361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DROPS TO $5,600. HOLD OR SELL? on: November 19, 2018, 08:23:59 AM
I would say it is definitely a buy time if you believe the price won't go any lower but I won't be buying from this price, I am not selling neither but I won't be buying. I would suggest holding is the best option for now because there is literally no reason to sell at this low price, it will eventually go up, it may stay here for a while but it won't be at this price for years.

Hence, if you want to hold or sell depends on how much money you have and how long you can hang tight. If you need the money than you should sell and pay for whatever you needed in the first place, however if you can afford to not look at the price and just forget about the investment for a while I suggest you should do that, that way you can wait until it goes back up even if its 6 months to a year.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As of today, what for you is the easiest-to-use cryptocurrency? on: November 19, 2018, 07:22:40 AM
Still bitcoin because it is so common. The point of easiest to use is to have something to use on, that could be sending to someone else or that could be spending it to get something new and all that however no matter what you decide to do there is no point of how easy it is if you cant use it.

For example, nano is a coin that is incredibly fast, I mean literally instant type of fast but there is no one that takes nano as a payment option so it makes no sense to use it.

I like ethereum and metatask as well, it gives me option to just two click buy anything I want and a great chrome extension but I still find it a bit less common than bitcoin. It is catching up tough, it is coming there soon. Bitcoin on the other hand, even with all the slowness and time spending and what not, is BEST in my opinion, because we can use it almost everywhere and almost everyone accepts it. I love it.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of America will help large financial institutions to store cryptocurrency on: November 19, 2018, 02:56:27 AM
It is really funny when I get to see banks coming up with some of these annoying means of trying to still gain some form of control. I guess they are not getting the fact or they just simply do not want to face the reality they have lost that control already.

Even as a large company, why will I want to entrust my assets or the assets of my clients to a bank, when I can simply just store all the assets in a cold storage and have a direct access to my private key myself. It is absurd to see banks not actually getting the true picture here and what they seem to be coming up with does not make any sense at all.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc's next moves on: November 18, 2018, 06:50:20 PM
It is really weird right now, I really can't even fathom to think what could happen. We are at a stage where it is such a critical point of bitcoin price that it could go any direction and I am really scared about it. I want to keep all my investments in bitcoin and ethereum because I think it has a huge potential to go up like x3 of what it is right now, there is really a potential like that however I am also afraid that it can go 10%-20% lower than this and really hurt my portfolio as well so I am considering withdrawing as well.

I want to both drop the averages while the price is low and get out before anything worse happens at the same time. It is a weird spot to be in , when it was above 6 thousand for 4-5 months I honestly thought it was best time to buy bitcoin but here we are.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are down... by a lot on: November 18, 2018, 06:18:26 PM
If you already lose, then maybe you can still take some risk for some months maybe there is also some hope for the next year. If you can still wait for the market to recover then hold all your coins still. As long as you have still more patience, wait for it to reocver. We all ever know when but hopefully next year can be a good year for cryptocurrencies.
At this point, as long as you know you have been holding for a very long time now, I see no reason why you should even be considering out of panic to sell. Like you said, for those who have been holding, they should just be patient enough.

There is always a season for everything, a time for the bulls and a time for the bears, and if you do not get to be patient enough for it, and not get carried away by the little downtrend of the market, which I even see as an opportunity to be taking advantage of, then, in the long run, when the market bounces back into recovery, it will be a hard story to tell if you are not already in. That is why till date, a lot of people stupidly end up joining FOMO.
366  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014 vs 2018 on: November 18, 2018, 05:32:47 PM
The similarities have been talked for a long time and honestly there are too many similar stuff going on but I still think it is not as close to it as you think.

