on Collins and it was epic, they called an offensive foul on that, and we all know it was not, just look at every players reaction and every pundits reaction and you will see that it wasn't and there are a million examples when this wasn't called, so it was a bit about how they like to call everything a foul when it comes to Sengun.

He must be hated by the refs, it is really frustrating to see as a Rockets fan, they just hate the guy, he could have been a much bigger star if refs just give him leeway as much as they give to other players like Morant.

It is really not easy to see a basketball player from Turkey doing a great job in NBA. Cedi Osman was doing just fine about this but his recent performance doesn't seem impressive to me. But Alperen Sengun started to shine bright here. He has really impressive statistics for a center. He is a really athletic player at the same time.

He made a statement before like he was believing in Rockets to become a more successful team than this in the future. This is a really nice motivation maybe but Rockets need some big changes to make it happen.

After seeing Lukaku's performance in the World Cup I can say comfortably that he is not like in the old times anymore. He wasted so many opportunities in a game which was very crucial for Belgium. After recovering from a lasting injury he still seems far away from his usual effectiveness. Maybe I'm prejudiced now I don't know.

We will all see how he will perform with Inter jersey. He had great times there before as you know. He and Martinez made a great duo back then. But now there is a question mark about it. Lukaku might have problems on being a regular in the starting eleven if he doesn't improve his game.

I just can't take this result man. Croatia just parked the bus and somehow carried the game to the penalty shoot-outs. This is like the most boring kind of game strategy I have ever seen. Of course I know that they were the underdog and they needed to play more carefully. But I just don't believe they deserved to advance.

It is a huge disappointment for Brazil. They really tried their best from the beginning to the end. Neymar's goal was a result of a great organization and I was like "That's it!". But Croatia still scored the goal somehow. Brazil needed to be more aware in defense after getting ahead.

Harry Kane should have left much before than this time. Tottenham continued to leave the seasons behind without titles. Kane just wasted his time here so much in the meantime. He is called as one of the best strikers playing actively now. But it doesn't mean anything to him as long as there is no title achieved. If they have empty hands again then Kane would most probably leave at the end of the season.

He is 29 years old now. He can still sign for a more successful team. This time I don't think Levy can stop him.

Of course it isn't easy for Endrick to replace Benzema even if he is transferred when he is 18 years old. He is just going to be an investment for the future. Of course he would find chances in the lineup but he wouldn't be the first choice unless he shows an extraordinary performance regularly. He needs to be like Haaland for that I mean.

Most of us must be hearing about Endrick for the first time. But I trust Real Madrid's scouts anyway of course. Brazil already are full of this kind of talented young players. With the right scouting they can be discovered really easily. Real Madrid are one of the teams that like to find this kind of players.
