361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ICO on: August 24, 2017, 11:30:49 PM
i want to ask will it be better to invest in an ICO that already has a product or an ICO without product not yet finished ?

I advice you invest in project that is is just coming alive after studying there whithepaper in details.
Investing in an  ICO project, basically you consider  the project whitepaper and  the team of professionals coming together to implement the  project, this will greatly determine the  outcome of  the project. It will be to your advantage to  grow along with the project, you tends to  have a higher returns.
It really comes down to whether or not the project is worth investing in the ICO or not. Some coins that been released are still trading below their ICO price and they’ve had millions of dollars placed in their ICO yet it doesn’t seem like anyone is interested in investing in the coin once it was released for trading. People that trade coins usually are the ones that want to make money on the coin and it wouldn’t make any sense for them to purchase the coins with the goal of losing money in the end, that is something to think about the next time you make an investment.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long do you hold? on: August 24, 2017, 11:27:05 PM
How long do you hold your coins?
Some coins I have a couple of months like Sia.
Some years like Ripple
Ripple is something that I would hold onto for a long time because there’s people working in that project that will cause the development for that coin to improve over time. The guys that do the marketing for Ripple does a pretty good job as well. Personally, I think that they spend too much money on keynotes and conferences, they could spend that money on the price of the coin and pay more programmers so they could speed up the process of the project though that’s just me.
A lot of people on here don’t really like Ripple though, they have to prove that it’s an investment worth spending money on.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's in 2018 on: August 24, 2017, 11:23:51 PM
I think the ICO will be a very interesting part of the bitcoin market

Interesting yes, worth the investment? Not all the time.
Some of the ICO’s that get launched then have progress for a couple of weeks do well then though it seems like once people get the coins from the distribution the dev’s from those so called successful ICO’s disappear to somewhere for some reason. Maybe they are too busy working on something else, I don’t really get why they wouldn’t have time to promote ICO’s because they usually get a large number of coins from the ICO that they put out there.
Investing in ICO’s is really risky, even for the pro’s.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what alt coins worth the invest? on: August 24, 2017, 11:19:54 PM
I hold Xaurum, ETH, MAID, Golem, NEO and LBRY
I bet most on Xaurum as long term investment
You look like you have a pretty heavy stack going. I would hold onto those coins for a little while because the price of those coins could go up because they seem like they are worth the money compared to the other coins that are ranked in the top 50. I wouldn’t really hold the last two coins that you have because I don’t know anything about them, they seem like they are just there just so they could be lingering about when this whole Altcoin thing gets more popular.
If MAID gets a pump I am sure that it would be noteworthy.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 24, 2017, 11:17:16 PM
I have not sold mine from my electrum wallet. Some of my Bitcoin was on yobit so I got BCC I sold when it was 0.11 or something I should not have . There was at a point early people who sold at 0.50 Bitcoin. They made so many bitcoin that day.

I recently dumped it.  A hard fork incoming, who knows what that will do.  If it trends lower I may buy it back.  I wouldnt be suprised for it to go to 0.4, simply because I sold.  Life works like that after all.

That is what most of the people who sold it at close to half a bitcoon did. They replaced what they sold and made ridiculous profits.
I think that the people that had the most success with Bitcoin Cash would be the ones that sold the coins when the coin was just released on a couple of Bitcoin exchanges. People were posting things like their coins wasn’t showing up in their wallets or the time it requires for their transaction to get confirmed was very long though they might’ve been lying to get more coins sold then.
People might not be able to get their coins sold at the current rate if they tried because the time it requires for their transaction to get confirmed is really slow.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missed out on DeepOnion, looking for next big airdrop on: August 24, 2017, 11:14:13 PM
I found a few, they are requiring to already own large amount of BTC.  Something I'm trying to avoid since I don't have currently.
You’ve found a few? What were the coins that were giving free coins for having Bitcoins?

I know that Stellar was one of the coins that offered coins for the proof of the individual holding Bitcoins, all that the person had to do when they plan on getting the money from them was just to sign a message from the wallet that had the BTC within a certain time period. I prefer to participate in airdrops when they offer their coins to get sent out without having to download a wallet or having to do a social media task because it’s pretty easy doing it like that.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARAGON: The Ethereum based Startup from Spain on: August 24, 2017, 11:10:44 PM
I did some research on Aragon today and was amazed by it, here is my full report
https://cryptohydra.com/crypto-reports/aragon-ant/
I liked the article that you’ve written for Aragon, most people like to invest in things that have a value on it and not really know what the coin is about. The things that stands out the most in the article you wrote was the amount of source links that backed the information from your study.

