3601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: December 28, 2021, 08:51:22 PM
PSG are chasing the champions trophy for the first time in the history of the club, facing Madrid is certainly like the final that is too early. Having a star player, should be able to give good results for PSG in the UCL, however, we also need to pay attention to Madrid's current position which can maintain the positive trend they have had since the start of the season. Both in the UCL and in La-Liga, madrid has the dominance in the match, this needs to be watched out for by PSG, based on this stats, my prediction is Madrid will be able to qualify for the next phase, even with a thin aggregate goal. of course, stats is nothing, who have better playing scheme, they will be the winner.
Madrid has always been a great tournament team, they won UCL nearly twice as more as the closest team. They have 13 cups so far whereas closest is Milan with 7, and third is 6 with Liverpool so more than twice of third team. Not all of them were won when they were the best team, sometimes not even on La Liga championship run, so it is easy to say that Madrid is definitely not the type of team that would give up too easily.

PSG has a very very tough matchup, not just looking at rosters, if we looked at rosters I would say the game was already over and PSG won, they have a much much better roster to be honest, but PSG is not playing at 100% whereas Real is always dangerous and ready to beat anyone they face even when they are not at their best. This is why it is going to be a bit of a difficulty and lets hope that we end up with something decent to watch at the very least.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 28, 2021, 08:21:58 PM
If the Bulls will reach the playoffs, their biggest rivals will be the 76ers, Nets, and Bucks. Of the 3 teams I mentioned, I think the Bulls will struggle against the Bucks because they have enough roster who can stop the big 3 of the Bulls and they are the defending champion so they have proven to be a good team. With the Bulls success, I think they become the most hype team this season and I'm sure they will continue to impressed the NBA fans with their great perforamance in every game.
Everyone imagines that by the playoff time we will be much better in covid cases and we will not have this many players missing games. However, I am not entirely sure if that will be the case, I know there is a long time to go until playoffs but covid cases seems to be increasing more than ever, not killing as many but definitely still not allowed to play at the very least. This is why I am not entirely sure if playoffs will be exactly how we imagine it will be like.

Bucks, Nets, Bulls, Sixers all need to be careful about the covid cases so that the team with the least amount of players out, will be the team with the biggest advantage. If there is no more risk, then I am still expecting Bucks to be beating everyone else, they did it last year, and I can see them doing it again this year as well. Not going to be as easy, but definitely still possible.
3603  Economy / Economics / Re: Mortgage are most wrong financial decision you can make on: December 27, 2021, 09:58:46 PM
You can run numbers all you want but there is intrinsic value in holding a mortgage.  If you don't have enough money  on hand to buy a house and have a family, there is value in putting your family in a permanent home that you can do what you want there.  That's why most people choose to get a mortgage, not just based on numbers.
I was also having the same thought right now, but then everyone can have their own opinion on things like this. I wouldn’t say that the both of you are right nor wrong, it all depends on the way you view it. Before taking a mortgage, one should look at the advantages of taking a mortgage and the disadvantages. If after you have weighed all these and you feel that it would be right for you to go ahead and start taking a mortgage, then it’s alright.

But, if you feel it is not for you, then you can go with an option that is totally different. Mortgage seems like an affordable way to own a home, and it is also a cost-effective way of borrowing, but then you will have to watch out for the fees that comes with it. And then as for investing in Bitcoin, you should know there are risks involved as well, and stock market wouldn’t fetch as much profit as the cryptocurrency market.
3604  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 27, 2021, 03:48:07 PM
This site is already generous to their players as you can earn those RPs for free if you just play their free btc.
They even have bonuses from time to time, like 5x of RP for specific periods.
And no one is forcing you to spend those RPs to accumulate more lottery tickets, or free btc bonus.
It is all up to the player where he wants to spend it. But remember, it was freely given in the first place.
There will always be people who would ask for more. This here however is all about how we end up losing it all anyway, I mean house edge is in place just because of this exact reason, so that we would have a bigger chance to lose than we would win. If you wager 100 bucks on 50% chance to win, you will lose all that 100 bucks if you lose, but earn 95 bucks if you win, that 5 bucks difference is what house edge is called and that is the reason in the long run everyone will lose.

