3561  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can you really earn from just watching adds? help I want to earn ..... on: April 15, 2021, 02:31:56 PM
I tried this in the past and it never worked for me. There are websites that offer you money for installing an ad bar on your pc. So whenever your pc is running you can watch the ads. The problem I faced is that either my watch time wasn't properly recorded, I watched way more ads than the website credited me and another problem is that minium requirements to withdraw kept going up. So even after 4 weeks of doing it I couldn't withdraw anything. Just a waste of time for me.
3562  Other / Off-topic / Re: World without divisions on: April 15, 2021, 06:50:01 AM
Can you imagine a world without RELIGION or RACE??
Do you think people would have more understanding with each other.

I believe that in a few hundred years the world won't be looking at countries, races or religion. Once we take the first step to living on the moon or Mars than  everything will change. All the hate and division going to disappear. Its just a matter of time until we humans look at the earth at once. The more technology advances they easier travelling will be, everybody will be more connected.
3563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 15, 2021, 06:44:01 AM
The btc fees will drain my sats value if I keep on playing in BTC and not win at all. I switched to doge/xlm as the fees are much lower and they are faster to transfer as well. BTC is just a gem today with its current price and i will HODL to whatever sats value i have left in my stash. I used to transfer with ETH too but the current network congestion makes the fees beyond reasonable at all.

The BTC fees are quite high, so if we only gamble with a few bucks, then using BTC seems wrong. But if we win big and can cash out a few thousand USD then I would still go for BTC. The bigger problem I have when gambling long term, is that the return on BTC is so high these days, that making similar returns with gambling seems impossible. It might be just better to hold the coins and keep gambling with FIAT money. When using USD or EUR as base currency than converting too often just doesn't makes sense. Doge might be a good alternative, but the price is also rising recently.
3564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 15, 2021, 06:37:28 AM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?

I agree that it all depends on the ETH gas fee, the price is very dependent. The only issue is that we don't know for certain if the gas fee is going to be lower in the future on remain on similar levels. If you are right and the gas fee will drop then ETH will be king again. It is hard to say if BSC is going to be new number 2 crypto coin right behind Bitcoins. If we own both coins we would profit no matter what.
3565  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can you invest in besides cryptocurrency? on: April 15, 2021, 06:30:16 AM
Hello crypto traders. Perhaps this is a bit offtopic, but are there those who trade not only cryptocurrency but also on the stock market too?

I would like to know your opinion on the SYTA stock.

This stock is at the bottom after a long fall and has just started to rise. They recently invested in expanding their business in the United States - Siyata's growing North American additional expansion to U.S. manufacturing, providing potential critical access to U.S. military and defense contracts.

Estimated U.S. military spending is $934 billion. It covers the period October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021. There is also government procurement as well as a growing global market for 5G solutions. Thus, Siyata Mobile  plans to operate in a market with a volume of more than a trillion dollars.

Does it make sense to buy?

I like to trade cryptos and stocks, both are pretty similar and you can use your tools for both markets. In my portfolio the biggest positions at the moment are stocks, commodities and cryptos. I am not an expert on telecommunications so I can't give you the right answer if you should be trading SYTA stock at the moment. But what I can see by looking at the chart is that the stock didn't really move this year, YTD and also 1 year price is roughly on the same level. The seem to have a lot of long term contracts. So if you can get the stock at a reasonable price I would buy some.
3566  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion in our society on: April 15, 2021, 06:19:54 AM
why can't religion reduce the rate of crimes in our society?
Religion: I believe religion is a practice that teaches ways of good conducts and we all tend to found ourselves in a religion. I'm so sure all religion talks about good that leads man to the right track, correction from evil, love for one another, peace. But we still come across killings and all sort of different crimes in our society. If the society should practice our individual religion which they tend to belong, i feel the world would be a better place for mankind

In my country religion is declining very fast, nobody is going to Church anymore. Kids these days don't even know the meaning behind the religious holidays. The only time when the church is in the newspaper it is because of some scandals. People just don't believe in God anymore. Which doesn't need to be a bad thing. If we look at the past we see that almost everybody was religious back in the day. It was very common to leave a lot of money to the church so you could go to heaven. But did this help to reduce crime rates? I don't think so, crime was pretty common in the past as it is today.
3567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 15, 2021, 06:14:45 AM
From the subject itself, I have been trading these days, and success can be only be counted on hand and it's just damn luck for myself when I succeed a few times.

I want to explain my strategy but it's just giving me anxiety all I know is wrong for it failed a few times.

please be nice to what I am going to ask

Do you have any Facebook page or in any kind of social media that has someone who gives you a warning when you trade or not? I have been in many Facebook groups but its not what I am looking for.

Thanks for the nice response.

