3561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 03, 2022, 09:05:15 PM
Liverpool and Chelsea getting a tie only worked out in favor of City. Chelsea with only 1 win and 4 draws in the last 5 games, Liverpool with 2 wins and 2 draws in the last 5 games, it is looking like another season for City to dominate the league once again just like last season. Unless they end up getting UCL this year, I am pretty sure even the fans won't be really too shocked or too happy about it.

I mean surely winning EPL is great but when you won it this many times in so short span, it becomes a bit of a dull affair, they are slowly building to be a team like PSG or Bayern where one team dominate the whole league. Surely they are getting more competition but it is still them winning year after year anyway. In any case, I feel like UCL is the next step, they have been working to get that for so many years now and this could be the season for it.
3562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 03, 2022, 08:12:36 PM
It was a decent game for the Lakers but even though they won, I think that there is still room for improvement. They have improved a lot after they had a terrible start to the season, but the chemistry needs to be more compact and fluid.

WB is giving away quite a few turnovers and he needs to work on it and Kebron is as always the goat of the team. Scoring, assisting, taking rebounds, in a word - doing everything everywhere on the court.  The game against the kings should be a win for the Lakers in my opinion. If WB and others can somewhat assist Lebron, they should not have a problem beating the Kings.
Lakers winning all these games didn't really matter that much. They are still 7th seed and tied with 8th seed as well, and only 2 games away from the 9th seed, by comparison they are 1 game away from 5th seed too so we have no idea what will happen. They did lose a lot of players, and some players provided basically nothing like Deandre Jordan expected to give some rebounding and defense but he is way too slow and lost way too much of his power and jumping.

Let's see what will happen but I feel like until AD comes back, they are not really great, and Westbrook needs to learn to not lose the ball. His super fast playstyle causes chaos and sometimes it means he scores easily and sometimes it means he loses the ball, he plays a high risk high reward style but they have enough good players to score, he doesn't need to do that anymore, he is not at OKC carrying the team anymore.
3563  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your opinion of the insurance industry? on: January 03, 2022, 06:58:06 PM
What could be truly disrupted in the insurance industry?
Would a DAO be the solution?
What is your view of the insurance industry )agents, brokers, various middlemen, insurance companies, reinsurance companies, regulators)?
Well, I know how much that most of us here likes things that has to do with decentralization, but everything cannot be decentralized. And one of those things I think will not work in this way is this insurance that you’re talking about. For a lot of reasons it is best that insurance companies stays as they are, and not really go into this decentralization stuff. And just like someone pointed out, if something should happen and you are not able to get your insurance money, then who do you point fingers at when it is a DAO platform? You wouldn’t have anyone to point fingers at since they are all anonymous. So I would say that this is not going to be changed at all.
3564  Economy / Economics / Re: This why wall street are rich and you are poor on: January 02, 2022, 09:56:52 PM
Poor man on the other side of the world that's been unfair too is still struggling on how to be financially stable and feed the family, foot bills and pay insurance for health and natural disasters. It's not even all poor that thomk about other options I outlined, majority are struggling to feed themselves, how do you convince them to invest when they have nothing to invest as capital. Cry
Oh well, to be honest, I'm neither rich nor poor, however, I was able to understand how financial works when I started to get a job so I just balance everything. Have some savings in the bank and then some investments in stocks and in crypto in the last 5 years, so I can't complain. I do not want to comment about the poor maybe it was really fate that put them in that position. As for our crypto investments, let it be, being a holder here is a choice and it's a good one. It might take years to see your money grow, but once it multiple then it will all be satisfying.
I am not rich nor poor as well and I have figured that out as well. So farm I have always focused on making my portfolio bigger but did not consider passive income too much, which is why wealthy people are doing most of the time as well. I have to say that there is a guarantee most rich people leverage themselves against the inflation and just do passive income that increases in asset value. The most known version that everyone can understand easily is buying a house and renting it, you are making a passive income from the rent but the value of the house goes up at the same time.

