Those merchants don't get any NLG. They recieve their price in Euro. Customer pays in NLG. Litebit then offers them again to buy. So it is the other way around! That's the way it is. Cryptos have low fees compared to Credit/debit cards. It's one of the reasons why mastercard is trying to put a stop to bitcoin. The thing is for cryptos to ever make a mainstream name for itself it has to have use. 99% of the alts is like, ok so I have these coins now what the fuck do I do with them? Oh yeah I can trade them on the pumps and pray I don't get caught on the dumps. There is no perfect system but hey at least when the NLG price goes down I can still go buy a subway sandwich and get depressed over it with a full stomach instead of holding onto a coin that has absolutely no value besides a trading one. EDIT: I do agree with you that the dev must keep a watch on the latest tech that can benefit the currency, but changing algos is just a fad, a short term fix for coins that have nothing going for them. I think so. Maybe the dutch bancing sector has hired someone to do this But what a stupid way to act like this.Can't go on for ever, then he is sold out  The coin has been range bound for a month at this level, something had to give and it ended up being the sellers being impatient. The buyers are standing on the sidelines, remember that 1 btc sell wall that got eaten up a week ago at about 153-154, the buyers waited until it was low enough before taking it out. There is a lot of btc and NLG that is waiting and ready to snipe out good deals. |

Guldencoin team I have an idea regarding your distribution.
You are currently giving away 100 NLG which caters for 1.5 million citizens, however lets be honest the Dutch population is around 17 million and how many of those people are under 16 and also elderly people that will probably never use the coin.
Have you thought about maybe increasing the reward to 500 or maybe a 1000, lets say you do 1000 then you can also market it as saying the first 150000 thousand people will get 1000 NLG each. The benefit here is that at least 1000 NLG has some value where people will make a effort to get it. Not that it is my business but maybe think about it and maybe the community has some other ideas
The only issue would be people who claimed 100 NLG already, how would they get the 900 remaining to them?
EDIT: Also this will get rid of the distribution funds a lot quicker.
There is a lot more then 1.5 million working class citizens in the Netherlands but I also think if the reward was increased to 1000 it would bring more interest in from the 150k Dutch people that are lucky enough to hear about it, if the price eventually goes to 1000 Satoshi then 100 is good but say 20 000 people claim to dump out into btc, that would be 20mil coins flooding the market. I recommend the team at least bring out more value for the coin like they doing before increasing the rewards that high. 250 or 500 would be safer at this point in time. |

No direction but that might have to do with the large sell order at 154 That 154 order is not the problem imho, the fact that there is no proper bottom worries me more. another issue is that there has been no media attention given to this coin. EFL was a scam and got loads of attention . This can also been seen as a positive. Maybe they waiting until they have lots more in place before they take it mainstream. Only time will answer that ? but NLG is off to awesome start |

im buying everything i can i heard it will be worth EURO or more! IS THAT TRUE ?  I would say give it a year or 2 and anything is possible, I mean these merchants that are being added aren't these online mickey mouse merchants other coins have. This is serious, hopefully more to come. |

Looks like swisscex is allowing botting for there votes, Cryptographic Coin is obviously botting it's way to the top so don't put any btc into those swisscex votes and just keep voting like normal.