It is hard to help you if we don't know which strategy you are following. Are you looking for support groups that stop you from trading? I am not sure how a facebook group should know when and when not you are trading. For me it sounds a bit like you are over trading. This is a big beginner mistake, you tend to buy and sell too many times. In the end you just have a lot of trading fees that will eat up all your profits. Try to build a good portfolio and just keep it for a few weeks and only trade when it is really necessary.
3568  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase has started trading in NASDAQ minutes ago on: April 15, 2021, 06:09:41 AM
Be careful with investing in coinbase though, I am sure that it is an expensive one but the problem is if they give away a dividend or not because if not then probably you can invest less or more if you want because they are going to grow fast since they don't give dividends.

The price already jumped more than 30% in trading and is still strong above 300$. I kind of expected the price to drop directly after the IPO, but it looks like there is still plenty of demand. I am also going to be careful with trading the stock. In my opinion is the stock price be closely related to the crypto market - when crypto coins are strong then the stock price will be high, and  if we see a bust in the coin market than also the stock price will be lower. It might be easier to directly invest in coins and make a higher profit.
3569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 14, 2021, 02:45:07 PM
Being addicted in a gambling is normal, but if you really exceeding the limit and you're spending to much money in it, like there's no tomorrow for you to gamble.. well that's not normal anymore .. And you should adjust as soon as possible.. because you're the one who responsible no matter what happen . And for sure time will come that it will lead you into some serious problem in the future.. better to fix what is necessary things to do while its not late.. And friendly reminder that gambling isn't a business like you can earn constantly from it,  because it's a game luck.. Just gamble what amount you can afford to lose..

I hope that getting addicted to gambling isn't the future for us all. There must be a future where we can use gambling responsibly and not lose it all. I agree that it is up to us to change our behaviour when we notice we gamble to much. Everybody can check for himself if he can manage a week without gambling and if he is just going to miss it or if it is getting hard to control ourself. I enjoyed gambling for many years now and believe that I could be without it. But since I am not losing large amounts there is no need to take a break.
3570  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: April 14, 2021, 02:37:28 PM
651 USD for a Bitcoin sounds pretty nice ar current levels buy why not go back a few years more. Imagine buying a coin for 1 Usd, you would have already made a nice profit of 651 times your initial investment. Unfortunately these backward analysis of potential investments are not good for us. With almost any stock we could find the best timing to buy and to sell. It's better to look for new opportunities for the future than feel bad about missed out trades.
3571  Other / Off-topic / Re: I wish they would lock down the pigeons on: April 14, 2021, 02:31:39 PM
I spent some of yesterday washing the van, and today I've got pigeon skidmarks down each side. Just to add insult to injury, a pair of them were copulating on the roof as well.

Sorry to hear buddy, I am very grateful to have a garage for my car. To be honest every large city in the world seems to have problems with pigeons. I remember it was especially bad in Paris. But somehow there is no real solution to deal with them. I never had a cat but aren't they chasing away pigeons?
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: April 14, 2021, 02:27:03 PM
I thought at least gambling lottery was legal in some indian states. If it is true gamblers don't need to go too far to try their luck somehow legally. Anyway, the idea of receiving the prize in bitcoin sounds a lot better than being rewarded in fiat. I think the few lucky ones deserve the jackpot prize without having it cut by the government due to bureaucracy and abusive taxes. It's already hard enough to win such prizes, so let the winners enjoy it!

I think I can comment on this issue, although I am not an Indian citizen. From what I have heard, lotteries have been granted an exception, since they are one of the largest sources of revenue for the government. But the structure is so lopsided. Only around 5% to 10% of the proceedings from the lottery sale is given back as prizes and the remainder goes to the government. And even on the winnings, tax (up to 50%) will be deducted. Therefore it is not surprising that a lot of Indians opt to gamble outside India.

This is quite insane to be honest, having only 5-10% of the money as prize pool is extremely low. This sounds almost like a rip off. In my opinion the minium payout from a lottery should be at least 40-50%. In my country lottery is fairly common but somehow the jackpot gets picked relatively often. On average there are only 5-10 million in the jackpot and never more than 80 million. Winning 1 billion sounds insane.

https://news.yahoo.com/denmark-permanently-discontinue-astrazeneca-vaccine-102122205.html

Quote
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark on Wednesday will become the first country to entirely cease administering AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine following its possible link to very rare cases of blood clots, several Danish media outlets reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.

The decision, which would remove the shot from Denmark's vaccination scheme, could delay the country's vaccine rollout by up to four weeks, based on previous statements by health bodies.

I wonder how that will affect the AZ shares in the stock market. It is up almost 1.5% today!

Denmark is pretty small country and as long as their is an shortage of vaccines I am sure other countries are going to pick up any excess doses. We still don't know for which part of the population the AstraZeneca vaccine is harmful, some say for older people, others say for younger woman who use the baby pill.