For 2022, my goal is to reach 100 dollars a month passive income, not a lot, very tiny for most people, but I will reinvest that anyway so let's see if I can do it. Understanding finances is not easy, but it is not difficult neither, as long as you have time to read and learn.

In the current cycle I had accumulated around 107 spins which I played today.

I was trying to pace myself to accumulate more spins and reach 250 but thought to do it on the occasio of new year to try out my luck.  Tongue
It seems today was Lottery Day for me. I got only Lottery tickets as the biggest win with total 5,000 tickets approx. At the second place is RP's followed by satoshi's winning.
Do not forget to update it according to the lottery results as well, let's see if you could win something there, if you do then this would suddenly look so different, if you get nothing which is totally possible of course, then it would mean they worth nothing. Otherwise you just got about 60 cents worth of satoshi, and around 60 cents worth of RP as well, if you keep starting up this many wof constantly you can reach the 100k rp where you can withdraw it as satoshi in no time.

It is a free thing so I am not looking for a lot of things to be fair, even if it was a lot less I would have understand it because it is free entertainment if nothing else. Some people may have some problems with it, want more, and so forth but I say that this is as good as it gets considering how we are not paying for any of this and freebitco.in doing it just because of marketing purposes and making us happy and stay here.
3566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is possible to make a profit by trading on: January 01, 2022, 05:12:36 PM
I have been trading for a long time. However, it is not always possible to benefit. In some cases there is a possibility of loss. After facing huge losses, I have benefited again after a long time.
It seems that you are missing some important information on what had help you to make sudden profits. I guess that you must include that so that it would be guiding many traders who are still struggling with continuous losses. Even after you have experienced profits from trading I guess there will be no need to doubt about the possibility of making profits from crypto trading any more in your case.

Profit and loss is part of the crypto market, every investor suffers loss in crypto trading so if you will trading by care then you can get the benefit
Yeah, there are lots of traders like OP who have made their experience upside down with the help of skills but people are still ignoring the importance of developing technical skills for making profits may not see such different experiences.
3567  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any change that protect crypto from fractional reserve style stuff? on: December 30, 2021, 09:53:10 PM
The only "power" you probably will have is the ability to track the movement of funds from the bank's address to which you sent your money, but it hardly can be considered a real power.
Yeah, completely meaningless. With centralized exchanges such as Coinbase, your deposit is swept to a central wallet, which is swept and split up several more times, and quickly becomes lost in a system deliberately designed to obfuscate things to any outsiders. No one outside of Coinbase actually knows how much bitcoin Coinbase are holding, and can only go on whatever Coinbase say. And even if Coinbase were completely open about their holdings, such knowledge is useless without knowledge of how much bitcoin they have attributed to all the various accounts, to compare the two and see if they are indeed operating fractional reserve. And again, the only people who can provide such information are the exchange themselves, and they are hardly going to be forthcoming with information which will incriminate themselves in such a way.
I have to say it doesn't make sense to run away from fiat and banks just to reach to crypto and use coinbase. They just get all of your money, make money from it, then give you what you owe without even having to pay you anything. At the very least, all those banks that we hate, has to give you some savings account interest rate in order to loan that back to someone else, so if they are getting 5% a year, you are getting 3% a year, and that 2% is their profit.

Comparing that to coinbase, they give you nothing, you hold your money there and in return you end up with absolutely nothing while they are making so much money with your crypto. Doesn't make sense, keeping it on your own wallet is the way to go for sure.
3568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: December 30, 2021, 05:28:18 PM
On the other hand, the famous economist and professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University, Steve Hanke, claims that while the price of bitcoin is close to $ 50,000, its value is zero. The head of the largest bank in the world agrees with him. According to JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon, bitcoin has no value.
Such these people are speculating about bitcoin for years still bitcoin managed to scale above $65k levels hence who is the winner here? Bitcoin's potential is already a time proven one. Hence, such haters do not need any attention from this community for sure.

