361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna CEO summoned by lawmakers on: May 22, 2022, 08:17:36 AM
Then he did this. And people went crazy for the same shit. Do you know why I do not feel sorry for people?
I think I also saw that info somewhere. That means the guy really mean it. It was not an accident or something but they already plan to scam people right at the start. They only get the people's trust and when many people believes on them and think they are trustworthy, that's the time they will pull off their trick.

If only those poor people did a research about this guy if what is his background, they will know that this guy is not trusted because he already did some shady acts on the past but it was too late for them to realize it. I just hope that they won't repeat the same mistake and never underestimate the power of research next time.

Of course. 99% of altcoins,,, do you think the devs and owners really want to change the world? If true,,, why do they need to launch ICOs and IDOs or sell things made out of zero value?

As I said I totally blame the people because scams was obvious.

They are putting their money into the garbage project and then they got scammed. They are all yelling for the government to help them all. what a pathetic community.

They knew it was a scam but like all buyers think they can get in early before it crashes. Pathetic but that is what you get with altcoin 'communities'.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 20, 2022, 11:24:26 AM
That is also true, Premier League clubs always fight to the last minute no matter the stakes but I don't think it will matter that much since there is a big qoulity gap between these two clubs and Saints aren't a team that can defend whole game and get to the points that way.

Calcio still gets odds @2 for draws in last game week when draw is good enough for both sides. There are never odds like that for draws in PL.

That is so true. It makes it so hard to bet on draws in EPL especially when you actually watch them, the minute the teams are drawing you see both sides want to take all the points,,, for some reason they do this even if they are the poor side, with exception of one or two teams like Everton for a while (trying to draw and not win). But see when they play like last night they can even score 3 goals to win a game,,, I do not understand why they did not do this sooner!

This is even worse in injury time everyone thinks they can snatch the winner Smiley
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: May 20, 2022, 09:04:38 AM
For a woman, I have no idea how physical abilities work,,, so I would not be too quick to discount this veteran.

So she was only fighting 7 years and made her debut when she was 33? That is an amazing type of story for any sports people  Shocked
Agree with you. Women have a different physiology when they age compared to men. They definitely are more flexible so a grappler can outlast their opponent in that aspect.
She did beat Ronda Rousey so don't doubt the old lady can come out with a win in this one.

I still decided to go against old lady in this one in predictions in the end,,, but yes, in my limited understanding of women's sports it seems they are more flexible and more able to take pain in later ages. You can see this in Olympics gymnastics, women stay in the sport for decades as they are still so agile probably more vulnerable to direct hits however!
364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: May 20, 2022, 07:41:38 AM
I'm sorry I overlook your post about your house edge concern. The 0.28% is the current updated house edge and the old house edge is what I didn't know. The old website is not organize like this one so getting this kind of info is very hard that time.

Anyone here still using the Roulette strategy to farm wager? I report this already multiple times but still I can't play it using other currency except Bitcoin. Is there any alternative games you are using beside Plinko that other cryptocurrency is still working? I'm having hard time to manually farm this wager on Blackjack since I sometimes being greedy when I'm carried away.

No problem! Good to know it is updated,,, then the old house edge must have been even lower. Just hoping that we can see website cleaned up more. Have already mentioned a few things and personally, I think cleaning up text and updating FAQ is super important for first impressions on newbies, maybe sujonali can help to remind Admin Smiley

And sorry about the problem with roulette. I only use Bitcoin every single casino,,, so cannot offer help there. Why not exchange your crypto for BTC to gamble?
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: May 20, 2022, 07:09:02 AM
I would never be so sure anymore about history.

I think April, for example, was historically always a green month for Bitcoin / crypto but it did not turn out so. In fact, last week was the first time in Bitcoin entire history it recorded back to back 7 weeks of red, thanks to April.

