381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: February 27, 2018, 02:13:56 PM
Our country just recently held a seminar introducing bitcoin in our country. The said seminar were facilitated
by bitcoin experts and government officials in pursuit of using bitcoin as another form of payment and regulation of it as well.

http://www.wheninmanila.com/5-things-i-learned-about-bitcoin-and-cryptocurrency/
That’s a welcome development when the government start to recognizes crypto currency and even sponsored seminar  about regulation. The regulation is only implies to the operator to the currency changer so that they will be protected againts unscropolous users that would take advantage of being anonymous and decentralized.

382  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: February 27, 2018, 01:14:29 PM
Your points are very clear and well articulated. That's some of the basic truths in ICOs that are still unknown to some persons, especially the newbies. But on the other hand, when you get a good ICO to invest in, it is always a thing of joy. Especially projects that have a prototype of their working product and those ones promising things that are so abstract.
I think that your verdict about ICO is to generalized in fact not all of the ICO s are under performing in fact there are also ICO who do well  and many are benefited
Specially those ICO who’s working product are good,it is not about profit why I’m supporting ICO it about innovation there are working product that worth investing like about environment using renewable energy. Aside from profit  lets us think of usefulness of the working product that worth support.

383  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 26, 2018, 12:54:41 PM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?
yes I actually do. Bitcoin is a good investment, it is a good idea to save today for my childrens future while I still have a chance to invest in bitcoin. Profits in bitcoin is a good savings for the future. I can even teach my kids on how to become a bitcoiners for them to have knowledge in bitcoin.
Yes,we should.Thingking about your future is like a investment, if you dont have goal on how will you operate your money,or you dont have plan about it, is just like a person with no dreams.Thingking about your future was a way to be a better person.Thingking about your future was thingking about  how will you be a succesful one.Thingking about you future is just like making goal on how will manage your life.We should always think our future so that we can do on what we want in our life, just like bitcoin they are thingking our future because they giving a big oppurtunity to us.
I agree on that everyone of us really think about the future. And I think we must think about the future and do some action today in preparation of the near future . Maybe the correct used of today is the best preparation of the near future that is why we are now doing things that is really productive to gain huge amount of profit  for the near future, in short we are all care about the future.
Yeah as a person we should always think the future of our family specially the education of our children. We invest what ever we think what is good for  the future of our children like educational plan of children and another form of insurance policy hoping that when the time come we have enough funding. But investing Insurance is not 100% sure that when the time come you can get what you’ve expected because there are lot of insurance company that simply vanish because of bunkcrupcy
In that case your investment will also vanish, because you are not in control you can do nothing. But if you invest Bitcoin you are in control of your investment.

384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in bitcoin if you don't know anything about it on: February 26, 2018, 10:10:33 AM
Yes , that is good idea if you are not knowing anything about any product or currency then you don't need to invest there because you can face huge problems including huge loss. So wise idea is that you need to get full information about bitcoin and then also get some experience with working with bitcoin then you need to go to investing.

Investing is good, but when deciding to undergo into something you really don't know, well it is such a beating of your head. It is better to have a full of knowledge about it. I suggested you to do some research about many topics regarding to this. Take note. Regret is always in the end. Having assurance is much better. This is money involve so it's good to you to be careful in making your decision.
You cannot blame people who Invest even with out ample knowledge specially those who leaving in country side were limited information reaches to them. As long as they know that they earn out of investing , because in their mind set they believed that investing is just like gambling. But good thing about investing is has higher return of investment .good thing also that there is bitcoin that accessible for the common people.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: February 23, 2018, 10:55:00 PM
In my opinion, I would choose Full time crypto, because in crypto you have a good future and in short period of time you have already earn profit and savings. Even if we can't predict what will happen next, but we believe and trust on bitcoin. If we compare in real job we have no savings and we don't get profit. But if we work on Crypto we have a chance that we have earn a lot of profit.
Yes but currently that is the issue, there is a chance for that to happen but it is not a sure thing, I do not know how things are in your country but in my country it can be difficult to find a job, if you get fired or you quit it is  not rare to be looking for a job for some months that is why most people never quit their jobs unless they already got one locked down elsewhere.
If you really want a full time crytpto currency job I think it is more profitable than ordinary job, but for stability and benefits ordinary job is quite secure. Its really defend in your prerogative if you want flex time and no boss that will watch you every hour and targets to be meet. Crypto job is right job for you. But you should make sure that you are mentally ready and finacially ready before you start your crypto job.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 02:57:51 PM
after buying bitcoin I started to be a little patient for some time and hold it because I hope that the price will go up and I will get a good profit but it takes a lot of patience to get satisfactory results Wink
The only thing you can do with your bitcoin is to hold until such time that price will goes up you can cash out. But it’s a better idea to longer since those we all know those  who hold for 3 years were able to gain much more when the price
Just read some impormative forum that would  tell what are good investment
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: February 23, 2018, 02:28:47 PM
Of course, this can be considered a panic because your money you invested in bitcoin decreases, but it should not succumb to it and it is better to have patience and wait this period with falling prices
No not at all it is not good to even think about selling or to get panic your bitcoin, there is no need to panic or specially at this time when price is low and it is at steers to get high, as we can see gradually it is increasing now, if you notice the present condition of bitcoin we will find bitcoin price going high every day. It is not the permanent drop as bitcoin has the potential to overcome this price fall in few months.