This is not some sort of "bash" against casinos, that's how they run a business, we can't expect them to be a charity or a reality show that gives us a chance to win something, they need to run a business. Compared to any other place, freebitco.in gives away the most if you ask me, there are a few places with millions of dollars worth giveaway to "winners" these days but this place does it for everyone.
3605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 27, 2021, 02:56:32 PM
Are Ferrari suggesting that they don't expect to start with a strong car in 2022?

This article begins with the F1 CEO talking about how he expects at the start of the season, some cars will be a lot better than others, due to how they've each interpreted the new rules. I think anyone would agree that this would be as expected, similar to what we saw at the start of the current era, when no-one could touch Mercedes. But then it goes on to a quote from Binotto at Ferrari, who I think sounds quite negative and effectively says that Ferrari's biggest strength is that they can catch up with whoever starts the season ahead.
I am guessing that it is expected of Ferrari to not be at the top right away, he knows this and we know it and everyone else know it as well. Some stuff changed, specially the style of the car but engine is basically similar as far as I know, and they didn't have a great engine to be fair. Plus, Mercedes and Red Bull are known to push the limits of what is legal and what is not, we have seen teams end up doing something that was in the gray area, and then end up getting that thing banned but not retrospectively punished and then the team had to change it, red bull most famously had the wing situation for example, wasn't illegal, made illegal because of the gray area situation.

Binotto basically means exactly those situations, some teams will follow the rules to a dot, and some will try to push it and see if they can get away with it or not.
3606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to altcoins or switch to Bitcoin or stablecoins? on: December 27, 2021, 10:53:04 AM
Market is witnessing some gradual dumps and it's a know fact that altcoins will bleed more than bitcoin and they will be stable or recover only when bitcoin recovers and pumps.
Yeah, you are right and it seems that bitcoin already started its recovery phase hence it may not be the right to think about to think about to sell off unless you are already into profits. If you are already in profits with your altcoins then you may start booking profits in bitcoin as bitcoin may set a new ATH around $100k in coming months.

will it be wise to hold on to Altcoin or switch to Bitcoin or convert the funds into stablecoins and wait for market to either start recovering or to dump further to buy more in order to reach breakthrough for the lose which we might have incurred till now.
Your plans are sounding too good as most crypto investors never plan up like that (or at least I never do with my altcoins stash). Only bitcoin enters into bearish trend, you may think about stablecoins until then either continuing with altcoin or converting into bitcoin might be a wise decision as per current market conditions.
3607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find Airdrop or ICO project? on: December 26, 2021, 09:14:10 PM
I want to know how to find airdrop or ICO project...how to check scam or real and how much profit airdrop can make...and if u have experience about airdrop or ico things can u share this exp in here:Smiley
Same old questions every time. I believe that this question has been asked and answered several times in this forum. If you’re looking for legit ICO to be part of, the first thing that you have to look into is the team that are running the ICO.  It is very important that you get to know who the team are and what they are all about. If it’s a team that’s hiding their identity, then that’s an issue.

You have to avoid any project that seems too shady,. Try to check out their social media platforms and get to know each member of the team and if they what they claim to be,by checking how well that their profiles matches what they have said on their website. If it doesn’t seem like they are really who they claim to be, then you should avoid the project. The next thing is that you should learn more about that project, read the whitepaper.
3608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish Scenario - Minimum will reach $75000 on: December 25, 2021, 09:01:41 PM
It's because of the halving in May 2020 that pushed the price to a new all time high in 2021. Not once, but twice we achieved it in a year.
I wouldn't say it was the halving that caused all of this right away. I mean sure it had an impact there is no denying that but so many things happened in the same year that I would say all played a part.

For example, the whole "gamestop stock" thing played a role, because there were a lot of people who bought crypto and that stock and brought a lot of those people here as well, dogecoin and Elon musk played a role, and sure halving played a role, covid played a role, high inflation played a role, covid relief payments to people which was basically free money paid a role. I could name more stuff but you get the gist. It was never really one thing, it was multiple things that caused the price to go up if you ask me.
3609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: December 23, 2021, 09:53:27 PM
One thing is for sure when it comes down to finances and money investment then wall street is what is most important.
And im not educated but i have connections and experinces that average JOE can only dream about.
As my social circle is wall street guys i know the info.
And wall street told me btc will be ath  100,000$ next year february.
You guys not been good but its a christmas i make little gift to you as you will know when its a bull run now.
Nobody can know this for sure, but we are just making a guess. Obviously ATH is something that is very fragile and could be achieved very easily if you are lucky enough. I am not saying that it will happen in February, I will never know what bitcoin will do in advance, if I was capable of "knowing" what it will do, I would sell every single thing I own and put all of that money into bitcoin and be a billionaire in no time.