We might even see week 8 if we do not find a way to go above 30k Sad
366  Economy / Speculation / Re: What was the most deceitful speculation you ever fell for on: May 20, 2022, 05:47:20 AM
Never below 40k when ATH was 68k is kinda dumb of those people to post such things,,, but I guess they all are hiding now  Grin. We all know BTC can fall to almost 80% away from ATH once the bear comes but that is worst case scenario, which is why I thought 5k was very good as it was just over 80% from almost 20k back in 2017.

Even if Bitcoin never falls to 70% anymore that is still just below $20k.

That is why until now bitcoin is still holding on at $20k because it is impossible for bitcoin to drop to 70% because it can be said that the worst thing will happen after 2021.
And when this inflation ends we also do not know.

I guess people like you just simply never actually bother to read posts and threads, and titles,,, This is about the most deceitful speculation and we are literally sharing stories of people who said 'can never happen' 'impossible' or 'worst thing' and you have just yourself come out and said something along those lines.

Impossible is not a word in crypto.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 19, 2022, 01:16:39 PM
They only lost confidence on luna but not on the other cryptos that they are holding. I know other cryptos are also dumping but now this wasn't related or caused by luna. Before the luna collapsed, the market are already on this phase. 100k for btc is one of the wishes by the many but if they have priority I think that is when the price starts to stabilize and break the 50k barrier.

100k can only come soon when the situation became a little better. It's normal that they can predict higher prices for btc but they can't expect the same thing for altcoins. I know alts can follow btc but still, btc is still more superior compared to all of them. Tbh im not buying but I am just earning sats online and for me the cryptos that are worth it for long term is only btc.

Remember also that crypto is dumping because stock markets are dumping. Bigger fears from inflation, Asian stocks slipping and now European stocks are following today big dump,,, all of this always leads to more selling for crypto, so Luna news is not alone.

Even if people get over it we have months if not years of global fears so we have to prepare for worse scenarios this year.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: May 19, 2022, 11:45:41 AM
UFC Vegas 55 is this weekend and another action packed lineup welcoming some familiar fighters to the octagon.
The main event has Holm vs Vieira. At a 10 year age gap, this will test the 40 year old veteran who made her debut back in 2015.

Here is the challenge for your chance to win some prizes:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5399245

40 year old men are very clearly disadvantage to a 30 year old male fighter. You know because in sports men reach their peak in late 20s and stay at peak until mid 30s and then injuries are the worst enemy.

For a woman, I have no idea how physical abilities work,,, so I would not be too quick to discount this veteran.

So she was only fighting 7 years and made her debut when she was 33? That is an amazing type of story for any sports people  Shocked
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna CEO summoned by lawmakers on: May 19, 2022, 11:03:10 AM
here's some things that must become the main concern

1. Legal action
2. Do kwon avoid to pay the tax
3. Dissolve the company before the crash like he knows what will be happening.

Im sure that this is the biggest fraud in the crypto and it seems like do kwon must be jailed caused by this fraud. He will face another problem. It's not only retail investors but im sure when more legal action come against him and he will be on the difficult position.
He was dealing with so many people in this case.

You know I saw on Coinbase youtube that there are several ex employees of Terra who said this guy Do Kwon actually did a very similar scam in 2021. He launched a stablecoin,,, also tied to us dollar, also using minting/burning of two different coins in a loop and also using a reserve fund to peg. That one was launched anonymously but they said he was one of the devs.

20 million lost or something.

Then he did this. And people went crazy for the same shit. Do you know why I do not feel sorry for people?

I’m not paying attention that much on house edge since it's too small to notice for players like me that using it only for fast phase game basis. I usually end my session after getting my target small profit and never get greedy. I know how this kind of game works and I should get out as soon as possible because my limited bankroll can not cover a multiple loss streak. You can easily report it on the chatbox rather than here because Blackjack.fun support is always active there than here but I will try brought this up there tomorrow once I play again.

I have some issue on that house blackjack when playing fast. There is always visual delay bug whenever I hit many card or I get blackjack because the dealer keeps hitting despite the game is already over.

I do not really mind much about house edge here and there,,, it will be important to new players to know the actual house edge, that is really as 0.28% as on the site and that is my signature/avatar too. I am sure of this, but equally sure we should update the FAQ to remove the mention of those lifelines as that for certain will raise questions about house edge.