The guys at Aragon is doing a lot for cryptocurrency and it could lead more people into investing in other coins once they’ve get their money from the coin. If people decide to stick with the coin after they’ve made their profit then that’s good too.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: July 14, 2017, 08:19:29 PM
ETH is not dead and I do not think it is going to die anytime soon, however I do think that bitcoin and litecoin are better than ETH, but as long as the market wants and buys Ethereum then Ethereum is going to keep existing whether we like it or not.
Yeah, Ethereum doesn’t look like it’s going to die anytime soon though the price of Ethereum is taking some damage from the people that been holding it for a very long time. With all these ICO’s that are being built by the people that make money from previous ICO’s using Ethereum, they are trying to dump what they have so they could get their money out as fast as they can. Fiat isn’t worth it.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOT Altcoins Trade Ideas on: July 14, 2017, 06:18:09 PM
Sir since you are more exposed in trading, It was great if you will share your strategies or ideas in that fiels. It can help other members and  me also who are not familiar or not so much good  in dealing with trading system. Btw. Sir thankyou in advance. Hoping to become a good trader here.
Yeah true. Learn to share your knowledge to everyone who are  needed or to those that who wants to learn trading. Sharing is good. And if you share you will dont know you will be more blessed because you share.
Do you have anything to share?
I am investing in certain Altcoins that didn’t receive a huge pump yet they have the potential to go up in price when the time is right. There’s only a few coins that have a huge price increase yet they look like they have a price increase from pumps.

I strongly feel that coins without huge green candles have the potential to get a price in the near future.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 14, 2017, 06:03:51 PM
It looks like all altcoins dump 10-20%. What is the reason?  Huh I am very sad  Sad

The reasons are varied. But what is most important to know is that you shouldn't be feeling sad at all. Dumping and pumping are two very elementary things that happen here in the world of crypto. There's fluctuation that happens no end. So, sit back and keep calm. After it falls, it rises. That's certain.  Wink
This is the biggest test / tragedy for traders, I see the cause is a hardfork problem in August. Everyone is worried about the impact. They make a panic selling all the bloody coins. Wait until this storm ends.
What if nothing really happens on those dates?

The price of Bitcoin could just be manipulated by the people who want to implement an advancement to Bitcoin because they want to purchase cheap coins from the people that sell their coins. I would hold the coins and just wait for the price increase because there’s no point in selling it right now if the money is only play money and fiat is pretty much worthless.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think and feel about Musicoin!? on: July 14, 2017, 06:01:25 PM
Hello guys,

Im currently mining some Musicoin , great comunity and i believe in this project.. But im very new in this cryptomining world.

I would like to ear some advice and opinion about Musicoin.

(Sorry for bad english)

best regards for u all Smiley
Not a thing that I would want to invest in because there is no usuage for it outside of the online exchanges. If people want to make money through music or they want to be on Bitcoin’s Blockchain then they could just use Bitcoin. There was a bunch of Music coins built already and the people that built those projects went on to building something else.

Use the right amount of money when investing into a project like that because you could lose every Bitcoin on it.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the start of the bubble popping? on: July 14, 2017, 05:19:55 PM
I don't think so.
I think it is a major correction what was needed.
Many people are coming in cryptocurrency market every day.
In my opinion we are still in bubble.
This bubble might keep getting larger. The holders that were in Bitcoin for years will eventually spend their Bitcoins if something new comes on the Currency game. If the Government makes a Currency that is just like Bitcoin then people would want to get in that early before the price of that goes up.

Bitcoin could be the only coin that might receive the pumps in the near future, who knows. It is unpredictable, we’ll have to see.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto currency will be more expensive than bitcoin? on: July 14, 2017, 02:26:32 AM
No such coin in the near future. But crypto currencies is quite unpredictable.
Bitcoin is unpredictable. From the people that were in Bitcoin long ago, there was a time when people thought that Bitcoin was going to be the only Digital Currency that was going to be against the regular Currencies of the world. Once people find that Bitcoin is going to have an enormous pump from the new people going into the coin the price will bring in even more people into Bitcoin so they could get somewhat rich.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SportsBetting with Altcoins on: July 14, 2017, 12:53:32 AM
Hello.I work for a non-US betting company and we're currently looking to expand into acceping cryptocurrencies for our international customers. This is a "prototype" type of project as we're interested how many people will bet with cryptocurrencies to know if it's worth investing into developing an automated solution.