I am sure bitcoin will get its old position like it had at the end of 2017 and price will cross 30k dollars very soon, so have patience and never think to sell it even if the price is getting low, because it use to increase and decrease all the time try to buy more when you see price is low.
Yeah when the price of bitcoin goes down it is not appropriate to get panic and dump immediately because if you do so then you add on the situation and also might also end up deficit you sell lower than the price as the price you bought it.
The best thing should posses when you into bitcoin or any crypto currency you know how to read the pulse of the price before you buy and sell.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what if bounty manager for signature campaign gives you merit on: February 23, 2018, 01:29:47 PM
i just thinking what if those bounty manager of signature campaign gives merit to their participants, it will help each other the bounty will be advertise and the participants can have merit that requires to rank up, its a little bit harder to being ranked up.
This is NOT a good idea. I personally would be thankful if another member sees me worthy of a merit. But suggesting for campaign managers to give out merits to their participants is inappropriate. Once campaign managers starts giving out merits to participants, every other participant will surely ask or even demand that they be given merits as well. Why? Because they would see it to be bias and unfair. Their argument would be, "Hey! I’m also promoting the
same project! Why shouldn’t I get a merit?!" Now this will just be a big headache for the manager considering the # of participants that will be bugging him for merits. Also, do take note that asking or demanding for merits will most probably be counted as begging for merits which many of the high ranking members easily gets annoyed with. Now anyone can be tagged for doing this. Merit begging is a big no no!
I think if the bounty manager will be the one to give merit it is more appropriate since he will be the one to judge whom among his participant are doing well who give his best during the campaign who give constructive post and having sense and convince the reading public and the campaign manager prerogative to whom he will give his merit or to rank individual.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: February 23, 2018, 12:45:25 PM
There are many people that can hold bitcoin for more than 3 years and I'm also one of them. I can't promise that holding the original amount since the beginning will remain but I'm doing my best to add when I have spare money and when I'm about to cash it out, I'm also returning it if there's a chance. I'm a long term holder so this is an easy decision.
Yeah because they considered bitcoin as an asset and believe that someday it more valuable. Those people able to hold bitcoin that long is now reaping their fruit of patience. Those people of course considered it a long time investment that’s why they can afford to hold that long. And also considered a precious entity like gold or diamond that the value never devaluate.

390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: February 23, 2018, 11:20:21 AM
I don't think I can fault anyone with a dream from pursuing their dream, but to me most pf these guys to want to be in control and incharge of the fiancing but it is not their fault if people keep giving out their money at will to any project without thinking twice if the project can duely delivere
Quote

[/Since crypto currency is decentralized there is no control to create a coin as long as the purpose is to acquire fund to produce a good functional product that would enhance the living standard of mankind and aside from that creating currency will also fave the way of stopping un even distribution of wealth because it make everyone to participate if they wanted. But for those unscropolous people they use to acquire money as a scam. These should be role of the government how to finalized this kind people.

