3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain courses? on: December 27, 2019, 07:25:45 AM
Some online courses are available at

1. https://www.switchup.org/subjects/how-to-learn-blockchain-and-crypto
2. https://www.howtotoken.com/career/top-10-courses-for-blockchain-developers-recommended-by-experts/

Go check them out. I know there are more but you can search them on the internet.

I'm not a developer but I read a suggestion in our local board that if you are planning to become a developer, you need to know the foundation first (Logic & Syntax) before you go to more complex stuff.
3684  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BCNEX - Scam Alert! on: December 27, 2019, 06:38:17 AM
Your account is capable of posting images, post the screenshots here.

Funds were withdrawn from him.

Random men YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mgoeyy_1ng
4:30 - They have one wallet:  0x503b444a2b2d95b501c78d99d2302c75154e0e1d
That's not the youtuber's wallet. The guy is just withdrawing from the BCNEX eth wallet (0x503b444a2b2d95b501c78d99d2302c75154e0e1d) to his own wallet.

The support team on telegram doesn't seem to know the reason for the pending withdrawals as well and keeps pointing to their "technical team". They also have this to say about their wallet balance:
As other exchange, we not store all tokens in one wallet. It is for the safety of users assest.
Tokens are being allocated in many wallets (including hot & cold wallets)

3685  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 27, 2019, 04:35:13 AM
@OP you can add "reading" in the title as well - "I enjoy reading and posting on bitcointalk"

You kind of remind me of the post I made last year. It's quite unfortunate that many users here fail to realize the purpose of this forum.
3686  Economy / Reputation / Re: Roobet.com is NOT honest casino on: December 27, 2019, 04:05:19 AM

If we did not make a clear announcement of the giveaway rule before the draw, then I would understand further to the point to give proper compensation to sed individual, but the rule was posted before the draw.
When you announced the giveaway, you should have set the rules at the time of announcement and not before the draw. You tricked people like OP to join your discord community and create a roobet account.

3687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It can be done (from member to hero) on: December 27, 2019, 03:20:54 AM
@Zionatin your post history tells us that you often comment on the two most active boards as pointed out by DdmrDdmr. You may be right that there are selfish people but there are also some who are distributing smerits. Two most notable members who does that are tk808 and CryptopreneurBrainboss but even they can't keep up with the number of posts that is why they have to make their own merit giveaway threads to make it easier for them (tk808 thread, CryptopreneurBrainboss thread).

I don't post in the most popular threads to is it to my disadvantage etc etc

What do you mean by most popular threads? From your post history, you have been commenting on threads with multiple pages of replies already. I think that's another reason why you don't get merited. Your comments may be good but it's probably redundant. There could be more than five users who have said the same thing in the previous comments which is often the case in Altcoin & Bitcoin boards.
3688  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Pangkalahatang-Ideya sa mga Browser. Alin ang dapat na gamitin? on: December 26, 2019, 10:11:22 AM
I'm using Firefox and Brave.

Naintindihan ko kung bakit nagbago ang opinyon ni OP (bitmover) tungkol sa paggamit ng brave browser. As a long time user din, I have no issues with the browser dahil andun pa din naman yung data privacy mo. You are not forced to use the brave wallet kung ayaw mo at kung wala ka naman pakialam sa brave rewards program nila, hindi mo kailangan alalahanin ang KYC.

Tanong ko kay @criza, what's your personal opinyon on brave the browser? Ginagamit mo ba?

ang kyc para sa brave ay para lang sa mga website owners na gusto e receive ang kanilang payouts, sa mga regular user ay hindi ito problema,
~
Not just website owners but anyone who would use the the Brave wallet AND withdraw BAT. Those who would deposit funds beyond $600 are also required to comply.
3689  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 26, 2019, 09:55:39 AM
I believe the response he got have said it all, the UID said "disabled for inactivity" but i did some few search on their previous campaign back in the year 2016 and most of their campaign participants which have such inactivity respond are kicked out of the campaign either for inactivity or poor post which is why i checked your post history and i confirm that you much a one-liner poster.
But it's different this time, yahoo controls who gets kicks out from the campaign for post quality. Looking at the list of banned participants, aardvark15 isn't there yet.

~
Still, it would be very nice and welcome if Yobit added a button to the panel with which we could force the bot to check our post counts, say, once every hour (to prevent abusing the button). Even being able to use this button once a day could help us better understand where we stand

What do you guys think?
I would welcome that option. If that's not possible, they could configure the bot to count post every one or two hours.

