So many sellers/re-sellers with little trust Sad

I suggest ordering from here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514758.0

This unit is from pcfli he did ship out 32miners Saturday. Mine arrived today, travelled bout 10000km.  Grin
Working fine.
385  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: March 31, 2014, 12:44:15 PM
Those are either Dragon Mners produced bij fz49.com or the 1Th/s miners from asiabtc (lightningasic).
Hi i decide to signup account been watching the forum quite sometime.
Those are from dragon miner from lketc.com/enindex.aspx. It is out quite sometime.

fz49.com is Dragonminer reseller. Asiabtc is Dragonminer reseller. Factory is called lketc.com.

This is how new Dragonminers look. They are 4 blade units with total 32 A1 chips, mine runs 1TH /1KW from wall.
I paid less than Antminer S2 and got it before Antminer S2

New batch of Dragon miners looks like this. Mine draws 990-1000w /230volts from wall. New design is nice but runs very hot.
They can cut costs with new design and yet still ship out 1TH miners

I paid less than Antminer S2 and got it before Antminer S2

Paid 3 days ago or so, still unshipped but valid and paid. Do you think they shipped it or they don't work Saturday and Sunday?

Did you get any update on shipping?  Mine is still 'valid unshipped'

Cheers
Not yet, still Paid,Unshipped,Valid. Hopefully they actually sent it and it would be here within 3-4 days.

They ship Monday-Tuesday, my weekend orders usually get tracking number on Tuesday.
I just counted from Bitmains wallet they sold over 152 miners on Sunday March 30. Maybe 20% had coupons used.

At this price still very good investment.

388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin..... Really??? on: March 30, 2014, 09:48:35 PM
So, if the Chinese are freaking out and selling then how comes Bitmain sold not one single coin?

+1

Steady flow of orders coming in. Good to see they can afford to run best hardware business of 2014 without cashing out customers btc  Shocked wow.
I can see my order there.
389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 30, 2014, 09:12:11 PM
S1 Sold Out  Sad when will be available again?

W_M

I think Bitmain will focus on the S2 now, so the S1 won't be in stock again Smiley

Lucky me. I got order in saturday.

Got a VERY limited quantity of 1T25 boards. SOLD OUT - Do not even ask, they´re all sold and ships today.
In respect for Cheshyr, this is his GB thread, if you´re interested send me a PM.

I´m also confident bobsag3´s supplier can shake down some boards in the nearest future  Wink

I went for it and bought blades from him but seems JD just scammed us. It's been 10 days since his last login and the BTC walled payments went was cleared 2 days ago.

This was payment wallet https://blockchain.info/address/1NtBstjBMu196Dgt6gNJRb3wQUrZukG5oH

Partly moved to this wallet which was also used in Eligius to mine with one Dragonminer. Speed just under 1TH is Dragonminer.

Has anyone received their miner ?

I have received 3 units via DHL.  We are pulling 1130 watts from the wall @ 1.08 TH/s.

Here is a video I made.   Enjoy.

Cheers,

Thank you for confirming direct order worked. They beat Antminer in price already. Very disappointing they went from 5 blades 878watts to 4 blades 1130watts with 1000w psu you have firehazard right there.

Luckily you got the old case which I like more. You can add 5th blade in there but it will be 1.25th/1.5kw miner then.

Thanks.
394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: www.lketc.com 1TH Dragon miner direct order. 3000$ on: March 25, 2014, 12:30:26 PM

Typo should have been...

40 chips x 25GH = 1000GH = 0.9W/GH
32 chips x 25GH = 800GH = 0.9W/GH
32 chips x 31.25GH = 1000GH = more watts/GH!

You cannot magic 200GH out of thin air without adding more watts and it's an exponential relationship so it will require more than 20% extra watts.

I have Hex8A1 boards running 8x A1 chips @ 250GH and they're way over 300W each. Assuming it's a better batch of chips. 4 x 300W = 1.2W/GH

I stand corrected. You sir were correct.  Lips sealed They might gone over the head trying to make 1TH miner cheaper. Soon we will read reports of these units mass failing.

I have one unit that draws 1050 watts at the wall (measured using a Killowatt), and another unit that draws 1170 watts at the wall!

They went worse. These units will not last.

I ordered a 600GH Desk, putting me at 900GH with the CPP.  My understanding is that they are out of power supplies for the 4 and 5 unit desks, so I even asked if I was to PAY MORE and upgrade by another expansion, could they send me two 600GH units more quickly.
Today I received this response:

Dear Mr. (sephtin),

I am sorry to tell you that CoinCraft Rigs production has been suspended and will not be resumed before approximately 15 days. We understand your concern about the huge delay your order is facing, and if you don't want to wait anymore for your order to be processed feel free to ask for a refund. Also note that further upgrades and orders are suspended until we process all the orders we have. Thank you for your patience so far.

