921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker on: October 03, 2017, 01:26:08 PM
This is obviously started by a person trying to advertise Btckings, but ok I'll bite.  I just checked your poker site and one of the things that discourages me, and most who wants to play online, is the low traffic.  What are your plans in fixing this and why do you think it'll be a different outcome from the other BTC poker sites who have failed?

Honestly, the only casino game that attracts me is poker but really it is no fun if we play it online. You can get the real thrill only in traditional land based casinos.

Obviously, it is not only AI that ruins fun in online poker but even playing with multiplayer, you can't get satisfaction and fun as well. Poker can be enjoyed at peak only in conventional casinos.
Technology has revolutionized our ways. It has facilitated us but nothing is perfect. Similarly, it is one of the cons of internet that people miss the real fun. I am also a poker player and seriously dude, poker can be enjoyed at peak only in land based casinos.

I tried it out with my friends at home but that was not very fascinating either. Dice is the right option to be played with AI.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: October 03, 2017, 12:55:28 PM
I see many coins around. Even a year ago there were some casinos accepting litecoin and dogecoin. As bitcoin is now really expensive and slow plus some people are afraid of tomorrow's segwit thing, I thought it would be interesting enough to create a poll and see how many people still gamble with bitcoin and are there many fans of other coins. Nowadays the range is really wide, so we have what to choose from What do you think?

Gambling with altcoins is smart, the bitcoin transaction fee I feel is too high right now for sending back and forth to the gambling sites.
This is probably the only real reason to gamble with altcoins, the transaction fee of bitcoin is still too high while the transaction fee of a coin like doge is very cheap, the only issue is that bitcoin is accepted in most casinos and this is does not apply to altcoins so we are going to be limited in the number of casinos that we can play with it.

Many reputed sites are accepting Doge coins expect a couple of them like primedice site. If you're planning gamble only for fun then you can always choose the site which are accepting these altcoins to play the games and no need to go to those Bitcoin-specific sites to play. Dogecoin price is very cheap, transactions are fast and transaction fee also less so most people like to gamble with it and I also tried few times with Dogecoin to play dice game.

If someone wants to do online gambling using crypto currencies, he can find many options. Many sites accept bitcoins and some of famous altcoins at the same time. Personally, I think it is not a wise decision to bet with digital assets because we can earn good profits through them by simply keeping them in wallets especially if you are gambling with bitcoins.
It would be wise to keep your valuables in your pockets. At first, gambling is not a very cool game. It is like wasting your money. Above that, going for it with digital assets mean increasing the loss. That would be stupid actually.

All that glitters are not gold. Gambling with bitcoins or altcoins attracts due to the ease it offers, but it has greater disadvantages.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: October 03, 2017, 12:26:19 PM
Maths could help you win at gambling to a certain degree. Statistics also come into place too. There is no magic formula to win at gambling unless you are the house in most cases the odds of winning are almost always in the houses favour and if you do get lucky it's there job to keep you planning until you put more back to them.
Maths, Physics, Computer, Calculus etc nothing can help us to win in gambling because no subject tells us how to control our fate. We can just calculate our loss to keep ourselves saves.

Other than that, math does not offers tricks to bring the number that we want in dice or make the third slot get the same object that previous two ones have. It is a random game and mostly we lose because house has edge.
924  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 03, 2017, 11:51:33 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

of course its not, but in business terms, investment is a gambling, there are two ways to drive you money with, its either fall (loose) and pump (gain). so not just this bitcoin they may called "gambling but most of all investment projects. let you think this, you are a share holder, or major stock holder in your company, after a year your company got successful, but suddenly it gets rough and get into
bankrupt. and thats the meaning of gambling in terms of investment. no one sure of it.
Bitcoin is not a gambling at all. This is a different concept that it has basically become common nowadays that some people use bitcoins for the sake of gambling .the ratio of such activities has still not risen to a dangerous level.

If you have invested your coins into some sort of business and that is not a fair play at all, then one can day that bitcoins are becoming a source of some criminal activity.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Fraud Says Jamie Dimon - JPMorgan CEO - WTF!? on: October 03, 2017, 11:04:42 AM
Coming from the guy that tried to blackmail a woman for billions because she wanted to reveal the truth about the 2008 financial crash
That guy is totally fraud and the main reason behind his shitty statements are jealousy to the bitcoin progress all he wanted to do is to harm bitcoin and take it to zero but he is failing and bitcoin investors slaps on his face by investing more and more into this, and the time will come he will also invest into it by seeing its benefits.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: October 03, 2017, 10:34:19 AM
according to my concept now it is a good time to buy ,store ,and retrieve bitcoin .if we have money and interest in bitcoin technology and not bothered in losing ,you can try for a chance of luck to  buy bitcoin.the bitcoin chart gives an idea of depreciation nobody can predict whether the price will rise or fall .For the long run it might be good to buy bitcoin now.
Good time is the time of dump and it gives golden chance to enhance the amount of bitcoin one have, skill is the main thing how you can calm down and be patient in time of dump, technically dealing with the bitcoin is the game of nerves and in time of pump holding is not good option sell s much as you can to get enough for you and your family.

