385  Economy / Goods / (SOLD) Nikon D5200 18-140 VR Kit on: March 08, 2015, 12:57:22 AM
Selling my Nikon D5200 18-140 VR Kit.  Includes the D5200 camera and AS-F DX Nikkor 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens.  In other words it's a super bundle to get most people started taking fantastic photos.  You can see some photos I took with this camera here (although I used a micro lens for those shots).

Will also include a 32GB microSD card ($25 value), spare authentic Nikon branded battery ($60 value), and carrying case.

If you were to buy this brand new from amazon, newer, or anywhere else for that matter it would cost you over $900. Do't believe me? Go ahead, google it.

I'll sell you mine, which is in absolute mint condition for $700, shipped within the US-48. Additional fee will apply for international buyers.

Payment can be made in BTC or USD. If USD, cash or money transfer only.

It's a fantastic deal. I could easily get over $800 if I were to list it on eBay. And you know it. Anyway... usually things don't sell here because there are way too many cheapos and poor folks on here so it will likely sell on eBay or craigslist.  But who knows, I figured I might as well put it on here too.

Why am I selling? Upgraded to a true more elite Leica camera set.

387  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: March 07, 2015, 05:21:45 PM
I like this forum very much. I will donate soon to become a donator.  Wink

only a fucktard without a life would donate at this point. all VIPs and donors made their contributions when BTC wasn't worth much.

at this point a 10btc donation is worth around $2.7k. with that money you can take a trip to asia and europe with that and explore and enjoy life so much more. why on earth would you donate it to this place? it's not like it will be put to any helpful use.  don't be a sad lonely man...

also looking at your previous posts u mentioned u don't have enough funds to make even the smallest purchases.....

don't make empty posts. this forum is filled with people like you.

Do you have any of the 1BTC Silver-Gold round without an error for sale?

I'd somewhat like to get one perhaps even if it's been spent already. The coin itself looks awesome.

Yes I have plenty. They are being graded and I'll pick them up when I get back to the states at the end of this month. I'll let you know what grades I have.

All my coins are loaded.

And any ungraded?

yes i have some of those too. graded or not they are all in mint condition as they shipped. send me your best offer

Quote
I was a 90s kid, so when Pokemon came out, I was all over it. Magic however is the only card game that hasn't really changed over the 21 years its been around. I mean they release new cards every year, but for the most part, you can take cards from 1993 and play them with your 2014 cards and they still work together (depending on what format you are playing) Wizards of the Coast, responsible for Pokemon Cards/Magic Cards/ quite a few others, does what they do well. They know how to create scarcity in their trading cards and make that an integral part of a competitive game. The biggest draw is the competitiveness, and the fact that you will never play the same game twice, there are something like 20,000 cards in existance, if you have 60/100 cards in your deck, and you play someone else with 60/100 cards in their deck, the chances of a game playing out the same way twice is near impossible.

i used to be into yigioh. loved it. but now i just can't reconnect with it. maybe it's different with magic. yugioh seems to be for kids now. Smiley

397  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to retire on $100,000 on: January 26, 2015, 09:35:26 PM
that's simply not enough to last you until you die. let alone when medical bills come in. not just for you but also your loved ones. and don't forget the temptation to spend money on all kinds of junk.

you could make it if you live in isolation somewhere and become self sufficient and spend money on supplies to keep you alive.
