I agree with the people who find the Ligue 1 not very intriguing. Because it is just a league dominated by PSG for years above all else.

However we are still able to watch really nice games between the other teams as well. Like games with many goals in it. Besides, I'm watching the league sometimes just for the sake of PSG's great trio of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar. When all of them are in the field and showing solid performances, the games are much more watchable. Apart from that, the boring part is that there is no proper title race between PSG and some other team most of the time.

It looks like this season is going to be really tough for Atletico Madrid. There is a huge drop in their performance these days. They have got only one win on the recent weeks. Simeone must be really frustrated with the recent results. They have already been eliminated in the Champions League as well and they aren't even in the Europa League.

All of these combined is a really big problem for the team. They were better than this in the previous season but something went wrong with them this season. Simeone might really think of leaving this team at the end of the season. They definitely need some big changes.

It was a usual game for PSG in the league. They got a too comfortable win despite Messi and Neymar's poor performances. Against teams like Auxerre, one of the trio is enough for PSG to get a decent win.

PSG have already started to relieve very much in the standings as well. I see that Lens are not far away from them but it would also happen in time. I don't think that they can do the same as Lille and make it to the title this season. There aren't the same mistakes made by PSG anymore. They are just focused on having as big gap as possible before their Bayern Munich games in the Champions League. They shouldn't have any problem about this as well.

I have noticed that Napoli haven't played against Juventus yet.

Maybe Juventus can be the first team to finally end their unbeaten streak in the league so far. Or actually Inter could do the same as well because Napoli's next game is going to be an away one against Inter. Napoli are going to play against these big teams in three weeks. There is a long time to think about the probable result of course. But I believe already that one of these teams will beat Napoli.

I also think that Ronaldo won't be in search of even the same level of his current salary in January. He just wants to leave at the earliest opportunity above all else. He is feeling really disappointed with Manchester United now. There have already been some serious problems between him and ten Hag. Things are heated even more these days.

Maybe Chelsea could be the number one contender to sign him in January. Because they are in need of a centre-forward as far as I can see.

Liverpool's condition is still quite worrying I'm afraid. Because they have been inconsistent for a long time and they are newly making things better in the league. They won against Tottenham and Southampton the last time to start a winning streak. But we don't know how strong they will return after the World Cup.

Somehow they had a big difficulty in performing at the same level with their performance in the Champions League. If they were able to do this then things would have been brighter for them now. But Klopp still has a long season ahead to think about a solution. Liverpool must be able to finish in top 4 at least.

The level of the Europa League has increased a lot after the teams from the Champions League have come here. It has got close to the Champions League I mean. There are really powerful teams in this round already. The number of favourites for the Europa League title has also increased quite much.

For now just as they are my favourite, Arsenal are the biggest title contender according to bookmakers. Barcelona and Manchester United follow respectively. I'd like to see Barcelona eliminating the Red Devils. And a finale like Arsenal - Barcelona would be amazing.

Freiburg and Leipzig's current situation in the league is quite familiar to me. Because we witnessed their nice competition on the last weeks of the previous season for the fourth position in the standings. Now they are doing the same for the second position.

To tell the truth, Leipzig have a better quality when we compare their squads. They have the potential to be more consistent unless they lose their concentration. Each one of them is competing in another European tournament so the conditions are equal. But I still think Leipzig are more likely to finish the season ahead of them. As for a title race I don't think so. Bayern Munich started to play as usual so it wouldn't be too hard to open a big gap with others for them.

Newcastle are an amazing team this season for certain. Especially their recent winning streak has carried them to the third position in the standings. They totally deserve to be ahead of Tottenham as well because of beating them 2-1 away before. I'm really excited about their future performances.

Because if they can become this much successful with an average level of squad now then I wonder what they can do with a squad full of very talented players. It is very important for them to qualify for the Champions League by finishing the season in top 4 now. Maybe it isn't easy but they have the strength for it.

There is nothing impossible for Juventus mathematically when it comes to winning the league title. But if we look at the situation from a logical aspect then we can say that it is too difficult for them to achieve it. Because Napoli are doing incredibly well even without a loss so far. Maybe this World Cup break might change something about them also depending on the injury list after that.

If we don't see anything changing then there is nearly no other way for any team to stop Napoli from reaching the title. They are already deserving it too much by an extraordinary effort. They have won many big games and proven themselves to be stronger than them already.

Frankfurt are doing very well despite losing two points against Mainz.

