3561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Litecoin Inmediately. on: April 17, 2017, 06:43:36 AM
volume just went up the past few mins big time headups to everyone

as i said before, the short term (in minutes) volume is meaningless. and the volume when price moves (up or down) is also meaningless, that only shows people are selling or buying and that can already be seen on the candlestick charts as price not volume.

the volume that matters (you can speculate based on) is when price is not moving and the volume is still up.
for that take a look at daily or at least hourly charts (volume) if the price was with little to no change (like for the past week in litecoin) but volume is still up that means accumulation and leading to a rise.

otherwise it is way too obvious with price change volume rises. for example if i go on polo and dump something like 3x 10BTC worth of litecoin the volume is going to rise up to 200-300BTC while price panics to 0.0100BTC (example with a little exaggeration).
3562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When LTC Segwit will trigger? on: April 17, 2017, 06:36:36 AM
According to https://bitinfocharts.com/litecoin/ there were 568 blocks mined in the past 24hours.
So, in theory if ALL pool support segwit (which is impossible) it'd take 11 days.
But it depends on the no. of pools applying segwit through.

this is wrong (since you posted this yesterday).
to my knowledge the activation period for litecoin is 14 days, which is the period in which the difficulty adjusts itself, similar to bitcoin.
and within this period the hashrate supporting SegWit needs to stay above the threshold which is 75%.

now this threshold was crossed in the previous activation period and in the current one (1 more day remaining) the hashrate is above 80% so it should activate in the next day.
3563  Economy / Trading Discussion / who is doing this on bittrex (litecoin market) and why on: April 17, 2017, 06:15:33 AM
i get this method of trading (i don't know if it has a name in English), you spread the buy orders and then put the same orders as sell orders when they were filled and spread them with some %% of profit you want.

but what i don't get is why like this Smiley
you can see the steps this person chooses are as small as 1 satoshi! and the size is 0.004BTC and it used to be 0.005BTC i think he may have made mistakes or lost money even! maybe got scared and lowered the volume.

(i am talking about 4th order till the end of the list)

3565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum for ICO crowdsale. Why the change in choices? on: April 16, 2017, 06:30:10 AM
i am counting the days until the next DAO-like exploit happens in Ethereum and when Vital and his foundation lost a lot of money they will fork the platform once again and we can expect another altcoin being born from this. lets call it Ethereum legacy this time i like the sound of ETL.

and there were some good points in this topic that i agree on. this seems to be another tactic to increase the demand for ethereum. because people are forced to buy it.
3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 16, 2017, 06:24:47 AM
it depends on how the following couple of days shape out to be like. i believe SegWit is a sure thing and despite what many believe or show they believe, miners won't troll us in the last minute.
and because of this fear, price is still low and staying stable.

i say with 95% chance SegWit will be activated and price will rise up at least another 100% to 0.02BTC and if things go well it can even go much higher towards that $50 everyone expects.

with a 5% chance that SegWit doesn't activate, price will fall down and go on a spiral movement down with dead cat bounces.

in both cases be on the look out for profit making. buy the dips and sell the highs. specially in second scenario.

try not to listen to all the bullshit you hear around here no matter who is saying it, specially those who say something and then delete it. do your own damn research.

to OPs title; a little from column A a little from column B  Wink
tis cyclic; shorterm Moon longterm Doom.
I guess it depends on how you define longterm and shorterm
shorterm as in next 7 days I think doom
longterm as in 14 days from now moon if segwit holds but it is on a much narrower margin than was originally expected right now

words such as doom and moon are meaningless. this is the speculation board, either give us some numbers or a chart with lines pointing to a number and time-frame of that happening.

your doom means you are speculating in next 7 days price is going down to 0.004BTC!
3567  Economy / Speculation / effect of Japan on bitcoin price speculation on: April 16, 2017, 06:13:41 AM
I don't see any topics about this so here we go.

according to coinmarketcap.com when you sort the table based on volume, among the top 10 exchanges sorted by daily volume you can see 4 of them are BTC/JPY markets with a total of $36,444,090 volume currently for the past 24 hours.
although 3 of them have an * above them which can mean there is no fee (or some other thing) on these exchanges.

