381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 23, 2020, 05:41:03 PM
As much as I wanted for sports or the NBA to get back again to be specific I rather watch replays. Well, we can't bet though as the game were alreay done and decided, and it is easier to search who won in the internet. It is just sad but that's how I cope with my feelings on missing them to play again and bet something on the line specially with my favorite player. Athough, I saw some rumors that there will be a game soon I don't feel much excited about, and I rather want to see it continue when this life-threatening crisis would clear off around the world a fortiori in US since, they have the most number of cases, and the league held there.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: April 23, 2020, 01:46:52 AM
I have been playing the traditional gambling games but i have observed that crash game is more risky than the other gambling games. I always feel more greedy while playing a crash game and this make me lose more money. I think i have lost more money in crash games than any other game.

What is your observation on this  and do you prefer other gambling games over the crash games ?

Whatever the game is if you can't properly behave might as well consider losing money as a norm. It is not about what game is riskier, although the approach here is quite fast and the other one is quite slow still the common thing is you lose and that's it. However if you'll be cautious, and wary everytime you bet or more over spend money in any kind of game, believe me, you won't feel the same way ever again. On the other hand, winning or the profit you get in gambling doesn't depend on what kind of a game you play as well. Hence, it will always be on someone's behavior on how much of a loss and/or profit he/she will get whenever he/she gamble.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 22, 2020, 10:27:55 AM
He's very cautious and wary with his fortune knowing that luck doesn't dictate the entirety of the game. It is not bad though if he is going back to gamble again when he will do it moderately but if it turns out to be often as he dragging the down his last resources then something bad is waiting for him up ahead. Anyway I think this kind of gesture like quitting right away is applicable for people who won the jackpot, or something far bigger than what he bet, and had already bet. Since you gain more than what you spend. Otherwise it is just a loss or your money remains the same.
Quitting after you hit the jackpot is the right thing to do, and like what you have said it's very possible that he might comeback and play again, the fact that he quit and bring his money out from the house give him opportunities to think about where to spend the money, if he's wise enough and use it to divert and start a business it will be a good start for him. Let the gambling side be entertaining once you have a business to feed your vices.

Exactly man! The same thing I was thinking whenever I gamble, and wish to hit a jackpot just even once. Though I wanna own some properties I kept on thinking on establishing a business over the other for me to have a strong passive income, you know, you'll have to deal with monitoring, checking inventories, and if it grows up then checking your employees and such. Because we couldn't just depend on luck, and gamble it everytime which is most gamblers fails to think that portrays that obsession with money, and winning would devour us that would lead to unfortunate events.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 22, 2020, 05:38:42 AM
I'm just asking though.

And looking at the discussion it's likely that the comparison for MJ (past) and the current (LBJ) can't be ignored. But we as fans should stop comparing these two great players of our generation.

The same with the other discussions that I'm reading online after they've watched the docu.

No, they are in a different era and now they are more of fast plays.
Before it was all plays like how the Spurs won their championships.
Slow but yet so sure.

There are a lot of changes now in NBA including rules. I think that also should be considered.
No one wins by comparing the two. Even interviewed players could not even tell who is the best because of the different timeline.
That includes, Wilt, Bill, Kobe, and a lot more.
As long as they did great, they are all GOAT in their own era.

Exactly! That is what I am trying to say above. However I somehow agree to them as well (I am not trying to be a bandwagon here lol). It is just it struck me that people are entitled to their own opinion since this is just a discussion either way. So, IF I am going to be biased then I'll side with LBJ since he's the one I look upto, and he's the player I grew up watching. But whatever, these two are undeniably great at their era. Beside these two man plays different position in NBA. So, it might MJ is the greatest shooting guard (since he played this pos the most), and LBJ is the greatest small forward, cheers  Grin.

386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 21, 2020, 07:24:12 AM

There is also the fact that MJ was literally the best player by far on a Bulls team that went 72-10 and that shows how awesome he was during a period where almost all teams were good as well, tanking wasn't really so obviously done as much as today and dude was just whole levels above everyone else. I hate it when people keep saying MJ didn't had help or Lebron didn't had help etc because these teammates all provide something but as soon as MJ left, that team tanked as much as Cavs tanked after Lebron as well.
I could agree with you on this, best players when they left will result to a disaster of the team.
When Lebron first left the cavaliers, the team tank, but when he rejoined, the team dominated in the East and even won a championship once, now he left, Cavaliers became a bad team and he made the Lakers great since joined with the Lakers, so we can say that Lebron is a special player who can carry a team like MJ, but TBH IMO, MJ is better than LBJ.