Baka gusto mo palitan o i-update? Sana naintindihan mo yung paksa bago mo na-translate.

Did I not change to the new one quickly enough?  I didn't even know about the new one until tonight.
It could be. Was your yobit account still active before you changed your signature? And when was the last time your post was counted?
3692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The True Decentralized Exchange on: December 26, 2019, 04:52:52 AM
I believe that any DEX which requires KYC verification is not as it claims to be. Remember CryptoBridge exchange? This claimed to be a decentralized exchange only to require ID verification thereafter. Its business model failed to a point where now the exchange is closing its doors to everyone. This tells us that a decentralized exchange will work best without the need to rely on centralized technologies or infrastructure.
IDEX also has this KYC verification thing when withdrawing/trading larger amounts. I don't know how many users they lost for implementing that but I assume it's a lot.

Until then, we'll continue to experience so called "decentralized exchanges" that are more hype than anything else. As long as people don't care about decentralization, we'll continue to see a lack of interest within mainstream developers in making a truly decentralized exchange like Block DX. This is what we truly need in order to maintain the decentralization of the whole crypto ecosystem........If people continue to use centralized services more than decentralized ones, then I'm afraid that decentralized exchanges will continue to suffer from low liquidity for a long time.

~
In the end, it's all about censorship-resistance instead of user-friendliness or high performance.

Yeah, many of us here don't get it.
It's funny that we complain about volume on DEXs while we only wait & watch for volume to increase.
It's also funny how we talk a lot about security, privacy, and anonymity but a UI/UX would prevent us from using DEX.
3693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] YouTube Is Censoring Crypto Content, Channel Owners Say on: December 26, 2019, 04:13:13 AM
Scammers have been very active on youtube lately with their fake giveaways and most, if not all, of them have been massively reported (some channels were listed here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198456.0) They could be one of the reason why some "influencers" videos related to crypto were taken down.

3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Under supervision, do you think that anonymous coins have a future? on: December 26, 2019, 03:58:34 AM
It's still Christmas in some parts of the world so Merry Christmas.

About the "cryptocurrencies are about to be brought under government supervision", are you referring to the FATF travel rule? It's the latest attempt by authorities to "regulate" the crypto market by requiring crypto exchanges collect and record customer information related to crypto transactions. I've opened a discussion about this before and you can read it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5186577

Do you think that anonymous coins have a future in this case?
The FATF rule forced some exchanges to delist anonymous and privacy coins but that didn't stop these coins from getting listed in other exchanges. The way I see this now, the demand for coins like Monero will increase as the government tries to regulate the entire crypto market.
3695  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Borrow ETH with no Interest. on: December 25, 2019, 08:07:09 AM
san po mangagaling ang funds ng pool?

Walang pooled funds. Personal na Eth ni OP yung ipapautang
~

3696  Other / Meta / Re: [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot on: December 25, 2019, 07:51:55 AM
I was quoted twice in this post but I didn't get a notification for that (only the first). Is that a limitation?
3697  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 25, 2019, 07:26:23 AM
Do you really need an update from every user?
No. I was only interested in iamaruf's case because I'm certain that he removed the cryptotalk signature yesterday but wasn't kicked out as he claims. I'm not sure if text knew that before he responded so I asked.
3698  Other / Meta / Re: What if Theymos added new Rank after Legendary? on: December 25, 2019, 07:13:23 AM
If we add Mythical, I am worried that it will cause noise and jealousy. Finally, it will lead to another drama among high-rank members.
From what I can tell most high ranking members enjoy seeing others achieve these feats. I can't think of anyone [who doesn't already] who would cause drama or be jealous of others achieving this.
Those in signature campaigns perhaps. A new/higher rank could alter the payment rates in all or most campaigns. Legendary members who received little/zero merit/s might complain to the changes because they will find it hard to rank up and will no longer enjoy the highest rates/stakes.
3699  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 25, 2019, 07:00:07 AM
Though,Yobit didn't removed me from signature. Now again I changed my signature. This sig texts look likes ok.Thank you Yahoo.
Interesting that you weren't kicked out by the bot. Can you confirm if you are still getting paid after you wore the new signature?
Yeah, I'm confirming that I am still getting paid after wearing this latest signature code.
You removed the Cryptotalk signature yesterday like what iamaruf did before wearing the airdrop signature?
