sent my coins from cryptopia, and still 0 confirmations after few hours now
Okay just a quick question..which wallet are you receiving the coins? The old or new esp wallet? cryptopia is still using esp 1. Cryptopia stated that they will not list the new chain until the end of swap. How is the current staking (POS) set up.. Rewards seem pretty good? Is it a set percent or variable? Thanks
PoS is working well, however monitoring the staking the chain might have to be brought to 5% sooner as the gain is very rapid. We'll monitor the situation for a little bit first. No cause for alarm it'll just be another update. I need some HELP, please!

I want to send my coins to NOvaexchange, but i cant cos of this. What should i do ? I got 500,000 EXP in my ESP1 wallet. It used to work very well, but now when i open it, after the syncing finishes it keeps saying unconfirmed 500,000 ESP.
What could be the problem?

EDIT: I have 15 active connections to espers network.
Just forget about them. In old wallet -salvagewallet don't work.  Backup your dat file and re-sync your chain. Should fix your issue, @Samai. Salvagewallet never really worked on btc either lol. It's not my problem.  But new ESP chain have a huge problem. and it requires solutions  Already taking care of one thing. Will have to update the windows client link on the ANN and announce when the new client is released (code fix not adding anything new yet). Nova will have their client recompiled within 30 minutes of change and it won't occur for another day or so. Nodes will follow suite. As for the ESP2 having huge issues idk about huge. Just an issue that needs attention and it's getting it  We are just taking it down to 50 * cent as the current PoS rate is showing that the 250 * cent is causing the chain to produce ~125% PoS (Lol) as it's quit fast. So by dropping the PoS down to 50 * cent we can go back to being at our goal of ~25% PoS. So in a sense this is a really minor fix that puts us back onto the 25%->5%->1% pathThis change will occur on block 20,000. All OP and ANN links will be updated within 30 minutes. Github is following suite. Nova is already aware and awaiting github update |

What am I doing wrong?   PoS always orphans some blocks. This was explained a few pages back. How much are people mining this with POW? The POS seems to be about less than 1% every few hours. I don't know the exact numbers.
There are currently more PoW than PoS blocks from what we can tell according to how the block explorer is displaying. PoS is 25% of total. So the less you have the less you'll stake. |

I really really hate these answers! I went to page one ALREADY and nothing there says its the new ESP2 wallet posted. This is why I need a clear answer, and perhaps OP can make it more obvious that its the ESP2 wallet posted in the OP. It was posted a couple pages back that the OP of this ANN was already updated with the latest links. Windows & Mac are now the latest links. Guess we'll have to add pretty colorful text saying it's been updated. Why are the POS rewards of different size btw? I have learned from other coins that the reward size is constant ...  PoS selects different coins to stake at a time. Therefore the rewards will be different size and in different intervals since this is off of %. |

Eh, not apposed to them mining it though.
Simple really.ESP1 still has a pool, ESP2 doesn't yet. So mining esp1 and swapping is the easy thing to do. I think it will affect supply because all the esp1 pow is converted to esp2 while on the esp2 chain, there are fewer pow blocks thus more pos blocks than there should be Perhaps a pool for esp2 should be a priority right now. Maxminers should have no problem switching if asked Not to argue however we've noticed on the explorer that most of the blocks are seeming to be PoW blocks. It shouldn't affect the chain though as the new one was created wtih ESP1 being mined in mind. Edit: Emailed maxminer, thanks |

Don't think you are. The old chain is limited to 150 inputs. Check the coin control feature and see how much you can send in 150 input. It's not optimal and it's one of the reasons the switch is happening. so why am I the only one with the wallet issue who can't send more than 80k of espers?

If you use windowsNew client finally available: New Espers Client!PLEASE BE AWARE: This is not the full install client. We have a few small things to wrap up for the installer client, but in an effort to provide users with an alternative to having everything on one exchange you may use this client (compiled directly from source that is on github) to store your coins in the meantime (until tomorrow when we have enough time to finish everything). OP ANN Updated. (for Windows, Mac and Linux coming tomorrow) EDIT: Please understand the full installer will be released tomorrow, this is a temp client for folks to be able to pull their coins offline into their wallet. The OP on this ANN has also been updated (the windows client is now linked to the new one) Sooooo... Why haven't the big wallets been migrated to ESP2 yet? Just worries me because the ESP1 "Classic" hash and difficulty are rising and I made the switch already! lol

Can somebody tell me whats the way to fix Transaction amount too high to send?
Sometimes I can send 10M and sometimes 5M are too much to get it out of the wallet in one transaction. I´ll wait for a few block an try again. Works mostly. I was max first allowed to send a 1 million, and now my max at a time allowed to send is 80k I kept sending 1 mil, then after a few times of sending 1 mil, i would try 10 mil. If it let me i would keep sending 10/20mil until it didn't allow me. Then i would start sending 1 mil again for a few times, then switch back to 10/20mil. It look me a little but i was able to send all my coins using this method. Hope this helps. This is one of the main reasons to migrate to the new chain. Amongst the numerous changes that have been done in the source comapred to the original release, many bugs of the old one will no longer pose an issue once everyone is on the new chain. Thank you for helping out while we are away from the thread from time to time. @EveryoneLooking forward to wrapping up the Installer. Mac client should be available soon. Got it! That'll be the next Github update first thing in the morning. Sorry for never getting to it with the original chain.
@EveryoneSorry for not having the new full installer released yet (with mining+CCS features enabled). We've just been catching up on work now that the swap is rolling and we can focus on a quite a few things that needed attention. Github was updated with the correct Ports for hardcoded nodes. (Windows Client will be updated tomorrow morning as well) Thank you all for sticking by us through this! You support is what we thrive on. |

i did disable miniupnpc now as follows make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP= now i get this error g++: error: leveldb/libleveldb.a: No such file or directory

i have added the nodes from the list at the first page to the config.. change 22447 to 22448 and rebuild. Whoops! Sorry guys, The Ports did change from 22447 to 22448. Nope it should be working for Ubuntu. (at least daemon compiles fine) Will have a look at the issue you posted. We're working on getting a Nix GUI client up so we'll keep you posted. wow....

Okay okay okay, 1. We didn't remove anything. This is a different base source that was used as a reference. It DOES NOT HAVE that feature built in and is something we will have to add 2. Just wow? Did you read the release post? IT"S NOT DONE, This is a RUSHED RELEASE so that you don't have to be stuck storing everything on one exchange... Is that not acceptable for you? 3. What did we add? Idk GO COMPARE THE SOURCES! Then come back when you've actually done some research and stop spouting non-sense. How does this affect coins on cryptopia? All my esp are there... Not home to withdraw into desktop wallet  Just transfer your cryptopia funds to Nova, swap, then wait for Cryptopia to list the new chain. |