They are still at the fourth position in the standings. They are able to keep up a good work in the Bundesliga and Champions League both at the same time. Maybe they are too likely to be eliminated in the Champions League in the current stage. But they would still do their best against Napoli. After that they must be able to concentrate on the Bundesliga completely. If they become consistent who knows maybe they can finish the season in top 4. But it is just too early to talk about this maybe.

Marseille really did it. After an incredible rivalry between Monaco and them, they managed to get another important win by 3-2.

They had only two goal attempts in the second half and both of them ended up with goals. Especially the winning goal came in like the last minute. It was a really tough job for them to make a comeback from 1-2 for sure. But they really need these wins to recover no matter what. They won 2 big games in 2 weeks. They are still six points away from the second team in the standings maybe but the season is long. As long as Marseille keep up a good form they are still my favourite for that spot.

Juventus have increased their winning streak to six games now. It was such a great performance despite not having the most ball possession. They had so many goal attempts on target and crushed Lazio by 3-0 home. I was really surprised to see Lazio performing this much badly.

Actually I know that I shouldn't be this much surprised about them. Because there is a significant level of drop in their performance on the recent weeks. They lost points in some games because of this. They couldn't show much presence against Juventus which had many missing players.

I'm starting to believe in Arsenal to make it to the league title day by day. Manchester City's playing this much inconsistent recently has made things better for Arsenal. Arsenal are even more comfortable in the lead now by a gap of five points.

Manchester City are still a big favourite for the league title of course. But it is only on paper. The performances have shown lately that Arsenal are more likely to win the title for now. Team effort is the key for success and Arsenal are very good at it now. Despite Jesus' not scoring for a long time they are still not having big difficulties in winning games.

Something is going really wrong with Union Berlin these days. First they lost to Leverkusen which were newly recovering by a score like 5-0. This time they lost to Freiburg by 4-1. Their defense line is just terrible now. The penalty missed by Union Berlin must be the turning point for them. If they were able to make it 2-1 then maybe they wouldn't get a red card. But after conceding 2 goals early and missing a penalty, they were just hopeless. The red card finished them off later on.

I got wrong about Atalanta as it seems. I thought that they would get at least one point over Inter. But their performance in defense was really horrible. Two goals were due to the mistakes of the defense and goalkeeper. They need to get positive results in these big games. Because they are like a big source of morale to start recovering.

Atalanta were doing better than this at first times last season. But this time they started a bad form much earlier. We are still not in the middle of the season mathematically though so maybe this time things will be better for them in the later stages of the season. It is doubtful if they can stay in the title race though.

Things haven't been going well for Ajax and PSV in the recent times. Especially Ajax couldn't get even one win for three weeks in the league. Emmen were like one of the easiest matchups for them but it ended up with an absurd result like 3-3. Despite getting 3-1 ahead somehow Ajax couldn't prevent a comeback by their opponent.

This was AZ's fourth away win in a row against PSV in the league by the way. They won three times before this one and they had a nice mental advantage due to that. They were having a good season too so PSV needed to watch out for them. But they still lost another home game against them.

Alejandro Garnacho was the savior of the match for Manchester United. They had a really huge problem against Fulham and it was just as my expectation. Because Fulham were having a really good season and it was really difficult to stop them for Manchester United in an away game.

However the Red Devils still reached their goal by a hard-fought win like 2-1. Garnacho's goal came in the last moments. It was really looking like a draw game honestly. But suddenly they had a big opportunity and scored it. After the Aston Villa loss this was really needed for them.

Some news sources started to write like Mbappe wants to make history with PSG rather than leaving the team in the future to win the Champions League.

If I had such contract I guess I would say the same things as well.    He is already making insane amount of money here. There is no reason for him to leave as long as things don't go too bad among him and Messi-Neymar duo. I don't think that any other team would like to offer even the same contract to Mbappe now. PSG were just ready to do their best to keep him here and they did. Let's see what the future brings us about this topic. I still think that he might leave anyway if they don't win the Champions League title for a long time.

Juventus - Lazio is a pretty interesting game tomorrow. These are teams in a great form these days. Lazio might seem to have some advantage due to the many missing players at Juventus. However Juventus are favoured for the win anyway. Because their recent form is very impressive despite this situation.

Juventus haven't lost any home game yet but it is the same for Lazio when it comes to away games as well. Lazio couldn't defeat Juventus away in the league for five years. It feels like Juventus will get another win. I expect a very competitive game though. Both teams should be able to score so my first betting choice is this.
