381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 07, 2017, 06:38:40 PM
LGD is the only one I know of with a real world use right now.  Tied to a Vegas club.  Really interesting how they can sell it in the real world and guys can buy things in the club with it.
Are you investing in that coin or did you already invest in it? I am not going to put money into that coin because I don’t really like Strip Clubs that much so I wouldn’t want to spend money that I can’t use in the near future.
Did anyone actually use that coin inside of their Strip Club then received some kind of discount on their orders? If so then I would like to know what they purchased because that coin does seem kind of odd.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is litecoin one of the best investment on the market? on: July 07, 2017, 05:20:32 PM
Litecoin is really perspective crypto-currency. It was on the leading position among other alts for years and only this year Etherum jumped through it. I think LTC will continue to grow it's own temp, it's good investiotion today, but don't expect some huge and fast jumps like it was with ETH.
Litecoin is going to be worth something while Bitcoin goes up in value, the coin is a long term investment and the people that were holding Litecoin for years know that the price of Litecoin was kind of related to the price of Bitcoin. LTC does have the possibility of going down in value because it pumped recently though I am sure that the coin is going to be worth more than it is right now.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 07, 2017, 01:39:22 AM
scam or not, you can still make money with it and thats what most people are in here for.
It’s kind of hard to invest in ICO’s during 2017 since there’s scams almost every day in this forum. The right amount of researching and asking the right questions before investing into a coin should give the person a much more comfortable feeling when they decide to put their money in it.

It’s also funny to see an ICO get up to a million dollars in funding or more when people don’t know what the project is about.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: July 07, 2017, 12:31:08 AM
ARK JUST ARK
AFTER ARK HuhHuh?? ARK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2nd ---> ZENCASH
3rd ----> WETRUST
4 ------> ICONOMI
5-------> MINEREUM
6--------> COFOUND.IT , AFTER U CAN SELL TO ETHEREUM , ethereum could reaches 1k usd soon

hold until 2019 , U CAN BUY A LAMBO THANKS TO ME Wink
Cofound.it does not look like a coin that I would want to invest in. Then again most coins that are in that list don’t look like something that I would want to invest in because they are new coins that seem to have nothing to do other than pump or dump the price on people that purchase it.
Ark could be a nice investment though some people call it a scam because there isn’t that many people in it.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading 101. Question on: July 06, 2017, 11:28:44 PM
Yes in both Poloniex and Bittrex you can convert BTC to USDT and keep that in USDT and anytime you can buy btc again with that. I always do that when I see btc is going down I convert them in USDT and when I see btc come to a level from where it can go up I buy back BTC from USDT like this my BTC amount also increase and I get profit when BTC get to its old place again....
That’s neat. I don’t usually notice people using USDT to daytrade for Bitcoin since that coin is not promoted that much within Bitcointalk. This really shows how much people are missing out when they don’t research coins themselves because there’s a bunch of coins out there that is able to get exchanged for profit each day.
I will keep note of USDT and see if it’s worth purchasing while calculating the trend on Bitcoin someday.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is digital gold, what will be the digital "dollar"? on: July 06, 2017, 09:45:36 PM
It took many centuries for the fiat to replace the gold, can we give at Btc a few years?

Agree with this one, bitcoin need more time to become more famous and used in various sectors of economics, but confirmation time maybe the main problem if we compare to cash transaction which is instant.
There is no any cryptocurrency will ever replace dollar or state as "digital dollar", as dollar already has it own digital obviously. Fiat currency has designed perfectly, it has digital form issued by banks and third party platforms, people use it everyday through credit cards or something similar.
Bitcoin does not really need to be a Digital Dollar in order for it to go against the currencies that were built from the Government since there is a large quantity of people that are using it to purchase things already. The more that people use Bitcoin, the easier it gets for Bitcoin to go against regular currencies because it’s a very new product and the Government will want to begin playing with it as well.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico team salaries on: July 06, 2017, 08:44:41 PM
Hi guys!
I am curious about what is the average salary for each of the ICO team job positions. Maybe someone have some information about that.

Advisors, Developers, Community managers, Marketing managers?
It’s all about how the team does their project. If the main developer wanted to pay everyone monthly then he would set up some kind of payment schedule that will allow the workers to get paid weekly or monthly. Usually the people that run the ICO’s like to pay everything upfront so they divide the coins right when the ICO is over, if the person doing the project is smart he would know about the amount that will be distributed before the ICO is over.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 01, 2017, 06:53:24 AM
I like bitcoins simply because it is quite safe and the price can increase rapidly compared to cash.. It is also hard for the government to simply take bitcoin from you like they do in implimenting taxes
That’s what I like about Bitcoin as well since the people that use it is not fully under the whole Banking companies that are out there. Banks can do whatever they want if they felt like it once the money is in there they can take it away or have it their system without it gaining any interest.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: July 01, 2017, 06:49:13 AM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?
There are only few altcoins that will explode in the near future. And those are Litecoin, ethereum, waves, maid, bitpay, xem, Rlc,
ETC, but may take happen after 2 to 3 years I think.
Yep, those coins might have a large pump since they’ve been around for a very long time. Since more people are trying to get involved with Bitcoin and Altcoins they will notice that those large Altcoins actually have a team of people still actively developing their projects, that means a lot to them.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 01, 2017, 06:45:17 AM
Definitely true though bitcoin can affect economic issue. Poverty will just be ended if there is no currption and people has a will, otherwise no matter what help was given, nothing will happen.
Bitcoin won’t end Poverty. There’s a bunch of babies born each day, if there’s a million dollars for every baby born each day of the month then Bitcoin would have to make over $xxx, xxx, xxx+ per month. That does not include the people that are old and have no money within their bank accounts.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 01, 2017, 06:43:13 AM
I recommend dumping your bitcoins and investing in chocolate coins. It's the only sensible strategy for long term girth.
That might be a good solution to losing all the money that he has within his Bitcoin account. If he wanted to spend his Bitcoin on something then I would suggest purchasing some Chocolate coins as well.