Not a hater of Lebron but actually he doesn't dominate alone since if you look up on the rooster which team he belongs you can see that he always want to get a strong player to play on his side, And look what he did in cleveland? He trade the potential and left when the boat is sinking  and now he go with lakers and do his best to acquire Davis and other stars to help him save his legacy, So in that thing we can never compare him with MJ since he is far to him and discussion will end unto that since the real goat is MJ.

These two man play in different era hence, we couldn't just compare the two that way. What's certain here is that they're both great in dominating the league in their time specially in their prime. LBJ indeed had, and has his well-known teammates but MJ got his own team, either. Well, every team has it is just that those dominating team plays very-well offensively, and defensively as opponents having hard time defending, and scoring at the same time.

What I am pointing out is that MJ record wouldn't make LBJ any less of a great player even if MJ had finished the league with 72-10 standing, even if MJ is 3 rings ahead, even if LBJ had Wade, Bosh or Davis. Let us just appreciate the two. They made themselves a name in the league, and have proven it on the court. These two really are one of the great players to ever play the game, no doubt about it.

388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 21, 2020, 02:34:35 AM
I am also curious but I think it isn't really important to me after all since it wouldn't help me if I get those information's.
There are so many lucky gamblers out there who could make some crazy profit from their small capital.
I have seen some insane win in some online casino's and it just inspire me to go crazy to follow what they have done but it also made me lose so much.
That is true, but as you said you are also curious. Even though it can't help you, it is somehow important because we get to know that there are really some people who are lucky enough to win this kind of winnings.

That's the thing, this kind of information is not given to gamblers to make it an inspiration, it is only to let you know that the rewards is real, you just accept it in a wrong way that is why you lose so much. You should know that if they win, doesn't mean that the same thing will also happen to you.
Making them your inspiration might only put you on the end of the peak because if you are unlucky and you push yourself to play gambling all the time just to earn huge amount of profit, you could get bankrupt. Gambling is all about luck, so without any luck you will just lose and lose that you have a less chance to win.

Correct, some people might have had hit a jackpot but it doesn't necessarily mean this could happen too often and if it happens the chance of it happening is really low. If you will make them as an inspiration it might lead you to hoping that of they can, then why can't you. Sometimes what you hope for in gambling comes out the other way. I would admire those people above if they were able to keep their fortune after winning anhuge amount of money.

Luck doesn't dictate the entirety of the game. There's nothing wrong on setting up someone as your inspiration, the only mistake is that you're playing it without a single plan. Someone's may earn that much but don't ever forget that they as well lose beforehand. You know, you could gamble all the way you want but it has to be moderated specially when you're not really winning that big or you lose often. Don't base on the appearances of somebody, you have to look thoroughly as well and understand the necessarily factors of saving profit, and minimizing loss.

How was Trump's handling of the crisis pathetic? Is it because America is no.1 in cases? The are the highest because America is the fastest in testing people and have tested more people than any country. Stop listening to mainstream news media. They are the same mainstream news media that have said bitcoin is for criminals. They are liars.
Trumps opposition parties are trying to take the advantage of corona situation and its common in politics. Its true that american government were not well prepared for this pandemic but my question is; who were?. Italy, France, UK, Spain, Belgium, Iran all countries have same situation now but in comparison with others USA is doing much better to save their citizen. Its clearly proven now that entire world wasn’t prepare enough to tackle this crisis and its not the right time to play blame game.
Political interest once again. Numerous countries has the same problem even here in our country that no matter what good deed the authorities want to implement here there were be always an opposition from people against that person. And someone have already resignes from his position, and this might happen in US government if the self-interest would remain above the supposedly job.
Quote
I don’t think corona situation will make remarkable effects on Donald Trump's popularity but if he can handle current situation properly obviously it will be positive for sure. Atleast americans are not hiding news and real death cases like China Roll Eyes
I don't wanna be a racist as well but China's case is really something. This must be addressed, and investigated once everything are fine. So for now, we have to let it slide but someone have to keep an eye on it.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 19, 2020, 02:18:22 PM
It's unfortunate to see that he announce his retirement in midst of the pandemic disease since he deserve a good appreciation for the outstanding career and for the honor of the country for playing on Gilas, but anyways he doesn't getting younger anymore maybe he will step out on hardcourt and will still have any position on PBA or maybe on the MVP group since for sure his presence still a good boost for the team which select him to work on.
Well, he has some reasons why he chose to retire.
- His contract with the Bolts has expired already after the last conference and until the time he didn't announced his retirement, there is no call for him telling that his contract will be renewed.
- He is prone to his injuries also and he can be a burden to his team if he continues to play as he stated.

