363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 15, 2024, 01:12:52 PM

Better check his highlights if you are referring to Haney. Ryan here is not an undefeated anymore as he fall to the hands of Tank Davis, now, trying a much bigger and probably quicker boxer which.

@robelneo, I saw your thread was locked, so this should be the official one for discussion.

Yes aware of that I should have locked it and apologized to OP for not taking action, anyway its still two months but the excitement just started could be the fight of the year and the thrash talks of the year too, I just noticed it 2 against 1 on the trash talk war Ryan should bring along his father too so it will become a father against father and son against son  Cheesy.
And Ryan's bodyguards are better than Haney's too, the Haneys should fire their bodyguards and replace them with much bigger bodyguards, I will not be surprised if a brawl happens during a press con, no one wants to be subdued on the thrash talk
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 15, 2024, 11:12:35 AM
This is still unbelievable to me. I thought Ryan was only bluffing earlier. Is Kingry cashing out and then quitting boxing after getting embarrassed by Haney? I cannot imagine how Ryan can win this fight. Haney is not known as a knockout artist but I guess this will be the first time he scores a stoppage as a champion. Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins must be laughing at this. I believe this is the last fight of Ryan under GBP. And he won't be that marketable anymore if Haney stops him. Maybe Ryan will also make an excuse later to cancel this fight just like Fury. Grin

We can't really say, he quit boxing because of his mental health though. But if he lost to Tank take a knee and was not embarrassed, then I think it will not getting worst than that. He was knockout for the first time in his career and others says that he quit.
He has an alibi for that and that is the rehydration clause, and he's been making those excuses in all his interviews even in his coming fight against Haney his excuse is Gervonta beat him because he was handicapped, so if Haney beat him, he would have no excuse this time.
Garcia is confident that he can beat Haney because they already fought in their amateur days, which is very different now because Haney is miles ahead when it comes to skill.

Quote
So not sure if Haney will have that kind of performance against him. This is 140 lbs, no more weight drain for Ryan although I think Haney is still the bigger fighter in the fight as he can rehydrate to even 160 lbs. I think he can still make fights even if he losses this one . At least if you compare him to Tank who still doesn't want to fight the best and they wanted to protect his 0 at all cost.
Haney will fight in the weight that he is comfortable with, so he can utilize his speed and skill, Haney right now is the best fighter in the 140 since he is the undisputed champion and he fought some of the best fighters in that division, this is a legacy fight for fighters and there will be no excuse because there is no handicap clause in the contract, so the winner will take everything in this fight.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 14, 2024, 10:09:28 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?

I think the majority of religions forbid gambling because it takes you away your attention from religion, in our religion, we are forbidden to gamble too much because it represents addiction and love for money and we have a teaching that you cannot serve two masters either you will hate the one and serve the other and in gambling addiction you will lose all the virtue of being a good man, it will cause neglect on your duty to your family and on your work and your religion.

Although our religion is not very strict about gambling we are taught to be moderate and our obligation should be to our religion, family society, if you're addicted to gambling you will regret all of this.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 14, 2024, 08:22:44 PM

He said that he had nearly 64k dollars as a loss in the gambling site.In order to recover that 64k dollars,he keeps on betting from all his economic resources.I had advice him to use only 20 percentage of salary to get away from entire gambling loss. But he is now repeating the same 100 percentage of income from weekly, biweekly and monthly. So he was in the big loan problem.Still he is arranging funds from loan to play gambling, because he think that the recovery was possible at the place where he lost his money. What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.

This is the worst scenario anyone could get into in gambling, it's not only the amount he is chasing he loves gambling and the betting process the amount that he is chasing is just an alibi to gamble more, and if he recovers that amount he will continue to gamble and the next alibi is he wants to make more money for the future whatever advice you can give to your friends will just end up in deaf ears, because he is not listening to you anymore.