I am confident about Warren Buffet as well is going to make a positive comments on bitcoin very soon; people who do not understand the modern evolution might be making negative comments and we really need to move on them rather than weighing about their comments as bitcoin is doing perfect for more than decade hence what is going to change which was not in last 11 years but all of sudden.
3569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really predict Bitcoin at this time on: December 30, 2021, 03:56:45 PM
I have listened and review to many market prediction, they are not correct.people are just saying there opinions at this time of the year about Bitcoin. Some will say it will come up another will say it not. So many discussion.
Who can decide the next phase of Bitcoin at this time.
If you refer speculations made on this section, then probably you got mistaken as these are all just people's opinion about future movement of bitcoin market based on various methodology which includes' individuals' market sentiment; you cannot ask for proof for one bitcoiner's FOMO or panic. They may share what they feel about the market; it means all the speculations made here are just having only 50% chances to remain accurate and the rest are just subject to change against the volatile nature of bitcoins.

Basically from here, we could expect bitcoin market to be getting into bullish as we are seeing support levels around $46k levels are firmly holding bitcoin markets hence we may start seeing more investors to be accumulating bitcoins for new ATH as targets.
3570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin to farm right now on: December 30, 2021, 02:40:21 PM
In the past couple of years back we are not familiar with the term cryptocurrency farming not until the development of defi projects that see to the introduction of yield farming and since then many investors have dived in just to make some good profits from this new invention.
But to choose the right coin to farm is another vital aspect of it, so am kind of thinking to go into farming but my concussion is in choosing the coin to farm at the moment that will guarantee speedy profits.
I am just seeing significant number of people started showing interest on investing into any type of passive income generation based coins. But unfortunately, no such long lasting opportunity have been available in this crypto space. There might be some good yielding cryptocurencies will arrive but over the time it will turn scam and the people who invested will be left with only coins but no values for the holding coins. This has been happened in the crypto space for more than hundred times still people like you never learned any lessons from others' experience.

It can be defi or anything with fancy terms but you cannot create value out of nothing; speculative assets will fail over the time because no investor could remain without profit booking.
3571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: December 30, 2021, 02:06:21 PM
This is a pretty big question that people in this space have to consider. I personally like to do a bit of both in the sense that I stake the relatively stable tokens, and tend to just hodl the more volatile ones.
No altcoins may remain relatively stable over the years hence you may end up in losses if you plan up for both holding and staking. Staking may sound like a better one than just holding but practically I am not seeing any big differences in terms of ROI.

For example, I have holding dogecoins for years and at some point I got frustrated due to no big profits and I was thinking like if dogecoin is a POS coins then for the time of I have been holding for years, then I might have got chances to double my stash; but until Elon Musk entered I was in loss with dogecoins.

So, just holding or staking, if your coin is picked by some billionaire then you may get chances to profit otherwise devs of those coins will become millionaire just by convincing you to invest into their shitcoins.
3572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Bull Market will Start on: December 30, 2021, 07:12:01 AM
Everybody can we expect Bull market in January 2022, Can bitcoin create his ATH in 2022.
Yeah, most people from bitcointalk are confident about having bulls in action in 2022 as well. Basically when more number of people are expecting such bull action then market definitely will obey to their speculation which has been proved true many times and I guess 2022 will be another exciting year for all long term bitcoin holders. To ensure that, we must make use of the currently available dips.

another reason is that people are just that greedy and they do not care about all of that growth we have experienced, they still want more profits
I will not call them greedy because this is how every markets' trader are working and moreover every business works hence we must anticipate for more and bitcoin market got enough potential to meet all our such speculations.
3573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Company on: December 30, 2021, 05:55:46 AM
I received an email from trading brokers that I can lunge my funds with them and they execute trades on my behalf but I am afraid of the legitimacy of such services because most of them always turn out to be scammers.
I know people who are doing like that personally but there will be no guarantee for profit making. I guess you may go allowing people to trade behalf you if you know that trading company personally like their physical location and their registered office etc kind of information are verified then you may start depending on them for making profits.