He is one of the best stretch big in PBA History. He can shoot in front of you even your arms is right in front of him. He is good in three and in the perimeter. Maybe this is is time though and we can't see anything about him this last year. Kudos to him. He can also be a part of the management if he wants so he can share his experience with this young athletes Cheesy.

Yeah it's unfortunate but seems his body is not on his side at this time since he's aging and might that's totally burden for a team if they will let him sit on bench, But still decision still good so might provably he will get a contract outside the court since as we know he have a great experience where he can share by teaching the young legs.

Not a bad call from him, he did great things, and for sure he already earned a lot of money. He must be tired, or because he got the chance to look what he must do with himself beside playing basketball, in this time of lockdown. He can be a coach or a trainer he is trustworthy, and reputable man on the league though.

For the team, I guess there were no regrets or what since they have know the spot for new younger players now. Not to mention, those batang gilas except Kai, lol he's probably going all down to international league.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: April 19, 2020, 03:34:35 AM
It's a welcome development and I encourage every other crypto related gambling platforms out there to follow the footsteps of freebitcoin. This is a very troubling time and we all should do what's humanly possible to assist those risking their lifes to save the lifes of our loved ones and other. I haven't come across any other gambling sites doing this and I must applaud freebitcoin for initiating this in the cryptocurrency community.

Some additional benefit of this kind gesture is that, it'll also help promote both the gambling platforms and indirectly promote bitcoin (cryptocurrency) to the masses in need of assistance.
Simply put, they are in win-win situation. Helping those beneficiaries, and at the same time getting the spotlight to promote crypto community at the same time. I think, with this movement, other platforms would follow up, you know people/companies just need someone to initiate first before they do anything else. Anyway, though this site been working up for ages they still didn't forget to reach out and lend a hand to the needy even if the community forget 'em. This crisis, indeed reveals the character out of someone.
392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto sentiment of a kid: How can I improve learning about crypto on: April 18, 2020, 03:30:11 PM
Education is a life long journey, man. It is not that whenever you read something and you thought you learned would make you a perfect one. Yeah, people here aren't perfect either they are just making less wrong. They might be pretty precise and accurate to what they are saying but that doesn't make 'em a perfect one. The underlying truth is that they are learning and discovering something new continuously while approaching the ideology of perfection which no one could ever be.

I couldn't recommend of anything else because you're already doing what a student, and an enthusiast supposed to do. However, don't ever forget this, always love what you're doing, have fun and don't let of not feeling great over the other spoil the fun. Someday you'll be at their level and would acquire skillset, and ideas they have before you notice it. They might be an untouchable one but it doesn't make you any less of a human. Keep it up, buddy!
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 18, 2020, 11:30:26 AM
Nothing happens during halvings. If there is to be an effect it starts in the following year.
Just exactly on what I thought. Well based from history, changes follow up the next year after the halving occur. What really certain right now is that we are totally clueless, zero ideas what possible circumstances might occur right away the halving specially in this time of crisis. Though there are too much hype with the incoming but that doesn't mean everything would go upward, people have prepared a long time before halving. Anyway, with the current market approaching the day everyone were looking for, as I see market would stay stagnant at $7k till that day, no suprising pump.

The only thing I can think of is mandatory identification.
Lahat ng local board user would present their valid ID's and if anyone has alternate accounts, their usernames should also be disclosed.
Halos lahat naman siguro dito may Coins.ph account and has undergone through their rigorous KYC process. So losing your anonymity within the forum won't be a problem?
Kaso nga 'lang, may mga members din tayo dito na allergic sa thought na mawawalan sila ng privacy at anonymity (I'm not saying that's a bad thing ha).
Siguro talaga, for now, mukhang hanggang sa pag-connect 'lang muna ng mga known addresses at socmed profiles magagawa natin to bust them and that is not an easy task (been there, done that Grin).
Possible 'to sir but I doubt na lahat ay magbibigay ng kanilang credentials. Hindi siguro sa allergic 'yong iba pero they prioritize their security na rin, you know first thing na laging tinuturo lagi nung mga prof at nung iba sa'ti na 'wag ibibigay basta-basta mga sensitive information. Siguro if my team or what man na maghohold ng mga ganiyang bagay, and may mga kasulatan na they should be held liable once na may mawala or sort of na mangyari sa identity ng user. More over, may authorize and trustworthy na maghahawak niyan team/individual. Hindi kasi dapat madisclose publicly 'yong infos, so dapat parang may database ganon tas may isang magmamanage. Anyway, sobrang labo nito, lol. KYC nga lang sa coins non kabado pa ako kung ibibigay ko or hindi e.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 17, 2020, 02:06:00 PM
They can resume games but it wont be the same just like before where lots of crowds around and also it would be a bit hassle on checking everyone to go inside in the venue from staffs to players down to people who do tend to watch.I cant still picture out the possibility for any resume.
That's the sad reality, less crowd means less income for the organization, and less sales also.
I think they are not really making a lot with the online NBA subscription, more of the revenue are coming from sales in the venue and its items.
Correct me if I'm wrong, because if my assumption is correct, this means the revenue will reduce and most probably players salary will be affected as well.
I doubt that they would resume unless there were some sort of confirmation that all players, staff, and coaches are clear from virus. You know they can't risk life over a game. Yeah, live generates more revenue than online streaming, tickets are really expensive specially in playoffs. As for the players salary... I don't think that there are changes into that, you know they fill up a contract that no matter what would be the circumstance are salary won't change until the contract expires or void(not sure with this one, please correct me if I am wrong) even if they play dumb in the court or getting benched the whole time.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 16, 2020, 03:58:54 PM
Yeah, I certainly agree to all, you reallt can't take one over the other as it they play huge role in trader's journey. And let me add one more thing that IMO traders usually overlook. What I mean is that don't be afraid to fail specially in your first try. Sounds lame but I think it is really necessary, since failure would open up you to new ideas, and opportunities by means of finding out your shortcomings as a trader. Never ever let the embarrassment hold you back on pursuing though.