However, we could always make a prediction and we all know that it took us less than 2 weeks to reach from nearly 28k price to 68k levels to a new ATH during October pump, which shows proof that in 2 weeks we could go from here to even maybe as high as 100k, or at least over ATH. We "could" do that, will we? We do not know.
3610  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 23, 2021, 06:26:36 PM
The $50k resistance is too big to conquer right now, the wall is big enough that we can't get over with. We have attempted several times already that I've lost count. So with that said, I think we are leaning towards a bear market next year. Again, this is just my personal opinion, take it or leave it, but at least I'm going to prepare myself and brace for a worst crypto winter.
Honestly the key word there is "for now", because we all know that with the right amount of hype, we could break over 50k and even 60k and to say even craziest, we could break over 70k. I am not saying that we will, but bitcoin world is capable of pushing prices to insane levels whenever we want to. Just because we haven't in a while doesn't mean that we won't, we could fail to do it 10 times but then on 11th time we would be able to get something a lot better suddenly and be at the top and breaking ATH and so forth.

This is why I believe that we should not be really focusing on something that people are not even worried about right now, breaking 50k is not the main issue, not being able to reach to ATH is the real issue. You may think "if we can't break 50k, why should be worried about 70k?" but the reality is that if we are capable of breaking 50k, that doesn't mean that we are forced to stay at 52k and stop there, we could go even further.
3611  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 23, 2021, 03:16:05 PM
Lets just accept the fact that there are people who could spend up those amounts which us ordinary joe would dropped our jaw on seeing those numbers and i do feel envious whenever i do encounter on this one.

For sure he would stay on peak for a while and that 650k lead or gap isnt something that could easily be beaten up with #2 rank but hey lets not remove the probabilities.
In overall, we could really say that there are lots who had trusted up rollbit that much.
There was a very good sketch by chris rock talking about the differences between "rich" and "wealthy". His greatest example was how Shaq is rich, but the guy who pays his salary is wealthy, how Oprah is rich, but Bill Gates is wealthy.

So all in all, we have some great rich people who gamble here as well but at the top we have someone who is wealthy. Wealth is spending 1+ billion dollars on wagering (not exactly 1 billion of course) and being more than 2x of second place. Sure having 10 million in wagering is rich, it’s really rich, that's awesome feeling, and then we have someone who did that x100 times over and then some. That guy is not rich, that guy is wealthy, and I do not see him stopping anytime soon neither. Let’s hope that he doesn't drag himself to a horrible place financially, no matter how rich you are, it is matter of hours or even maybe a few days at most to lose all of your wealth.
3612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 23, 2021, 12:32:20 PM
There are lots of exchanges available in this crypto platform. Binance kucoin coinbase houbi and so many good exchange Where people keep trading daily. But apart from that, sometimes we need to use unknown exchange for trading. Some may good and some may bad. And thats what I'm looking for! Your selected worst exchange, may best for others but it doesn’t matter. Share the name of exchange which gave you worst trading experience, scam your fund or sometime else. Share, so that others can alert from it.
I have never used any unknown or unpopular exchange before. It has always been popular exchanges that I have been making use of. The first that I started with was Coinbase and then later I got to discover about Binance exchange, and since they charges lesser fees than Coinbase when it comes to trading, I had to start doing most of my trading on the Binance exchange.