Yes, there was a huge drop in the price and all that but before the 2014 drop there was mt.gox which was basically the biggest exchange at the time almost like only good exchange and there was talk about how they were hacked and all that going around but as soon as it was finalized that no one would get their money back people started to realize all their money was gone and that made a huge drop in volume and interest towards bitcoin, these were the people who had hundreds of bitcoin because they got in really early and lost all their money, a total of 200 thousand bitcoins and more was lost during that time. Nothing even close to that happened this year.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: November 16, 2018, 07:18:21 AM
Bitcoin price is currently down and I think now should be the best time to buy.  Bitcoin at $6300  is the cheapest price we can get at the moment. Though many people have lose money this year I still believed that if we should buy now we would see profits in future.
Bitcoin investment is really good saving for future environment. But we should preplan our investment then searching for the precious one and finally pick the right time. This is the right time to buy all the cryptocurrency so who are all searching for crypto investment buy soon because next month we will see some positive vibe in crypto market.
Every year I always saw the price increase around November and December that I think can happen again this coming December but it looks like there are some bad news telling that there is no sign that the price can reach 10k again because they are referring to the past price movement (around 2013 and 2014) where the price is stable but slowly drop until December.
However, I feel that there is a big event will come that can push the price higher. Since bitcoin is too volatile it might happen that 10k value can reach again.
You are legendary bro, and you apparently have been here for a while, so you should know better that no one can use the past to predict the present or the future and possibly like you have said, we all know that there is absolutely no way we cannot deny the aspect of bitcoin volatility in any scenario at all.

It is something that we both know for real that one way or the other, even if it is not this year, the chance of more growth in the long run is still there and that is what counts anyway. We are not even in any way close to the level of mainstream adoption and we are still here, imagining what it would be like with mainstream adoption and real life usage.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 15, 2018, 06:35:26 PM
Jimmy butler with the 14 points. He had only 12 shots which is not little but definitely not a lot, no threes made, just 2 free throws. He was obviously testing the water, he was just checking out the team and how they are playing and what his role will be etc.

Embiid played well again almost cracking the triple double this game, Reddick was on fire and had 22 points which is more than what is asked from him. The only trouble was Simmons but I am not sure if it was a fluke game or was it the Butler trade and less ball handling. If this Butler trade will put a limit to Simmons' ball handling and playmaking that it is not a great idea for them, I hope they will get him the ball more often, he is a ball dominant player.

Lakers won again btw, they are 4-0 on their last 4 games and I know it sounds crazy but I think Chandler has a lot to do with it. Bigs just destroyed Lakers but now they have at least have a big body down there.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn trading? on: November 15, 2018, 02:44:25 PM
To learn trading is one thing and been dedicated to why you are learning is another thing. If you want to learn trading, you have to start teaching yourself the basic things from the Beginning. Watch YouTube videos of trading on different exchanges. Read articles from Google and be grounded before jumping into trading.
That dedication is actually something that is a very good attribute to imbibe when it comes to learning anything. I believe if you have the hunger and zeal to learn and do better at what you want to do, I am sure, the dedication to it will come naturally.

Still, you cannot learn it all in one day and due to the fact that a lot of people tend to rush so they can start making money, they always end up flopping because they did not get to find out all the things needed to know before hitting the charts. Trading is a very lovely activity to do with profit potentials if you know what you are doing, but if you approach it in a hasty way or you did not take your time to learn as much as you could, you will find out eventually how much you will end up learning the hard way in the long run.

The good thing about this world we are in right now is that resources can easily be found just with a click of your mouse and making use of the search engines. The only problem is that laziness of people to learn, the fact that they are always looking for easy way out, has always ended up putting a lot of them into a mess they never envisaged.
Basically for me, when it comes to learning, I believe all that is necessary is the zeal and the hunger and if those two things are not there, it is always going to be very hard to make a good decision when it comes to learning.