I kinda think this topic must be moved to Trading Discussion.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers are betting on Trotting and Marbles due to Coronavirus on: April 16, 2020, 06:20:18 AM
I would like to know if you’ll have ever gambled on Trotting, and marbles if yes how was your experience gambling on it.

I don't know what Trotting, I just read it above and in terms of marble, I never thought it would be that mainstream this lockdown.

Been seeing a lot of streams playing marbles and I even saw a Facebook video in the past shoutcasting a marble tournament in a track or obstacle he just made. I also watched a tournament in 2018 in Southern England about a Marble Tournament and I don't even think that people would bet on it, I mean people are just that bored I think.

Sure people found some interest betting in an event you didn't expect will be betting on. Lol, I just saw this marble vids on fb as well, as I see a single man did it all, the track, the shoutcasting, and the tourney itself. Now that it became a mainstream, it makes me wonder what would it look like in the long run? I mean, isn't it just a temporary thing for now because people are bored, or this kind of thing would go big in gambling industry. This is intresting though, pure luck would dictate the entire game.

Things will take a lot of time to be normal , till then how will the economy survive?
IMO, it is not about how the economy can survive, it is about how we can solve the crisis or the virus itself as soon as possible. It seems that there were individuals, and families who weren't cooperating with their community their were still who defy orders, and that's the big problem. If people would remain prioritizing their pride over a simple order, controlling the amount of infected, and would be affected by this virus would going out of hand by the authorities. Thus, cooperation is the only key to solve this crisis so that numbers would remain under control. Unfornately, economy set to suffer as well, no one's excuse on falling down in this time. Economic recovery, will be settled once the virus that causes it to fall is gone.

Seems like everyone were looking for a job online then landed here. Well, the same as mine if it weren't about that CAPTCHA resolving thing I won't be here. Back in 2017 when I was looking for an income that would save me from my pleasure I mean I wanna buy my stuff independently, and the thing that always pop out in the internet whenever I search for an income online is that CAPTCHA stuff but it turn out to be a suspicious one; asking documents I can't provide. Later that, a friend of mine introduce me here, I know nothing about BTC beside that SilkRoad story and all. Am I worried? Yes, but I keep going since discussions here are entertaining, and interesting till I earn my rank, and by that day it was the day a friend of mine introduce me to what a signature camp is. Well, as of now, I find this forum differently not just as a source of income but a different community full of interesting stuff I want to know more. Well, I pursue a course which related to tech because of the influence of btc this forum in my life. I am still learning though, I am still no one in this community. My story isn't that interesting but I wanna share too.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 15, 2020, 12:13:15 PM
The market is standing still and investors are on a wait and see now, people are waiting for this pandemic to end and they are following if there is a new vaccine or any vaccine will be released in the next few months, judging from all the news coming out at least 4 countries are on clinical test on a proven vaccine, so there is hope that this pandemic will be controlled.

Will you start buying after the release of the vaccine or are you go going to wait or are you now buying because you know the market will eventually get better.

You're late, buddy. I already bought when market's messing up at $4k. Well, I am planning to buy once again since I have this hope that market would go back at maybe$9k or if fortunate $10k? Don't have any analysis thought 'cause this is just a mere feeling of mine that when everything seemed to be fine then everyone would go back to crypto space.
As for the vaccine case, I just recently read that Pharma giants Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline would join forces. It was stated that if they successful achieved their plans, potentially vaccines would be available at the second half of 2021. But let us hope that it won't take that much longer.