But I have been scammed once, but that wasn’t on an exchange, rather it was during a one-on-one trading experience. Then I was still a noob and never knew how these exchanges things works, and I went to one forum looking for who to sell my bitcoins to, and got scammed by someone, but it was just a small amount. But I also met reliable traders that I can sell to at a better rate than even exchanges. As for the exchanges, I have been trading with Binance and Coinbase for long and never considered changing to any other exchange.
3613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have been scammed in pancackeswap telegram group on: December 22, 2021, 09:58:19 PM
Dear community. Has this also happened to anyone? I was trying to connect my trust wallet to  pancackeswap but it return error every time. Then I went to pancackeswap website and clicked a link to their telegram group and joined. I immediately received a phone call and I explained my problem. I was sent a link to troubleshoot the problem: www.app.walletimports.com and followed the procedure. I didn't know it was stealing my secret  key because I believed that pancackeswap is a reputable company. They stole my 0.055 BNB. Be careful with that telegram group.
I have to say OP is not the first person to get scammed on telegram, he is not the last one either. Scamming basically a "profession" by some people, I have literally seen people with 10-11 different methods that they try every single day on hundreds of different people, from phishing to spamming weird stuff to many many other methods. So, I have to say that there is a good chance scammers will continue to keep scamming people and there is no stopping them.

I remember that there were a lot of people who scammed people inside casinos, like literally "give me your money and I will gamble better than you could gamble", how the hell so many people fell for it is beyond me. So, there are too many ways to scam but also there are some gullible people as well, there are always some people who end up losing a ton of money to these stuff.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2021, 09:40:38 PM
Liverpool is entering the race for Haaland! I hoped this would happen, it makes so much sense from business perspective as well which is a key metric when they analyze new signings.

Haaland has a low release clause, he's English, still so young with amazing potential and plays in a position Liverpool needs to strengthen anyway. Apparently Salah requested big signings if the club wants him to extend as well.

This just looks so good from all angles and I see it happening. The only problem might be that City will be looking for a striker as well.
At this point I really do not believe most of the news, it is just like "if haaland is on the market, we would like to know for how much" from every single team out there which realistically could afford him. I mean sure Liverpool will want to know how much he would be sold for, we all know it will not be 100 million pounds or less, but you do not get a player like him that easily, this guy is one of the two three players of his generation, mbappe and him and name another under 25 player at that level? Quite difficult.

So, teams will ask and "be interested" but in reality I am pretty sure that it will not be that easy, it looks like they may not be actually buying him, just doing a trick to learn his value and maybe offer something a bit less.
3615  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 22, 2021, 08:56:34 PM
It would also be interested to know how the people who did not attend college fared. There is a lot of questioning on the real value of college and university education as it is , AFAIK, a free market in the USA and therefore by mere economic theory it will tend to reach a point in which the investment in time, money , effort would tend to an equilibrium with the benefits of such education (nicer jobs, better pay, better lifetime value). Did people looking for job without any degree do any better?
Most of the time there is a "make or break" situation when you do not finish college. You either start a business and become either rich or bankrupt or maybe have both of them available because you could both get super rich and bankrupt later or bankrupt many times and get rich later on. Or you could become blue collar, become a mechanic, become a wood worker, become a factory worker if you want to, basically do jobs that are not just 9-5 office jobs and you could be doing fine over time as well.

So, when you are 20 years old and not finished college then you are not going to be rich most of the time, you are going to be starting out a career on something and only the future will tell you what could happen.
3616  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as enforcer of responsibility on: December 22, 2021, 08:18:30 PM
Your ideas all make sense, but one thing we must understand is that the government do not like individuals to have the sort of financial freedom Bitcoin offers, it's crazy, but that's just the fact, they prolly seem worried by the idea of Bitcoin changing the entire financial sphere and making individuals banks (cause you're your own bank in the network). Fiat currencies have been subjected to inflation and hyperinflation for quite a long time now, and that's why even institutional investors want to keep some of their reserve funds in the Bitcoin network; the advantages of Bitcoin absolutely outweighs it's cons, and the government knows that, but all they do is, use the media to spread negativity about Bitcoin.

Of course, there will continually be efforts by the government to discourage and dissuade people from using Bitcoin, they can try to ban it, but they know it'll only be futile, as for sanctions and regulations, they can only have an ephemeral effect on the network, after a while, everything goes back to normal, it's obvious Bitcoin is gearing and growing towards mass adoption, and that time the government will have no choice but to either leave it completely alone, or to join in the network.
To be honest, even though I live in a nation that is "little" dictatorial, not like north Korea nor china or something like that, not like many African nations with dictators, my life is decent compared to those but not as democratic as many west European nations neither. Even in a nation like that our government doesn't care about crypto and doesn't create laws against it and doesn't seem worried about it at all.

