381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 23, 2020, 05:45:42 PM
And now the price is $ 8,382 to buy and sell at $ 9100 and I think this will return to the price that bitcoin will touch.
This is a correction for me to think about and analyze where bitcoin will move to buy now or we have to wait first.

Is there any strong reason to sell at 9,1K? Or it is just because you have seen Bitcoin touched 9,1K before went back down to 8,3K?

Because, it couldn't happen again if Bitcoin price starts to go up (from the current price)
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 23, 2020, 05:25:46 PM
Bitcoin price just go down today after it breaks its support of $8500, so I guess you need to wait for some time and need the market price to stabilize before getting in.  There might be some panic seller after they saw the price go down so there is a possibility that the price will even go lower in the next days.

Just to get back on the OP topic. He (OP) is trying to have long-term investment (holding). In this case, chart or daily price changes shouldn't be a big matter for him. He shouldn't need to wait the price to go lower, cause the main point is only to take profit by the end of his long-term plan.

Even though, buying at lower price is better cause he can get more Bitcoin, it's just not the main point. He could wait more time but if he doesn't really know when to buy, that would just ruin his long-term plan.

385  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on the highest /lowest value of bitcoin in 2020? on: January 22, 2020, 12:20:34 PM
Hey guys, what u think? Will bitcoin go up to the new record or Will go down? Its better to buy now and hold or wait?

For this year, I don't think Bitcoin will touch a new all-time high but I do believe at least after halving the price will slightly go up and there will be positive trends. For the next year, I do believe the price will continue to increase, much faster than this year but let's see there could be a new ATH.

For now, I would HODL. Ideally you bought some last year when the price is very low and sell by the end of next year. But for short term trade, I have no comment.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: US-Iran conflict is the answer on: January 22, 2020, 12:01:41 PM
I hold the same opinion, the growth of bitcoin is happening because of its own and unique circumstances but at the same time there seemed to be an effect on bitcoin as soon as the news about a new possible conflict came and this is interesting because this means that some people decided to use bitcoin as a store of value, even if they were not a lot of people this is good since it means that bitcoin is slowly gaining influence despite the efforts of the governments that this does not take place.

The conflict between Iran-USA is no longer sweet for Bitcoin price speculation, we can say enough for that and I agree with you that the current movement is because of Bitcoin's fundamental side which isn't affected by other things outside its economic model.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 22, 2020, 11:15:47 AM
There is nothing to panic about the bots dominating the market because as long as you know how to read the candlestick chart and you know how to read the patterns and interpret them into a decision making factor then you will be all good in the field. Bots are created because they have strategy in their mind and that is what you should also do, you should have a strategy in your mind and execute it manually so you will be more skillful than them.

Knowledge isn't the only problem in this regard, but also time. You can't outrun bot speed in term of trade execution. But I agree that no need to panic cause human is smarter and wiser than bots.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 22, 2020, 10:44:18 AM
You can buy bitcoin now if you have some money for your daily needs. Don't spend all your money on investments because you also have to be able to manage your money for daily needs.

Nobody needs this kind of advice cause without you suggest so, they will always consider their daily expenses before allocating their money for investment. Well, unless they are crazy and stupid!
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 21, 2020, 02:24:47 PM
I did  buy in bitcoin over a month ago 7k the plan is  to be a long-term hold.  Now I have about 20% more to buy in with, with the prices so high and everything I was going to buy some Altcoins Mainly Ethereum Or more bitcoin.
This Is the hard part of my plan trying to figure out should I just hold onto the cash in my account and see what the prices do?

If you are doing a long-term trading (or investment) you shouldn't care when you should buy Bitcoin, I mean you can buy now and you don't need to feel stupid or anything bad if the price goes down for a while cause people believe Bitcoin price will be increasing in this year.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 21, 2020, 02:01:51 PM
If you are long term holder for bitcoin then you are smart but the market is filled with thousands of shit coins and token projects which are worthless and if you invest in those during the initial phase and did not bother to sell of when you hit the profit then you are going to be the bag holder. So where you invest makes a huge difference.