apart from high trade volume my main subject is the fact that Japan recently adopted bitcoin on a massive scale since it is now legal and a legit currency.

so what do we expect from all this in short or long term.
3568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have to pay 10% or 20% extra will you still be using bitcoin? on: April 16, 2017, 06:07:16 AM
this topic has nothing new or different from the other one apart from being self moderated!

the problem is not "nowadays" it is only during spam attacks where there is a lot of transactions inside the mempool. and yes we all know fees have gone up and we have to pay $0.4 per transactions now to get a high enough priority to get our transaction confirmed faster.

and there is nothing we can do about it apart from paying higher fees during spam attacks, paying less fees when they stop and support a solution you think is best by running a full node or direct your hashpower if you have any.
but making a new topic about the oldest discussion here doesn't make any difference.
3569  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 50% affiliation promotion SOON Biggest trafic on: April 16, 2017, 05:48:49 AM
Haha we finally got it, scheduled amazing days, from 20 april to 20 may. It's great because if someone was making daily 0.001btc, now he/she is able to get x5 profit.
Baryom, is there chanse that we if this promotion will be popular we get a chanse of more days of 50% affilate? You have great mind, always know how to create new and unique promotions Cheesy

What do you mean earning 5x? This is 50% affiliate, not 5x from your earning from affiliate. 50% of 0.001 must be 0.0005, so if usually earning 0.001 daily between that time, you will earn 0.0015 daily and this is quite good amount to earn though, but pity me, it is hard for me to bring anyone here

Happy 50% affiliate program for everyone and goodluck with it

before it was 10% of the house edge and during this promotional campaign it is 50% of the house edge which is 5 times more than before (50% / 10%)
which means if you should have made 0.001BTC with that 10% now you make 0.005BTC with the 50%

p.s. it is not 50% of 0.001BTC it is 50% of the house edge. which means if someone made a 100BTC wager you can make 0.5BTC as your reward. : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.msg18587747#msg18587747

when will withdraw issue resolved ? Huh  Huh  Huh
http://imgur.com/a/zJhEH
when i try to accelerate transaction it says http://imgur.com/a/DPgl0
iam fed up with you people now and can not wait hours for transaction ,i just made deposit which confirmed in 02 minutes .
Note:i included maximum fee option on your site .

Hey,

We are already working on it. Thanks for the report.

Cheers,

I have also made a withdrawal just now and since i saw this already here in the morning though i'll add my observation. from what i can see the problem comes from the unconfirmed parents, and it goes deep. i think somewhere along the line something snapped and the wallet didn't check for a confirmed output before spending it.

no worries though, as long as the accounts keep track of the withdrawals and whether they have been completed or now and also as long as the wallet doesn't double spend any of these transactions. Smiley

Hey guys,

Don't forget to keep an eye on the chat and on the games and rounds section if you want to join our daily games Smiley

p.s. your designer is awesome Cheesy
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some more good news about Litecoin. on: April 14, 2017, 06:16:08 AM
LTC developers already working with Lightning Network developers in anticipation of segwit passing.

https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/852618190655860737

thanks for the share, i just saw this and came to share this same thing here.
Charlie Lee has been really hard at work for the past few weeks, always ready and always watching. he even replies to the major tweets right away, right the one he did to bw.com and convinced them to activate SegWit.

the developers are also working on the integration of Litecoin with OpenBazzar platform.
3572  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 14, 2017, 05:56:28 AM
I really wonder this. I never clicked a signature ad and am wondering if it works for gambling sites. I need to be enlightened in this topic, because it looks like a waste of money to me.

advertising has never been done to generate traffic by users clicks. when you see a banner add in the highway while driving advertising for example a beverage you don't stop the car or change your direction to go buy that beverage.

signature campaigns is also the same, they are not here to get you to click on them. they are here for brand recognition.

it is pretty simple actually. let me give you an example.
there are currently a couple of mixers on bitcointalk 3 had signature campaigns and 1 stopped. if i ask people to introduce me to a bitcoin mixing service you know what they introduce me to? that is right to bitmixer.io because they have had a steady signature for 3 years (since 2014).

and since you are interested in clicks so much, here is the stats from my signature bitsler.com for the past week:
3573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX Price end of the month? on: April 14, 2017, 05:41:52 AM
PIVX needs to be accepted to exchanges with more volume to gain a higher market cap than it already has.