But, you must have a personal stop-loss level like if they lose some 10% of your total capital then you must ask them to stop and then you may start trading by yourself or convert your capital into long term bitcoin holding. Basically I will not go availing such a service to trade on behalf of myself on my hard earned money still it is a personal preferences based on one's hectic lifestyle.
3574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc price sideways not what the traders want on: December 29, 2021, 06:25:46 PM
Btc price sideways move not what traders want.
Trading should and must work only one way one direction.
Short or LONG
At the same time, if the market should start going low, you’re still going to be the one to complain that the market has been going low. You know for sure that the market would not go high all the time, and since we have already seen it go up and now the bull run is over, if the market should steady keep going down are you going to be happy about that the sideways (or stable) price that you’re seeing now signifies that the market is growing and the demand is matching with the supply at the moment. There will always be time the market would go up, and there will be times it will go down and times for it to calm down and be stable.
3575  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: December 29, 2021, 05:45:30 PM
Digital assets is indeed for holding but not everyone are in a fit position to hold even if they want to, I've been in this space for years now and I can say that you need to be prepared financially to hold coins and tokens successfully for a long period of time, you have to have job secured first, I mean enough to carry you on, then you will hold with ease
I second that, and that's the more reason why people are advised to only invest what they can afford to lose, and not put into crypto, or any investment whatsoever, the funds that they need to get things done in real life, such moves could prove too costly as such individual could have no choice but to sell their assets even when they have made no profits or even made loss. To be honest, personally I would not advise anyone to hodl anything, it is a personal decision, one that an individual must only make after he or she has assessed his financial situation and personal income, in as much as assets/investments can produce profits, it can also bring losses, as a result of that one must be cautious before investing or hodling too long.
Honestly I can totally understand that. I haven't been working as much as I used to, hence I am not making as much as I used to, but at the same time being able to say that I still paid off every single bill I had to and have a very tiny debt which I will easily pay by the end of the month (literally just 110 dollars, nothing at all) shows me how great crypto is. I have no financial burden even after the most financially brutal part of my life, and I still came out greatly.

So, yes it is hard to hold crypto sometimes, but at the end of the day what is the point of investing if you are not going to live decently when you face problems? If crypto is never sold, then you never made any profit at all, sometimes you need to sell and pay for some stuff, even if you do not sell all of your crypto, selling just a small portion and seeing those profits helping your life get easier and better helps people get motivated even more.
3576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy more so you can sell some on: December 29, 2021, 07:08:19 AM
You should stick and follow your strategy on investing. All the investors and traders know how high the risk is when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency. We have no idea when the coin will pump. Or how long it will take to see the profit.
Yeah, most of the times when I am trading I don’t really look at what other people has to say, I just have to do what is going to be right for me depending on my situation at that moment. We are not the same and our conditions are also not the same. So, some of the actions we have to take usually has to be because of the situations that we find ourselves in and whether we think that action is right for us to take it or not.

There are other factors of life that can affect our decisions. But it’s also good to have the principles that guides you in everything that you’re doing so that you can stay on track and not derail from it.
3577  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: December 28, 2021, 09:58:12 PM
Does anyone has the latest update on the health of Lightlord ? Whether lightlord will restart promoting his site on this platform again in 2022 will depend on his health.
Regarding marketing on another platform, i think the best platform to market gambling site is bitcointalk. Don't know if there is any other platform where gambling is being discussed so extensively?
For crypto, marketing could be done in multiple places in multiple ways and there is definitely much better places than Bitcointalk. For example, I wouldn't do marketing here as the first priority if I started a centralized exchange, twitter and google and some other places would be better. Put up ads on keywords like "coinbase" or "binance" on google and when people searched them on google they will see your exchange too, that's money well spent.

However if we are talking about casinos in crypto world, there is no doubt that it is by far best and there will never be a better place. Lightlord was doing it so well up until 2021, and since this new year I lost faith in him to be fair, no matter how long he has been an honest founder, the past year made all of his hard work go to waste since he ended up not paying people for such a long time.
3578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 28, 2021, 09:38:25 PM
I know about his fight with RJJ, but any of Mikes fights can be the last one. He can just say "it is enough for me" and completely retire. Or he can be envolved into a lethal accident. Everything can happen. So if I can, I would have visited this event not to see the fight, but to see him.