I am not saying that governments love it, but I do not think that they are worried about it neither. All they had to do would be put up some regulations, if you follow regulations then they will be in charge and if you do not follow regulations then you will be punished and that is it. I do not see any problems for governments in this regard, which is why I feel like there is nothing to worry about at all regarding this situation.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: December 22, 2021, 03:36:21 PM
I found a news that the Shiba Inu commuity is not happy with Elon Musk. $SHIB crashed after Musk revealed he didn’t own it and only had BTC, ETH and DOGE. Elon Musk has a Shiba Inu puppy at home. Elon Musk has joked about Shiba Inu, but Elon Musk doesn’t hodl Shiba Inu.

Replying to one of the many Shiba Inu accounts on Crypto Twitter, the famous Elon Musk confirmed that he didn’t own Shiba Inu, despite being a highly influential figure for that community.

I think this will have an effect with the Shiba price but not a big effect because Shiba is still at 0.000042$ at price even if Elon musk revealed he doesn't own Shiba what was your thoughts on this folks?
That’s their business whether they choose to be happy with Elon or not. They are expecting him to be buying up every coin there is in the market or what? Just because he posted a picture of a ShibaInu and they immediately assumed that he must be buying SHIB? Lol. They should have waited until he has said so for them to start making such assumptions.

Even if he did say anything about SHIB, as long as he has not yet said that he is investing in it, it’s not good to assume that he is. You better wait for him to say so. And since he has chosen not to be investing in, I don’t see any need for them not to be happy with him, it’s his own decision to make because it’s his money and nothing else.
3618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: December 22, 2021, 01:59:06 PM
I'm sure there are many of you participating in staking coins I have a question for you guys, I have this friend who built doge coin mining farm to get some coins and stake them the question is how good is staking? How much are you making in staking every month? I'm not seeing people talking about their staking rewards but miners are..
Staking is a real cool thing to do and a lot of people have been talking about it these days. And of course there is profit that can be made from staking – you can make as much as 5% to 20%, and sometimes 50%? And I mean per annum. It all goes down to the coin that you decide to stake. There is nothing like loss in staking, because what you’re doing is that you’re providing liquidity to whatever platform you have decide to choose in return for reward.

But, you can still lose money, the money you’re losing is not because you won’t get your reward, rather there can be an adverse movement in the price of the asset you’re staking. Take for example you’re going to be earning 20% for staking a particular asset, and the price of that asset drops 50%, that’s still a loss for you.
3619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 21, 2021, 09:15:27 PM
Juventus will definitely win against Cagliari, hell there are very few teams that may not be able to beat Cagliari in the league right now so it will not be a big problem at all. Atalanta will be playing Geno as well, another easy game. Honestly when you combine them together, you barely get 1.70 odds in most places, definitely not a great parlay but when you have something that is as nearly guaranteed as these two games, that is not a bad bet to have.

If you want to have a little bit of risk, if you wager both teams to have 2.5+ goal difference, which I am guessing 3-0 doesn't look so impossible, then it becomes 3.9 or so odds and that is not too bad. Definitely a lot riskier, so you could do the first one to cover both bets costs, then do the other freely.
3620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the dump in Bitcoin and most of the Altcoin? on: December 21, 2021, 06:10:56 PM
It is unfair to indicate the new mutant of covid as the reason for the market crash. Months back during the peak spread of COVID-19 cryptocurrency market was that progressive. By the time world markets were facing its hard times. So, the inflow of money have decreased due to several reasons.

Almost every December we'll be experiencing similar market scenario, and maybe something from an influencer could manipulate the market. If not I'm sure to experience slow and stabilized move for some time period.
I would say that covid is not unrelated at all, I agree that it is not the only reason but it is also not irrelevant to the drop neither. I know that 2017 was the year we had a peak in December but also there is a good fact that most of the time price gets lower whenever we get closer to holidays as well because people end up selling their crypto profits to have a good holiday period.

This in return means that we are getting closer to "bonus" payment period as well, not everyone gets bonus payments on 1st of January but there are plenty of jobs like brokers in wall street or affiliate marketing or any kinds of sales workers who get bonus depending on how well they did that year, all of that money usually goes back into investing and some of that reaches to bitcoin as well. That's where we could make all of these losses back very soon.