Already reported in chatbox anyway,,, just asking here as well Smiley

I know what you mean about the visual delay but it is really just to show to you also the conclusion. I do not mind that Smiley

Noticed yesterday they had the bet free 6-6 known as Super 7 for the special occasion from the promotion below:
Sportsbet.io Pizza Day - Week long promotion!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5398864.0

As for the prize, sure. We can do that. But I get 1/6 so not likely for me to get it either.
From going over your selections we have almost all the same results for who wins for the final EPL rounds.

Yes,,, Super 7 happened a few times now, I cannot remember what the last occassion was but Christmas maybe or something festive. Or was that 12 days of Christmas something else!

Have the specials that are given out live at Clubchat been very good? Quite long since I manage to stay up online and try chat, but I remember the super boosts there a lot  Cheesy

I cannot remember exactly when, but in 2018 or 2019 I guess,,, thinking it would never be possible for Bitcoin to go below $5k ever again, especially when we spent long long periods near 10k, everyone said accumulation and consolidation for almost 1 year and I believed it.

You imagine how I felt in early 2020 I honestly thought I was going to lose everything.

I have believed in a number of this kind of prediction or assurance. Just recently, I remembered even known people would post on their social media accounts that Bitcoin's price wouldn't be falling below $40,000 or $50,000 ever again. But not only did the price of Bitcoin fall below those levels, it even went down far away from those. Even myself thought days ago that however bearish the market would be, it is almost impossible for the price to fall below $30,000. But it has.

Yes that life line is available during there first version of blackjack back to the time when they are not revamping to the current casino. I really missed that life line because you can peek on the dealers hand if you use it but there is just a limitation on the amount that you can bet when using it. I hope that the admin will return that feature in the future and add a table where player can play at one table and battling against the house.

I’m having a problem browsing the casino specifically the freeroll table using my tablet. Until now the casino is slow loading and very hard to play games. Is there ongoing maintenance?

Yes,,, I thought it was really cool to read that, not so cool that it is no longer the case. Does this mean the house edge was even lower when Blackjack.fun started out or is this 0.28% house edge actually also needing to be updated because those Lifelines are gone?

No issues for site speed for me, but I only play blackjack (house version). Other game providers not so fast so I do not spend much time on them.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 18, 2022, 09:16:14 AM
Ok I got it for yellow cap calculations and agree with Harkorede if someone is willing to make the calculations and,,, we are all willing to trust their calculations  Grin

I think it is unfair on the person to do all that though, we should leave it as is I have no issue OR disqualify any rounds where there are not 10 games. That is easier!
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: May 18, 2022, 07:12:38 AM
Just a reminder to everyone, final EPL round is here and ready to predict, this time the prize is 250,000 instead of the regular 100,000.

These are the games to pick, I went for a couple of upsets,,, and a couple of draws,,, never even hit 3/6 so who knows if I pick from 7 games. What do you guys think we make an agreement. If one of us wins any of the big prize, we split with those who agree? Wink

https://sportsbet.io/sports/bet-free-6-6

Brentford - Leeds : 1-2
Burnley - Newcastle: 0-3
Crystal Palace - Manchester United: 2-0
Leicester - Southampton: 1-1
Liverpool - Wolverhampton Wanderers: 5-0
Manchester City - Aston Villa: 1-1
Norwich - Tottenham Hotspur: 0-3
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 17, 2022, 12:15:59 PM
I am open for all ideas, but I think for sake of simplicity keep to the easiest one, which is also as mentioned a good incentive to fight for the cap even if you are in bottom spot. Something I am extremely familiar with and trying to do in the EPL pool,,, which is better as you get a prize every yellow cap anyway!  Grin

Sad to read about Chiellini leaving. I am new to Italian football but I watched him play in internationals for all I can remember. And even in last Euro he gave us good memories of pulling people back hehe. The ultimate Italian style, in my understanding.