Anyway. I dont believe this is going to be an easy walk for Mike and he would not even got sweat in the fight against Logan Paul. I dont believe in "easy/destroy/injure/cripple/brutal knockout/etc" what people write here. I believe in hit and run and a draw in the end, at least in a split decision.
Grin
Every boxing fans believe Logan Paul taking on Mike Tyson is already just like him involved in a lethal accident but I believe a certain rule or contract will be set to prevent it from happening just like we see when fought Mayweather and it is clear that something is wrong with the fight because Floyd barely throws some punches.
Speaking of RJJ who's among those that feel the punches of Tyson lately. He predicted Jake Paul, his prediction was correct and he also said Logan Paul has Zero chance against Mike.
I still do not think that Logan would be "that" much disadvantaged. I mean surely Mike is one of the greatest boxers to ever lived, maybe the best, for me it is Ali but Mike is second. However, Mike is now 55 years old and that should be enough reason for him to be getting worse and worse. Logan on the other hand is 26 years old, that's peak physique for most men.

This is why I feel like there is a good case for Logan to not get wrecked. I know I will sound very crazy, but if Logan takes it seriously, trains properly just for this fight, get tactics specific to Mike, and gets a few lucky shots early on, there is a good chance he could even win this match. I know I sound very crazy, I know most people expect Mike to destroy Logan and that is probably what we will see, all I am saying is that Logan winning is not 0%, I would still give him a 10% chance.
3579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 28, 2021, 08:51:22 PM
PSG are chasing the champions trophy for the first time in the history of the club, facing Madrid is certainly like the final that is too early. Having a star player, should be able to give good results for PSG in the UCL, however, we also need to pay attention to Madrid's current position which can maintain the positive trend they have had since the start of the season. Both in the UCL and in La-Liga, madrid has the dominance in the match, this needs to be watched out for by PSG, based on this stats, my prediction is Madrid will be able to qualify for the next phase, even with a thin aggregate goal. of course, stats is nothing, who have better playing scheme, they will be the winner.
Madrid has always been a great tournament team, they won UCL nearly twice as more as the closest team. They have 13 cups so far whereas closest is Milan with 7, and third is 6 with Liverpool so more than twice of third team. Not all of them were won when they were the best team, sometimes not even on La Liga championship run, so it is easy to say that Madrid is definitely not the type of team that would give up too easily.

PSG has a very very tough matchup, not just looking at rosters, if we looked at rosters I would say the game was already over and PSG won, they have a much much better roster to be honest, but PSG is not playing at 100% whereas Real is always dangerous and ready to beat anyone they face even when they are not at their best. This is why it is going to be a bit of a difficulty and lets hope that we end up with something decent to watch at the very least.
3580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 28, 2021, 08:21:58 PM
If the Bulls will reach the playoffs, their biggest rivals will be the 76ers, Nets, and Bucks. Of the 3 teams I mentioned, I think the Bulls will struggle against the Bucks because they have enough roster who can stop the big 3 of the Bulls and they are the defending champion so they have proven to be a good team. With the Bulls success, I think they become the most hype team this season and I'm sure they will continue to impressed the NBA fans with their great perforamance in every game.
Everyone imagines that by the playoff time we will be much better in covid cases and we will not have this many players missing games. However, I am not entirely sure if that will be the case, I know there is a long time to go until playoffs but covid cases seems to be increasing more than ever, not killing as many but definitely still not allowed to play at the very least. This is why I am not entirely sure if playoffs will be exactly how we imagine it will be like.

Bucks, Nets, Bulls, Sixers all need to be careful about the covid cases so that the team with the least amount of players out, will be the team with the biggest advantage. If there is no more risk, then I am still expecting Bucks to be beating everyone else, they did it last year, and I can see them doing it again this year as well. Not going to be as easy, but definitely still possible.