People that don’t have any Bitcoin should at least try to have Bitcoin leftover before spending all of what they have.
392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: July 01, 2017, 06:41:12 AM
Yeah I think young people are capable of bitcoins due to their computer skills and internet knowledge. But young are still young, immature and undisciplined. Yes, I still believe that kids are the future but letting them hold wealth is not a good idea for this kind of generation. We see everyday what technology do to young people. I am not blaming technology because it is now a part of life. But their are few responsible young people today. I agree to the point that saving while young is good. But is this assuring that young people will save and help their parents and not just for their own luxury ?
I wouldn’t want them to invest in Bitcoin as well since they have a life that they could build for themselves. Bitcoin is only a payment platform that helps people spend money, if they work all the time at a young age and they didn’t experience the things going on around them they would be pretty sad.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: July 01, 2017, 06:38:44 AM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.
There is no secret for that since it's a matter of luck and patience to get that amounty. For some reasons, this should be attained by yourself since you are the one who will make it happen.
Just trying to do certain things for the people that need it would cause you to get more Bitcoin in your Bitcoin account. I would try to get some money through certain freelance work then ask to get paid via Bitcoin if that is possible then that would be a nice method to making a few coins.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: July 01, 2017, 06:37:09 AM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
Obviously yes since it can make connection between businessmen easier which can help them to build more relationship and business that can improve the economy of a country.
It could have a positive influence on the situations of the Economy since the people within various Countries need money in order to do certain things within their lives. If Bitcoin causes a bunch of Countries to get a bunch of money then that Country will be pretty good in a technical sense.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: July 01, 2017, 06:35:28 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin is going to die anytime soon personally because it's already spreading and spreading and we see a lot of companies (big ones) like Namecheap , Microsoft etc ... starting to accepting it as Payement method which is pretty good . for what comes to the price I'd say it will be around 600$ on the Next halving block reward which should me on the end of 2016 .

Completely agree.

Yes bitcoin would not going to die. As bitcoin nowadays is going strong, it spreading nationwide and globally because of its volatile price and tremendous performance. However, I beleived bitcoin will continously increasing the price as many people invested in bitcoin and it has been massive adoption these days.
It seems that the people will want to make a bunch of money with Bitcoin so they invest in it while thinking that the people that want to make money will cause the price of Bitcoin to go up once they get in. The odds of them making money with Bitcoin is high though the people who want to make money with Bitcoin should focus on making Bitcoin faster.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: What do these new people getting rich off crypto mean to the economy at large? on: July 01, 2017, 06:33:52 AM
No longer does the government have the ability to debase the currency that you hold in your hands. That's the beauty of BTC.
But is this sustainable? Won't governments inevitably find a way to govern crypto?
Well, if people within the Government find a method to make all the Internet servers and other electronic items to not work anymore then Bitcoin will survive through most of the disasters out there.
Bitcoin not being controlled by the Government is good, if Bitcoin was not built by the Government lol
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: June 23, 2017, 07:53:39 PM
In my opinion could be bitcoin is the currency for the future due to the very increase of bitcoin users then it could be bitcoin into virtual currency in the future
Bitcoin is causing the people that use standard payment companies like PayPal and other banking type systems to leave that company and use only Bitcoin for spending money online. With the large amounts of Altcoins out there right now, it would be easy to spend money without using a huge transaction fee.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 23, 2017, 07:51:24 PM
I like bitcoin!
Bitcoin will change the world's monetary system!
Bitcoin might change how people spend their money though I feel that Bitcoin won’t really go anywhere if the people in the IMF don’t recognize it as an important thing. Banks are looking into Blockchain and testing the technology though they aren’t investing money into Bitcoin, I am pretty sure they have a good reason why they are doing what they are doing.

That’s a big pizza.

Congratulations on the successful ICO, since you guys reached the minimum investment for the ICO do you guys have an idea how far the price of the coin will go up to?

Will we be able to trade this coin in an exchange or is this only available on the website?

The price of the coin will not be aubject to the team's decision. It will be freely traded in the market.
Ah okay, thanks. I was looking forward to seeing it in an exchange someday. This coin does look like it has the hype around it where it seems that the price of it will go up right after they post updates on for the coin. I will try to store the coins as long as I can.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: June 23, 2017, 07:46:18 PM
Hello,

I would advise you to get a hard wallet such as ledger nano S. The most secure way in my opinion to store your bitcoin safely. I have been using it for quite some time now, and it is working really well. The only thing maybe is that it is out of stock for the moment, so you will have to wait some time before it is shipped to you. hope it helped.

Cheers
I wouldn’t store a hundred Bitcoins on a hardware wallet because those things could fail. I would just try to store the coins on a computer that is usually offline and having a password on the wallet along with keeping it in an encrypted file so it would require much more time to try to get into in a worst case scenario.