We generally tend to have better odds on American leagues(NBA,MLB) that most other bookies.

If you're interested,drop me a DM.

Cheers,Marcus.

Betting using alt currencies will be really great, I mean, I think there are some that do accepts bitcoin. Are you putting a betting system about Dota2 or Lol? Many players and gamblers bet their money on that games especially this incoming tournament on Dota which is The International 2017.
If they features esports betting along with regular betting while using Altcoins then that project could be really successful depending on how fast the website loads. There’s Casino’s out there that have very slow websites and they don’t have that many people playing in that because of that fact.

I would look around to see just what you’re going to have to implement into your website because there’s places that already have what you’re offering.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARAGON: The Ethereum based Startup from Spain on: July 13, 2017, 11:18:08 PM
Just bought my first Aragon Coins (150) i hope it will be a successful project Smiley

If you wait for the successful project, you should hold until 2019.
But the project seems potential, it's worth to wait Smiley

I'm also long term HODLer. We'll see how it goes.
Yeah, this coin is one to have stored in a wallet for a long time. The people behind Aragon know what they’re doing, at least they look like they know what they’re doing. I’ve watched videos of some dev’s doing videos in their Bedroom talking about their new coin that they are trying to make or is in the progress of making and they don’t make it through the year. I am not so sure what’s wrong with them lol.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 13, 2017, 10:58:44 PM
is twitter campaign available right now...Huh
please let me know....

thank you..
The campaign manager usually posts an update in the main thread that has the coins bounty in it so participants could know what’s going on. You could also send the campaign manager a private message to see if they are accepting any new participants as well.
It would be better if you just send him the private message because people ask that question all the time and it gets annoying to reply to that same question when it pops up.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoins to buy? on: July 13, 2017, 10:54:38 PM
Buying any of these coins and keeping them is good but not the best.
TRADING is the best.
Just watch the market and follow news online.
It’s about holding the coin so there is an opportunity to sell them at an expensive price when it gets there. I was into Ethereum for a little bit, I eventually stopped purchasing that coin because there was a bunch of Altcoins using it for certain things that have no value.

If Litecoin was built today and it had an ICO that revolved around the Ethereum contract then the price of Litecoin would be really low.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 07, 2017, 09:54:44 PM
This project is great. It has good staffs and it balance the eSports and make it better to play.I'm sure it will be a success. Congratulations.
Hopefully many investors are interested to buy some tokens here, and gilgam in my opinion is something interesting to follow the development
It’s not too late. If people want to get coins then they could get it from the ICO without missing out on it. The only thing they would be missing out on is the additional amount of coins that is given in the ICO, I look at those additional amounts like a bonus since the people that put money into GGS during that time respected the project enough to get in it early. If the ICO doesn’t go well then they could just sell their coins when it gets on an exchange.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestions on my portfolio on: July 07, 2017, 08:51:38 PM
You have not understood the fundamental : buy the rumours, sell the news. You did the whole inverse it seems. What I would do would wait for a very big ICO, the one you are sure of its success like ZrCoin or EOS. Just buy and wait then.

If you do not like ICOs, buy Ethereum in a dip, and sell at 0,5% profit, repeat, again and again. Start keeping the profits in ETH, as this is for me a crypto-currency which has a great future !
Buying Ethereum during its dip is far better than putting money into an ICO that is not going to get launched till a few months later because the dev and his team could disappear with that money (or the Escrow could disappear with the money as well). Just because a ICO has a bunch of people wanting to see how it does it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be that successful, I would just purchase coins at a dip instead.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico team salaries on: July 07, 2017, 07:49:47 PM
I don't think their salaries high. But they have benefits of tokens. They could sell those, it's like a stock as big compainies.
People that are working with the coin don’t really sell their tokens from what I noticed. Maybe they get paid on the side in Bitcoin or something because the wallets that most workers have are usually posted to the public since people wonder if the coin will receive a dump from the dev’s. People might not be doing that now though the question from the OP is an interesting one since the coins don’t really move.