928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an agreed currency code for Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2017, 05:29:05 AM
Quote
This explains all and theres nothing to argue regarding on this topic

I really didn't make my question clear, my apologies. This is about projects, apps and systems that rely on these codes. Systems developers generally prefer unique identifiers.

This isn't about fighting the system, or being free from oppressive, tired and useless bureaucracy. The question has nothing to do with feelings or preferences. I also prefer BTC, and have gotten used to it over the last 8 years - but who cares.

I suppose the actual answer is: We haven't got to that stage yet. Which is understandable.
Yes all about the controllers. What they think about the codes and what should be these for? They must realize the need for any currency code for bitcoin. I also think that we are still not in that stage to explain something about such a technical question like this one.

I also do not have any idea about the currency code for crypto digital currency. Just make sure that bitcoin wallet is secure and safe.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 06:18:23 AM
children nowadays is very influencing by a modern technology they want playing games watching movies in the internet that's how we can teach them on how to earn bitcoin, we can introduce them bitcoin by playing games that can earn satoshi so they will have an income, and children nowadays is so wise unlike before children is not influence by a modern technology they just want to play outside home playing chinese garter.
I personally suggest that kids should be told about the importance of bitcoins first. Their value in the current market and try to develop their interest in this. Afterwards we can let them know the basic information and other details about this currency. This is the most effective way i guess.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 27, 2017, 05:38:10 AM
In life it all depends on our minds, if we think easy then everything becomes easy, just like with money, we can make money with easy way and at this moment all we can do is by investment bitcoin.
The best way to steady income is to spend the money wisely on the bitcoins first. Then wait for the right opportunity to spend them when you need it the most. Also a very good of steading is by keeping the bitcoins saved because as we all know the value of bitcoins will go sky high in coming years or so.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 27, 2017, 05:05:58 AM
I don't have more coins only a very little is with me, so I always think how to grow it rather than spending. If I am so tight financially I will spent few otherwise I will hold it simply for future and also I hate to waste money on gambling.
If i have a lot of bitcoins, i will surely try to save them for the tough time. Also i will look to time when the value of bitcoin will go high. Well it depends on the needs, if need money at any moment i will go on to spend it. Otherwise i will keep it saved.  Keeping in mind the recent value of bitcoins.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 26, 2017, 01:15:09 PM
Well this is one of the risk that may bring down Bitcoin and make investors of Bitcoin have a negative return on investment.
its possible to some countries but not in general people will still find some ways to continue the system, crypto currency I think wont be
banned there's regulation that will be created and still investors will take the risk knowing that in the long run this investment will still
bring good income for those who take the action.
It is impossible to ban it because it gave people a lot of benefit in shopping and in financial way. So no chance to ban such an evergreen and profiting investment. And if some region ban it automatically the region will suffer in upcoming era when trades are done in the form of this so don’t get into such debate and invest to gain.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 12:25:25 PM
Should I Invest In Bitcoin?

If you want to change your life for the better and become someone who lives the dream of others, then you have to take risks. You have to be different from others if you don't want to have the same fate as others who suffer. Choose to be someone who fail but tried and always tries rather than being someone who doesn't do anything that doesn't fail but also does not move forward.

Hope you absorb this advice. And always try. Goodluck op.
Yes you should invest into the bitcoin because it is more reliable than any other business. And it may will give you the profit at the next moment you buy it. So it is smart to invest in such business in which profit rate is so high and which can stabilized your life and give you lavishness and a lot more.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China vs BTC? on: September 26, 2017, 11:39:17 AM
Again i am seeing one more comfort zone  question please do some research or atleast understand whats happening china is trying to close illegal activities using bitcoin and in the name of ICO there is lots of scam happening everything they are regulating.
I don’t know what china is thinking about bitcoin but as they are banning it they will suffer their decision as the countries around china make it legal and are doing business in it then there is no logic by the Chinese to cutoff the bitcoin trade in their region and bitcoin is not that much effected by their decision but Chinese themselves will be effected sooner or later,
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 25, 2017, 12:22:51 PM
Gather many informations about why the price of bitcoin are falling like that and if that news cause a big impact and makes bitcoin will fall more, just sell all your bitcoins directly before the price fall again. After that, just wait until everything calm down and start buying bitcoin again before the price start increase. I always do this though and it works.
I think this is better approach toward success of business in bitcoins. You have to wait and watch the price charts carefully accompanied with the events behind every rise and fall. Whenever it is fall, find out the event and if that event may have some affects in near future, just sell bitcoin.
936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: September 25, 2017, 11:25:52 AM
many new trader try to buy altcoin and bitcoin by news or advice on bitcointalk or just by friend say "buy that coin, it's will go to moon tonight"
that is your money.

Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Cheers!

i won't buy if the advice is like that because i have this experience in my earlier trading and the reality i am currently hold until 3 monts or more. i'd better to search by myself, doing analyze for the coins, determine the price for buying and selling. if the conditions is like now, my advice is better to hold our coins and don't sell to cut loss.
That your approach of thinking. This is exciting to listen that you will dare to take risks at tough time but mostly it is advised in business domain to go for low risky thing. Holding is better and yield you more profit than day trading but still it is your plan to which you have to stick.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good news to bitcoin traders. on: September 25, 2017, 09:24:28 AM
I do not really see this as any news since Chinese never came out to say they were banning bitcoin in the first place. Some whales only took that as a means to make gullible people react to the market so they can buy at low price. Good for those who fell for it.
Yes actually it's true
Bitcoin was expected to fall below $4000 earlier than this Chinese FUD has started. I don't know why people are panicking like hell by seeing FUD news. On top of this JP Morgan CEO's news had reached main stream media and people that this is the end.
Some people can't digest BTC going down a certain percentage but when it's going up they'll be yelling at BTC like "Go to moon!"
It is because they're not mature enough when it comes to the deepest meaning of bitcoin, which in the end they got panic when the price goes down, however the present value so far is little bit recovering anyhow, I guess this will continously go up going to the moon.
Those who are doing panic selling with bitcoins, I will advise them not to give up on their coins that easily. Bitcoins are soon going to pump and most probably they will touch 5k dollars at the end of this year. So no need to go with the flow, rather keep them in wallets for being a part of next epic ride.
I will second to what all you have said without having a second thought even. You have correctly said that Bitcoin market price will for sure increase tremendously very soon. So there is no point of selling them at low cost in spite of the fact that you can earn a handsome amount of profit from Bitcoins by holding them.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: forex trading vs cripto trading on: September 25, 2017, 08:46:28 AM
Depending on the skill each person, but for me crypto trading is more easy and more profitable than forex trading. Because i havebeen 2 years in forex trading but until now can not get profit consistent. And i started crypto trading a few month ago then now i got some profit. Continue learn and keep patient is key of succes in trading.
You have rightly said that this thing depends on each person’s own interest. For me, crypto trading is very much better and is recommended instead of forex trading. The profit and market value of Crypto currency especially Bitcoin is far much better than forex trading. You can earn a lot of money by trading in crypto.
Very well said! There is hardly any good reason to deny the fact that market of crypto is far better than that of forex. Crypto currency is becoming the most demanding currency all over the world now a days. Forex trading is good as well but Crypto currency trading has more advantages than that of forex trading.

939  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 23, 2017, 09:46:34 AM
Definitely invest. I advise you to choose the Fund that will manage your money. Entrust it to professionals. Now is the time when one of those in whom you invest will bring you millions. As it happened with Ethereum and its investors.
exactly investment is always better than the saving in back or in safe of your house. i think investment is little bit of riskey but it has a good chance of healthy profit and it you are aware of altcoins and bitcoin then invest in some good altcoin and bitcoin.
you will be very happy in the future after seeing the profit.
There is always a risk in everything that you try. Even saving has its own risk like you are risking your money by not touching it because of the inflation rate then it will decrease the real value of your money so if you will invest it then you can fight the inflation rate but it has still some risk but it is alright because that is the better and advisable way to do.
Indeed every action we take involves risk but we determine safe ones by the low risk level and saving is less risky than investing at least this is what I have observed in case of bitcoins.

Trading with bitcoins is really every dangerous. No one can afford such expensive coins so I am holding mine in offline wallet.
Yes I completely agree with you that in this day bitcoin is the most profitable business all over the world. as we see that those people who have bought bitcoin in 2009 and 10, now they have earned a lot of money till date.

This is the reason that I recommend incesting your money in some business besides holding in banks. And the far better business is bitcoin because of the skyrocket price of it.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: September 23, 2017, 08:21:25 AM
Because people and companies continue to buy bitcoin, in fact many companies are also buying bitcoin so bitcoin prices continue to increase, this is what becomes bitcoin power to continue to be the leader.
Yes you are right that powers comes  from the people and the population of people who are   investing and trading in bit coin is a clear indication of the power of bit coin so now a day’s bit coin has power  due its miscellaneous merits and advantages.
