382  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OgNasty Ponzi passthrough and ponzi fans.. BTC losses everywhere he goes on: December 14, 2019, 09:35:18 PM

If you wake up in the morning and your yard is wet, but you didn't see it rain, would you consider it just speculation that it rained because someone could have come  and sprayed your yard with water while you were sleeping?  No.  The wet yard proves beyond a reasonable doubt that it rained.

I think you're using phrases that you shouldn't be. Here I sit on the jury, my yard was wet this morning from the phenomenon known as "morning dew". It did not rain yet my yard is wet. I now reasonably doubt your whole case.
When you're making accusations such as the ones in this thread/topic you better come harder than that.

384  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [ON SALE FRI] Emperor Penguin Loaded Note on: December 13, 2019, 09:30:59 PM
1) Why customers have to send 0.005BTC while notes are only loaded with 0.001BTC Huh

I feel like the instructions may have been copy pasted and overlooked from the 5 milli bitcoin Northern Cardinal
385  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2 gold colored 2013 Bitcoin collectible token Cancelled on: December 13, 2019, 06:31:32 PM
Once again, due to 0 research done you are out money and wasted valuable front page space. You realize every new thread you make bumps someone further down and onto page two. Your terrible forum etiquette has been talked about and explained to you time after time and you don't learn.
386  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🚀 [WTS] 2 gold colored 2013 Bitcoin collectible tokens In acrylic cases 🚀 on: December 13, 2019, 06:25:04 PM

2 gold coloured 2013 Bitcoin collectible tokens In acrylic cases marked as follows.

Do you have any proof to show these are from 2013? I think China makes thousands of them daily.
387  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB]🚀 Want 2 buy BTC item(s) with .0076 btc I have left with B4 Christmas 🚀 on: December 13, 2019, 02:57:11 PM
I do not know the exact price of lots of things. Good idea to research on bitcointalk how they were sold for before.
Thanks.  Smiley

But I also saw there are so much price variations for the same type of item/ That is why I am confused.

If you're confused about the price variations then you can perform further research and pin point what the price of bitcoin was during the particular sale. You'll see that while the bitcoin sales price may have fluctuated the price in terms of USD doesn't really.

I use https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BTC-USD/history/
388  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB]🚀 Want 2 buy BTC item(s) with .0076 btc I have left with B4 Christmas 🚀 on: December 13, 2019, 02:44:07 PM
There is a search bar you can use to search for these coins you are wanting. The 2oz Coinographic bull you want for 0.0076 last sold in August 2019 for 0.05. AND within 16 minutes of being up for sale at that price.

You need to know and understand your price point and what is available to you. Do research.
389  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Polymerbit Creative] What did you make? on: December 12, 2019, 11:58:27 PM
I love it, but why are the back bolts of that slab so long? If you send me dimensions, I might have one that will fit/look better. Wink

I can also sympathize with the holo deal. Such a nightmare, I could never do it on many coins and get it right lol! Cheesy

I have a box of the shorter bolts somewhere I just have to find them.. got too excited putting the CI holo on that I decided to take pics before I found them.
390  Economy / Collectibles / [Polymerbit Creative] What did you make? on: December 12, 2019, 04:47:22 PM
Announced March 31, 2018 and released on April 1, 2018 Polymerbit made the perfect April Fool's Joke by releasing completely blank notes for sale one day only. Limited to only 50 pieces and 0.0071BTC($50) these were bought up pretty quickly.. Not knowing if it was just an April Fool's Joke or not many of us took the risk and threw our money at Polymerbit.
Thread here: [ANN] NEW PRODUCT: Polymerbit Creative

I at the time was obsessed(still am) with the Friends of Satoshi ZimNote I knew I immediately wanted to make mine into a re-creation of one. Contacting each collaborator in the ZimNote project I received each of their blessings to reproduce their certain aspect of the note through a graphic artist I found on r/forhire.

Just two days ago I received the last hologram piece I needed to be able to finalize my design, this has been an idea/project for over a year now and I'm so happy with how it came together. The last piece I need to finish the whole project is to make a high res scan of one of the ZimNote CoA's and create my own "Certificate of Nonthenticity".

Time to see what I created (I cheated a little bit and had Polymerbit print on mine for me).
Please use this thread to share your creations aswell!

I present to you my "Friends of Satoshi ZimNote - Eat Crow Edition" (WARNING - big pictures incoming)

There's a few flaws but I wanted those to make sure this doesn't get confused as an official ZimNote. Excited to see what other's came up with. I also give mad props to any man or woman or machine that has to put holograms on things. Worst job in the world.

Did the guy that bought 60+ of these know there was going to be another 100 released? Seems kind of dirty if it wasn't mentioned before and he/she thought they were cornering the market.

If you convert their bid to a USD it is about $1.50 per coin. You can increase the price of that multiply times and it does not cover the cost of manufacture.

The first coins fit in a standard airtight and I think are better. But it seems most people prefer no airtight or an ugly airtight with a foam ring and a better looking coin

I will not convert their bid to USD and try to daydream up your production cost + additional runs? If they were not informed that another 100 of these were in production it is an asshole move. If you convert their bid to USD multiplied by the number of coins they bought you'll find the amount they should be refunded.

You effectively increased the mintage number by 100%.

Since when does production cost = manufacture cost? The cost of manufacture is lower than production as production includes a variety of expenses while manufacture is the sole cost of production of said item. At least to my understanding.

I did not break even with the 2019 coin, and if you include the cost of the design for the 2018 coin I did not break even.

Your ass salesmanship has nothing to do with this. Your production vs. manufacturing dictionary-off has nothing to do with this. Are you unable to answer a question without leading off down an irrelevant trail?
Was the second run of 100 coins planned and known about when you offered sales/auctions of coins 1-100 of the first batch?

I stand by this statement as a collector and seeing a seemingly limited mintage of coins double in size AFTER sales took place based on low serial numbers.
If you convert their bid to USD multiplied by the number of coins they bought you'll find the amount they should be refunded.

If the second 100 started as serials 101 to 200 I wouldn't even be arguing this.