I think Poloniex will add it soon.

i am very surprised why they haven't added this coin already!
it is a good coin, with much better everything than most of the coins listed on poloniex, it is even said it i can compete with Dash and with PIVX not having the big Dash premine it gives this coin a big edge.
and on top of that the volume has been very big which is always the biggest criteria all the exchanges care about.
3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DASH Price Surges 17% as Kraken Adds It To Exchange on: April 14, 2017, 05:31:41 AM
this was a real great (mostly lucky) timing for Dash for their pump.
the addition is obviously a news which will most of the time lead to a pump even if it is a small pump. and then the lucky part for pumpers was the fact that bitcoin price went down a little yesterday and that always gives these pump coins which are being trading against both BTC and USD a big boost up in their price.

sad i missed it though Sad it was like free and fast money.
3575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 14, 2017, 05:24:33 AM
not really!
you can't tell anything at this point. this topic should have said take profit yesterday before the F2pool trolling tweet. and when price was above $1220.
now that price has come down it is too late to sell to take profit. it may go down but the chances aren't good enough to warrant a sell at this point.
3576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some more good news about Litecoin. on: April 13, 2017, 05:30:51 AM
and with the new turn of events it seems like we are over the Segwit activation threshold (75%) with a big difference. currently at 80.9% for last 24 hours blocks. keep this up for the next difficulty re-target period and SegWit is activated.

we have been partying for a while now. specially when price was 0.004BTC and went up to 0.011BTC. these are after-party hangovers before the next party of the next day starts Grin
3577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Set to Legalize Bitcoin by 2018, Track Every Transaction on: April 13, 2017, 05:24:08 AM
the funny thing about news from Russia and bitcoin is that it has always been weird and wrong for the most part! i remember this news which was flying around for a long time saying bitcoin is banned/illegal/or whatever in Russia and all sorts of negative thing about it.

and while this news was out, they were holding the biggest bitcoin gathering (symposium or whatever it is called in English) in their capital (Moscow). and it was a huge thing.

this is why i never put any faith i read from foreign news unless someone from that country comes an translates a proper news to English so we can understand.
3578  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂ 50% affiliation promotion SOON Biggest trafic on: April 13, 2017, 05:18:20 AM
Is there a DDoS attack or some problems with your servers? I went to your site and got the cloudflare site is not online error for a bit, and had to refresh a few times to get on. Once I was logged in, it was also kinda slow.

Seems like some people in chat are saying they have problems too.
Yeah, i have some went this just error a couple of minutes ago, but it's now fixed and it's now realible to bet with no worries, Anyways i'm now waiting for the 50% affiliate promotions 7days from now and still counting. Well i don't know how this promotions will work.

Goodlucl for your good work Bayrom

Edit: There' problem again bayrom

that's what happens when you become big. you find enemies too, specially when you get a lot of attention from players and your competition starts losing theirs Wink

anyways the affiliate promotions is awesome and it is more awesome that it lasts for a whole month!
i have been trying to get some affiliates ever since i heard the pre-announcement, but i have not been successful (i only have 1, and that is just my friend that i got long time ago and he doesn't even play that much lol).
anyways wish me luck on my journey of getting more affiliates Wink
3579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some more good news about Litecoin. on: April 12, 2017, 07:15:20 AM
BW.com made up their mind as we were expecting and they are signalling SegWit which has increased the support for SegWit on litecoin up to nearly 74% according to http://litecoinblockhalf.com/segwit.php

https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/852039230150688770

and it also seems to have caused another jump in litecoin price up to 0.0095BTC again.
3580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would investing into an altcoin pump it's value? on: April 12, 2017, 07:09:26 AM
Okay, so if I were to start a mailing list and get 500 people to put 10$ into a scamcoin and then dump it a week later that would work or is that a loss of money waiting to happen?

Did I just steal OP's idea?

that is how the pump groups work actually. the buy the coin cheap themselves first and then start telling their sheep followers to buy that coin (and it really doesn't matter which coin). then the sheeps start following the wolf and the wolf kicks them one by one into the valley of death as he dumps the coin he bought cheap on their head and they keep losing money.