I also read that the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is experiencing similar problems. I wish there were more information comparing all the different vaccines to each other.
3574  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or cigarettes on: April 14, 2021, 02:06:49 PM
What kind of question is this? How do cigarettes have 16%? Who can genuinely say they are better, what?

If you smoke weed in the pure form you know there are no bad things added, while the industrialised cigarettes have a lot bad ingredients. I tried to stop with both during the pandemic. Unfortunately it's very hard to completely cut off cigarettes. Maybe this year I can finally move on.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: April 14, 2021, 02:03:26 PM
There isn’t anything on the space, nothing, except scam, have you given up or do you still cope and looking for airdrop?

Airdrop participated: 20
Airdrop received to this day: 0
Yes, you heard me, nothing at all, not even one airdrop, that’s how red pilled the space.

I got a pretty similar feeling last time I checked for airdrops. There are too many scams out there and the projects just sound to good to be true. I kind of have given up for now, it's just not worth the time at the moment.
3576  Economy / Economics / Re: I think Bitcoin is the biggest bubble and ponzi in the universe or it isn't? on: April 14, 2021, 01:59:50 PM
why I call it a ponzi     because late comers pay for the early adapters with their cost of bitcoin is almost nothing
in early days of bitcoin people just mine it for fun........

why I call it a bubble    have you ever seen any investment can start with almost nothing and went up all the way to over 60,000 dollar per coin  in a decade time?

even if you count it from $1 per coin  to over $60,000   that is over 6,000,000% return in investment

what do you think?

may be it is just my silly thought....

please comment.    thank you.
I don't think that bitcoins are a ponzi scheme. The bitcoin price has nowhere been near 1 USD or even 100 USD. Most of the people holding bitcoins at the moment have paid much more. For example I bought my coins when the price was around 10,000 USD. Sure the sellers made some money but now they feel bad for selling in the first place. A ponzi scheme is usually a few people who sell you something and promise higher returns in the future. No one is doing that with bitcoins.
3577  Other / Off-topic / Re: Social order on: April 13, 2021, 07:34:23 AM
When we say that human beings are social, we impute that they interact with one another. The interaction is in most cases patterned and institutionalised so as to regulate human behaviour. when through institutionalization certain behavioural patterns are maintained in a society overtime, one can conveniently analyse the structure of that society. Therefore, when we speak of the social order, we pass on the meaning that social relations are patterned in specific ways. The specific ways could be ideal, which refers to what ought to be, or behavioural which is the actualization of what ought to be.

I agree that society is playing a big role in human interactions. This is part of evolution and we are taught the ways to interact with others by our parents and grand parents. Humans learn by experiencing and seeing, just like animals do. As kids we try to mimic our family and friends. When we grow older there is more pressure from outside. So called celebrities are starting to play a bigger role.
3578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 13, 2021, 07:29:38 AM
Isn't that always? I mean, ngl, if we always won, we would never grow, which also means that whatever we're actually winning from or achieving from it, is basically the same as the rest of the achievements we got earlier on (or maybe even below it). The difference though is that the concept here in gambling is solely based on luck. You really have no control over it, even with a large enough amount of bankroll, you'd still lose as much as a regular person would.

Not to mention that since it's based on "luck" and not skill, it's easily influenced by factors such as emotions. The existence of ideas such as I can still win, I can still make a comeback is what makes gamblers lose their minds, losing more money in the process. If it was based on skill, then they'd honestly just give up instead of wasting more money tbh.

But with unlimited bankroll we can actually win if we follow a martingale strategy. I agree that there is a lot of luck involved in gambling, but also skill. The more experienced we are the better we adapt to our gambling outcomes. Managing emotions is key for success, which usually comes easier to us the longer we gamble. I still remember how devastated I felt during my first big blow ups. However now I know that the money can always be won again, its best to remain calm. As long as we don't lose borrowed money we will be fine.

3580  Economy / Economics / Re: The One World Currency: Is it Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2021, 07:08:45 AM
There won't be a "one world government" and therefore there won't be a "one world currency."  No government is going to surrender its fiscal sovereignty to any foreign currency

well where did the french franc the spanish peseta. german d-mark al disapear

.. i will say there will be multiple fiats around the world. but as for which fiat is deemed the international reserve or the counter balance of all fiats.. well thats got more to do with which country is regulating international trade more so than which currency is favourble

bitcoin wont become the fiat counterbalance of international fiats. as its not able to be controlled by the regulating country.

bitcoin is a alternative safe haven separate from fiat and should always be considered an alternative and not a replacement

dreams of bitcoin defeating governments are for the fantasy section

You are right that smaller countries with their own currency won't be able to sustain their economy in the future. They only chance they have is export commodities but even then the payments will likely be in a different currency. There will be a lot of pressure on the currencies. So we will likely see more currency unions in the future. The problem a world currency would have is who will be able to control it. If the control is done via population quota then Asia will likely dominate. Having bitcoins as the world currency would make it easier because no one has control then.