391  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 23, 2018, 10:26:08 AM
Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?
In some cases it helps to minimize the corruption. And it all based to the people who are valuing the money. We need to to know how important money and used it in a good way of living . Dont just try to used for illegal thing or some politician who used ot for corruption dont do the same thing to make our world better.
Corruption will always exist in every organization, government, and even some company it still exist . But corruption will exist in many form it maybe in form monetary some will ask you favor in return of some position in the govenment  or in the company. Worst thing of corruption is since it not in the process of proper selection it might as will put not a right person in a right position. Usually corruption exist prosper by the used of money .bitcoin can help money trail in case of investagation .
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: February 22, 2018, 02:28:34 PM
If I have a lot of money I think that I choose from the very first is to help my family there I'm happy, donate some money in charty also. When a person goes over money is going to just go over something like spending money on women gambling maybe drugs. So for me on such things as giving charity and orphanages is great to help in this way it has helped make the economy grow. When it comes to teaching children and relatives about digital currency you will be greatly contributing to the cryptocurrency world.
When a person become wealthy and rich, social responsibility should follow. There is a big responsibility for them as a member of a larger institution. This is where education and ethical standards must be strictly followed. Maintaining wealth will involved marketing strategy, like putting up a business while doing bitcoin at the same time. When you already reach your goal to have financial freedom, share it to others and involved your self in helping charity institutions. Make your self a productive citizen of the country.

I quite agree with this, in fact before donating in some charity institutions why won't you start first by giving food for the homeless. I have spread some knowledge of bitcoin and some cryptocurrencies to my family and close friends and I really feel like it is my responsibility to tell them so in a way I am starting to help make the country productive. Once you get wealthy with cryptos or through digital currencies it is your social responsibility to spread the word to those who are interested and are willing to be successful in life.
Being rich with and to want to share with others is good virtue being social responsible and helping others is not enough when you just give material things or money will just make a person stubborn because person should learn to earn money if what you learn from bitcoin or crypto currency should be shared so that others may live comfortable in life
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins are in red again ?? on: February 22, 2018, 09:10:25 AM
Again today in red. But I don't panic noone should.
It will be back in green for sure.

how come  you can be "sure" Huh at least say that it is your prediction

noone can know it, people makes predictions that is all

for long term; whether btc goes up or down, it doesnt matter. good altcoins with a usefull working product will go up

Yeah you got it mate working product really matter at all when you are investing an ICO with good working product even if it is green or red that ICO will surely prosper .when you are investing ICO with working product it seem that you are involved in the capitalization of the product once the product will in into the market and will get profit 30% of it will go back to the ICO holder and make jt more valuable .

Yeah you got the point mate working product it is essential to select and ICO but the important is to determine if its really a true or profitable working product and you also learn how to trade your coin and you also know when to trade your coin base on the

selling price  and the  market performance  to be come more profitable.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 22, 2018, 08:32:10 AM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
I just collect most of my information about bitcoin through bitcointalk and from the past few weeks i just never came across a good news regarding bitcoin. I agree with you that people should focus more on the positive side and spread some positive, true, good and informative news, so that unnecessary panic is avoided.

But it's so good to ride with the flow since actually fuds are also means for us to earn, and if you study or research it the fuds that create dumps happening before you may find out that you can earn with that fuds spreading event. And thinking positive is sometimes not helpful in some other cause since I'm sure you will baghold what you have if you didn't came and defy the negatives side coming on it on future times.
If you are not a trader and you are not sure of the position to ride with the flow, then you are better off holding. So many people in the past have ridden with the flow of bitcoin not even passing $1000 and they ended up buying at the peak while waiting for the $1000 they never ended up seeing. If you cannot follow trend, then you should not bother yourself trying to gamble your position in the market. Best to stick with long term position.
Yeah there are lot of expeculation that bitcoin will ended worse but for several years back we haven’t any worse outcome although it don’t follow close with trend but it end up positive so if you are an avid bitcoin users it is not difficult for you to follow the flow since you are already know what will happen next when its in the down stream next thing to happen will be climbing up high.

395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy when market is Red on: February 21, 2018, 02:15:43 PM
Buy when market is Red, a trick to successful trading. Also dont put buy orders ahead of time.

it is true but not application in some coins. you need also to know which coin you need to buy . the flow of the prices of that coins in previous weeks or days. you all need to do that. But it is good to buy when in red because it will go up again soon.
Yeah but also be carefull on your investment because there are many scammers that wanted to earn with out effort. It’s a good idea that you should invest while the price is red because while the price is low you  can buy more and earn more.

396  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: February 21, 2018, 01:41:10 PM
I think we've gone too far with some countries thinking they are better than other countries because of their wealth, before we can all unite on a financial front we need to eliminate many of the things that keep us apart, for example how can we have so many people starving and dying in parts of the world while the rest of the world sits by and allows it to happen.