His family should be the one to talk to him and advise him to get rehabilitated, talk to the person he is more likely listen like parents, siblings, his children or wife an immediate intervention is crucial at this point of time, before he losses everything.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contributes to a casual gambler becoming an addicted gambler? on: February 13, 2024, 11:32:44 PM
I was wondering what makes someone transition from a casual gambler to a gambling addict. Here are five reasons I've identified.

  • To find an alternative full-time earning source
  • Chasing Losses
  • Lack of Alternative Income earning opportunities
  • Using Gambling as an Excuse for Personal/Profesional Problems
  • lDream of Winning Big
  • An excuse

All of these are correct and based on some of my research and my other posts, some gamblers just lose control all of the reasons are just excuses so they can continue to gamble or justify why they gamble, they are just hit by the dopamine effect and the sense of belonging and being alive, some people gamble for the sake of gambling whether they lose or they win.

I think this is one category that should be included, gambling for the sake of gambling, yes there are players like this and surprisingly they are the hardest ones to cure.

369  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 13, 2024, 09:26:29 PM

So the question is, should the forum introduce any rules on compelled/restricted posting, or do we let anything go, including shilling campaigns?

I don't think Theymos would do such a thing, a shilling campaign has been in existence ever since, and not only here in Bitcointalk you can find it even in restrictive forums, joining a campaign is a privilege, you are there because you are qualified based on the rules and requirements laid out by the campaign managers and the campaign was launched between the agreement of the campaign managers and project admins to brand the site and generate leads.
So it breaks that agreement if you are a participant of let's say casino and someone asks for a list of the best casinos and you leave out the casino you're  promoting in your signature.
It just breaks the agreement of branding and lead generation that the campaign managers and project admins agreed to, honestly, it's not easy for campaign managers to request the project to hire him he must lay out a plan that the project admin will agree that he is qualified to brand a project.

370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler lost what he couldn't afford to lost and broke his TV after game Lost on: February 13, 2024, 11:37:40 AM
Here in my hood, someone staked $1,000 to a bet with little odds and to all hope that there was no possibilities of him loosing the game but revise be the case that the game got cut off in just 3 minutes for the game over and then he could had cashed his winning.
It is quite unfortunate that he staked above what he could not afford to loose. So out of frustrations and anger he broke his TV on the process.

After his temper became calm, he ended up regretting to had lost his bet and went such a mile of destroying his TV.

He now makes two different lost counts at the caused of his inability to control his gambling emotions and his over confidence to had staked what he can't afford to loosed.

I've seen a lot of that in my social media feed like the recent Football Superbowl they are so passionate about the game, what triggers these people's anger is that the game is too close, they bet a lot of money because they are die-hard fans and out of frustration they bent on their TV set, but there were rumors that some of these outrages are staged to gain more views and followers.

These are bad examples of people putting everything on a team and when they lose they cannot keep up with their temptation, but on the other hand it is better to bend your anger to things than on people, because it will cause a lot of trouble for you and other people.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make use of what you disliked because you can't stay away from it. on: February 12, 2024, 11:11:18 PM
I opened a betting account today (don't have to mention) but when I bet on their virtual games, they don't have the kind of options I am expecting to see but only provides more like only 4 options which are home win, away win, draw and over. So I bet if I could win but luckily for me I won ×2 of what I deposited, then I withdrawed the funds and mailed them to block the account because I don't find anything suitable for my liken but they replied me saying they can't and I have to make use of the account until 90 days before they can block the account.
However, it's my money and they can't force me to use it, so they have to block the account. I see that the only way to stay away from the betting account is not to fund it again.
So can anyone force you to make use of what you don't dislike?

Their platform their rules so if you don't like their rules then go and move on and find one that you are comfortable playing with, you won, and you are able to withdraw it so there is no issue but only turning down your request.
I don't have a problem with moving on to the next casino when I don't like the rules they implement, the 90 days grace period will benefit them, because you have won you might entice them to get you back to play because a player who won in one casino will come back to try to make a repeat.
You only leave a casino when you lose a lot of money there or the casino has an issue with reputation.