You know when you have been able to read through some things and then understand what trading entails, you will realize that the best thing is to settle down into the idea of learning as much as you can, practicing and then developing a strategy. However, if you just take it all with levity, the chances of ending up frustrated is always going to be huge, which is why I said that zeal and hunger to do things right is the major driving factor to learning.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: ADVANTAGES OF INVESTMENT USING BITCOIN on: November 15, 2018, 12:41:39 PM
Biggest one for me is the no need for KYC for people like me. There are people who use KYC and give their information to the exchanges because of the size of the investments they are making but for me I try to avoid that as much as I can.

I haven't shared any of my information with any exchange so far. It means I can actually earn my bitcoins as anon as possible and than use that to trade and invest into projects I want. Also it is as silly as it gets, for example for years people have been saying what makes Bitcoin worth anything, it has no value other than what people gives it but right now there are "cryptokitties" which literally has no value at all but it has been going up steadily for the past year.

Honestly, people have been crazy on investment with bitcoin and crypto and I love it considering we are the ones that gives it the value.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: China declared crypto airdrop illegal. on: November 15, 2018, 08:17:22 AM
It is mainly the fault of the bank, that chinese peoples bank or whatever is actually quite anti-crypto bank and somehow think crypto will make their business futile and destroy everyones lifes and make it impossible to have the financial system like we do right now. They might be right that crypto is aiming to change some stuff but as long as they could just follow the trends and react accordingly than they could adapt to the change but they are afraid of the change itself.

Hence the chinese government and politicians follow where the money currently is and do what the bank says. Do not worry tho when the crypto gets big enough the bank will be forgotten because money will be at the hands of the crypto holders who will pay politicians enough to stop listenning to the bank.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Some guy thinks the dollar is the only currency and bitcoin doesn’t fork on: November 15, 2018, 05:55:38 AM
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uP6ATdAxuZw

This amuses me, watch him between 2-6 minutes on this video.
He clearly has no idea as to what bitcoin is or what a bitcoin fork is.

He compares bitcoin to say it keeps following the dollar based on the price people set things at, however, that’s just funny because it’s like saying the Euro, yen and pound sterling don’t exist as a real currency because our price also gets translate for things like oil from the American price of the dollar and even the place it was originally mined in Grin.
You know what makes me laugh the most, it is obvious these guys want to talk, but the funniest part is that they keep making big fools out of themselves without having a single clue at all what they are even talking about and that makes it a whole lot absurd as to why someone would come to the public eye to just embarrass themselves.

At least, if you want to talk, have some decency to at least be well knowledgeable enough to have an idea what you are talking about and not come out to just display an act of ignorance. Maybe he should really know that the same fiat system has been f'd up over the years, so he really has nothing to say than trash.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2018, 04:37:39 AM
Everything depends on luck... Smiley
Well, as much as luck is always part of everything we do, we also have to realize that it is not everything that depends completely on luck and not when it comes to investments most especially. Knowledge of the space you are in will let you know how to handle yourself in that space or not.

If you are relying on luck all the time, which is mostly what a lot of people do by investing in anything they see, you will only realize you are getting soaked in losses over time.

However, you need to learn, you need to be smart, you need to take calculated risks, and you need to put your money where your mouth is. If you by any chance discard all these things, you will realize that luck does not actually have much to take you anywhere.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be a newbie trader. I avoided losing money. how? on: November 14, 2018, 05:33:01 PM
For a newbie who is learning how to trade, there is no way to avoid loss o money in trading. Even a well known expert in Crypto universe sometimes loss money. There is no way you wouldn't losssoke money when trading but the main issue is that don't do what is making you losing money from time to time. Learn and advance from that stage.
Even professional traders lose and I will keep saying this, any new trader that fails to understand that losing is a part of trading, is not ready to trade.

What is important now is how much you lose compared to how much you are profiting in the long run. It is a market, and very unpredictable, with signals just being there to guide, so if you really think those indicators will just give you 100% accurate result, then believe me anyone who thinks that is not ready for trading at all.