I know it's exciting to see someone put a Tesla into space but if we could give every human an equal footing wouldn't that be more exciting?

As basic as this example is, it is just one of the things that need to be sorted out before we can unite globally.

Although, maybe if everyone did operate with one currency then we could help these countries out as there would no longer be pressure on those countries with more wealth to put more into these situations as we would all be on the same level.

Who knows, but for us to work on anything at a global level there needs to be drastic changes to the way we operate and think, perhaps bitcoin and cryptocurrency is the start of this.
In our time to make one currency world is quite challenging knowing the fact that there are nation who wants dominance to other nation that is why their currency should be recognizes  and they don’t want the world has only one currency. That is why some nation againts bitcoin because it has no boundaries  .

397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: February 21, 2018, 01:01:37 PM
I don't think it will die. We are talking about global P2P networks. Governments can make as much regulations as they want but they do not have the means to enforce those rules and regulations without investing into a huge "global coin surveillance network" or seriously interfering with basic human rights. The only thing what they can regulate is cashing out for fiat.
That's their only possible tool against bitcoin, together with banks, governments can ban the access to exchanges where people can buy/sell bitcoins. This is a kind of 'last chance' for them in my opinion, first governments will try to tax the profit coming from bitcoin related transactions. If they can't identify the tax payers effectively, then they can force exchanges to verify the users and share their data to the national tax authorities. If everything goes wrong, they can freeze the account of the exchanges to prevent them using fiat.
Despite of the above mentioned things, authorities cannot stop cashing out from bitcoin to fiat but they can make it to be a real pain and risky (using localbitcoins only and meet with the seller/buyer in shady environment... etc...) This is the situation where the Lightning network cannot solve the situation (if they ban bitcoin totally, but I don't expect this, as governments can have huge incomes from taxes in connection with bitcoin, so it's not their interest to stop taxing and just ban the whole thing).

Yeah doesn’t just stop by means of government regulation or just banning bitcoin in certain government like China
in the first place bitcoin are not using government infrastructure and the transaction is p2p no third party involvement Bitcoin is run by its own technology and bitcoin are run by the people who patronized it you cannot stop people using it on their own well and can you imagine how many citezen in a certain country patronizes bitcoin if you ban it with out considering the welfare of the users it would create a economic tormoil.

398  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2018, 09:54:03 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
I know that most of us are now depending to the bitcoin because bitcoin became our sources of income. I am using the 60% of the money that I earned from the bitcoin to pay all of my liabilities and also my daily expenses. I am using the other 40% of the money to improve my business.
Yeah usually if you ask people how do you spend your money that you get from Bitcoin the answer usually they saved it for the future this a good manifestation having a financial education knowledge. But for me if have enough money from bitcoin. I will give my self a reward like vacation in other places that you used to wish before and buy things that you wanted to have before because life is short having opportunity to earn much is just only once come in your life.

399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: February 20, 2018, 09:04:49 AM
Bitcoin concept is really great. That is why it's community continues to grow. But if we are going to use Bitcoin as a normal payment system today, I guess it wouldn't be effective and efficient now. Sending money instantly is one of the important things we need today. That is why technology is getting advance every day. In the case of Bitcoin's network today, I think we cannot achieve that instantly sending and receiving. So It depends on how the developer team will fix and improve the technical issues of Bitcoin. The future of Bitcoin lies on its platform itself. If it can possibly achieve what its objective, then many will use it.
In term of payment I think there is no problem since block chain technology is reliable on that in fact in our country put some policy to protect users and operators our central bank is really appreciate BTC for being fast and economical in terms of remittances. The problem I have in terms of payment is the re alignment to some establishment in terms infrastructure and the volatality of bitcoin that would change prices every now and then.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: February 19, 2018, 01:09:17 PM
I think volatile is good if we are daily trader. Depending on our trading style. But I am prefer hold for long on my investment so I am not distracted with high volatile
Volatality is also part of the identity of bitcoin since it was created decentralized and nobody control the  price of bitcoin the volatality of bitcoin is the effect law of supply and demand since the quantity of bitcoin is limited only to the market cap if there a investors who suddenly dump when there are negative propaganda againts BTC the price suddenly down. But since there are also investors who are craving for a lower price they will take  the opportunity to buy so suddenly the price will go up high again. Thats why it is volatile.7