372  Economy / Gambling / Re: I've Made Millions abusing Exploit in a Crypto Casino - AMA on: February 12, 2024, 09:29:16 PM
Let me guess - you want someone to offer you a certain amount of money so that you can show them your so called money printing scheme, right?

We have seen a lot of this type of thread pop out, so if you think you’ll come across anyone that would be greedy to the extent that they’ll message you to get your fake exploit then you better start rethinking.

This exploit worked back in 2014. It hasn't worked for over 10 years. I am not looking for anything from anyone, I've got plenty of coins. Just looking to stir up interesting conversations and answer some interesting questions.

So far you haven't dropped anything that will make us believe this is true, there's been so many questions now but no answer if you're someone that good at what you claimed then you should post screenshots, articles, or backstory that will prove how good you are, anyone can sign up here and claim that they've made millions doing something, for all, we know you're just a beggar living in a fantasy and using this forum as your platform in your fantasy and trying to build his reputation so cut the crap and drop all proofs that you've got.

374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 12, 2024, 04:07:14 PM
Finally, the 175 division will be fully unified soon. I voted for Bivol to win by decision. But only because Beterbiev is past his prime although still very capable of beating world-class fighters. Bivol has underrated power and he needs to get the respect of Beterbiev if he wants to survive.

There will be some factors that matter here like the size of the ring. Bivol prefers a bigger one so he can move well and utilize his skills while the 3-belt champion Beterbiev would love a smaller ring so it is easier for him to engage.

And the Saudi host already has someone in his mind for the winner of this fight, lineal cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia.

I based my prediction on how they performed in their last fight and so far Beterbiev has shown a better performance

Take a look at his recent fight against Callum Smith
Artur Beterbiev Crushes Callum Smith at Home | FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS

And Bivol's latest fight
FIGHT HIGHLIGHTS | Dmitry Bivol vs. Lyndon Arthur

Lyndon Arthur lasted 12 rounds against Bivol while Beterbiev punished and eventually knocked Callum Smith in the fourth round and Smith is way better than Arthur
so from this, Beterbiev looks better than Bivol but of course, style makes a fight we have to see this on the night of the fight.

Sadly 0.16428665 BTC sent now.

This is the email associated with the Bitcoin address, it's a very similar kind of email I received some four years ago, but I know its a lie and a scam attempt I'm not using a camera on my desktop and I never do the thing that he was accusing me of.

The address has a lot of reports, this type of email is called email spoofing and unfortuntely so many innocent fall into this without doing research this is how scammers are doing this thing.

Why Am I Getting Spam From My Own Email Address?

376  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 11, 2024, 09:28:57 PM
...  Granted a teleported account is a little bit different because this account authorized it, but I can see your point that a reputation here stays here and doesn't go with the name to other sites.  I'm just not sure how I feel about it.  I guess everyone should always be careful and if you think you're talking to someone from here, do yourself a favor and talk to them through here.

The teleported account on another forum is an extension of who you are and what you have done here in Bitcointalk, you are responsible for transmitting your reputation elsewhere as long as you verify it here, so bro if you have a teleported account there before doing a transaction there I will check and verify it here because it emanates here, so far based on my observation on Altcoinstalk all teleported members there are doing what they're doing it and that's why Altcoinstalk is doing good.

377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: February 11, 2024, 09:10:56 PM

But they also have a public/community chat though, with admins/moderators who are always checking it every hour, before they start giving away small amounts of altcoins. Perhaps they could help anyone, to either get chat support to accomodate users quickly, OR they could also check a user's situation/concern through email.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i don't think it is good idea to play on a casino that is hard to reach. active support is always advisable to sustain your players. if someone is having difficulty in reaching out the rep or any support, that would turn out as a disaster, especially if you need to get out your funds and you badly need it.