Like you mentioned, learn, advance, gain confidence, and keep practicing until you are sure of yourself and your skills. You will only end up overworking yourself as a trader, as well as your emotions, if you are looking for 100% wins all the time.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to collapse this week on: November 14, 2018, 04:38:51 PM
As expected nothing happened. People who think they can see the future in the bitcoin prices are all lying.

No one in the whole world, not a single person can see what the bitcoin price will be, some will say it will go up and others will say it will go down and one will be always right but when the next time comes around they will have to try to guess again and there will be less people right this time, on a long enough times there are literally no one left that is always right, some people are sometimes right and that's it.

If you see someone claiming bitcoin will do anything, stay away from them, they are bullshitting and not right. They are just guessing and making up reasons for what they said but almost always wrong. I have no idea what bitcoin will do, I just believe, this is the key word here, it will go up in the long run, 5 years from now I assume it will be more than what it is today. That's it.

Every time to me is always a good time to buy as long as you are comfortable with the value you are buying, you understand the long term potentials of the market, and you know that no matter how volatile the market may be for now, that does not change anything about its potential in the future and the fact that lower prices are always meant for accumulating the more. A lot of people who think they have lost money, it is only when they have ended up selling at loss that they have lost money, as long as they have not, I do not see a way they have.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night 139: Korean Zombie vs Rodriquez Info and Prediction Thread on: November 14, 2018, 08:24:04 AM
I am still not too sure if the hit was an intentional one or unintentional one. I mean they have been going at each other for the whole fight and it was almost over, I can't really believe they were both in good shape, they were both doing not so well at the end there because of the pounding they took, even a winning side is usually bloody in a UFC fight which begs the question was Rodriguez really in clear state of mind to elbow his opponent in a slight second move? Was he aware of his surroundings enough to actually pull something like that off at the end of the fight ? I am not really sure, if he did it than he probably did it out of instinct of all his training not because he had enough brain left to actually think it that quickly. Still a good move but doubt it was intentional.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will More Financial Freedom on a Global Scale Influence Geo-Politics? on: November 13, 2018, 10:48:20 AM
Probably will allow small business and all those non wealthy people to just use the same currency all together and any politician that would try to ban or at least intervene with global levels of money exchange for small people will probably lose votes and if we know anything about politicians that they do not like to lose votes and would do anything to not lose votes, even if its bad for the country if they can get couple more votes they will do it, which is why I honestly believe if the global adoption rate goes high than we will see a lot of good governmental support to bitcoin and other crypto all around the world connecting people together and helping payments to be made much easily since politicians will support it to get some more votes out of the situation.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 13, 2018, 06:15:39 AM
If we start sharing today and tell them how exactly bitcoin and other cryptos will work as currency, then that can be possible, in my opinion. The only problem that i see is that are they willing to use it despite its complexity and high price.
Using bitcoin as a currency is a choice and there is no way anyone can force any other person to do so. However, I guess the easiest way to make people want to show interest is to create some awareness through merchants accepting the use of bitcoin as a payment method, and in that case, since humans love new things, as long as it is easy for them, they see the value when it comes to that ease and their ability to spend easily without having to be monitored by the government or banks in which they are their own banks, this is something that would easily make it possible to start seeing real life usage.
380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market development on: November 13, 2018, 05:28:16 AM
Can't give a number for the g that but Binance has been showing its great power as one of the market leader in terms of exchanges. And that also shows on how much interest the market is gaining from the new comers and investors of the market.

It will continue no matter how deep we fall for this year. The market is just starting to recover and don't think about the maximum yet because it hasn't come up to this moment.
Honestly, Binance has really been able to show themselves worthy of being in the spot light and they are trying every means possible to stay in that spot light obviously. We have seen the rate at which they have grown rapidly over the years, the way investors have seen them as the best spot to at least trade due to some of the great features and benefits, and of course, this is something a lot of exchanges are not yet ready for.

IMHO, I will say Binance is really cutting it perfectly all the way, and they will get to develop more than this, considering the fact that they are even beginning to penetrate Africa.