Best regards,

Sorry for my ignorance but I was not around back then.
How much people paid for these September order of 600GH now 900GH mining machines. USD price.
In China you can get one 1TH miner with Bitmine Coincraft A1 chips for ¥16200 order today, local shipping covered. Ships next week.. thats about 2620$ from LKETC

Wheres the lawsuit. Bitmine got the chips, they had no skills to make miners. I think Innosilicon saw this coming.
396  Economy / Services / Re: [open][Lee group,Round 3]3650$ 1T dragon Miner delivered in 29 March on: March 24, 2014, 08:34:07 PM
do all these have space for an extra "blade"?

I think that was rumour. They will ship with new case with room for only 4 blades. Old design is sold out in chinese website.
397  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Noncetech - small scale Bitcoin hardware manufacturer on: March 24, 2014, 07:27:24 PM
Good job looks good. Cooling can be done with standard coolers or waterblocks.

I assume cooling was 70/30. Can they be cooled enough from top only.
398  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: www.lketc.com 1TH Dragon miner direct order. 3000$ on: March 24, 2014, 05:18:02 PM
Think about what you're saying...

40 chips x 25GH = 1000GH/900W

32 chips x 25GH = 800GH/900W ??

32 chips x 31.25GH = 1000GH/more watts!

You cannot magic 200GH out of thin air without adding more watts and it's an exponential relationship so it will require more than 20% extra watts.

I have Hex8A1 boards running 8x A1 chips @ 250GH and they're way over 300W each. Assuming it's a better batch. 4 x 300W = 1.2W/GH

Sorry I was not that clear. Need to improve my English, thats was very bad post. I am saying more watts per chip yes, still 1 less blade take less watts in total. They wont go from 180watts per blade to 300watts per blade, no point. I put killa-a-watt to my unit today and it was pulling 878w from wall with 1TH ok i have swapped the chinese 1kw psu to FPS Aurum 1.2kw psu which might run bit more efficient. Also my fans are taking less watts. I swapped silent ones.

40chips x 25GH = 1000GH/900W 5 blades
32chips x 25GH = 800GH/720W 4 blades
32chips x 31,25GH = 1000GH/+900w 4 blades lets say 25% increase in hashpower and 30% increase in power consumption. Could be possible.

32chips x 31,25GH = 1000GH/1200W would be 25% increase in hashpower and 68% increase in power consumption... thats too much. My bet is closer to 1W/GH or under.

That unit cant draw 1.2kw or it's fail in design. No point making it. I quess we will see soon. I have one coming I assume it's new design.

I am just speculating here with no better knowledge. Lets assume I am wrong. Maybe we see 1200w psu there.
399  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: March 23, 2014, 11:19:03 PM
Is there a way to pull the drivers from live working unit

What do they use as a controller?  Do they have a download of the image that they use or can you create me one?

Neil

I have gen1 unit. It's Raspberry PI + Control board for maximum of 6 Coincraft A1 Blades. My supplier stole my LCD unit but i'm getting a new one. This supplier propably wanted to hide the lketc.com logo.

How to overclock a Dragon 1Th unit:

Turn it off, then on again.
SSH into the pi
Locate the CGminer folder
Create a .sh , name it to whatever you want (nano Overclock.sh  <-- just a example)
Add:

Code:
sudo ./cgminer -o "1" -u 2 -p bac --no-submit-stale --tempCut 70 --real-quiet --queue 1 --cs 9 --stmcu 0 --diff 5 --api-listen --api-network --A1Pll 800

1: Keep the ", add pool adress
2: Wallet or Username, depends on which pool you use
800: Default clocksetting, you can push it to 850Mhz but no more.

I´m currently working on locating the, what i think is, modified Adafruit python script for the LCD and the next thing on my checklist is to locate the modified drivers for the Chinese A1 chip. My "plan" is to send ´em over to Mineforeman and modify the script so we can have a custom MinePeon for the Dragon units  Grin

If it's any help I can clone the MicroSD card for whole RaPi bootable card.

This is the Taobao shop of company who is making these miners. I do beleave they are selling SDcards with preinstalled software. I dont know any repos of any download bases to obtain the software. They claim new revisios are supporting OTA software updates. I have not yet obtained new units.

Taobao has banned mining machines sales but they can sell accessories.

has anyone figured out how to overclock the "gen1" blades? can it be done? should it be done? Should I add a power supply?

I cannot find any info on the overclocking. Oh, and if someone can figure out the logo on the LCD screen....Id pay for that.

Start with extra psu. Good chance something breaks.

1.2Th is impossible and the reason why you got no instructions on how to overclock the Dragon units is because it will go up in smoke if you push it (Cheap-ass components)