In general, it is one criterion the players should be looking for in any casino, whether the casino is old or new, their support should be consistent and dedicated and they should be fair, I remember there was a thread about what we're looking on a casino before playing and support rank high on the list, its the support's consistency and fairness is what gives the casino its reputation.
Players should always also check how support handles cases in case new complaints are coming so you'll get the idea if Casino changes its direction.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia April 20 WBC junior welterweight title on: February 10, 2024, 12:19:49 PM
I like to be different among the many here, and with that said, I choose from the poll "Ryan Garcia BY KO"... I am the only one who voted for that, I choose that because I believe that for Ryan Garcia to win, he needs to be aggressive and has to KO Haney. Despite not being an undefeated boxer anymore, I believe Ryan's power is enough to knock out Haney with the right strategy. We know that Haney moves a lot, therefore Ryan has to improve his quickness too in order to catch Haney moving, and with Ryan's long reach and has a good height, he could possibly achieve that.

So you're the one bro, well its good to have conflicting views kept looking at the poll and so far this is the outcome
Devin Haney BY UD   - 8 (80%)
Devin Haney by KO   - 1 (10%)
Ryan Garcia  BY UD   - 0 (0%)
Ryan Garcia BY KO   - 1 (10%)
Lock Voting
Edit Poll
Total Voters: 10

I voted Haney to win by the unanimous decision he has mastered the art of hit and run in the ring, one good example is the Kambosos and the Prograis fight he is too good at using the ring and turning his opponent's best weapon against them, Haney already had a clue on how Garcia will move in their coming fight and Ryan knows that he could end it with one of his best-left hook, its a strategy of who could it properly.

I still believe in Ryan's ability to knock out using his left hook but that left hook has been exposed so many times that his opponents know that he will and try to connect that left hook, which makes him a one-dimensional fighter.
Haney is a thinker and is very good at shifting from natural to southpaw so Ryan will have a hard time figuring out Haney.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia April 20 WBC junior welterweight title on: February 09, 2024, 03:07:15 PM
Haney and Garcia strike a deal for a tile for Haney's  WBC junior welterweight title

Finally, after years of waiting, they will clash inside the ring There were times that Haney dared Ryan to fight him but that was when Haney was just a challenger now that he holds all the titles Ryan should now prove that he can beat Haney, they both fought in their amateur fights.

This is going to be a candidate for a fight of the year as both fighters have a claim to greatness, it's a legacy fight for both of them

https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/39490552/sources-devin-haney-defend-title-vs-ryan-garcia-april-20

Quote
Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have struck a deal to fight April 20 in Las Vegas for Haney's junior welterweight championship, sources told ESPN.
Haney, ESPN's No. 6 pound-for-pound boxer, will step into the ring for his third consecutive pay-per-view fight -- his most high profile yet -- as he continues his star climb.

380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: February 09, 2024, 09:42:59 AM

I don't know but it seems that Teo is very emotional boxer and he just shows his emotion after that fight. Perhaps it was his mentality going to the fight or he thinks he was lucky enough to get the judges decision and he should knock Ortiz out and not go to the judges scorecard.

Ortiz went as high as 7:1 underdog here so very hard to see him winning and pull that upset.

So Lopez retain his belt and obviously should look for money fight next, Ryan Garcia could be a good fight for both of them as both are stars and so there will be big PPV numbers I reckon.
Lopez deserves the win if you're a challenger you should be the one to chase the champion and try to take away the title from the champion, unfortunately, Ortiz employed a safe path hoping that his hit-and-run tactic would work, but the judges favored Lopez who dare Ortiz to engage but all through the fight he just want to play cat and mouse, anyway if he will engage Lopez he knows he's going to get knocked out by Lopez.
Lopez needs to fight a good fighter in his next fight, not someone who just employs a hit-and-run tactic and Ryan could give him that, or SubrieL Matias who is a pressure fighter, that's the fight worth watching.