It is just them same as holding Bitcoin. If you are late to sell, you won't get anything but loss so I don't think you are smart just because you hold bitcoin for a long term. You are smart if you know when to sell and when to buy, cause the purpose of investment is to take a profit not just to see your portofolio stats increase.

And even there are many people believe Bitcoin price will go to the moon one day, it is now just speculation so it would be better if you can make money during the journey to the moon.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KBC scam ? on: January 21, 2020, 01:40:28 PM
Hi guys KBC dumped from 250 sat to 60 sat do u think its scam ?
https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/currencies/karatgold-coin/markets/
it have a good rank in coinmarketcap and a lot of investors

There are lots of reports and warning about this project, I think it is enough to put a red flag on this one. But, in trading you can even make money from shitcoin so if you are going to hold or buy more, I wouldn't stop you but please understand the risk and manage it properly.
392  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The Gem Hunters on: January 21, 2020, 01:24:07 PM
You are three years old in this area, bitcoin is ten years old and it also needed ten years for you to join the oldest crypto forum, how could you say yours is one of the oldest crypto community?
Iv edited the message, as we were a nano/low cap group and in that sector we are one of the oldest consistent active groups. Its a small space compared to the life time of bitcoin etc, cheers

This one is better. I have checked the telegram groupchat and it is undoubtedly active community so good luck for the hunt of your gems!

394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 smart ways to bet on the upcoming bitcoin halvening with options on: January 20, 2020, 03:29:57 PM
2. Protect your crypto portfolio from potential halvening REKT

I read about this one in the mentioned link, do you mean that halving event could lead the price down and Bitcoin holders are in risk?

This is basically suggesting people to take more risk (in option trading) to fight halving risk (the price changes because of halving).
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 20, 2020, 03:07:39 PM
I agree that saving is way harder than earning (my past trading experience always tells me so)

Sometimes we deeply understand the risk, but just don't really care about it and not manage the risk properly and when the bad time comes, we don't earn enough anymore and start losing capital.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 20, 2020, 02:39:25 PM
I think this speculation can not hold any tangible fact based on the upcoming halving and the movement of BTC now, I can see everything is turning bullish for BTC and we might likely touch the $10,200 range after this minor correction

I was hoping the same price yesterday but after re-check the chart and see it went back from above 9K to below 9K I can't say we will easily see Bitcoin over $10,000. However, to down to 5K USD is quiet impossible for now.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My personal challenge: $1,000 to $1 Million on: January 20, 2020, 02:07:49 PM
It must have been my post then.

Things were not proper and I changed the bad parts of the site after the feedback.

Back then I tried to explain and convey that I am not promoting or whatever anything but I agree the page was not great for that. I did apologize for the misunderstanding too.

The page will remain as it is (unless I get feedback that I should change something again), all I will do is update with results.
Actually I removed the email address, that should prove further my good faith, I hope.

I just wanted people to root for me and see it can be done (if I manage to do it ofc)

I would love to watch you doing the challenge alone, with your own capital, without any other's capital in your account so I can see the pure result on it.
398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinomia Casino - New Online Casino! (available cryptocurrencies) on: January 20, 2020, 01:50:13 PM
In the above paragraph, you said the minimum deposit is $10, is that for a 100% deposit bonus?

He said 10 Euros for the first bonus, that's common marketing strategy I guess. I have checked the site and minimum deposit is 5 Euros for any available methods while the minimum withdrawal is 10 Euros for crypto, 20 Euros for other methods and 100 Euros for bank transfer.

Here it is : https://casinomia.com/en/payments
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hypocrisy Behind Facebook Banning Crypto Ads on: January 19, 2020, 04:58:38 PM
However, the ban at least can hinder scam projects from getting people's money, especially those who don't really understand about cryptocurrency.

For me it's more to save their users from falling to scam than becoming hypocrite.

Are you sure you aren't promoting anything?

I have ever seen a thread exactly the same with this and trying to lure people to invest in order to join the challenge.
